We participated as a couple in our 40s. We arrived at the port in no time while laughing at the guide's broken Japanese jokes on the bus ride there. When it was time to split into two boats, they asked for preferences between a Japanese-only boat and an international boat. Since it was a special occasion, we chose the international boat. That said, the woman who guided us was Japanese, so we felt reassured. The BBQ lunch was truly delicious, just as the reviews said! It was my first time riding a horse, along with my 9-year-old daughter and my husband, aside from pony rides. However, the hour and a half flew by. The spacious ranch had remnants of an old rodeo arena, irrigation from sugarcane fields, and what seemed to be a weapons storage or air raid shelter used during World War II. They explained everything slowly and kindly, even to Japanese people who don't speak much English.

As we climbed the hill, we could see the ocean, and there were very old horses (34 and 36 years old, while the average lifespan is 25 to 30 years) leisurely spending time with younger horses. Wild pigs, cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, dogs, and chickens all looked happy.

The horses were smart, gentle, and safe. It was truly a valuable experience. I would love to go again.

I went during the May holiday. I checked the tide chart in advance and aimed to book on the day with the lowest tide during my stay. While riding the boat from the harbor to the point, I could see the sandbars, but unfortunately, by the time we arrived, the tide had come in.

Still, we were blessed with good weather, and the white sand, combined with the blue sky, created a beautiful scenery. On the way to the point, we also saw many turtles.

If you're participating in January, I strongly recommend bringing a thick windbreaker, as just renting a wetsuit for a fee won't be enough to prevent freezing on the boat after the first snorkeling session. Additionally, motion sickness medication is essential, especially for children.

We received explanations in Japanese from a very friendly staff member, and upon arriving at the port, we received rental gear and changed into wetsuits. About 10% of the participants were foreigners, with the majority being Japanese.

As soon as the boat set off, the staff introduced themselves, and we encountered dolphins! However, in a good way, we were not allowed to touch or chase the dolphins. It was more about observing the pod swimming from the water.

When there are many people from other tours nearby, it creates a significant number of humans spread out in the water, making it hard for the dolphins to come close. While this is understandable, I felt that for those who are satisfied, it could be a very rare experience. Honestly, I couldn't shake the feeling of swimming closely with the dolphins as I had imagined. Perhaps my expectations were too high. If you want that experience, a private tour might be necessary, as nearly 40 people felt like too many. While it might be necessary for efficiency, I wished for a smaller group to approach the dolphins without startling them.

We dove twice, and during the first dive to get close to the dolphins, we spent about 30 minutes in the water, which left many women feeling quite groggy. There were many beginners in snorkeling, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication or purchasing and wearing a motion sickness band. There were quite a few people on the boat who looked exhausted, so please make sure to prepare adequately for warmth.

早起きの部で、合計４０名近くでのツアー参加者が居ましたがこれがとっても多いんじゃないかなと感じました。。
送迎時間はピッタリ。とても気さくなスタッフさんから日本語で説明を受け、港に着いたらレンタルグッズをもらいウェットスーツに着替えます。海外の方は１割程度とほぼ日本人。。
船が出向してすぐにスタッフさんの自己紹介を終えるとイルカに遭遇！！

ただし、良い意味でイルカには触ってはいけないし追いかけてもいけません！！あくでもイルカの群れが泳いでいるのをこちらも海中から覗き見るという感じです。

なので他のツアーの方などが近くにいると相当な数の人間が海に広がっているのでイルカもなかなか近寄ってくれません。当然といえば当然かもですが。。。
それでも満足な方であれば非常に稀有な経験ができると思いましたが、正直想像していたよりも近くで泳ぐイルカと一緒に泳げている感覚にはなれませんでした。
ちょっと期待値が高すぎたかなと。それを望むならプライベートツアーじゃないと無理かもしれませんが、４０名近くはさすがに多すぎるように思いました。効率を考えると仕方ないかもしれませんが、本当にイルカを驚かせないように近づいてもらうためにはもっと少人数のツアーだとよかったなと感じました。
２回ダイブするのですが、１回目のイルカに近寄るダイブで３０分くらい海に浸かっているのでこの時点で相当数な女性がグロッキー状態になっておりました。シュノーケリング初心者の方が多かったそうですが、酔い止め薬を飲んでおいたり酔い止めバンドを購入して装着しておくことをお勧めしますよ。船上でもはいてる方やぐったりしている方は多かったので、防寒対策もしっかりとご準備ください。

