Our honeymoon in Hawaii was our first trip together! I wanted to do something different from everyone else, and while browsing a website, I discovered skydiving! My husband loves heights and attractions like those at Fuji-Q Highland, but I can't handle heights or rides... However, I read on various sites that it doesn't give you that stomach-dropping feeling like rides do, so I decided to give it a try!

In reality, I didn't experience that stomach-dropping sensation! But I really struggled to breathe, which was tough, haha. I could use a bit more advice on how to breathe during the jump!

Also, another photographer offers videos and photos for an additional fee! I highly recommend this! It's about 20,000 yen, but having someone jump with me made me feel more at ease.

I chose the 4,200-meter jump this time, but it was higher than I expected, haha. If you're unsure, I think starting with the 2,100-meter jump would be a good idea!

新婚旅行で初めてのハワイ！
何かみんなと違う事をしたくて、
サイトを見ていたらスカイダイビングを発見！
夫は高いところも、富士急のアトラクションも好きですが、私は高いところもアトラクションも無理で、、、
でもいろんなサイトをみてアトラクションに乗った時のように胃が浮く感覚はない！と書いていたので挑戦しました！

実際に胃の浮く感覚はありませんでした！
が、息が出来なくてホントにキツかったです笑
もう少し息の仕方のアドバイスが欲しいですw

あと、別のカメラマンさんが動画、写真を別料金で撮ってくれます！
これはおススメです！
約2万円くらいなんですが、私は一緒に飛ぶ人がいたから安心して飛べたのもあります。

今回4200メートルの方を選びましたが、、
予想以上に高いですw
迷われているなら2100メートルにまずは挑戦！ってのも良いかと思います！

This was a trip to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. We signed up for a tour to fulfill her long-expressed wish to try skydiving. The tour allowed for up to two observers, but when I emailed to say that I wanted all three sisters to be there to support her, they kindly made an exception just for us.

On the morning of the event, we took the shuttle bus to the location. Upon arrival, the company had prepared a birthday card, a red T-shirt for the 60th birthday, and red flowers. The guide introduced my mother to the instructor and explained that it was her birthday, and they congratulated her with words and a card message, even taking photos together.

Watching my mother skydiving, she looked happier than I had ever seen her before, and it truly became a wonderful memory. There are many tour companies and plans available, but I felt really glad to have chosen this one. It became a very, very special family memory. Thank you!

今回は母の還暦のお祝い旅行でした。
前々から言ってた「スカイダイビングやってみたい」を叶えるためにツアーに申し込みました。
ツアーには見学者は2名までとなっていましたが、私は3姉妹でみんなで見守りたいとメールをすると今回だけは…と臨機応変に対応していただけました。
当日の朝お迎えのバスに乗りいざ現地に。
到着すると会社のはからいでバースデーカードと還暦だけに赤いTシャツ、赤いお花を用意してくれていました。
ガイドさんが母とインストラクターさん1人1人を周り、お誕生日であることを説明してくれるとおめでとうの言葉とカードにメッセージ、一緒に写真を撮ってくれました。
スカイダイビングをする母を見ていると、今までに見たことのないほど楽しそうで、本当にいい思い出になりました。
いろんなツアー会社やプランがありますが、このツアー会社を選んで本当に良かったと思いました。
とっても、とってもいい家族の思い出になりました。
ありがとうございました。

I finally experienced skydiving, which I had been longing to do for a long time. They picked me up near the hotel before 5 AM, and I was shown a video and had to fill out some paperwork. The contents of the paperwork felt a bit intimidating, but when I got to the site, there were plenty of instructors, and everything felt completely normal! My assigned instructor was very friendly and helped me relax despite my nerves. When I jumped from the Cessna at 14,000 feet, I was really scared. But more than that, I was amazed by the breathtaking views! I'm really glad I went skydiving. I highly recommend it to anyone who has even a slight interest!

ずっと念願だったスカイダイビングを経験しました。早朝5時前にホテルの近くに送迎をしてくれたのですが、書類記入とビデオを見せられました。書類に書いてあることは脅しのような内容でこわかったですが、、笑 現地へ行ってみると、インストラクターの方たちがたくさんいて全然普通でした！！担当のインストラクターの方もすごく気さくで、ドキドキしていた私をリラックスさせてくれました♪セスナに乗って14,000ftからのダイブする時は本当にこわかったです。でもそれ以上に絶景を見下ろして感激しました！！本当にスカイダイビング をして良かったです☆少しでも興味ある方はオススメです！！

As a first time sky diver, I had an amazing experience! I felt completely comfortable knowing my tandem partner had 19 years of experience! Definitely will be sky diving again !

