It was thrilling and refreshing. I had a bit of anxiety at first, but it disappeared right after boarding. The strong winds made it difficult to take photos with my smartphone, but you can purchase the actual flight footage later (which includes our footage), so it's fine to focus on enjoying the scenery. The staff and pilot were great, and it was an enjoyable tour from start to finish. I absolutely recommend this tour, first class.

I made a reservation for the 8:00 AM flight and was scheduled to be picked up at the entrance of the hotel at 6:55. The pickup bus arrived around 6:58, and I handed my voucher to the friendly driver and boarded. We then picked up other guests who had also booked the same flight and headed to the helicopter landing area near the airport.

After arriving, we waited about 20 minutes for the helicopter to be prepared, but there were beautiful views of the ocean from the waiting area and various exhibits inside, so I didn't feel too bored. Finally, we boarded the helicopter and set off on our aerial adventure, which was incredibly fun! I was seated in the front row, center seat, but it felt a bit cramped. To my left was the pilot, and to my right was a woman, so our shoulders were constantly touching. One thing that bothered me was that my seat didn't have a proper handhold, so I had to awkwardly place my hands on the cushion of the seat.

It was actually a day with strong winds, almost like a typhoon, and I was worried about whether the helicopter would fly properly, but once we were in the air, it was surprisingly stable. (There were moments when the aircraft would gently sway every few minutes due to the wind, but I found that thrilling.) Overall, we spent about 50 minutes flying around the eastern half of Oahu. The views from above were truly beautiful, especially looking down at the steep valleys near Kualoa Ranch from the helicopter's high vantage point, which was breathtaking.

実は当日台風並みに強風の日でヘリコプターがちゃんと飛ぶのか不安なくらいだったんですが、飛んでしまうと意外に安定していました。（実際には風の影響?で数分に一回機体がふわっとなったりしましたがそれはそれでスリルがあって自分は好きでした。）
全体的には50分ほどかけてオアフ島の東側半分をぐるっと回りました。上空からの景色は本当に綺麗で、特にクアロアランチ近辺の切り立った山々の谷などをヘリコプターの高い視点から見下ろせたのは圧巻でした。
ツアーが終わると機内の様子やヘリからの景色を撮影した50分ほどのビデオをUSBに入れた状態で買うか聞かれます。
そして10:00ごろにホテルに到着、1日の始まりのアクティビティには最高です。

I wasn't aware of the news about the sightseeing helicopter crash on the Big Island that resulted in six deaths, but even if I had known, I would have participated. Everyone around me couldn't speak Japanese, but there was no need to worry. Before departing from the airport, you have to store your luggage in a locker, which requires four quarters. You can exchange money for that. They also offer a case to hang your smartphone around your neck for $10, but the lady next to me initially took photos but eventually stopped. This is one of the most epic things I have ever done! Steve (the owner) really does an amazing job getting you ready to make the jump and making the whole experience something you will never forget! The helicopter flight was awesome and the diving was perfect. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone other than Trident Adventures for an incredible, one of a kind dive experience! Also, The dive gear they provide is top end, brand new SCUBAPRO equipement. No sketchy, under-maintained gear with these guys. It doesnt matter how deep or shallow you go, that new, quality gear makes a huge difference in comfort and safety.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

I loved this experience. Location was easier to find. Check in was simple and easy. I liked the safety video. The real star was the helicopter ride. I highly recommend seeing Oahu from a helicopter and with the doors off!! I was able to take so many amazing pictures. I have been to Oahu many times and seen some of the sights from ground level, but it is nothing like seeing it from the air! Breathtaking!! The ground crew was fabulous, so helpful! I sat in the back on the right side. That was the only thing that was a bummer. I didn't get to a good view of Waikiki and some of the other sights on the left. The pilot, Steve, did do some circles to allow the right side riders to see, but many times, it was enough time to see and take photos. It is windy in the back, so I had to purse my lips throughout most of the flight to keep my lips and cheeks from flapping everywhere! I did wear a sweatshirt because there was a slight chill from the higher altitude. Overall, I give this experience a 10 out of 10!! If I every get back to Hawaii, I will take this helicopter ride again!!

It was my first time riding in a helicopter, and I never expected such strong winds to blow in without windows. I was so focused on keeping my glasses from flying off that I didn't have the luxury of enjoying the scenery. There was no escape from the wind in the cramped cabin. After landing, I looked at my glasses and saw that the tears blown away by the wind had crystallized and turned completely white. I do not recommend wearing contact lenses; they will definitely come off. Even with sunglasses, the intense wind comes in through the gaps, so I don't think it makes much difference. The pilot's announcements were hard to hear due to the strong wind noise. I hope they fly a bit slower next time, but I guess that would take too long and increase the cost.

I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to Hawaii for his birthday, and on our list of activities was this helicopter tour. He has always wanted to ride in a helicopter, and this ended up being the perfect addition to our itinerary. We went on a Friday morning, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming, as well as informative on what to expect. For the approximately hour long flight, our wonderful pilot Margot (my deepest apologies if this is not spelled correctly) gave narrative to what we were seeing, as well as provided jokes and reassurance any time the flight even remotely became rocky. The views were breathtaking, and this was the perfect way to appreciate how green and full of life this island is. We both felt this was more than worth the money, and we enjoyed every moment. It seems like it can get quite chilly up there though, so I would recommend a jacket.

