Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Waimea Valley Luau!
The pre activities were so fun; my son (23 years old) participated in the coconut opening and the palm head cover. He totally embraced the moment.
The area was beautiful! We did the falls and the gardens first.
The drinks were quite festive, and the food was awesome.
The “show” was engaging; I loved the music and dance. And, the fire was very impressive!
I would highly recommend this experience!

The probability of sandbars appearing due to rising sea levels and typhoon effects was very low. The water level was up to our waists.
Some people were able to swim with sea turtles while snorkeling, which was a lot of fun.
The hamburgers for lunch were excellent.

海水位上昇と台風の影響でサンドバーが出る確率とても低いとの事でした。私たちは腰ぐらいまで水位がありました。
シュノーケルは海亀と泳げた人もいてとても楽しかったです。
お昼のハンバーガーは最高でした。

I was a little late, but it was helpful that the boat hadn't left yet.
It was the last flight in the evening, but it took a long time to get through the city traffic. Please be careful.
The flight was a lot of fun, but you will be dropped into the sea once before landing, so make sure to wear a swimsuit.

時間に少し遅れてしまいましたがボートが出る前だったので助かりました。
夕方最後のフライトでしたが市内の渋滞で移動にとても時間がかかりました。ご注意下さい。
フライトはとても楽しかったですが着地前に海に一回落とされますので水着必着です。

The snorkeling in the early morning had high water clarity and was very good. A seal also appeared and was very cute. By the time we were leaving, the sand was stirred up and it was a bit murky, so it was great to go in the morning.

Snorkeling equipment was included in the rental, but there was a mishap where the driver forgot to hand it to us. The entrance fee is paid collectively by the representative, so only cash is accepted. Please be aware of this.

朝一番でのシュノーケルで水の透明度が高くとても良かったです。アザラシも現れてとても可愛いかったです。
帰るころには砂が舞って少し濁っていたので朝一にしてとても良かったです。
シュノーケル等レンタルがついていましたが運転手さんが私達に渡し忘れるハプニングもありました。
入場料はまとめて代表者が払うので現金のみしかダメでした。ご注意下さい。

I left my hotel near Waikiki at 6:30 AM to meet at the location by 8:30 AM. I thought the shuttle service was a bit expensive, so I took an Uber taxi instead (it cost about 8,000 yen one way).

I arrived at the location in about an hour. It was mentioned that there would be a restroom, but there was no toilet paper and it was extremely dirty, so please keep that in mind when using the facilities. (laughs)

There were a total of 12 members in our group. Before boarding the boat, we had to take off our shoes. Since all shoes can be placed together in a basket, I recommend wearing sandals or something that you don’t mind getting dirty.

After reading reviews from others, I took motion sickness medication before going. After about 15 minutes on the boat, I got seasick. If you are prone to motion sickness, be prepared.

When we reached the area where sharks are spotted, we were divided into two groups: the first half and the second half entered the water. By the way, there was no one among the staff or participants who spoke Japanese. (laughs)

The captain explained the safety instructions in English. He asked if I was from Japan and then handed me a written explanation in Japanese. I can’t speak any English, but surprisingly, I managed just fine. (laughs)

They provide snorkeling gear for free. However, some people brought their own. Since the snorkeling gear is shared, if you’re uncomfortable with that, it’s better to bring your own.

The tour was more fun than I expected, with plenty of sharks around. The time flew by. If it weren’t for the seasickness, I would want to participate again and again. However, since the seasickness was quite severe, I rated it one star lower than the maximum. I returned by bus (it cost about 1,000 yen for two people).

8時半に現地集合のため、朝の6時半にワイキキ付近の宿泊ホテルを出ました。送迎してもらうプランが料金が少し高いと思ったので、Uberタクシーで自力で行きました。(行きのみで約8000円ほどでした)

1時間ほどで現地に到着。現地にトイレがあると書いてありましたが、トイレットペーパーがなくてトイレも壊滅的に汚い為、それを頭に入れてトイレを使ってください。(笑)

メンバーは全員で12人でした。船に乗る前に履物を脱ぎます。籠に全員分まとめて入れられるので、汚れてもいいようなサンダル等を履いてきたほうがいいと思います。

他の方の口コミを読んで、酔い止めを飲んでいきました。船に揺られて15分ほど、見事に酔いました。船酔いしやすい方は覚悟していってください。
サメの出没するポイントにつくと2つのグループに分けられました。前半組と後半組で海に入りました。
ちなみに日本語をしゃべれる人はスタッフと参加者で誰もいませんでした。(笑)