When I fell from the sky, I could see all of Hawaii.
It truly felt like I was falling.
Once the parachute opened, it was like being on an attraction, spinning around and it was incredibly fun.

I was really nervous until I took off, but once I stepped out, it was simply the best! Everything else became unimportant. The instructor was friendly and funny, and I had an amazing experience!

It was my first time skydiving, and the instructor was entertaining, making it an exciting experience! Going in the early morning allows you to return by noon, which is also appealing as it leaves plenty of time in the afternoon.

I signed up with my son.
It's definitely worth it to fly while enjoying the beautiful sky and sea of Hawaii!
Rather than being scared, I was excited to experience the thrill as soon as possible.
It depends on the instructor and the cameraman, but they entertained us, and the video and photos turned out beautifully.
I don't think it's an expensive purchase for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'm really glad I had this opportunity.
There are few coin lockers, so you need to arrive early.
You can exchange a one-dollar bill for coins at the vending machine to rent one.
You can check the footage on the spot and decide whether to buy it!

息子を誘って申し込みしました。
ハワイの綺麗な空と海を眺めながら飛べて絶対やる価値あります！
怖いというより早く感動を味わいたくてわくわくしました。
インストラクターとカメラマンにもよりますが自分達は楽しませてくれてビデオと写真も綺麗に撮れていました。
一生に一度 高い買い物ではないと思います。いい体験できて本当によかったです。
コインロッカーが少なくて早めに入れないとだめですね。
1ドル紙幣を両替機でコインに変えて借りる感じです。
ビデオはその場で写りを確認して買うかを決められます！

I can't forget the beautiful view of the sunrise and the sparkling North Shore that I saw while skydiving! I smile every day while looking at the photos! Haha. Before jumping, you can choose whether to have no filming, use a GoPro, or hire a photographer. I requested to use a GoPro. You can decide whether to purchase the video after seeing what was filmed. The instructor constantly takes photos and videos, which really boosts your excitement and enhances communication, so I highly recommend it! After skydiving, there is a notebook where you can leave a message for the instructor. It's a shame I couldn't express myself well in English. Some people might feel anxious about the content of the waiver you sign in the car, but let's just forget about it! It's guaranteed to be an amazing experience!!

私はGoProでの撮影をお願いしました。動画に関しては撮影したものを見てから購入するかどうか決められます。
インストラクターの方が常に写真や動画を撮ってくれていてテンションもさらにあげてもらえるしコミュニケーションもより取れるので本当におすすめです！
スカイダイビング後、インストラクターの方にメッセージを残すノートが置いてあります。英語だとうまく伝えられなかったのが残念でした。
移動の車中でサインする誓約書の内容に不安になる方もいるかと思いますが…きっぱり忘れちゃいましょう！
最高の経験になること間違いなしです！！

The main purpose of this trip to Hawaii was to go skydiving. I participated alone, but my excitement outweighed my anxiety, and I had high expectations even before the departure. The weather was clear on the day, and the views were amazing! The dive exceeded my expectations. My tandem partner Connor and the photographer Kira were both fantastic! I also had a great conversation with the driver during the transfer, which made me very satisfied! I definitely want to experience this again!

今回のハワイ旅行の一番の目的がスカイダイビングをする事でした。一人での参加でしたが不安よりワクワク感の方が大きく出発前から期待してました。当日は晴れて景色も最高！期待以上のダイビングでした。タンデムのConnor 、撮影してくれたKira　二人ともサイコー♡　送迎のドライバーとも楽しい会話ができて大満足です！また絶対体験したいと思います♪

I never thought I would go skydiving in my lifetime, but unexpectedly experienced it on my honeymoon. Once you're on the Cessna, there's nothing left to do but jump out. The quick aerial stroll became an invaluable memory. While it mentions to bring less cash, there are lockers available, so it's better to bring plenty of tips for the instructors and photographers.

スカイダイビングは生涯することないと思ってたのに、まさかのハネムーンで体験。セスナに乗ってしまえば、あとは飛び降りるしかない。あっという間の空中散歩はかけがえのない思い出となりました。少なめの現金、とありますが、ロッカーあるのでインストラクターやカメラマンに渡すチップをしっかりたっぷり持って行った方が良いです。

I made a reservation for what I thought would be my first and last activity. Last year, it was canceled due to bad weather, but this year I was able to fly!

As mentioned in the reviews, we had to fill out a consent form on the shuttle bus. I was originally worried about getting motion sickness, and unfortunately, I was right. I experienced continuous nausea... At one point, I even considered giving up on flying.

