I'm from NZ and am intending on bringing some 11-12yr olds back next year. I found it very moving and am sure everyone who attends will also be the same. I hope that when I do bring my students back that they will also appreciate and understand the impact it has had on everyone involved. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The weather was favorable, and we were able to see many sea turtles. The snacks were delicious, and I was satisfied. The sandbar had a wonderful contrast with the sea and was very beautiful. Next time, I would like to visit during a lower tide.

天候にも恵まれウミガメも数多く見ることができました。軽食も美味しく満足。サンドバーも海のコントラストが素晴らしく綺麗でした。今度はもっと引き潮の時に訪れたいと思います。

We were blessed with good weather and encountered about seven sea turtles. The guide mentioned that days like this are truly rare. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch and had a blissful time.

天候にも恵まれ海がめも7匹ぐらい遭遇し、ガイドさんもこんな日は本当にめずらしいとの事。昼食も美味しく頂き至福の時を過ごせました。

Overall a relaxing sail and a great time was had by my wife and i.

Never snorkeled before, but that was no problem....the boat was really impressively clean and well cared for. SOme tours can be kind of slack about cleanliness (bathrooms, facilities, etc..) but not this one...everything was immaculate. Staff was great. Always "on it" as far as service goes, and we had just a really great day. I could go on this tour several times and still enjoy it just as much, if not more, than the first time. Great staff. GReat day.

There are various types of slides, from scary ones to kid-friendly ones, so we were able to play for half a day without getting bored. By the time it was time to pick up, I felt like we could have stayed for another two hours! I plan to go again!

怖いものからキッズ向けのものまでいろいろなスライダー系があって飽きずに半日遊べました。ピックアップの時間になり、あと２時間くらいはあってもいいと思えるほどでした。またいく予定です！

We all had an amazing day snorkeling. the crew were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. The reef was brilliant and we would definitely have gone back for a second visit if we had time on this trip.

I participated in the afternoon session.
We boarded a yacht from the harbor and enjoyed a pleasant breeze while taking in the wonderful scenery during a brief cruise.
I spotted two turtles basking in the sun.

On this day, the sandbar didn't emerge from the water, but it was shallow enough to knee height, allowing us to enjoy the mystery of it.
The weather was nice, but there was quite a bit of wind, so the water felt warmer, almost like being in a hot spring.

While snorkeling, a turtle appeared right in front of me and swam towards me as I was getting my camera ready, which was a bit scary, but I was able to play with the turtle after snorkeling.

I had already enjoyed so much up to this point, but the lunch was absolutely delicious.
The staff asked, "Would you like to eat on the yacht's deck?" and my husband and I took over the space for ourselves (laughs).

Shopping usually takes center stage in Hawaii, but participating in this tour created the best memories and made me think that next time, I definitely want to go out to sea on a yacht again!

午後の部に参加してきました。
港からヨットに乗り、気持ちの良い風を浴びながら、素晴らしい景色を眺めながら、しばしのクルージング。
甲羅干しをしているカメを２匹発見しました。

この日のサンドバーは海面から顔を出すことはありませんでしたが、膝ぐらいの浅さだったので十分神秘を味わえました。
天気は良かったですが、風が結構あったので、水の中の方が温かく、温泉に来ているようでした。

シュノーケリングでは目の前にカメが現れ、カメラを構えていた自分の方に向かってきたので怖かったですが、シュノーケリング後もカメと遊ぶことができました。

ここまでも十分楽しみましたが、なんといってもランチが最高においしかったです。
スタッフの方が「ヨットのデッキで食べますか？」と言ってくれ、夫婦２人で占領させていただきました(笑)

いつもハワイはショッピング中心になりますが、このツアーに参加して、次回も必ずヨットで沖に出よう！と思わしてくれる最高の思い出になりました！！！

Great experience for the entire family. Absolutley, worth spending the day. Very inspiring and sobering at the same time.

