This is a really convenient luau. In good walking distance or a cab ride away from all the hotels and incredibly delicious food. Be sure to get the Golden Circle, because we did and we had excellent front row type of seating. CHECK IN EARLY TO BYPASS THE CROWD!!!
Some bad "Cons" about this is:
there is no good/ romantic picture taking scenery, chairs are situated very close to eachother so your banging elbows with the next person, its on the top of a parking lot structure and its just surrounded by a bunch of buildings.
Staff was friendly, water is always provided, the Food is BETTER tasting from all the other Luau's I have been too.. so that is a plus.

I wasn't sure about a Luau IN Waikiki but this one was really enjoyable. You don't have to take a bus 45 minutes each way or more outside of Waikiki, as you have to do with the other Luau's, which is a real plus! The food was excellent with a big assortment so there's really something that everyone would like. There's not really a bad seat in the house either. Of course we were sitting front row and it was pretty cool. Worth the extra bucks, in my opinion. The performers were really top notch. I'm not sure what I expected but they definitely exceeded anything I could have imagined. Definitely the best fire-dancers I've ever seen and I live here, so I've seen many. The whole experience was really fun and impressive. A great way to experience the culture of the islands.

We easily could have spent all day at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and definitely hope to go back and do so someday! But for our 6-year old daughter, that would have been far too much. She enjoyed the canoe ride, the tattoos, the leaf weaving, and the poi demonstration. She is still talking about the dinner. Us grown-ups also loved the experience. The luau and the after show were exceptional! Far better than a previous, more expensive and over-rated experience on Maui. I think that if you only do one tourist activity on Oahu, this should be it, including the show. The HA show is WELL worth the price!

This is a MUST DO! in Hawaii and booking thru Hawaii activities was easy and they call to confirm my pick up time and gave all the details again. From the time we got on the bus it was laughter from Everyone! Polynesian CC was just way beyond our expectations - we could not get enough. By the end of the day we were pooped! If you really want to get your $$'s worth and see Hawaii for what it is...DO THIS TOUR! you will not regret it. (Then again who regret anything in Hawaii?) I say BIG THANKS! to Henry and Hawaii Activities!! Mahalo again!

It was my honeymoon! I was torn between this and a three-star option, but I definitely think this one is better. There are crew members who are second-generation Japanese, so language is not a problem at all, which is reassuring. The ship is smaller than I expected (it has sails) and feels like a luxurious cruise.
The food is a buffet. You can take whatever you like whenever you want, but there are no refills, so if you don't eat the good stuff early on, it will be gone (laughs). However, overall, the flavors are delicious even for Japanese people, and I enjoyed a lot of it! (Desserts are served later too☆)
The sunset is truly beautiful! There’s nothing obstructing the fireworks, so it’s really nice.
On the last day of my honeymoon, I made some wonderful memories!

My sister and I had lived on Oahu for 5 1/2 years in the 50s and returned for her 70th birthday. The PCC was not in existence when we lived there but I had visited it with my husband in the 70s. Since we didn't think we would travel to Hawaii again, sis and I decided to go "whole hog" and booked the Super Ambassador package for this outing and luau.
To say it was well worth the extra money is putting it mildly! We were treated like royalty from the minute we got off the bus.
Beke (from Mongolia) was our personal guide for the day and gave us each a beautiful shell lei which identified us all day as SAs. Beke couldn't have been more helpful - she carried any extras we had (umbrellas, sweaters - you name it), got us ponchos when it started to rain, dried off the seats we had to sit on for performances after it rained; if there was anything to be done, she did it and with the friendliest attitude we could have wished for. We practically had this 50 ft sailboat to ourselves. a 1 1/2 hour cruise along the shores of waikiki. a beautiful sunset and saw humpback whales surfacing and "sounding". a fantastic way to spend our last evening in honolulu. Above all, having dinner while watching the sunset and the show afterward gave everyone goosebumps and filled us with satisfaction. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend participating. I'm sure it will be a wonderful memory of Hawaii.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a MUST SEE when visiting the Islands! It is an amazing full day of learning the culture of the people who established the Islands. Each Village that you will visit will provide you with a description of their creation and demonstrate their unique culture through dance, song, and demonstrations. The interesting thing about this day is that nearly every individual who is working at the Center is a full-time student at BYU of Hawaii which is located next door. Overall the tour was very good with visits to many points of interest around Honolulu in the morning and then tour the PCC in the afternoon. Dinner was quite nice and the "breath of life" show as wonderful!
However, we wish that the driver would let us know that there would not be any time for lunch once inside the PCC as the activities inside the PCC would be jam packed. The bus driver should gave us 15 to 30 more minutes inside the Dole Plantation Center so that we could get a light lunch before we head off to the PCC.

Initially, it was explained that the tour, which usually takes two days, would be completed in one day, and I truly had a fulfilling day. Our guide, Kerina, was very entertaining, and we were able to learn about Hawaii's history and culture as well. I believe there are many Oahu tours available, but I highly recommend this one. Moreover, our driver, Minoru, who has lived in Hawaii for 28 years, was very kind and easy to communicate with, which made us feel at ease. For us, who are new to Hawaii, it became a wonderful memory. They even held a craft class during our lunch break and took us to Pearl Harbor, which was not originally planned, and I was very moved by that. I was surprised and touched to hear the story from the novel "Eternal Zero" presented as a true story. This tour of "Oahu" was so fulfilling that I think it would be worthwhile just to meet the guides. Thank you very much.

I highly recommend the Golden Circle Premier seats. You don't need to arrive early at the meeting place, but if you go ahead of time when heading to the venue after gathering, you will definitely get good seats.
This time, I was able to fully enjoy the "Waikiki Starlight Show" from the very front row, close to the stage! While listening to live music, there was delicious food (a buffet full of Hawaiian dishes) and a welcome event (lei, photo opportunities, ring toss, tattoos, conch shell contest, hula lessons) before the show, and I was completely satisfied and full without getting bored at all.
