Smooth pickup from the hotel (I was actually nervous since it was my first time).

The half-day tour of Oahu wasn't part of my original plan, but I'm so glad I went! It was amazing... especially Hanauma Bay, which has the most beautiful beach in the world and is definitely worth seeing.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is also a fantastic place to learn about Hawaiian and other regional cultures. I got to experience hands-on activities and demonstrations, and it was a day filled with laughter!

Japanese people... let's quickly throw away the feeling of embarrassment. There's no need to be shy; just be cheerful and enjoy! (laughs)

オアフ半日観光は当初の予定外でしたが行って良かったぁ‼最高…特に世界一キレイなビーチ、ハナウマ湾は一見の価値がありですよ

ポリネシア文化センターもハワイや他地区の文化を学ぶには最高⤴⤴です。手作り経験や実演をさせてもらったり、笑い転げた１日でした‼

日本人よ…恥ずかしいという気持ちは早く捨てよう。陽気に朗らかに楽しくシャイなんて要らないよ(笑)

Saw much of the same sights by helicopter Sat. Nice to see up close and personal. Ken was a great guide, very helpful. Nice group.

I had a great time! If I could wish for anything, I would have liked to relax a bit more in Haleiwa. My stay in Haleiwa was only about an hour as I was heading to go horseback riding. The garlic shrimp place I was aiming for opened about 15 minutes late, so I had to hurry and scarf down the garlic shrimp. It was delicious, but I wanted to savor it more and check out other shops as well.

とても楽しかったです！欲を言えばハレイワでもう少しのんびりしたかったなぁ。乗馬に向かうためハレイワ滞在は一時間位でした。お目当てのガーリックシュリンプ屋さんの開店が15分ほど遅れて急いでガーリックシュリンプをかきこむことに。美味しかったけどもっと味わいたかったし、他のお店も見たかったです。

We enjoyed doing this Circle Island tour, very informative tour, our driver Keith was nice, and explained every landmark places. We took the Ali Luau package so we can go around inside the villages with our own time as we have a small kid to walk. The Ha Breath of life was fantastic show.

This tour was awesome! We had plenty of time to do the waterfall hike and swim in the morning, then a relaxing lunch hour, then AMAZING surfing lessons with Uncle Bryan's very capable instructors. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life!

This tour was an amazing introduction to Oahu. The tour guide was very informative and friendly, and the day at the Cultural Center was very educational and fun. Our guide at the Polynesian Cultural Center was amazing and very energetic. The luau and dinner was amazing.

I was disappointed with the circle Island Tour as it felt rushed and we only had a half hour at the Dole Plantation which was sufficient only to get something to eat very quickly and see nothing else. The Polynesian Cultural Center was marvelous, great luau, great show. Our driver was a very sweet man but tended to preach and too frequently interspersed his own Christian beliefs. He also mentioned, way too often, the High Cost of Living and the low wages. He is very knowledgeable with regard to the price of real estate on the island, about which I really have no interest.

I was disappointed that I couldn't enter Hanauma Bay, which I had been looking forward to (I would have liked more detailed information online indicating that entry might not be possible even on days other than Tuesday). The town on the North Shore felt quite run-down, and others around me also said there wasn't anything particularly impressive. I would have preferred to visit the site of the Pearl Harbor attack, or I had heard from friends that the train at Dole was really nice, so I wished I had more time to ride the train there. The guide was very entertaining (though it was a bit disappointing that there were many advertisements for accessories).

The Polynesian Cultural Center was good. I appreciated how hard the students worked to explain things. I understood the drama-style shows somewhat in English, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if the guide or students had explained a simple story in Japanese beforehand. Since it was outdoors, even at night it felt hot and a bit long. The final fire show was spectacular and very moving.

期待していたハナウマ湾にはいれなくてガッカリでした（ネットの詳細に、火曜日以外でもはいれない可能性がある旨の説明がほしい）、ノースショアのタウンはさびれた町というかんじで格別感動するところはないと周りの人達も言っていた、それよりも、真珠湾攻撃の場所を見学したかった、又はドールの汽車がとてもいいと友達からきいていたので、ドールで汽車に乗る時間がほしかった。ガイドさんはとても面白い方でした（アクセサリーの宣伝が多いのがちょっと残念でしたが）
ポリネシア文化センターは良かった。学生さんたちがとても一生懸命説明してくれるのが好感もてた。ドラマ仕立てのショーはすべて英語で何となくわかったが、事前に簡単なストーリーを日本語でガイドさん又は学生さんが説明してくれてばもっと楽しめたと思う、野外なので、夜といえども暑くてちょっと長く感じた。最後のファイヤーショーは圧巻でとても感動した。

Throughout the afternoon, we went around to various places, and while the guide was very diligent in providing information, we only spent about 10 to 15 minutes at each location. If you need to use the restroom, that time is quickly up. When you have kids with you, it’s hard to move around, so there were times we didn’t get off the bus. I think it might be better to focus on fewer points of interest. The jewelry shop might not be necessary. The Polynesian Cultural Center is sufficient to visit in the afternoon. The buffet for lunch and dinner has almost the same offerings, so one visit is enough. They sell a variety of food. The last show ends at 9 PM, so it gets late, but the show was wonderful.

