We participated as a family of six across three generations. My wife and I hadn't been there in ten years, but we went again for our parents and children. The local guide (a Japanese exchange student) was very beautiful with a lovely smile, and her explanations were full of humor, making it enjoyable. The highlight, the night show, has been significantly upgraded compared to ten years ago, and the final fire dance was particularly impressive and worth seeing. I wondered if the Samoan who performed the fire dance was really a student; it was so amazing that I questioned when they had time to study. Before the night show started, my younger daughter got lost for a moment when I took my eyes off her, which was quite stressful. She was found shortly after, but with such a large crowd, it's crucial not to take your eyes off small children.

This was my second time participating, but after 10 years, it felt fresh and I really enjoyed it. The dance from the Tahiti region was particularly energetic and interesting. The seating was standard, but thanks to your company, I had a reservation in the row right next to the Ambassador section, which made it easy to see!

I thought it would be a dinner show since it was titled "Polynesian Cultural Center Dinner Show," but in reality, we had to eat a buffet-style meal at a restaurant-like place first, and then go to see the show afterward. I felt that the food might not suit Japanese tastes.
The show was divided into two parts, featuring hula dancing and fire dancing, which were quite impressive and very enjoyable. If I were to go again, I would just want to see the show.

I was torn between choosing the Deluxe course or the Standard course. I had heard that the differences were the seating location for the show and the meals.
This time, I boldly opted for the Deluxe. The seats were indeed towards the front (row G, which is the 7th row from the front), but since the stadium is shaped like a bowl, I didn't think it would be impossible to see from the back.
The meals for both courses were the same (buffet). There was an all-you-can-eat selection of crab, roast beef, and I ended up quite full. The difference was a large ice cream served inside a split pineapple during the show. If you’re already full from the buffet, I thought the ice cream wasn’t necessary.
In conclusion, I think the Standard would have been better for me. Instead, I should have chosen a lunch course in addition to the dinner and show package, as there are interesting experiences like fire-starting activities available.

席は確かに前の方でしたが（Ｇ列なので前から７列目）、野球場のように
すり鉢形のスタジアムなので、後ろでも見えないということはないと思いました。
食事はどちらのコースも同じでした（バイキング）。
カニ、ローストビーフなど食べ放題であり、お腹一杯になりました。
違いは、ショウの間に、パイナップルを割った中に提供される大きなアイスクリームです。
バイキングでお腹一杯であれば、アイスクリームはなくてもよいと思いました。
結論は、私の場合はスタンダードが良かったと思います。
その代わりに、ディナーとショウのコースだけでなく、昼のコースを選べば良かったと
思いました。火を起こす体験など、面白そうな企画があるので…。

I made the reservation for my father and mother who accompanied me. (My children and I were on a separate schedule.) At the destination, there was a counter at the hotel where we stayed, and they kindly assisted us, allowing my elderly father and mother to join the tour with peace of mind. Since we left the hotel around noon, I planned to finish my errands in the morning before joining, but I ended up cutting it close to the meeting time. I was really panicking. Fortunately, the shuttle bus was a bit late, which helped a lot. Taking a taxi to the Polynesian Cultural Center would have been quite expensive...
After arriving, a guide accompanied us around the park. Since I participated in the deluxe course, there were fewer people in the group, making it easier to hear the explanations. We learned hula, got stamp tattoos, and tried some taro dishes, although they weren't very tasty.
Dinner was a buffet. The food was just okay. The most impressive part was definitely the show! It was incredibly powerful, and although the show itself was quite long, I never got bored. On the bus ride there, the Japanese guide shared various stories, creating a bit of a sightseeing atmosphere. When we arrived at the cultural center, we split into groups to explore.
The performances and talks in the Samoan village were enjoyable even for someone like me who doesn't understand English. If you sit in the front row, you'll be pulled onto the stage, so feel free to do that if you want to stand out. I watched the IMAX show, which was somewhat interesting regarding dolphin behavior, but it felt like something you could skip.
The evening show exceeded all expectations. It's understandable that many people come to see it, even if it takes them an hour and a half to get there. I had a front-row seat in the deluxe course, which made it even more impressive.

I had been to the Polynesian Cultural Center several times, but since it was my friend's first visit, I definitely wanted to show it to them, so I took them along. If you're short on time, you might end up going to a show in Waikiki, but this place is absolutely worth taking the time to visit. It's amazing no matter how many times you see it. My friend was completely captivated and said they were glad we came. I definitely recommend it to anyone I know who is going to Hawaii.

The food was a buffet. There were quite a variety of options, and the desserts were plentiful. The taste was just okay, though.
We had seats fairly close to the stage. By the way, we participated in the deluxe option. The evening show was more amazing than I had imagined, and there was hardly any time to rest while watching. Just when I thought that, there was an intermission, and I quickly went to get the dessert voucher that had been distributed earlier. To my surprise, what I received was a bowl made from a halved pineapple filled to the brim with ice cream. Plus, it was one for each person. It was delicious, but I still couldn’t finish it...
Since it was an outdoor show, the scale was large, and there were quite a few performers. The fire dance was impressive and definitely worth watching. I highly recommend going at least once. Although the Polynesian Cultural Center is quite far, I slept soundly on the bus ride back. If I go to Hawaii again, I want to see that show once more!

I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center because I thought it was important to learn about history. I expected it to be mostly shows, but the facilities were well-equipped, and I was surprised at how well everything was recreated. It felt similar to Nikko Edo Wonderland in Japan. I gained a good understanding of Hawaii's history, which is not something you can easily learn about nowadays.

やっぱり歴史も学ばないとね～ってことでポリネシアン文化センターに行ってきました。行くまではショーばかりのものかとおもったら施設も充実しており、これほどまでに再現されているとは思いませんでしたね。日本でいう日光江戸村のような感じですか。現在ではあまり知ることの出来ないハワイの歴史が良くわかりました。
食事の方はというとバイキングではめずらしく、これが意外と美味しかったです。
海老や魚といった類が大変美味しくそれだけでお腹がいっぱいになりそう。デザートも充実していましたので相方は喜んでいました。 そしてメインのショウをはじめて見ましたが、舞台に大人数のキャストが出てきて、フラやファイヤーダンスなど多様なダンスショー等なかなかの迫力でした。席の場所もスタンダードコースということでちょっと心配でしたが舞台が大きく登場メンバーも多かったので十分に満喫できるものでした。
ただワイキキからは遠かったので帰りは大分眠くなりましたね、、
ハワイに来たという実感をすぐにでも体験したいならここは良いかもしれません。