I was planning to relax at Kailua Beach, but the day I signed up for the tour was Independence Day! The beach was packed with people. Well, I managed to enjoy it to some extent, but if you're aiming for a "relaxing" experience, it seems better to avoid Sundays and holidays.

カイルアのビーチでのんびり。。。を予定していたら、ツアー申し込んだ日は建国記念日！ビーチはLocoでイッパイでした。
まぁ、そこそこには楽しめましたけど。。。
「のんびり」を目指すのであれば、日曜・祝日は避けた方がよさそうです。

Our experience with Captain Bob's Snorkel Cruise was awesome. The staff was laidback and friendly and made our experience great. They played volleyball on the sandbar with us, cooked us an awesome burger and gave great tips and help to make our snorkle experience the best. Could have done with a little less of Jenner's singing, since he seems to like to "ham it up" a bit too much.

I look forward to my next trip to Oahu so I can do this tour again.

My friends and I had come to Hawaii for Spring Break, and they had literally spent the entire time just sitting on the beach drinking and getting tans. That was cool for about a day or two then I was done! I wanted to DO SOMETHIN!

I heard about this water park and it seemed like something that would be fun to mix it up and get goin!

And It was. It was cool, and fun, and a great change of pace from how bored I was! I liked the fast rides and slides....the little number thing that helped you pick them was cool cuz I chose all the fast and hard ones! yeah!

I say go to this park for sure. Cool.

After staying in Waikiki for the week, my kids were climbing the walls and my wife and I were ready for a change and just needed to get out and spend a day away from the hotel. This was a perfect choice. The free transport from the hotel also really helped to justify the costs for me as the wallet-holder!

The ride there wasn't too long, just under an hour, and when we got there, the kids went nuts! It was go go go all day, and when they got home to the hotel that night, they went straight to bed! I swear, I wanted to go back the next day just for that reason alone! It was a great day and I highly recommend the park, especially for families.

This was the second time we've done the Starlight Luau. We liked it the first time and we weren't disappointed the second time around. The biggest plus is the food; it is varied and delicious. The performers are pretty good as well. The one negative is the setup; the tables are packed so everyone is crammed together like sardines. A little more elbow room would make this a 5 star review. We've been to other luau's that you need to take a 40 minute bus ride to get repeatedly bitten by bugs on the beach; this one has better food and far more convenience.

This was the third time we've taken Captain Bob's and for the third time, we had a great time. This has become a "must do" activity for us on every trip. The crew is friendly and helpful - Jenner and Kelly stood out for us - and the lunch was very good. The sandbar is my favorite part of the activity. As long as Captain Bob keeps sailing, we'll continue to climb aboard!

I previously participated in a morning tour with my husband in March. At that time, it was cold and the sky was overcast, and the seawater was so cold that we had to give up on snorkeling! However, we got some great photos at the beautiful sandbar!

This time, I joined an afternoon tour with friends! We were able to enjoy snorkeling, but due to the tides, the sandbar seemed to be underwater?? We couldn't see the beach that appeared in the sea. What a shame.

We were able to see sea turtles multiple times and even swam with them!

以前３月に主人と午前のツアー参加した経験ありです。その時は寒く空もどんより・・余りに海水が冷たくシュノーケル断念！しかし、美しいサンドバーと記念写真はバッチリ！
今回は友達と午後のツアー参加！シュノーケルは楽しめましたが、潮の満ち干きの関係？あれっ？サンドバーが海中？？海に現れる砂浜は対面出来ず。残念。
海がめさんは何回も見れたし一緒に海中で泳げましたよ！

The water slide was a lot of fun. My 2-year-old loved the kids' slide and went down it dozens of times. My 10-year-old daughter was very happy with the thrilling slides that aren't available in Japan. However, it seemed like it was just the start of summer vacation, and even though we went on a Friday, it was quite crowded, and we had to wait over 40 minutes for some rides. Because of that, we didn't have enough time (＞＜). I would like to go again when it's less crowded. Also, even if you choose a plan without a float, you can borrow one. Everyone was using them freely on-site, and there was nothing written on the wristbands to check.