午後中、あちこち回るんですが、ガイドさんは一生懸命案内してくださるけど、一箇所10分とか15分とか、トイレ行ったら終わり。子供連れてると動けないので、降りなかった時も。ちょっと、ポイントを絞っても良いかと思います。ジュエリーショップは、不要かな。ポリネシア文化センターは、午後からで十分。ビュッフェは夜と昼、ほぼ同じ中身ですから、どちらか一回で良いと思います。何でも食べるもの売ってます。最後のショーが終わると21時なので、夜遅くなるけど、ショーは素晴らしかったです。

The guide was really great. At first, the makeup was so impressive that the kids were surprised, but thinking of it as a way to entertain the participants, it was a very service-oriented approach.

I was a bit surprised to receive sales at the black coral store, but I’m glad I bought something.

The Tonga zone at the Polynesian Cultural Center was very interesting. Now, I regret not raising my hand...

最初はすごいメイクだったので、子供もびっくりしていましたが、
参加者を喜ばせるための仕掛けだと思うと
とてもサービス精神のある言い方でした。

黒サンゴの店で販売を受けたのはちょっとびっくりしましたけど
買ってよかったと思っています。

ポリネシアン文化センターではトンガのゾーンがとっても面白かったです。
今となっては、手を挙げていればよかったと後悔しています・・・

I was able to experience the various cultures of the Polynesian islands firsthand. My middle school and elementary school children were also delighted to enjoy the world of Samoan movies.

ポリネシアの島々の様々な文化を生で体験できました。中学生と小学生の子どももサモアの映画の世界を満喫できたと喜んでいました。

The main event of our trip to Hawaii is always interesting, as the route changes every time we come. This time, even though I just went horseback riding on the 27th, it was completely engaging, with new emotions and discoveries each time. I have had different horseback riding experiences in Japan and Hawaii, but so far, the freedom of riding without a lead rope here is the best. I still find it exciting, and when we plan our next trip to Hawaii, I will definitely include this activity in our schedule. It has brought so much joy to our family.

ハワイ旅行のメインイベント、毎回来るたびにルートが違ってとても面白いです、今回も、２７日、乗馬したばかりなのにまったく飽きさせず、その都度新しい感動、発見があります、日本やハワイでも今まで違う乗馬体験をしましたが、今のところ、引き綱なしの解放感乗馬ができ、ここが一番、まだまだ、飽きずに、またハワイ旅行を計画した際は絶対このアクティビティは外さず日程に入れます、それだけ私たち家族を楽しませてくれています。

Every time I come to Hawaii, I make sure to experience horseback riding. My grandchildren never get tired of it, no matter how many times we go. This time, we did encounter a little rain along the way, but I thought it was part of the experience. As we rode through the trees, we eventually reached a breathtaking spot where we could overlook Haleiwa Bay. While I had been feeling nervous about riding until then, my heart opened up completely. In our family, we have decided that Hawaii equals horseback riding, and we plan our schedule around it.

ハワイに来るたびに必ず体験しています。孫ともども何回乗馬しても飽きさせません。今回は途中で少しシャワーにあってしまいましたが、それもありかなっと思いました。木々の間を乗馬しながら突き進み、いつしかハレイワ湾を見渡せる絶景場所に来ると、今までドキドキしながら乗馬していたのに一変で心が開かれました。我が家では、ハワイ＝乗馬と決めて日程を組んでいます。

The car was clean, and the guide provided a lot of information along the way. On the way back, we also toured downtown. We were able to see sea turtles, and the garlic shrimp from the restaurant they recommended was peeled and easy to eat. It was a pity that we had a short time to explore the town of Haleiwa, and I couldn't have Matsumoto Shave Ice. We enjoyed riding the horse for over 40 minutes. The local guide mentioned that the minimum age is 7 years and the height requirement is 4 feet 4 inches, so I was worried about the height, but even smaller children around 120 centimeters were properly adjusted and able to ride.