Once we arrived, we started in groups of about six, so we had to wait for about an hour after arriving. Depending on the number of participants, there was time to fill out the consent form after arrival, which made me a little irritated since I was already feeling unwell.

Fortunately, by the time we started, I had recovered enough to go. At first, I felt a mix of excitement and fear, but while flying, there were some dizzying turns, and by the time we returned to the ground, I felt groggy again...

Since I had decided this would be my first and last time, I purchased both 35 photos and a video. I’m glad I did because my memories of the flight are a bit hazy.

人生最初で最後のアクティビティーと思い予約しました。
去年は天候不良でキャンセルとなりましたが、今年は翔べました！

口コミでもあったように、同意書を送迎バスの中で書かされるのですが、
わたしは、もともと酔いやすく嫌だナァーと思っていたのでが、
やはり駄目でした。リバースの連続。。。
今回は翔ぶことをあきらめようかと思うくらい。
現地に到着してからは、6名ずつくらい順番にスタートするので、
到着後、約1時間くらいは待たせれます。
参加人数にもよりますが、到着後に同意書を書く時間があり、
気分悪くさせられたことに、ちょっとだけイライラしました。

おかげさまでスタートするまでに体調が回復し、スタートできました。
最初は、わくわく＆恐怖＆わくわくが続くのですが、
翔ぶとまた、酔う旋回があるので、地上に戻ってきた頃にはまたグロッキーな状態に。。。

わたしは、最初で最後と決めていたので写真35枚、ビデオの両方を購入しました。
翔んでいるときの記憶が定かではないので、購入してよかったと思っています。

三半規管が弱い方は、ある程度覚悟して体験してください。

It was my first time skydiving, and I think everyone should try it at least once because it's a sensation you can't experience in everyday life. The moment you jump is so high that there’s no fear at all. It doesn’t feel like a roller coaster, so even those who are not good with heights can do it!

Once the parachute opens, you get to enjoy floating in the air, and the instructor makes it fun by guiding you through descents and spins. Although it’s an early morning activity, I recommend the first tour of the day considering the weather, temperature, and crowds!

In Japan, skydiving without photos costs over 30,000 yen and the altitude is lower. In Hawaii, you can dive from 4,260 meters for around 20,000 yen, so I highly recommend it!

人生初のスカイダイビングでしたが、普段味わえない感覚ができ一度はやってみた方がいいと思います。
飛ぶ瞬間もあまりに高すぎて怖さは全くありませんでした。ジェットコースターのような浮く感じもなく苦手な方でもできると思います！
パラシュートが開いてからの空中遊泳もインストラクターの方が降下やぐるぐるまわしたりして楽しませてくれます。
朝は早いですが、天候や気温、混雑を考えると朝一のツアーがオススメです！
日本で飛ぶと撮影なしで３万以上するうえに高度も低いです。ハワイですと4260メートルからのダイブで２万前後なのでオススメです。

The staff were very fun, and I enjoyed the hamburger for lunch. It was a bit tough because it was cold, but I was really helped by the warm cocoa they provided. The bus ride back was very cold because I was still wet, so I wish I had brought a change of clothes or a towel. Even if my luggage increased, it wouldn't have been a problem since I could leave it on the boat. They also took a lot of photos, so I made some great memories!

スタッフの皆さんとても楽しい方で、ランチのハンバーガーも美味しく頂きました。寒かったのが少し辛かったですが、温かいココアを用意してくださりとても助かりました。帰りのバスは濡れたままでとても寒かったので、もう少し着替えやタオルを持っていけば良かったです。荷物増えても、どうせ船に置いておけれるので問題なかったなと、。
沢山写真も撮ってくださったので、良い思い出ができました！

Without a moment to feel fear, I jumped out, and then it was just a matter of falling as if swimming through the sky. It's a feeling that can't be compared to anything else. It's exhilarating. It's definitely worth trying at least once.

恐怖を感じる暇もなく飛び出し、後は空を泳ぐ様に落ちるだけ。他に例えようのない感じ。爽快です。一度はやってみる価値あり。

I experienced a height of over 4,000 meters for the first time while skydiving. It changed my perspective on life. The gentleman who provided the shuttle service from Pacific Skydiving School added a nice touch to the experience, which was great.

高度4,000メートル超えの体験を、初めてのスカイダイビングで経験しました。

I attended my niece's wedding and joined three young-at-heart ladies. Even though I call them ladies, they are seniors, starting from 60! On top of that, none of us could speak English, but we managed just fine. The instructor was assigned to us and was friendly in an American way, trying to keep the mood lively (laughs).