They provided important safety tips for being in the ocean (like avoiding contact with sea turtles due to potential fines and bacteria) and suggested not to sleep during certain hours to avoid seasickness, which was very considerate and reassuring. Announcements were made in both English and Japanese, so even those who are not confident in English can feel at ease.

- Once we boarded the boat, the hospitality of the crew was absolutely amazing! They struck a perfect balance between giving us space and being cheerful and engaging, while also being incredibly attentive and considerate. I believe it's rare to find such high-quality service even in various customer service settings within Japan. (I somehow became a fan, and honestly, I wasn't that interested in dolphins or the ocean, but since returning home, I've been following Dolphin & You's Instagram constantly.)

- We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of spinner dolphins right away! Also, it was my first time snorkeling, but it wasn't too difficult.

- Even if you don't see dolphins, you'll definitely leave satisfied with the crew's dance performances on the boat, activities like the water trampoline and air slide, and the delicious burgers grilled right there on the spot.

- By the way, I have a terrible tendency to get seasick, so unfortunately, I couldn't stay in the water for long and spent more time on the boat, but I still had a great time. I had the burger after getting back to the hotel when it was cold, but it was still fantastic! It's one of the best burgers I've ever had in Hawaii. ・ハシナガイルカの群れにも運良くすぐに出会えました！また、初シュノーケリングでしたがそんなに難しくなかったです

・たとえイルカを見られなかったとしても、船上でのクルーのダンスや、水上トランポリン&エアースライダーなどのアクティビティ、その場でグリルして焼く絶品のバーガーなど、絶対満足して帰れます。

・ちなみに私はひどい「波酔い」体質で、残念ながら長く海にはいっていられず、船の上にいる時間が長かったのですが、それでも楽しめました。バーガーも船を降りてホテルに帰ってから冷めたのを頂いたのですがそれでも絶品！ハワイで食べたバーガーの中で1、2を争う美味しさです。バンズが紫色でびっくりしますがクセもなく美味しいです（笑）

It was my first time horseback riding, and I was very satisfied after just one hour. Before the ride, there was an explanation in English, but it included gestures, so even if you don't understand English, you can somewhat grasp the information. There were other participants (foreigners) besides us, and we had a group of five plus one guide for the ride. During the ride, the guide spoke to us in slow English (asking things like where we were from). They were very kind, which was great. At one point, the horse stopped moving, but the guide handled it well. It was cloudy that day, but the greenery made for a very pleasant experience. It's a bit far from Waikiki, but I recommend it for beginners.

The sandbar was knee-deep in shallow areas. Since I participated in January and there was some wind, it was a bit chilly. I participated in a long-awaited tour to swim with dolphins. An hour before the meeting time, the hotel staff gave us a morning call, confirmed the pickup time and location, and provided explanations, which was very helpful for us since we are not morning people.

The bus that picked us up had a monitor that explained the rules to follow when meeting wild dolphins and how to wear life jackets, allowing us to join the tour without any anxiety. Once we arrived at the port, we used the restroom and boarded the boat to set off!

Onboard, there was a tour guide who spoke Japanese, a photographer, and a lifeguard, all of whom were cheerful and played music, dancing with us. We had a great time without feeling seasick while heading to the dolphin spot. However, for those participating in the winter early morning tour, it might be a good idea to rent a wetsuit due to the cold wind and water temperature.

When we anchored at the dolphin spot, it was finally time to enter the sea! Guided by the crew, when I looked down, I saw a large group of dolphins swimming gracefully within reach. I was so moved when they came right beneath us that I got goosebumps! They came close to us about four times, and I was healed by the sight of the baby dolphins and their squeaky sounds.

