During the company trip, everyone said they were going to Kailua, but I really wanted to go horseback riding, so I participated alone. But it was so much fun! At Dole Plantation, I enjoyed freshly squeezed pineapple juice and was very satisfied! Then, I went to Haleiwa Town and savored garlic shrimp! At a restaurant recommended by the guide, it was the most plump and delicious garlic shrimp I've ever had! After that, we headed to the North Shore, passing by the Triple Crown (surfing competition). Finally, it was horseback riding time! I was able to truly enjoy the scenery and riding!

The guide was very nice, and to avoid traffic from the Triple Crown, we took a different route back, stopping by a macadamia nut factory along the way. There, I bought macadamia nut butter and incredibly fresh macadamia nuts!

I really enjoyed it!!!!!

社員旅行に行った際、皆、カイルアに行くと言うことで、私一人どうしても乗馬をしたく、一人寂しく参加しました。

そして、ガイドさんがとても良い方で、トリプルクラウンによる渋滞を避けるため、別ルートで帰路に向かったのですが、途中、マカデミアンナッツ工場に立ち寄ってくださいました。
そこで、マカデミアンナッツバター、すごくフレッシュなマカデミアンナッツを購入!

I had fun hiking to the waterfall and going swimming but the water was freeeezing!! I felt like the first time I did this activity we had a lot more time. I was able to snorkel, eat, stand up paddle and walk the town. This time I felt like going to the nut farm wasted a lot of time to do the activities. That part should be taken out and the time should go towards the actual activities. But all in all is was fun.

Since I participated in the Thanksgiving Day tour, it was disappointing that most of the shops in Haleiwa and the garlic shrimp food stalls were closed, and I couldn't visit the places I wanted to. However, I switched my mindset and decided to try again next time, and we set off for horseback riding.

The horse I rode was a bit of a troublemaker, and during the tour, when other horses approached, it suddenly took off running and raised its front legs towards them. I almost got thrown off, but the staff quickly intervened, so it ended well, although I was a bit flustered.

The guide who drove and guided us throughout the day was very nice, and he explained things clearly and humorously at each location, which made the participants feel relaxed. He really wanted us to see sea turtles, so we stopped at several spots, and we were able to see five sea turtles up close at the last location. 途中インストラクターさんが写真撮影もしてくれるし、ビーチの説明もしてくれるので終始ここちいい風をあびながら乗馬できました。

帰り道は渋滞状況に応じてルート変更があるとのことで、この時は来た道ではないルートを通ってくれていろんな景色を見ることができラッキーでした。

I had been wanting to go horseback riding in Hawaii. At first, I was a bit nervous about horseback riding, but the horses were used to it, so they all lined up nicely and walked leisurely, making it enjoyable even for a first-timer like me. I wanted to take a video, but I had to give up since I couldn't let go of the reins. However, others were taking pictures. I think photos from the horse's back would be a rare capture.

The coastal route was truly amazing, with beautiful scenery that felt very Hawaiian and refreshing. While the lush greens of Kualoa's nature are beautiful, I thought the blue of Hawaii's ocean was even better. I would love to repeat this experience if I have the chance again.

もっと時間に余裕があったら尚良かったですが、とりあえず満足でした。
乗馬は、最初は少しビビってしまいましたが、慣れている馬達なので、みんなお利口に1列になってのんびりと歩いてくれて、初めての私にも楽しめました。
ムービーを撮りたかったのですが、さすがに手綱から手が離せなかったため断念しましたが、他の方は撮っていました。馬の上からのビューなんて貴重な写真だと思います。
海沿いを歩くコースも景色が本当に最高で、ハワイらしく、気持ち良かったです。
クアロアの大自然のグリーンもきれいでしょうが、ハワイの海のブルーの方が良かったと思いました。
また機会があったらリピートしたいです。

Last year, I participated in a tour with VELTRA during my trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, and it was so great that I decided to book again this time. At the request of my friend who accompanied me, we chose horseback riding. Since I had already experienced horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, we opted for the beach horseback riding this time. I was told that beach horseback riding is recommended during this season as it is less affected by the weather compared to valley riding. On the way there, it started to rain, which made me worry, but while we were outside, we didn't need to use umbrellas and were able to fully enjoy the horseback riding. We even got to see sea turtles. Unlike the horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, there isn't a place to store your belongings, so it's recommended to carry a bag for valuables that you can take with you while riding. この季節は渓谷乗馬より海辺乗馬が天候に左右されづらくお勧めとのこと。行きの車の中では雨が降ってきて心配しましたが、外に出ている間は傘をさすこともなく、乗馬も満喫できました。

クアロアランチの乗馬と違って、荷物を預けるところがないので、貴重品バッグは乗馬しながら持てるものがお勧めです。

I got caught in a huge traffic jam, but it turned out to be a satisfying tour. I felt that it would have been nice if we had about 30 more minutes at the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa Town. Although I couldn't see any sea turtles at Alii Beach, I was glad to encounter one during the horseback riding experience. Perhaps because of the heavy traffic? The horseback riding was a private experience for my husband and me, which was really lucky. The horses were calm, so I felt safe riding them, and the time flew by. If I have the chance, I would like to join this tour again.

いざ、お馬さんに乗り渓谷へ✨日本でも乗馬は出来ますが一緒に渓谷を登り下りてワイメアを一望できるのは比になりません。

帰り再びハレイワタウンへ…ガーリックシュリンプを食べて、ヴィンテージコーヒーを購入してアリイビーチで亀さんを少し見て帰ってきました✨

ハワイ旅行自体金額が高いしツアーも高いですが価値があるものと私は思います。

Kazu-san, a Japanese guide, joyfully showed us various attractions in Honolulu from the car window from the start of our trip. After a restroom break at the Dole Plantation, we enjoyed delicious, plump garlic shrimp at Giovanni's Shrimp Truck in Haleiwa, which Kazu-san had reserved for us. After that, we went shopping at Happy Haleiwa and the Snoopy Surf Shop in Haleiwa. Kazu-san kindly explained how to ride a horse during our travels, so there were no issues with the English instructions for horseback riding. Twelve of us rode in a line through the woods and along the beach. We were able to enjoy horseback riding while being blown by the pleasant sea breeze and taking in the beautiful coastline. On the way back, we drove along the east coast to avoid traffic. We passed by Kualoa Ranch and took a coffee break at a Kona coffee farm. I received explanations in Japanese from our guide, Kaz, about how to ride and the names and personalities of the horses, so even as a beginner, I was able to comfortably see many turtles swimming from horseback. On the way back, we avoided traffic by returning via the Kualoa area, allowing us to see the magnificent scenery and landmarks, and we also stopped by a macadamia nut farm. Kaz introduced us to downtown Waikiki, murals, and Ala Moana Beach from the car window, providing great value for the price. Kaz, our guide, was very accommodating to my elderly father, who has difficulty walking, and I found him to be much more polite and kind than other reviews suggested. For those who want to leisurely enjoy exploring Haleiwa, I recommend avoiding crowded days and opting for a tour focused solely on the town.

There were also others who brought their own horses and some who were swimming in the sea.