When it was our turn, we boarded the plane (a Cessna?) and took off, but fortunately or unfortunately, I was seated by the door. The door was left open during the ascent, which was the scariest part! As we climbed, the ground below shrank rapidly (maybe we turned), and it was just the sea, yet we kept rising and could see the horizon! My legs went weak, and I was so scared that I instinctively closed my eyes. It seemed like the people in the back didn't have that experience.

During the dive, I left everything to a cautious young man with blue eyes (laughs). When we were falling, it felt like floating and was fun! However, after the parachute opened, perhaps for the sake of service, he started spinning us around, and since I'm sensitive to motion, I completely felt sick.

When I mentioned I was feeling sick (with gestures), he adjusted things, but it still shook until we reached the landing spot, so those who are sensitive to motion will definitely feel unwell.

But it was a valuable experience! I'm glad I did it! It was fun!!

姪の結婚式に行ったついでに気の若いオバサン3人で参加
オバサンって言ったって60を筆頭にしたシニアですよ！おまけに英語も全く話せないけど何とかなります。インストラクターは割り当てられていて盛り上げようとアメリカ式に友好的です（笑）

順番が来て飛行機（セスナ？）に乗り込み離陸しますが幸か不幸か座った場所がドアの所でした。ドアは開けたままの上昇でこれが一番怖かった！どんどん足元の地上が小さくなって（旋回したのか）海だけになって、それでも上昇して地平線が見えてくるんです！足がすくんで怖くて思わず目を瞑りました。後ろの席の人はそれはなかったみたいです。

ダイビングは青い目の慎重なお兄ちゃんの成すがままでした（笑）
落ちてる時は浮いてる感じで楽しかった！でもパラシュートが開いてからはサービスのためか振り回してくれるのですが乗り物に弱い私は完全に気持悪くなってしまいました。

気持悪い（手ぶり）と言うと加減してくれますが着陸地点まではやはり揺れるので乗り物に弱い人は気持悪くなるのは必須です。

でも、貴重な経験でした！　やって良かった！楽しかった！！

This was my first time in Hawaii, and also my first time skydiving. My instructor, Jamie, was very kind and always made it fun; I really enjoyed it. He explained everything clearly, including where we were at any given moment. I definitely want to come back to Hawaii and try skydiving again! I would be happy if Jamie could be my instructor again!

ハワイに来るのは初めてで、尚且つスカイダイビングも初めての僕に優しくしてくれたのが、インストラクターのジャーミーさんでした。とても親切で常に楽しませてくれて本当に楽しかったです。今どの地点にいるなど、説明も分かりやすく教えてくれました。ハワイはまた是非来たいと思い、スカイダイビングもしたいです‼︎その際もジャーミーさんだと嬉しいです‼︎

It was amazing! Right before diving, my legs wouldn't stop shaking, but once I jumped in, I just went with the flow. It was the best experience (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵). I'm going to challenge myself for the second time in three days.

I just wish I had known in advance that I needed a dollar for the locker and that the photo and video options could be applied for and paid on the day. The driver who told me that I could settle the payment at the hotel was really kind.

すっごくよかった！
ダイビング直前は脚の震えが止まらなかったけど落ちたら後はなすがまま。最高の体験でした(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) 3日後に2回目をチャレンジ。
ただロッカーに1ドル必要なことや、写真ビデオオプション申込&支払いが当日可能なことを事前に知りたかった。ホテル精算でもOKと教えてくれたドライバーが凄く親切。

My first skydiving experience!
Since it was an early morning plan, we gathered at dawn. I was a bit worried because it was a local tour, but I felt reassured when I could watch a Japanese video in the car during the transfer.
When we arrived at the venue, the local instructor explained everything in English. They said we would be called when it was our turn.

While waiting to be called, I had breakfast from a food truck nearby. The muffin was very delicious.

No matter how long I waited, I wasn't called.
Before I knew it, I had been waiting for about 5 hours.

I wondered why it was taking so long.
The local operation was a bit disorganized, and they were guiding customers who arrived later before us.
No wonder I wasn't called...

I guess that's just part of the national character, so there's nothing to be done about it. Hmm.

Finally, I was called, so I gathered my spirits.
I put on the harness, and it was time for the rehearsal.
After practicing a few times on the ground, we boarded a small plane.

In about 10 minutes, we quickly reached an altitude of 4,000 meters!
If you're sensitive to changes in air pressure, make sure to remember to equalize your ears.