Later, while we were heading to the next snorkeling spot, we encountered a pod of whales! We were lucky to see them blowing water and raising their tails just 50 meters away. When we arrived at the next spot and went snorkeling, we were able to see a mother and baby sea turtle swimming on a large rock. They were so cute, and as I watched them from above, time flew by. There were also kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a slide from the boat available, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

When we returned to the boat, the captain was grilling hamburgers for us, and having lunch surrounded by the great nature of mountains and the sea was incredibly delicious. On the way back to the port, they even played the ukulele and performed hula dancing, and the kind and cheerful staff made the tour even more enjoyable. It was truly a fantastic experience!

クルーに案内されて下を見てみると、イルカの大群が手の届きそうなところで優雅に泳いでいて、私たちの真下にきてくれた時は鳥肌がたつくらい感動しました！その後も4回くらい近くへ来てくれて、子供のイルカやキューキューという鳴き声に癒されました。
その後、次のシュノーケリングスポットへ船を走らせていると、なんとクジラの群れに遭遇！潮を吹いて、尾ひれを上げている様子がすぐ50M先で見ることができてラッキーでした！
次のスポットへ到着してシュノーケリングをしていると、大きな岩の上で泳いでいるウミガメの親子を見ることができました。とてもかわいくてボーッと上の方から眺めているとあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいましたが、他にもカヤック、スタンドアップパドル、船からの滑り台など用意されていて、みなさんそれぞれ楽しんでいるようでした。
船に戻るとキャプテンがハンバーガーをグリル機で焼いて待っていてくれて、大自然の山と海に囲まれながら食べるはランチは最高においしかったです。
港に帰る船上でもウクレレを持ってフラダンスしてくれたり、親切で明るいスタッフの方々がツアーを更に盛り上げて下さって本当に楽しかったです！！

In January, I participated in a tour with my fourth-grade child. Most of the participants were Japanese.

First, after arriving at the port and before boarding the boat, we had to put on fins and wetsuits. If the sizes don’t fit on the first try, it can get hectic, so I recommend acting quickly, including using the restroom after getting off the bus.

Shortly after departure, we spotted a pod of dolphins, which was exciting. However, since the pod was large and scattered, it was difficult to see, so we spent some time looking for another group of dolphins. It took a while, but I appreciated the cheerful performance by the staff, which made the waiting time enjoyable.

Finally, we found a pod! After a brief explanation of snorkeling, we, as first-timers, cautiously entered the water. For a while, we were just trying to get used to the water, but we were able to see the dolphins three times. Everything was exactly as promised. I booked this for myself, 46 yr old mom and my family of 4, kids ages 13, 11 and 9 and Hubby. I chose this tour based on the pick-up time from our hotel and the hot lunch. Other tours had earlier times and offered cold cuts. We took the tour from the Sheraton Waikiki.
The boat and snorkeling equipment were in good condition - the location was amazing and just like the brochure.
The hamburgers were satisfying - we were happy to eat them.
We saw about a dozen Sea Turtles - this made my kids very happy.
The reef snorkle was great for me - but felt short.
Staff was excellent, very helpful and congenial - one even played a guitar during lunch - keeping the ambiance light and loose. They managed boat safety and maneuvering well.
You do not need to have athletic ability- just know how to breath and float and you can enjoy it. The seas were extremely mild and I did not get sick or feel nauseous as I am prone to.

The bus did break down headed up Likelike hwy. The tour operators had a replacement bus on site in about 15 minutes so the inconvenience was minimal. They didn't exactly keep us well appraised of the situation but it was managed well- enough.

I was so excited when I finally saw wild dolphins from the boat. They were jumping around in large groups, and occasionally they even showed off twist jumps like in an aquarium show, which was amazing. Once I got into the water, I only saw a pod of dolphins once, but a huge group swam right underneath me while I was floating! I brought my iPhone in a waterproof case, but I couldn't operate it well underwater, so I couldn't take any photos of the dolphins. If you want to take pictures underwater, I definitely recommend using an underwater camera. I encountered sea turtles several times. They swam right up to where we were floating, and I was worried I might accidentally touch one.