キャプテンが注意事項等、英語で説明してくれます。ジャパン？と聞かれ、その後日本語で書いてある説明書を渡してくれました。まったく英語を喋れませんが、意外と何とかなります。(笑)

シュノーケリングは無料で貸してくれます。ですが、自分で持ってきてる人もいました。使い回しのシュノーケリングなので、嫌な方は自分で持ってきたほうがいいです。

ツアー自体は思った以上にサメがうようよいてとても楽しかったです。
あっという間の時間でした。
船酔いがなければ何度でも参加したいです。
でも船酔いが相当きつかったので、星は最高点より1つマイナスにしました。
帰りはバスで帰りました。(2人で約1000円くらい)

It's reassuring that there's an explanation in Japanese.
The view from the sandbar, which is inaccessible to individuals, is amazing.
It's a mysterious place that feels like being in the ocean but on land (coral).
The barbecue hamburgers were delicious.
We were lucky to encounter manta rays and turtles.
While snorkeling around the coral, we enjoyed schools of fish and a real aquarium experience!

日本語で説明があるから安心です。
個人では行けないサンドバーからの景色が最高です。
海の中にいるのに陸（珊瑚）のような・・不思議な場所です。
バーベキューのハンバーガーが美味しかったです。
運良くマンタとカメにも遭遇できました。
サンゴの周りのシュノーケリングでは魚の群れとリアル水族館が楽しめました！

It was a fun experience to see a rainbow early in the morning. You can also visit the movie filming location in the back that can only be accessed by buggy.

Our guides, Maddi and Chachi made an awesome day fun and informative. Not just a movie set adventure but driving the URaptor though native Hawaii country side and up mountain/Valley rangers was oh so fun

Exploring the Kualoa Valley with ATVs is a thrilling yet resonate experience, as it gives some independence to explore this beautiful valley. We were pleasantly surprised that our tour guides not only shared the movie filming history, but also emphasized the valley's importance to the ancient Hawaiian culture and the legends associated with the sacred Kualoa mountain range. Thank you so much for sharing and preserving such a beautiful place! Shout out to Sarah for an awesome experience!

The sandbar itself is an awesome natural phenomenon, and having a top-notch crew that supports you during your visit is a great benefit! Their boat cruise out to the sandbar provides you with water and a snack, as well as offers a place out of the sun to change or use the restrooms which would otherwise be completely unavailable without them. PLUS, they provide so much equipment to snorkel, kayak, play volleyball, and swim with lifejackets that is all included in the initial price. Definitely recommend the banana boat or tube ride though, as the thrill of being pulled behind a speed boat across this paradise is beautiful and quite fun! Overall, excellent experience that allows you to enjoy a natural phenomenon I've never experienced before.

I can’t believe I did this in Pacific Ocean.
Best thrilling experience I have ever had and Hawaiian Parasailing made it so easy. The captain and his crew was awesome.

Since I came to Hawaii, I wanted to fully enjoy the beautiful ocean, and I had a great time. We boarded a medium-sized boat that could hold about 50 people and set off for the sandbar, which took about 30 minutes. Along the way, we were able to see sea turtles and rays, but not as many as I had hoped. I wonder if it was due to the season?

Once we arrived at the sandbar, we were quickly provided with snorkeling gear and enjoyed swimming while looking into the water from the boat, where there was a lookout. Below us were mostly coral reefs, and we could see various colorful fish swimming among them. We spent over an hour in the water, and when we returned to the boat, we were able to eat a hamburger made with grilled meat from a barbecue. I was so hungry that I wanted to eat another one. Drinks were unlimited.

We rented a car to visit Hanauma as a family instead of going on a tour, but since the sandbar was part of a tour, we had pick-up and drop-off from the hotel, and lunch was included. The guide kindly explained everything, so we were able to enjoy it quite a bit.

Since it was a family trip with six people, my grandchildren, who are in middle and high school, were much happier than us older folks. Thank you very much!