ウォータースライダーがとても楽しかったです。
２歳の子は、子供用の滑り台が気に入り何十回も滑っていました。１０歳の娘は日本にはない迫力のあるスライダーにとても喜びました。しかしちょうど夏休みに入っていたようで、金曜日に行きましたが結構混んでいて４０分以上並んだものもありました。。。ですので、時間が全然足りませんでした（＞＜）もう少し、混んでいない時にまた行きたいです。あと浮き輪はついていないプランでも借りられます。現地では、みんなが勝手に使っていました。チェックするところも、リストバンドにも何も書かれていなかったです。

Sunset Dinner Cruise, Cocktails, Dancing.. what a fun night! Let me tell you, seeing a sunset in Hawaii is wonderful but seeing it from the ocean, its like a paint brush painted the skies for the evening. Perfect for that special romantic moment with your loved one!

Unfortunately, I did not see the mystical green flash, but we did see several dolphins and the sunset over the water, magical!

Staff was very attentive and came by my dinner table through out the evening to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone on-board participated in the dancing. Thank you so much for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise!

We took a boat from a location about 30 minutes by car from Waikiki, starting with sea turtle watching. The turtles were on the smaller side, but we were able to see two or three right away. Then, we quickly arrived at the sandbar.

On the boat, there was an explanation about the option for photo shoots that would be made into a DVD. Since I didn't have a waterproof camera, I signed up right away. Without worrying about getting wet, we were able to take plenty of photos of the two of us with the stunning scenery as the backdrop.

I highly recommend it!! Over 50 photos for $60, ready the same day.

During snorkeling, we got really close to the sea turtles. It was a satisfying tour.

Although it was a morning tour, it wasn't too tiring, and we were able to make good use of the afternoon as well.

　ワイキキから車で30分くらいの所からボートに乗って、
まずは海がめウォッチング。サイズは小さめですが、すぐに２，３匹見ることができました。そして、すぐにサンドバーに到着。

ボートの中でDVDに仕上がる写真撮影のオプションの説明がありました。防水カメラを用意していなかったので、早速申し込みました。濡れる心配もなく、最高の景色を背景に二人の写真を思う存分撮って頂きました。


お勧めです！！50枚以上で60ドル。当日の仕上がりです。

シュノーケリングでは海がめと大接近。満足なツアーです。

午前中のツアーでしたが、そこまで疲れることもなく、午後からの時間も有効に使えました。

This was my second time on Oahu, and the first trip I mostly spent all my time in and around Waikiki. This tour was great in that it got me all the way to the other side of the island for a change of pace.

That side of the island....they called it Kaneohe Bay I think, man, it was beautiful. The water was so clear, and I got to see all kinds of fish I had never seen before too.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money either, and so this was a good deal for the price, as lunch was part of it...and tasted good too! The people were nice and helpful, and the sandbar was probably my favorite part. Good tour.

We seen so many dolphins and we were even fortunate enough to see Bottlenose Dolphins which are much much bigger than the frequent spinner dolphins. Bottlenose Dolphins do not come around the islands very often so this was a real treat, maybe even a once in a lifetime opportunity!!

The crew was very friendly and they held my sister's hand in the water because she is afraid of sea animals. But ONCE she put her mask on and placed her head under the water, it was a whole different world for her filled with beautiful colored fish and a huge reef system that surrounded her.

Wonderful crew, Tasty food, everyone on-board was really friendly and after a nice dip out in the deep blue ocean, you are treated to an open bar. Great Stuff! Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Ocean Joy Cruises for a wonderful dolphin watch and cruise!

On June 21st, a bus picked us up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. Several couples boarded the bus from the same meeting point. After that, we visited three locations with a total of 18 passengers heading to our destination. Along the way, we made a five-minute restroom stop at a park near the destination, and then we arrived at the intended port.