On the boat, the friendly crew kept the atmosphere lively and even showed us a wonderful hula dance. I enjoyed a delicious hamburger for lunch. During the free time for snorkeling, there were plenty of fun options available, like a slide, trampoline, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Since I participated at a discounted rate, I was personally satisfied with the experience, but I think it would have been better if there were a few more opportunities to swim with the dolphins at the regular price. By the way, the crew mentioned that they saw a whale on the way back, but there was no announcement made to the group, so I missed it.

ランチのハンバーガーも美味しく頂きました。シュノーケリングの自由時間には、滑り台やトランポリン、カヌー、スタンドアップパドルなどなど、遊べるオプションが充実しています。
モニター価格での参加でしたので、個人的には満足な内容でしたが、一般料金で参加の場合はもう少しイルカと泳ぐポイントが多かったらいいかなと思いました。因みに、帰り際にクルーがクジラも見れたと言っていましたが、特に全体に向けてのお知らせは無かったので私は見ることが出来ませんでした。

I took my daughter on a ride at gunstock ranch as a 12th birthday gift. We arrived 40 mins before check in and watched the horses get saddled up, and had a chance to see the newborn baby sheep! The guide, Garrett, was incredibly friendly and more then happy to answer all her questions and calm her nerves before the ride began. The 600 acre, family owned ranch is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing views the whole hour. Caves that have been used for TV scenes, big open fields of cattle, wild boars running around, rainbow etc. I would definitely return for more rides in the future, and will be recommending it to all my friends!

I was surprised how accessible the tour was! I've never seen a motor coach with a wheelchair lift before. Our guide, Mike, was top notch! One important suggestion: call well in advance to schedule wheelchair transportation. I actually had to change our tour date, but it worked out perfectly. I also recommend the longer tour. We were only able to get through about 1/3 of the audio tour, which I also highly recommend. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

It was really cold. I would think twice about doing this during this time of year. When we arrived at the sandbar and got into the water, I was shocked by the coldness and chill as the water reached up to my face (I'm 155 cm tall). The sandbar itself wasn't too cold since it was shallow, but you need to be careful when returning to the boat as you have to pass through deeper areas again. While wrapped in beach towels, everyone was shivering quite a bit. However, we got to see sea turtles, and their cuteness made me take some photos! This lifted my spirits a little! The hamburger for lunch was tasty, but it was just too cold and there were too many people, so I couldn't eat slowly.

Finally, for snorkeling. I didn't go into the water due to the cold, but a few people stayed on the boat like me. About half of the group mustered the courage to go into the water, while the rest eagerly jumped in. My friend bravely went in and said it was like a scene from an aquarium. The water was warm, but! The men coming out of the water were also shivering. They do provide warm drinks, but a single paper cup doesn't warm you up enough... For those participating during this time, you absolutely need two beach towels and a thick outer layer that you can wear over your swimsuit!

Lastly, be careful about where you sit on the boat. The bench in the middle front (where people stop when coming out of the water, at the top of the stairs) is also where the equipment is placed. Plus, more and more people keep coming out of the water, so you can't sit comfortably. I wish they had kept that area clear from the start. It was cold, my belongings got wet, I couldn't eat lunch slowly, and there was nowhere to sit. I would have appreciated a bit more consideration.

それと最後に、船に乗り座る位置に注意を。前の真ん中(海からあがる時、階段あがって正面にある)のベンチは、海からあがった人が一旦立ち止まる場でもあり、使った道具の置き場になります。ランチ時には、そのベンチ前に人が並び。ベンチの下に荷物を入れるのですが、底は既に濡れており、更に上からも濡れます！しかも、どんどん海からあがってくるので落ち着いて座れません。できれば、最初から空けるようにしておいてほしかったです。寒く、荷物も濡れ、昼食もゆっくり食べられず、居場所もなく。ちょっと配慮がほしかったです。
