I chose a plan without meals, but those who had meals seemed to be enjoying themselves with activities like hula lessons. You can order drinks just before taking your seat, but payment is only accepted by card, and Amex cannot be used, so be careful. The show itself mainly features slightly older songs by artists like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, but even if you don't know the songs, I felt it was professional entertainment that could still get the crowd excited. Local singers also participate, performing cover songs as well as their own hits. They even perform songs from Disney's Moana. Perhaps because it was a weekday, only the VIP seats were filled, while the other areas were sparse. I think a bit more creativity is needed to make me want to see it two or three times.

食事なしのプランにしたが、食事のある人はフラのレッスンなどのおもてなしがあって、それなりに楽しそうにしていた。ドリンクは席につく手前で注文できるがカード決済のみで、なおかつAmexが使えないので注意。ショー自体はプレスリーやマイケルジャクソンなど少し古めの曲が中心だが、知らなくてもそれなりに盛り上げてくれるプロフェッショナルのエンタメだと感じた。地元の歌手も参加し、カバー曲に加えて持ち歌も披露してくれる。ディズニーのモアナの曲もやってくれる。平日だったためかVIP席のみが埋まっており、それ以外の店はまばら。2回3回と見たいと思うにはもう少し工夫がいるのではと思った。

During our honeymoon in Hawaii, we made a reservation because we wanted to see a hula dance. The food was served buffet style with a wide variety, and we were very satisfied. The beef, in particular, was delicious. The menu was also written in Japanese, which made it easy to understand. Additionally, we enjoyed listening to live ukulele performances and watching dances while having our meal.

After dinner, the show featured hula dancing, singing, and fire dancing, which was a lot of fun. It became one of our best memories of Hawaii! I highly recommend it.

ご飯はブュッフェスタイルで品数も多く大満足でした。特に牛肉が美味しかったです。メニューに日本語も書いてあり分かりやすかったです。また、生のウクレレ演奏を聴いたり、ダンスを見ながら食事を楽しめました。
食事の後のショーではフラダンスや歌、ファイヤーダンスなどを見ることができてとても楽しかったです。ハワイの最高の思い出になりました！ぜひおすすめします。

I participated in this activity because I wanted to see authentic hula.

First, it was buffet time. The welcome drink, Mai Tai, was fresh and a refreshing drink with a hint of alcohol. It was easy to drink and delicious.

The buffet was average, nothing special. During the meal, hula dancers came to our table and performed beautiful dances multiple times. It was moving!

Finally, it was time for "Rock-a-Hula." They introduced the history of music in Hawaii in chronological order. It was a fun and vibrant show. Wonderful!

In the second half, we had the much-anticipated Elvis and Michael. The quality met my expectations. It felt like a good job!

The greeting time for commemorative photos was also lovely. I managed to get a two-shot with both of them.

It was a very satisfying time.

まずはブッフェの時間。
ウエルカムドリンクのマイタイはフレッシュで少しアルコールの効いた爽やかドリンクでした。飲みやすくて美味しい。
ブッフェは、可もなく不可もなく。普通かなぁ。
食事中にテーブルの側までフラダンサーが来てくれて、素敵な踊りを何度も披露してくれました。感激〜！
いよいよ、「ロック・ア・フラ」の時間。
ハワイでの音楽の歴史を、年代順に紹介して下さいます。
楽しく華やかなショーです。素晴らしい！
後半は、お待ちかねのエルビスとマイケル。
期待にそぐわぬ完成度。Good Job！って感じ。
記念撮影のグリーティングタイムも素敵。
ちゃっかりと、お二人とのツーショットもゲットしましたよ。

I'll keep this short and to the point. It really wasn't what most would consider a Luau. You're in a tiki-like environment in a mall for the meal and then you go to an inside theater for the show. The show is more of a Vegas-like show primarily consisting of an Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonator. The show was honestly pretty good, but just wasn't what was expected at a Luau.

On a good note, the food was decent and the performers were pretty good. If you just want a reasonably priced meal and a show then this is for you. If you're looking for a more traditional Hawaiian Luau then look somewhere else.

After completing the check-in, I was seated at 5:30 PM, and the buffet started at 6:30 PM, so as mentioned in other reviews, the wait felt long. During the waiting time, you can experience traditional Hawaiian dance and music. Once the buffet begins, guests are guided to the food in order by table. There was a lot of food available, so I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely for about an hour. Since the buffet is not located in just one spot, I recommend looking around to gather your food. (It was a bit hard to find the roast beef station.)

Regarding the show, the stage was larger and more visible than I expected. There were rock stars from different generations, and as expected in a place known for entertainment, the audience was engaged and never bored. It was great to see the fire dance as well. At the end, you can take photos with the performers when exiting. I would like to go again if I visit Hawaii.