車もキレイで、ガイドさんが道中たくさんガイドしてくれて、帰り道はダウンタウンも回ってくれました。
ウミガメも見れたし、紹介してもらったお店のガーリックシュリンプは殻をむいてあり食べやすかったです。ハレイワの街の散策時間が短く、マツモトシェーブアイスが食べられなかったのが残念でした。馬はたっぷり40分以上乗れて堪能しました。現地の案内では7歳以上、4フィート4インチ以上書かれていたので身長が足りないと心配しましたが、120センチ程度の小さめな子でもちゃんと調整して乗せてもらっていました。

My wife has experience riding horses at Kualoa Ranch and was determined to go horseback riding when we visited Hawaii. My two grandchildren, aged 7 and 10, were experiencing horseback riding for the first time. Since Kualoa Ranch only allows participants aged 10 and older, we were able to join this tour.

At first, we received instructions on how to handle the horses, but I was worried and anxious about whether the horses would listen to us.

The instructor rode at the front, holding the reins of my 7-year-old grandchild's horse, while each of us handled our own reins for the other horses. Next in line were the horses ridden by my 10-year-old grandchild, my wife, and myself, followed by the horses of four other participants in the tour, and finally the instructor's horse, making a total of ten horses. We rode through the valley for about 75 minutes.

The horses were smart; they stopped when the horse in front stopped and moved forward when it did. We hardly needed to use the reins to guide our horses, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable riding experience with views of the valley and the North Shore ocean occasionally visible.

I want to express my gratitude to my wife, the organizers of this tour, and the staff at the ranch for providing my grandchildren and me with such a memorable experience.

私の家内はクアロラ牧場での乗馬経験が有り、ハワイに行くなら絶対乗馬はしたいとのことでした。私と７歳と１０歳の孫は初めての乗馬体験です。クアロラ牧場は、１０歳以上しか参加できないので今回のツアーに参加させていただきました。

最初は、馬の取扱いについて説明してもっらったのですが、馬がきいてくれるのか心配で不安でした。

インストラクターの方が馬に乗って先頭で、７歳の孫の乗った馬の手綱を持って、後の馬は各自で手綱をひきます（持つ）。次に１０歳の孫の乗った馬、家内の乗った馬、私の乗った馬、後同じツアーに参加された４名の方の馬、最後インストラクターの方の乗った馬の１０頭の編成で渓谷を７５分ぐらい乗馬出来ました。

馬は賢く前の馬が止まれば止まり、進めば同じように進みます。ほとんど手綱を使って自分の馬に指示することなく、渓谷と時折見えるノースショアの海の眺望など、快適な乗馬体験が出来ました。

私も、孫二人も今までにない思い出に残る経験ができたことに、家内と今回のツアーの主催者、牧場の方々に感謝したいと思います。

This was a lot of fun but I think it would have been better if the bus would go to the waterfall and one beach place to allow more time to do activities. Our bus driver was informative but repeated himself alot which did get a little annoying at times.

I think they choose horses according to the skill level, even for small children who have no riding experience. There is no Japanese guide during the ride, but you can learn the basics on the bus. It seems to be more suitable for advanced riders than the seaside course, but this is where you can enjoy the fun of horseback riding.

乗馬経験がなくても、小さな子供でも、スキルに合わせて馬を選んでくれているんだと思います。乗馬中は日本語ガイドはついてくれませんが、大体の基礎はバスの中で教えてもらえます。おそらく海辺のコースよりも上級者向けのようですが、乗馬の楽しさを味わえるのはこちらでしょうか。

I have been to Hawaii several times, but I signed up for this experience because I wanted to try something new.

I wished I had a bit more time in Haleiwa, but next time, I’ll enjoy the town at a leisurely pace! I’m already planning my next trip to Hawaii and looking forward to it.
Horseback riding was fun as I felt like I was giving my own commands, but…
I was a bit surprised when I witnessed a child fall off because the saddle slipped.
My horse bit the back of the horse in front, and that horse kicked with its hind legs! It was quite thrilling.
(I’m glad there were no serious injuries.)

ハレイワと乗馬の体験。
ハレイワの時間が、もう少し欲しかったけれども、次は、ゆっくりハレイワの街を楽しもう！と、次回のハワイ旅行計画を立て楽しんでいます。
乗馬も自分で指示を出して乗馬をしている感じがあり、楽しかったですが…
馬の鞍がズレて子供が落馬をしたのを目撃したので、ちょっとビックリ。
私の馬が前の馬のお尻を噛み、前の馬が後ろ足で蹴り！と、ドキドキもありました。
(おおきな怪我が無かったので良かったです)

I absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide Justin was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. It was fun, interesting and I enjoyed all the stops we went to, especially sunset beach. I highly recommend this tour.