The pickup was on time. It's a tour where even those who can't speak English can manage as long as they can say "yes" or "no." The pilot was very kind and talkative, which was great. This helicopter tour was booked right after we decided on our trip to Hawaii because my wife wanted to ride it. We waited for three months, excitedly counting down the days on the Veltra website!

To be honest, I'm not great with heights, and even though I was strapped in with a four-point seatbelt, I was still worried and gripping the handrail tightly. Without windows, it felt thrilling as if I might fall. You can feel the wind, and it gets cold, so a long-sleeve jacket is a must.

We took off from Inouye Airport and floated gently, making almost a full circle around Oahu, starting with Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. We also saw a waterfall in the mountains along the way.

Time flew by, and we returned safely! It was a valuable experience, and I had a lot of fun. I want to thank the pilot and the staff.

A cute storm named Tropical Storm Olivia had just passed by Oahu, so there was some wind and light rain, which made my fear of heights reach its maximum. I participated with my three children, and our seats were assigned from the beginning, with me being seated next to the pilot. Despite my nervousness, he kept reassuring me with "No problem!" and gently asked, "Are you okay?" with a smile, which helped me calm down. At first, flying without windows was really scary, but once I got on, it was stable and not as bad as I thought. There were two people in the front seats, and with the pilot, there were three of us. The pilot was friendly and provided excellent service, chatting a lot and explaining each view. Of course, it was through the intercom due to the noise and wind. Since I live in the continental United States, I was fine, but it might be a bit tough for shy people.

The pilot was very enthusiastic, so while flying over Waikiki Beach, we lay down and made steep descents and figure-eights, getting a good view of the beachgoers. That was quite thrilling. After that, we flew over most of the tourist spots and got close to waterfalls in the mountains that can only be accessed by helicopter, as well as slopes without any paths. It was definitely a sight that can only be seen from a helicopter.

At the end, we circled right above Honolulu Airport, which was great because seeing passenger planes taxiing just below us is something you don’t get to experience often. The planes were so close; it felt like we were flying a bit too close right above the airport. It was an incredibly memorable sightseeing flight, and I absolutely recommend it.

あれはスリル度高いです。
その後おおかたの観光拠点を飛び、ヘリでしか近づけない山の中にある滝とか道のない山の斜面に近づいたり、絶対ヘリでしか見れない光景でした。
最後ホノルル空港の真上を旋回して飛んでたので、滑走路に進んでる旅客機をすぐ上から見る光景もなかなかできないので良かったです。飛行機が近い近い。ちょっと寄りすぎでいいのかなと思うくらいの空港のすぐ上飛んでました。
めちゃくちゃ思い出になる遊覧飛行で絶対お勧めですね。

I participated with my wife and our 5-year-old child, making a total of three of us! Our child sat in the middle of the front row, my wife on the right, and I sat behind them. Due to the balance, it seems that changing seats is difficult.

On the day of the event, we went directly to the site by rental car since we were staying in the Ko Olina area. Shuttle service is only available from Honolulu, so if you're coming from other areas, you'll need to use a taxi or rental car.

I was worried that our child might be scared, but since we were in the middle seat, there were no issues. It was indeed very cold during the flight, so measures are necessary. We brought ultra-light down jackets, but my wife still looked cold.

As long as your camera has a strap, it’s fine! The staff lent us a mobile holder for free, but it’s the type that goes in a waterproof bag, which distorts the images from your mobile camera. If possible, I recommend purchasing a wrist strap in advance.

当日はコオリナ地区に宿泊していた為レンタカーにて直接現地入りしました。送迎はホノルルからしかない為、他の地区からはタクシーやレンタカーでの移動となります。

当日は子供が怖がらないか心配でしたが真ん中席だった為問題なし、フライト中はやはり非常に寒い為対策が必要です。我々はウルトラライトダウンを持参しましたが妻はそれでも寒そうでした。

カメラはストラップが付いていればOK！携帯用のホルダーはタダでスタッフの方々が貸してくれましたが水中でも使えるようなビニールに入れるタイプなのでせっかくの携帯カメラの画像が歪んでしまいます。可能なら事前に手首につかれるハンドストラップを購入をお勧めします。

こちらのVERTRAからの予約だったからか日本語ペラペラのお兄さんがパイロットを担当してくれました！
とても楽しく、英語が話せない妻と子供も楽しめました！！奥さんが日本人なんだとか！

スタッフの方々は非常にフレンドリーで終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。ヘリコプターからの景色は本当に絶景でやはりこちらのドアなしで正解でした！！

一つだけ、、、妻が乗り物に弱く、途中酔ってしまいスタッフの皆さんに大変ご迷惑をおかけしました、、、。乗り物に弱い方は少し検証、対策をしてからのフライトをお勧めします。また風は非常に強く寒いのでこちらの対策をしっかりして下さい！！

上記の事があっても乗る価値のある非常に感動の体験です！！

I think there might be a mistake in the description or perhaps a different model, but I participated alone in a four-person helicopter with two people in front (including the pilot) and two in the back (maybe three?). Since I was with a white father and son, I was pleasantly surprised to be given the first-class seat next to the pilot, which had a clear view down to the front windshield, without any additional option fees.