With two buses, we had a total of 45 people boarding the boat. The crew was mostly Japanese, so there were no language concerns. The captain in the yellow T-shirt in the first photo is Mr. Hasegawa. After leaving the port, the boat took almost ten minutes to reach the sandbar. It was so close that there was no time to get seasick. During that time, our guide, Izumi, provided various instructions. Just before we arrived at our destination, we encountered a swimming turtle. I spotted three turtles.

When we arrived at the destination, it looked like this... (fourth photo)! Due to the tides, it may not always be possible to visit at low tide. This time, the water was about knee-deep. We walked around for about 20 minutes before returning to the boat, where half of the group went snorkeling while the rest had a meal. We were part of the meal group. There was more food than we could eat, and everyone was more than satisfied with the amount.

When we started snorkeling, a baby sea turtle approached us. It seemed accustomed to humans and climbed onto the guide's bodyboard. After that, it swam around us.

The snorkeling around the coral had a limited number of fish, which might be a bit disappointing for experienced divers. Since we were wearing life jackets, we couldn't dive.

The snorkeling lasted about 15 minutes. After that, we returned to the boat and headed back to the port.

During that time, the only girl on the boat was chosen by the captain to hold the helm next to him. She seemed nervous, but it was a great experience for her.

While not everything was perfect, the guides had a genuine desire to entertain us, making it an enjoyable tour. It would have been even better if the weather had been nice.

6月21日朝8時半にホテルにピックアップのバスが来た。
同じ集合場所からは数組みのカップルの方がバスに乗り込んだ。その後3か所を回り18名の乗員で目的地に向かった。
途中、トイレ休憩で目的地そばの公園に5分ぐらい止まり、
その後目的の港に着いた。
２台のバスで総勢４５名になり船に乗り込んだ。
クルーはほぼ日本人の方々で言葉は心配ない。
１枚目の写真の黄色のＴシャツのキャプテンは長谷川さんと言う。
船は港を出た後・・・目的地のサンドバーまでほぼ１０分。
船酔いなどしている暇もないぐらい近い。
その間、ガイドのいずみさんが色々諸注意を話してくれた。
目的地に着く寸前、カメが泳いでいるのに遭遇。私は３頭のカメを見つけた。
目的地に着き降りるとこんな感じ・・・４枚目！干満の関係で１００％干潮時に行けない場合もあると言う事だ。
今回は膝の下ぐらいでした。
散歩を２０分ぐらいして船に戻り、半分の方がシュノーケル。残りの人は食事となった。我々は食事の組み。
食事は食べきれないほどあり、だれもが十分満足できる量だった。
次にシュノーケルを始める時、子どものウミガメが我々に近寄ってきた。
人間に慣れているようで、ガイドの方のボディーボードへ乗っかってきた。
その後、我々の周りを回っていた。

サンゴの周辺のシュノーケルは魚影はこの程度でもぐった体験者にはちょっと物足りないかな？
ライフジャケットを着ているので・・・潜る事は出来ない。

シューノーケルは１５分ぐらいだったかな？
その後船に戻って港に戻った。

その際、船に一人しかいなかった娘が船長に指名されて、
キャプテンの横で舵を持たせてもらった。
本人は緊張していたようだが・・・よい経験をさせていただきました。

全てＯＫではないが、ガイドの方々の楽しませようという気持ちがあり。楽しめるツアーになっている。
天気が良ければもっと良いだろう。

It was very enjoyable and interesting. The splashes of the waves were exhilarating, the swaying was like a roller coaster, and I was impressed by the deep blue color of the ocean. The view from offshore Waikiki was spectacular.

Among the participants, we were the only two Asians, and most seemed to be mainland Americans visiting for tourism (based on their accents).

Because of this, it was a very lively cruise. Indeed, the atmosphere tends to decline significantly when there are Japanese people on board.

If you don't understand Japanese and aren't quite fluent in English, you won't be able to grasp what the crew is saying. It was fun!!