It was disappointing that we couldn't see the sea turtles due to the weather. The horseback riding was great as we could explore along the mountains and the coast. However, since it was a group activity, we couldn't take photos during the ride, and it would have been nice to bring a selfie stick. It was dangerous while moving, but there were a few stops. Although we couldn't take photos during the ride, we were able to take a commemorative photo after it ended.

天候の関係でウミガメが見られなかったのは残念でした。乗馬は山沿いや海沿いなどを散策出来てとてもよかったです。ただ、団体での参加だったので仕方がないかもしれませんが乗馬中の写真を撮れない、撮ってもらえなかったので自撮り棒などを持参すればよかったです。動いている時は危険ですが、何か所か止まる時があったので。乗馬中は無理でしたが乗馬が終了した時に記念写真を撮ってもらえました。

The Japanese driver and guide initially gave a somewhat brusque and intimidating impression during the pickup and at the beginning, but during the horseback riding, they prioritized safety and consulted with the ranch staff, which allowed us to ride with peace of mind. I went with my family on a free plan, and they confirmed our itinerary together. The coastal horseback riding offered a view overlooking the coast from a higher vantage point; although we didn't walk on the sandy beach, the scenery was beautiful.

日本人の運転手兼ガイドさんは、ピックアップ時や最初の方はややぶっきらぼうで怖い印象でしたが、乗馬の際は安全性を重視して牧場の人に意見してくれて安心して乗馬ができました。
フリープランの家族と行きましたが、同行する行程を確認してくれました。
海岸乗馬は、一段高いところから海岸を見下ろしす感じで、砂浜を歩くわけではありませんが眺めはよいです。

This was a very interesting event learning about the different cultures of the islands, The shows they put on where outstanding, our personal guide Rene was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The luau show were great, and the finale of The Breath of Life show is a must see, that was just plain awesome !!

A friendly Japanese guide took us to a ranch, as well as to Dole Plantation and for garlic shrimp. Despite being occasionally distracted by horses grazing, we enjoyed horseback riding, which is not something you can easily experience in the city, and the garlic shrimp with no waiting time was delicious!

I would love to join this guide's tour again!

日本人の気さくなガイドさんが、牧場のほかドールプランテーションやガーリックシュリンプを案内してくれました。
時には草を食む馬に翻弄されながらも、都心ではなかなか体験できない乗馬をでき、待ち時間なしのガーリックシュリンプも美味しかったです！

このガイドさんのツアーは、また参加したいと思います！！

My first horseback riding in Hawaii!
As the tour title suggests, it was very active.
There were flat paths, but also narrow downhill trails,
and quite steep climbs, making it challenging to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
However, since the horses are well-trained, I realized towards the end of the course that if I just relaxed and trusted them,
I could enjoy the ride. After that, I was able to relax and fully enjoy the North Shore. (Yay!)

ハワイで、初めての乗馬！
OPツアータイトルの通り、とてもアクティビティでした。
平坦な道かと思えば、細い道の下り坂有り
結構、急な登坂も有りで周りの景色を見るのが大変でした。
しかし、馬の方が教育されているため、乗る側が身を任せれば
良いのがコース終盤で分かりました。
それからの、乗馬はリラックスできノースショアを
満喫できたました。（ヤッフー）

Kellina, our guide on Oahu, was wonderful. I would love to meet her again next time.

Her interesting talks were filled with rich knowledge, and I truly enjoyed it.

At the Polynesian Cultural Center in the second half, I was impressed by the sincere attitude of the student guides. The newlyweds who accompanied us were brought up on stage, and we enjoyed a fantastic performance that brought tears to our eyes.

I wanted to see the evening show, so at first, I thought about joining a tour that only included the night show. However, when I searched on Veltra, I found a plan that also included island sightseeing, so I chose that one!

We were able to do sightseeing in the morning, and after arriving at the cultural center, we had a lunch buffet. After that, a Japanese student guide showed us around the center, and we got to ride canoes and have a mini experience of the show and hula dancing… and before we knew it, it was time for dinner and the night show.

It was great to enjoy a full day without wasting any time from morning to night! The night show was good, but the guide during the island sightseeing was truly wonderful, so choosing this plan was definitely the right decision!

Since the island sightseeing was in the morning, the places we visited were limited, but I was very satisfied with the breathtaking views of Hanauma Bay, the "What Tree is That?" tree, Dole's ice cream, and Matsumoto's Shave Ice in Haleiwa! We also enjoyed beautiful scenery from the car windows at various points! I recommend this island sightseeing for first-time visitors to Hawaii and for those who want to make effective use of their time!