ハワイに来たからには綺麗な海を満喫したかったのですが、
とても楽しめました。50人乗りぐらいの中型船に乗って
サンドバーまで３０分ぐらいかけて船出しました。
途中ウミガメやエイを見ることが出来ましたが期待したほどは
見られませんでした。時期的な問題だったのかしら？
サンドバーに着くとすぐにシュノーケリングを貸してもらい
船の上でしっかり見張りがいるところで海中を覗きながら
遊泳をしました。下は殆どがサンゴ礁でその間を色んな色をした
魚が泳いでいるところを見ることが出来ました。
一時間以上海の中にいて、船に戻りますとバーベキューで肉を焼いた
ハンバーガーを各自一個ずつ食べることが出来ました。
お腹が空いたのでもう一個ぐらい食べたかったです。
飲み物は飲み放題でした。
ハナウマには家族でレンタカーを借りてツアーでなく行きましたが、
サンドバーはツアーでしたのでホテルからの送り迎えもあり、
昼食もついて案内人にも親切に説明してもらいましたので
それなりに楽しむことが出来ました。
６人の家族旅行でしたので中高生の孫たちは我々年寄りより
数倍大喜びでした。有難うございました！

We participated as a family of four, so it ended up being quite expensive, but everyone had a great time. All the explanations and conversations were in English, but that wasn't a problem. It would have been even more fun if there had been a bit more elevation and length. I dropped my phone along the way, but they were able to recover it safely!

家族４人で参加しましたのでかなり費用が掛かってしまいましたが、全員楽しめました。説明や会話は全て英語ですが問題ありませんでした。もう少し高低差、長さがあるともっと楽しいんだけどな〜。途中で携帯が外れて落としてしまいましたが無事回収してもらえました！

Awsome trip. I'm 66 and would never scuba dive or even snorkel. The sub let me see all the colorful fish, and even a shark underwater. They were all over the sunken ship. So much more wonderful than watching a movie.

Was the best experience in Hawaii. The driver was really friendly and nicely.
Kualoa Ranch is a beautiful place and you can enjoy with the family.
We did Hollywood Filming tour and was amazing, We saw the different places were many movies filmed and we loved the culture. You can see the plantation and different animals around of the ranch.

This day will definitely remain in the memory of my children and me for the rest of my life. The trip was wonderful thanks to the activities that were prepared by the ship's crew and of course the unusually beautiful nature around. Huge praise also goes to the crew, who were willing to answer all our questions and very helpful with the activities. Personally, I would like to thank Tyson, who was extremely helpful. If anyone is hesitating whether to try this trip on their vacation, I strongly recommend that don't hesitate for a second, because I guarantee that you won't regret it. Once again, a huge thank you and I wish the whole crew all the best.

The horseback riding experience itself was enjoyable, but we didn't have the opportunity to take photos during the ride, so it didn't feel memorable. It was a bit disappointing that the guide didn't actively offer to take photos for us.

乗馬体験そのものは楽しかったが、重場中の写真を自分たちでとる機会がなかったので記念にならない。ガイドさんも積極的に写真を撮るサービス等してくれないのでやや残念であった。

I had a good time overall on the second tour, but the explanations were all in English. For those who understand, the jokes make sense, but for those who don't speak English, it's completely meaningless and boring. I wish they would at least provide a translation device.

2回目のツアーで全体的には楽しかったが、すべて英語の説明でわかる人には冗談が通じるが、英語が分からないと全く意味不明でつまらない。せめて翻訳機くらい用意してほしい。

The zip line itself was interesting, but I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as high as I expected; some domestic zip lines have a greater sense of fear. The game-like events along the way were fun. It was unfortunate that I was instructed to leave my belongings in a locker, so I couldn't take any photos.

ジップそのものは面白かったが、高さが思ったより高くなく少しがっかり、国内のジップの方が恐怖感が高いものがある。途中でのゲーム的な催しがあったのは楽しかった。ロッカーに荷物を預けるように指示されたので写真が取れないのは残念であった。

Mommy daughter trip was the best. This trip is perfect for kids. Plenty of excitement and they move at their own pace. She loved swimming at the Sandbar and watching the sea turtles. We took photos and slashed around. The best was the snorkeling. It was easy for her to learn with practice at the Sandbar. The hot chocolate and Funyuns chips were delicious. Highly recommend for kids of all ages.

The donuts we had on the boat were delicious. The singing, the sea, and the Japanese guide were all kind and it was the best. I definitely want to go again.

First, they take photos for you, and you can purchase them before disembarking at the end. All the photos are beautifully edited, so we bought the entire set.

You can have the best experience without getting wet or dirty. We saw a lot of beautiful fish.

It was also fun to see the submarine coming up to the surface for the first time!

We didn't specifically download the Japanese audio guide, but we were busy enjoying the underwater scenery, so it was fine without the audio guidance.