大変楽しく面白かったでうす。
波しぶきは受けるは、ゆれはジェットコースター並みで、海の色の青さには、感激しました。
ワイキキの沖からの景色は絶景でした。


参加者は、東洋人は私たち２人だけで、ほとんどが、観光で着ているメインランドのアメリカ人のようでした。
（言葉のなまりで判断）

それなので、非常にのりのよいクルージングでした。やはり、のりのよさはでは、日本人がいると、かなり悪くなってしまいます。　　

日本語は通じず、かなり英語がしゃべれる人でないと、クルーの言っていることは、不明です。　
面白かった！！

The staff was great, the food was good, and the snorkeling was fun.

I think there were about 25 people on board, and we were the only Japanese. It was a cruise where couples, families, and friends could all truly enjoy themselves in their own ways.

Everyone participated differently, but there was a sense of unity among us. My family, for instance, had the chance to take pictures with an American couple in front of us, and sometimes the couples were hugging and kissing. A group of young girls was having a blast, dancing to the music at the front of the boat while splashing water everywhere.

Thanks to the staff's attentiveness, everyone maintained a good distance from each other, and I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about. The beautiful sea, the view of Waikiki, and the pleasant breeze made it all perfect.

My 78-year-old father was feeling anxious before boarding, but afterward, he unexpectedly said, "I had so much fun, I want to do it again." I was truly glad that I could share this first experience with him.

乗船は25名ぐらいだったと思います、日本人は我々だけでしたがカップル、家族、友人同士それぞれが思い思いに本当に楽しめるクルーズでした。

参加の仕方はそれぞれですが、全員の一体感もあり家族で参加した私たちも前のアメリカ人のカップルと写真を撮りあったりする時間もあり、時にはカップルは抱き合ってキスしていたりと・・。
若い女の子のグループはめちゃくちゃはしゃいで水を浴びる船の先端で音楽に合せて踊っていました。
とにかくスタッフの気配りのおかげでみんな良い距離感を保てているし、おせじ抜きに言う事無しです。
綺麗な海とワイキキの景色、心地よい風。
78才の父も乗船前は不安になっていたのですが、終わってから「とても楽しかった、もう一度乗りたい」と想定外の言葉が飛び出して、初体験の父を一緒に参加させてよかったと心から思いました。

I've been to Hawaii many times, but after turning 60, I had one regret. I wanted to try surfing at least once! However, participating in the Outrigger Catamaran Sailing made me feel like my dream came true. The view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, the blue sky, and the azure sea from the water was breathtaking. I even found the strength of the wind and the coolness of the sea spray to be pleasant. The perspective was different from the dinner cruise I had taken before; it felt as if I was flying over the waves... Unfortunately, since it was in the evening, I didn't encounter any sea turtles. Next time, I definitely want to join a morning sailing to meet the sea turtles! If possible, I would love to see dolphins too! This was an activity I would love to participate in again. Thank you very much.

ハワイはもう何度も行ってますが、６０歳を過ぎて心残りがありました。
一度でいいから「サーフィン」をしてみたい！でも今回のアウトリガー・カタマランセーリングに参加して、夢が叶った気分でした。海の上から眺めるワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッド、青い空、碧い海。風の強さも、波しぶきの冷たさも心地よくさえ感じました。以前に乗ったディナークルーズの船とは、目線の高さが違うぶん、まるで私が波の上を飛んでいるように…でも、夕方の時間だったので、海がめには遭遇できませんでした。次回はぜひ朝のセーリングに参加して、海がめに逢いたい！できればイルカにも逢いたい！
もう一度、ぜひ参加したいアクティビティでした。ありがとうございました。

GREAT TIME

We participated as a couple and chose this tour because it offers longer free time compared to other tours, along with a good price and lockers. I had been to Kailua once before, but this time I wanted to visit "Boots & Kimo's," famous for its pancakes, and hoped to explore Kailua Town as well.

After arriving in Kailua, I debated whether to bike or walk, and ultimately decided to walk to Boots & Kimo's, which took about 20 minutes. I got pancakes to-go and enjoyed them for breakfast on the beach, and they were incredibly delicious!