夜のショーが見てみたくて、最初は夜のショーだけのツアーに参加しようと思いベルトラさんで探したら、島内観光も付いたプランがあり、そちらにしました！

午前中に観光出来て、文化センターに到着後にランチビュッフェ、その後日本の学生ガイドさんがセンター内を案内してくれてカヌーに乗ったり、ショーやフラダンスプチ体験したり…そしてあっという間に夕食&夜のショーでした。
朝から夜まで、丸一日無駄なく楽しめてとても良かったです！
夜のショーも良かったけど、島内観光の時のガイドさんがとても素晴らしい方だったので、このプランにして大正解でした！
島内観光は、午前中なので立ち寄る場所は、限られますがハナウマ湾の絶景、この木なんの木、ドールのアイス、ハレイワの松本シェイブアイスが堪能出来たので大満足！ポイント、ポイントで車窓から美しい景色も堪能出来ました！
島内観光は初ハワイの方、時間を有効に使いたい方におすすめです！

Picked this tour to the north shore due to the choice of activities and since it had pick up from Waikiki. Mike was our guide and informative. Snorkelled at Shark's cove then headed to Waimea Bay for some snorkelling and beach time. Then chose to paddle boarding down the river near Haleiwa instead of kayaking. Ended the tour at Haleiwa. Good tour for the time spent up north and activities you could participate in and p/u provided.

The half-day tour of Oahu felt a bit too packed. The break in Haleiwa was particularly too long. It might have been better to stop at the North Shore beach for a photo opportunity instead. The guide's explanations were smooth and not boring, but I felt a sense of discomfort as the content focused too much on selling products. The Polynesian Cultural Center was excellent. The experiences were satisfying, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

特にハレイワでの休憩は長過ぎる。ノースショアの浜で、降車し撮影タイムを取った方が良かったのではないか？
ガイドの説明は、淀みなく、退屈でなかった、話の内容が商品の売り込みに終始していたので嫌悪感を覚えた。
ポリネシアン文化センターは秀逸。体験も満足でき、十二分に楽しめた。

I participated in a North Shore horseback riding tour. We had about an hour's stay in Haleiwa, including lunchtime, so we couldn't take our time. The horseback riding experience seems to differ from the Japanese style. You ride a horse that matches your body type. The ride takes place near the beach. Since there is a compatibility between the horse and the rider, at first, the horse may be a bit excited and not used to the rider, but as it gets accustomed, it becomes easier to handle. It's good to communicate with the horse by talking to it. Each horse has its own personality; the horse I rode tended to walk on flat paths and strayed from the line in front, but I thought that was just its personality. The supporter leads the way, and we follow at that pace. There was another group with a foreigner who seemed to have an animal allergy and ended up with a swollen face after riding. Those with animal allergies should be cautious. You can't bring too much luggage while riding. You can't take photos with a DSLR camera while riding because the shutter sound can stress the horse. However, it's possible with a smartphone or compact camera, as long as it's small enough to fit in one hand and can be stored in a chest pocket. Since you'll be focusing on riding, you'll likely be able to take photos only after getting used to it. It’s difficult to take still images as they tend to blur.

ノースショアと乗馬ツアーに参加しました。
ハレイワには、1時間程度の滞在です。ランチ時間込みなので、ゆっくりはできません。
乗馬体験は、日本式とは乗馬の仕方が違うようです。
馬のチョイスは、その方の体型に合わせた馬に乗ります。
浜辺近くを乗馬します。馬との相性がありますので、最初は馬も乗る人に慣れなくて、、興奮気味ですが、次第に慣れてくると扱いやすくなります。
馬に声をかけながら、コミュニケーションを取るなどいいでしょう。
馬も其々個性があり、私が乗った馬は、平坦な道を歩こうとするので、前の列からはみ出し歩いていましたが、この馬の個性なんだな、、と思いました。
サポーターの方を先頭に歩きますし、そのペースに後ろからついて行く感じです。
他のグループですが、白人の外国人ですが、動物アレルギーをお持ちの方が乗馬をして、顔が腫れてしまったようです。
動物アレルギーの方は、注意した方がいいかもしれません。
手荷物は、多くを持っての乗馬はできません。
一眼レフカメラ等は乗馬しながらの撮影は出来ません。カメラのシャッター音が馬にストレスを与えるからだそうです。スマホ、コンデジカメラなら可能ですが、乗馬をしながらですから、片手で収まり、胸ポケに入る大きさなら大丈夫です。
乗馬に集中するので、写真が撮れるのはかなり乗馬に慣れてきてから、となりそうです。
ブレますので、静止画は撮れにくいです。
