I participated in an all-Hawaii cruise tour. I joined because I was longing to see the beautiful sandbars like in the pictures, but unfortunately, the water was deeper than knee-high... And above all, it was very cold since it was March. The snorkeling was quite chilly due to the low seawater temperature. However, the delicious BBQ lunch made up for those downsides! I had my first horseback riding experience with my 9-year-old son and my husband. My horse and my husband's horse were calm and followed the staff's horse, but there were times when my son's horse wouldn't move away from the line, which made me think that my son might have been a bit nervous, and that might have been communicated to the horse. The horses started walking at the staff's cue. We were able to leisurely explore nature and ride the horses, which was very soothing.

One disappointing thing was that the staff explained how to ride and the precautions in English, so I couldn't understand much. However, my son seemed to have enjoyed it and said he would like to ride again when we come back.

It was January, but the weather was nice and we had a great time. We saw a lot of sea turtles, and the hamburgers we ate on the beautiful ocean were the best! My husband and I participated together. The weather in Honolulu wasn't great, so I was wondering how it would turn out, but Kailua was on the other side of the mountain, and the weather was perfect!

For an additional fee, we rented bikes and went to Lanikai Beach beyond Kailua Beach. It was unbelievably beautiful. The staff member helped us reserve pancakes from Boots & Kimo's, and even though it was takeout, we were able to eat without waiting in line! Shopping at Whole Foods Market and Target was also a breeze on the bike.

I was really happy that we stopped by Leonard's to have malasadas on the way back! Thank you very much.

サンドバーではバレーのネットが設置されており自由に遊ぶことができます。
ボールが1個しかなかったのが残念…。。

昼食はBBQと記載がありましたが、船で焼いたお肉のパティをパンで挟んで食べるハンバーガーでした！結構ボリュームもありましたが、余りがあればおかわりもできます‼︎‼︎

ウミガメは1月中旬でも7〜9匹見ることができました‼︎

シュノーケリング後、温かい飲み物も用意されており大満足の一日でした。
※水着を着替えるところはないので、船のデッキかトイレで早めに着替えることをお勧めします！

I wasn't able to swim with the sea turtles, but I was really happy to see so many of them. The staff members were all very nice, and I had a great time. The hamburger for lunch was delicious, with the patty freshly grilled. The sandbar was shallow, about knee-deep. I would like to visit again during a time when the tide is completely out. I wasn't very lucky with the snorkeling, as the water was murky and not very clear, but I could see colorful fish and coral reefs quite well.

ウミガメと一緒に泳ぐまでは出来なかったがたくさん見れて嬉しかった。スタッフの方々も良い方ばかりで楽しめた。ランチのハンバーガーもパティ焼き立てで美味しかった。サンドバーは浅いところで膝くらい。完全に潮が引く時期にも行ってみたい。シュノーケルは運が悪かったのか水が濁っていてあまりキレイとは言えなかったがカラフルな魚やサンゴ礁はよく見えた。

I previously had a horseback riding experience at Kualoa Ranch, but the movie tour aside, the horseback riding felt very much like a "tourist attraction"—it was crowded, and we all went in a line together.

At Gunstock Ranch, my 2-year-and-10-month-old daughter could ride a pony, while my husband and I chose to ride horses. A staff member walked with my daughter's pony, and we followed behind on our own horses. There aren't many places that allow small children to ride alone, so it was a valuable experience! We chose a 20-minute ride, which was more than enough time for little ones! The grounds are incredibly spacious, allowing us to feel the great outdoors, and afterward, they let my daughter brush the pony and give it treats, which was really friendly of them. I definitely want to go back next time!

*However, there were no staff members who spoke Japanese. I don't think it would be too much of a problem, though.

以前クアロア牧場で乗馬体験もしたのですが、映画地のツアーはともかく乗馬に関しては「観光向け」という感じで、混んでいるし、みんなでぞろぞろ行く感じでした。

このガンストック牧場は2歳10か月の娘がポニー、私と夫は馬と選べて、係の女の人が娘のポニーを引いて歩いてくれ、私たちは後ろから自分たちでついていくという感じです。小さい子1人で乗らせてくれるところはないので、貴重な体験でした！
20分のライドを選びましたが、小さい子には十分すぎる時間です！
敷地はものすごく広くて大自然を感じられるし、終わった後で娘にポニーのブラッシングや、おやつをあげさせてくれたりして、本当にフレンドリーでした(^^)次回も絶対に行きたいです！

※ただ日本語が話せるスタッフさんはいなかったです。
そんなに困る事はないと思いますが。

It was rainy on the day, but I had a great time snorkeling! We played beach volleyball at the sandbar, and it was fun! The hamburgers for lunch were delicious, made with freshly grilled meat!

Oahu is beautiful and the tour was a Great way to experience it. Unfortunately, it did rain for part of the trip. Greg, our driver and guide is very personable and knowledgeable. He really aims to please. I would say that we were a little too packed on the bus, it would have been preferable to have been on a smaller tour. Overall, you certainly get your monies worth!