With the skilled instructors, I was thrown into the sky without a moment's hesitation to jump from the plane. Haha!

During the free fall, I was so focused on breathing that enjoying the scenery was secondary!

Once the parachute opened, the beautiful scenery of Hawaii finally came into view.
The sky is blue.
The ocean is blue.
I was simply moved.

The instructor explained the scenery while we were circling.
I'm glad my first skydiving experience was in Hawaii.
The local operation was a bit disorganized, so I would rate it a -1, but other than that, there were no problems at all.

人生初めてのスカイダイビング！
朝一のプランだったので早朝に集合。現地のツアーということで少し心配だったのですが、移動の車内で日本語のビデオが見られて安心でした。
会場についたら、現地のインストラクターさんが英語で説明をしてくれました。
順番が来たら呼ばれるとのこと。

呼ばれるのを待ちながら、横にある移動販売車で朝ごはん。
マフィンがとてもおいしかったです。

待てど暮せど呼ばれない。
気が付いたらもう5時間くらい待っています。

なんでこんなに時間がかかるのか。
現地の運営が適当で、後から来たお客さんを先に案内していたからです。
そりゃ呼ばれないわ・・・

それはもう国民性ということで、仕方ない、のでしょうか。うーん。

やっと呼ばれたので、気を取り直して。
ハーネスを装着して、いよいよリハーサル。
地上で何度か練習をして、小型飛行機に乗り込みます。

10分程度であっという間に上空4000mへ！
気圧変化に弱い方は、耳抜きするのを忘れないようにしたほうがいいかも

手慣れたインストラクターさんたちの手によって、
飛行機から飛び降りるのを躊躇する間もなく空に放り出されます。笑

フリーフォールの間は、息をするのに必死で、
景色を楽しむのは二の次！

パラシュートが開いてから、やっとハワイの美しい景色が視界に飛び込んできました。
空が青い
海も青い
ただただ、感動です。

インストラクターさんが、旋回しながら景色の説明をしてくれました。
人生初のスカイダイビングがハワイでよかったです。
現地運営の方が適当だったので-1ですが、そこ以外は全く問題ありませんでした。

Even though I changed my plans two days before the event on my own accord, they responded quickly to my questions, and I was able to participate in the activities with peace of mind on the day!

自分の勝手で当日の2日前に変更したのに、質問にも迅速に対応してくださり、当日は安心してアクティビティに参加することができました！

I ended up being in the first group to board the plane, and I was really nervous. Mark made jokes and held my hand, which helped me relax. The free fall wasn't scary at all, and it was really fun! Since I was one of the first to jump, I was back at the hotel by 11 o'clock and was able to enjoy some shopping afterward.

I do regret a little that it wasn't that expensive, so I wish I had asked for some photos.

まさかの第１陣で飛行機に乗ることになり緊張しまくりでした。
セスナでガチガチの私にマークが冗談を言ったり、手を握ってくれたりして、リラックスする事ができました。
フリーホールは全然こわくなかったし、本当に楽しかったです♪
1番初めに飛んだので、11時にはホテルに戻れてその後のショッピングも楽しめました。

ただそんなに高くなかったので、写真をお願いすればよかったなぁっと少し後悔しました。

It was a bit scary, but it felt good. It was a little expensive, but I also requested photos and videos ($230). The angles are hard to capture, so I recommend it. If I have the chance, I think I'll try again.

少し怖さもありましたが、気持ちよかったです。
少し高いですが写真&動画もお願いしました（$230）なかなか撮れないアングルなのでおススメです。
また、機会があれば再チャレンジしようと思います

Diving at 63 years old was amazing, the movie was great, and the instructor really pumped up the energy with big jokes. Seeing Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from 14,000 feet was the best view of Oahu. There is an age limit, so I want to dive again.

63歳のダイビング最高、ムービー最高、インストラクターがビッグジョークでテンションアップしてくれました、ダイヤモンドヘッド、ワイキキビーチを14000フィートから見たオアフ島最高です、年齢制限があるのでもう一度ダイビングしたいです。

I signed up for 2100m, but when it came time to jump, it somehow turned into 4200m. (laughs) Of course, I was charged an extra fee, which left me a bit frustrated. However, it was a good experience and I had fun! ^^

2100ｍで申し込みましたが、いざ飛ぶとなぜか4200ｍになってました。（笑）
もちろん追加料金も取られましたし、少しモヤモヤ。
でもいい経験になりましたし、楽しかったです^^

It was my first experience, and it was incredibly fun!! The 4000 meters were scary, but the instructor was so enjoyable that the fear just disappeared!! I want to do it again next time I go!