最初に写真を撮影してくれるのですが、最後下船前に購入可能です。どの写真もとても素敵に加工してくれているので、うちは全セットで購入しました。


水に濡れたり汚れる事もなく、最高の体験が出来ます。沢山綺麗な魚が見られました。　　

潜水艦が水面に上がってくる姿も初めて見たので楽しかったです！

日本語音声ガイドはうちは特にダウンロードはしませんでしたが、
海中の景色を見るのに忙しく、特に音声案内は無くても大丈夫でした。

You will get completely covered in dust, but the exhilaration of navigating through breathtaking natural scenery and bumpy roads and puddles on a four-wheeler was the best! Even the kids who don't know about Jurassic movies (two elementary school students and one middle school student) were very happy. The guide took wonderful photos at each point!

The only downside is that since you share a large bus with other participants from different tours at Kualoa Ranch, the waiting time on-site can be a bit long for the full-day tour.

全身砂ぼこりまみれにはなりますが、大自然の絶景や、でこぼこ道&水たまりをものともせず四輪バギーで進んでいく爽快感が最高でした！
ジュラシック映画を知らない子供たち（小学生2人&中学生1人）でもとても喜んでました。
ガイドさんに各ポイントで素敵な写真を撮ってもらえました！

クアロアランチの他のツアーの参加者さんと大型バスに乗り合いで行くので終日のツアーとなる為、現地での待ち時間が少し長くなる事だけが難点です。

We participated as a family. During snorkeling, we were able to see the coral reefs and fish up close. We also rode kayaks together as a family, and although it was optional, we got to experience the banana boat, which made the kids very happy. We created wonderful memories as a family and would like to participate again next time.

It's within walking distance from Waikiki Beach and easy to get to. It became a great travel memory that four older adults could thoroughly enjoy.

Driving the buggy was my first experience, and I was a bit nervous until I got the hang of it, but it wasn't difficult at all, and I quickly became accustomed to it and enjoyed the drive.

We stopped the car about three times, and the guide shared interesting facts like, "This is where that movie was filmed!" and "This terrain was formed in this way!"

We participated as a pair, and at that moment, we were able to switch drivers.

The two hours felt longer than I expected, and towards the end, I did get a little bored, but I was able to enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and the sea, making it a wonderful experience.

バギーの運転は初めてで、コツをつかむまでは少し緊張しましたが、難しいことはないのであっという間に慣れ、ドライブを楽しめました。

3回ほど車を停めて、あの映画の撮影に使われたのがここだよ！とか、ここの地形はこんな風にしてできたんだよ！とか、ガイドをしてくれます。
２人で参加しましたが、この降りたタイミングで運転手も交代できました。

２時間は思っていたよりも長く、最後の方は少し飽きもきましたが…山と海の絶景が楽しめて、素晴らしい体験ができました。

I enjoyed two activities each day. As mentioned in the guide, I contacted the team at Viator via email and was able to experience both activities without any issues. Each had its own unique appeal, and my family had a great time. Driving on the left side for the first time was manageable since there was only one lane, and the horses for the riding activity were well-trained and calm, making it safe for the kids to ride. There was a Japanese staff member at the Kualoa Ranch reception, so I generally felt at ease. The individual guides for each activity, as well as the staff at the shops and restaurants, spoke only English, which made for some memorable moments as I tried to communicate with my kids despite the language barrier. The hamburgers were delicious too.

The bus stop for the outbound trip might have had some room for negotiation depending on your accommodation. It was a bit of a distance for an early morning departure in an unfamiliar place. On the return trip, they provided drop-off service not only from Kualoa Ranch but also from other activities directly to individual hotels.

1日２つのアクティビティを楽しみました。
案内にもありましたが、ベルトラの方にメールで問い合わせて無事両方のアクティビティを体験することが出来ました。どちらも違う面白さがあり家族で楽しみました。初の左側運転も車線は一つだったので大丈夫でしたし、乗馬は馬がよく調教されていておとなしかったので子供でも安心して乗れました。クアロアランチの受付には日本人の方がいるので基本的に不安はありません。各アクティビティの個別のガイドさん、売店やレストランの方はもちろん英語だけなので、子供と一緒にわからないなりに話したのもいい思い出です。ハンバーガーもおいしかったです。
行きのバス乗り場は宿泊先によっては交渉の余地があったかもしれません。不慣れな場所での早朝の出発で、少し距離がありました。帰りはクアロアランチだけでなく他のアクティビティでも個別のホテルまで送ってくれました。