At the end of February, the weather was mostly cloudy, and there were strong winds and gusts at altitude. It felt like the pilot was constantly adjusting the controls to maintain the balance of the aircraft. Occasionally, the helicopter would drop suddenly, and the sensation of floating was exhilarating. When the helicopter tilted towards my side during the turns, I had to grip the handrail tightly.

Every now and then, when the sun peeked out, the ocean transformed into a vibrant blue, making me feel like, despite the season, Hawaii is amazing!

I wore a short-sleeve T-shirt with a long-sleeve T-shirt over it, plus a rain jacket for hiking, but towards the end, I felt a bit cold.

The helicopter flew past Diamond Head, either from the Waikiki Beach side or the Pearl Harbor side. If I could wish for something, it would be to make a turn after passing the summit so that we could see Waikiki Beach from even higher up behind Diamond Head. In other words, it might give you the privilege of looking down at Waikiki Beach from a higher vantage point, similar to the photos taken from other Diamond Head climbing tours. If you are fluent in English, you might want to negotiate for this.

The pilot was a cheerful and adorable woman who talked continuously during the flight. Despite the poor weather conditions for the season, I highly recommend this experience overall.

2月末、天気は曇りがちで、上空は風強く突風も吹き、パイロットが操縦桿を
前後左右こまめに操作して機体のバランスを取っている感じでした。
時折スッと機体が落ちて、体が宙に浮く感じがたまらなかったです。
窓無しヘリで自分の方に機体を傾けて旋回されると、つり革を強く握り締めざるを得なかったです。
時折太陽が顔を出すと、海が一面鮮やかなブルーに変わり、季節外れでも
ハワイやべえ(さすが凄い)！って感じでした。

半袖Tの上に長袖T着て、さらに登山用雨具の上着を着ていましたが、最後の方は少し寒さを感じました。

ワイキキビーチ側、もしくは真珠湾側からダイヤモンドヘッドの頂上のすぐ脇を通り過ぎていくのですが、欲をいえば頂上を過ぎた辺りで一度ターンしてもらえればダイヤモンドヘッド頂上のさらに高い背後から頂上ごとワイキキビーチが観れたんだろうなと思います。
つまり他のダイヤモンドヘッド登頂ツアーでよく見るワイキキビーチを見下ろした写真を、さらに高い所から頂上ごと見下ろせる優越感があるかもしれません。
英語が堪能な方は交渉してみて下さい。

飛行中ずっと話し続けている陽気でかわいい女性パイロットでした。
時期的な天候の悪さを差し引いても総じて超おすすめです。

It was my first trip to Hawaii for my honeymoon. There were places we couldn't visit during this trip, so we decided to see them from the sky and signed up for a tour. It was the right choice! The weather was clear, and while Hawaii is beautiful from the ground, seeing it from above was even more stunning and truly a wonderful experience. The pilot was also a lovely person, providing excellent service. They frequently checked in with us, asking if everything was good or okay, and even though I don't speak much English, there was so much that was communicated through the atmosphere. I chose the option without a window, but I really felt the wind and the grandeur, which I highly recommend. It was a tour I would love to use again!

I wanted to surprise someone with skydiving, but our schedules didn't match, so we went with this instead. There wasn't the thrill of twisting and turning, but it seemed just right since my companion felt some fear. It really made me realize how vast Hawaii is, and seeing Hawaii from above was exceptional!

Wow, what a way to see the sights of Oahu

From the moment we took off, we knew we were in good hands with the experienced pilot. His knowledge of the areas was outstanding. We saw where movies like Jurassic park were filmed - you could just imagine the dinosaurs there.
The pilot made sure that we has great viewing of all the sights. He gave us incredible access to Pearl Harbour and the wrecks that are clearly visible from the air.
Would highly recommend!!

This was absolutely incredible! It was my first time ever being on a helicopter. This was a surprise for my girlfriend. My girlfriend was so impressed! Our Pilot, Mooch, was awesome! He actually flew for President Clinton. He was very knowledgeable and he would answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this helicopter tour. We visited Pearl Harbor and we were able to view the US Arizona from the sky. We traveled around Waikiki and Diamond Head. We circled around the island and finished going by our hotel the Aulani. Make sure to bring a camera because you will have breathtaking picture opportunities. At one point we missed something and we told Mooch. He circled back around and hovered the helicopter so we could get a picture of what we missed. He went above and beyond. We both felt extremely safe with him in control of the helicopter.

I looked at many other helicopter tour packages and I am so glad I chose this option. It was affordable and definitely worth the money. It was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii.

Best time ever

This was the best hour of our lives. The sights were beautiful especially in a helicopter with the doors off. The instructor was very informative explaining a lot of the Hawaiian culture. I would recommend this to anyone who comes to Hawaii.