Kailua has such beautiful waters! Waikiki is nice too, but coming here feels completely different. On the day we participated, there were many small waves, which didn't seem ideal for boogie boarding, but my husband was able to see a turtle while swimming. You can also rent snorkeling gear, so I think it's good to check the wave conditions before deciding.

After spending about an hour in Kailua, we rented bikes (Kailua Sailboards & Kayaks offers rentals for tour participants at around $11 each) and headed to the neighboring Lanikai Beach. Lanikai Beach has a milky emerald sea! The beauty of the ocean alone lifts your spirits. The last time I walked to Lanikai Beach, I was exhausted, so I recommend biking instead.

For lunch, we could choose between a boxed lunch or pizza, and I opted for the pizza recommended by the staff. I was surprised at how big it was!

The four hours flew by. With the long free time, we could visit the town and Lanikai, making it a great option for repeat visitors. There are Japanese staff members, and the presence of lockers, restrooms, and changing rooms adds to the overall sense of security, making it a very good experience.

夫婦で参加しましたが、自由時間が他のツアーよりも長い＆価格＆ロッカー付きということでこちらのツアーに決めました。
以前にも１度カイルアにいったことがありましたが、今回はパンケーキが有名な「ブーツアンドキモズ」にも行ってみたくカイルアタウンにもいけたらなと思っていました。

カイルアに到着後自転車か徒歩か悩んだ末、徒歩でブーツアンドキモズへ行ってみましたが、歩いても20分くらいでした。
パンケーキをTOGOしてビーチで朝食にいただきましたがすごく美味しかったです！！

カイルアはとても綺麗な海です！ワイキキもきれいだけど、こちらに来ると、全然ちがうな~と感じました。
参加した日は小さい波が沢山くるような感じで、ブギーボードはあまり適してなかったように感じましたが、旦那さんは普通に泳いでいたら亀をみれたようです。シュノーケルのセットもレンタルもできるので、波の状態を見てきめるのも良いと思います。
１時間ほどカイルアにいてから、レンタル自転車（カイルアセイルボード＆カヤックで、ツアー参加者は１台１１ドルくらいで借りれました）を借りて隣のラニカイビーチに行ってきました。
ラニカイビーチのほうが、ミルキーエメラルド！な海です。海が美しくてそれだけでテンションがあがります↑
ラニカイビーチまで、以前行ったときは歩いたのですがヘトヘトになってしまったので、自転車のほうがおすすめです。

ランチはボックスランチかピザが選べましたが、担当の方がお勧めしてくれたピザをチョイス。すごくおおきくてびっくり！！

あっという間の４時間でした。
フリーな時間が長いのでタウンに行ったりラニカイに行ったりもでき、リピーターさんにもお勧めです。
日本人スタッフもいますし、ロッカーやトイレ、更衣室などもしっかりついているので安心度も高くとても良かったです。

This is a really convenient luau. In good walking distance or a cab ride away from all the hotels and incredibly delicious food. Be sure to get the Golden Circle, because we did and we had excellent front row type of seating. CHECK IN EARLY TO BYPASS THE CROWD!!!

Some bad "Cons" about this is:
there is no good/ romantic picture taking scenery, chairs are situated very close to eachother so your banging elbows with the next person, its on the top of a parking lot structure and its just surrounded by a bunch of buildings.

Staff was friendly, water is always provided, the Food is BETTER tasting from all the other Luau's I have been too.. so that is a plus.

It was a wonderful sail and beautiful scenery of Diamond Head, Waikiki and Town. The Captain answered all of my daughter's questions, and let me tell you..SHE HAD A LOT of questions!! She even made friends with another little girl on-board. We didn't snorkel because I am not a great swimmer and the waves looked kinda rough, but its ok...me and my daughter was on the top drinking our Orange and Guave juice and enjoying the breeze, relaxing and taking in the scenery.

The Catamaran was clean, comfortable, and had 2 CLEAN bathrooms on-board (Women and Men). The staff was very friendly, always came around to see how we were doing and offering us anything to drink.. Beautiful way to spend your afternoon.. Well done, Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Hawaii Nautical!!