受付を済まして17時半に着席をしてから、ビュッフェ開始は18時半でしたので
他の方の口コミにもある通り待ち時間は長く感じました。
待ち時間の間はハワイの伝統的なダンスや音楽を体験することができます。
ビッフェが開始されると席ごとに順番に案内されます。
料理はたくさん用意されているので、約1時間弱ゆっくり食事を楽しむことができました。
ビュッフェの食事は1箇所ではないので、周辺を見渡して食事を取ることをおすすめします。
(目当てのローストビーフの場所が分かりづらかった)

ショーに関しては思った以上にステージが大きく見やすかったです。
世代が違うロックスターも登場しましたが、さすがエンターテイメントの本場ということもあり客席は退屈することなく盛り上がっていました。
ファイヤーダンスも見ることができて良かったです。
最後、退場の際は出演者と写真を撮ることもできます。
またハワイに来たら行きたいと思いました。

The whole experience at the center was amazing, but the food at the Gateway Buffet was absolutely faaaaaaaaantastic! What a great way to spend the day in Hawaii, and see so many different aspects of the many Polynesian cultures that are featured at the center. Also, the evening show is a definite must-see for anyone who comes to Oahu!

I was a bit anxious because the pickup bus took a long time to arrive. The guide who showed up after the scheduled time directed us to a bus that had been parked a distance away for over 20 minutes, so I wonder if the guide was late? We also had to wait a bit for the return bus, so while the tour was good, the bus experience was a bit lacking.

The tour provided guidance in Japanese, and the staff were very friendly to the little kids, which made it enjoyable for everyone! The sandbar was about waist to chest deep, and my 11-month-old was able to have their first experience in the ocean with a float. The hamburgers on the boat were also very delicious, and we saw several sea turtles swimming from the boat! The snorkeling area was larger than I expected; my husband went around the whole area, but I was scared, so I enjoyed snorkeling nearby, and I was still able to see many fish and corals. They kindly taught us how to snorkel, and if you’re not a strong swimmer, they provided flotation devices.

The weather was nice, so I was able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii and had a fulfilling day.

ピックアップのバスが中々来なくて少し不安になりました。時間を過ぎて現れた案内人が案内してくれたバスは20分以上前から離れたところに停まっていたため、案内人が遅れていたのかな？帰りのバスもすこし待たされたため、ツアーは良かったけどバスがちょっとイマイチだったかな。
ツアーは日本語で案内もしてくれるし、小さい子どもにもたくさん声をかけてくれて楽しく参加することができました！サンドバーは腰から胸くらいの深さで、11ヶ月の子どもも浮き輪で初めての海デビューをすることができました。船上でのハンバーガーもとても美味しかったし、ウミガメも船から何匹も泳いでいるところがみえました！シュノーケリングポイントは思ったより広くて、夫は一周まわってきましたが、私は怖かったので近くでシュノーケリングを楽しみましたが、それでもたくさんの魚やサンゴを見ることができました。シュノーケリングの仕方も優しく教えてくれるし、泳ぎが得意でなければ、浮具も貸してもらえていました。
天気も良かったので、ハワイのきれいな景色も堪能して、一日充実して過ごすことができました。

My wife and I enjoyed the sunset cruise. Although it was an issue or two, they should try to be resolved the last time I took the cruise. I was able to be out on the outside on the deck at the sunset. Got to take some amazing pictures . This time we are in line for the buffet when is sunset. I think the time should be adjusted if the time is earlier when the sun sets. The whole purpose of a sunset cruise is to be able to watch the sunset and not be called to the buffet table to get your meal. My wife really enjoyed the Buffay food. She said it was very good as a picky eater. She ate a little bit of everything and enjoyed it.

I will verify the timing of other cruises before I would take the cruise again as the whole purpose was to be able to watch the sun set

Since I didn't go early, my seat was in a bad location, like behind the scenes. I recommend arriving early and lining up if you want to see from a good seat.

早く行かなかったので場所が悪く舞台裏の様なところだった。良い席で見たい方は早めに行って並ぶ事をお勧めします。

I enjoyed delicious food at a buffet that truly captured the essence of Hawaii. They kept the atmosphere lively with shows, and I appreciated their attentiveness and friendly interactions.

I visited Hawaii for my honeymoon, and I was moved by a live performance of a ukulele rendition of a honeymoon song. I also experienced "Rock-a-Hula," the largest Hawaiian show in Waikiki that combines Polynesian culture with rock music, featuring well-known cast members. I believe such shows are hard to find elsewhere.

Personally, I found the fire dance show to be a lot of fun. I would love to join this tour again when I come back to Hawaii.

ハワイらしさを感じる美味しいご飯をビッフェでいただきました。退屈することなくショーをして盛り上げてくれたり、気を使ってくれて声をかけていただきました。
今回ハワイは新婚旅行で訪れましたが、ウクレレでハネムームの曲を生演奏してくて感動♪
また「ロック・ア・フラ」ポリネシアンとロックを融合と言うことで有名キャストも楽しめるワイキキ最大のハワイアンショーを見せていただきましたが、なかなかこういうショーは他で見れないと思います。
個人的にはファイヤーダンスショーが楽しかったです。
またハワイに来た時は参加したいツアーです。

The snorkeling and sandbar experience was very enjoyable, and the lunch was delicious. During the morning tour, the tide was high. It was a bit disappointing that the water was up to my waist at the sandbar, but I was satisfied because the weather was nice.

シュノーケリング・サンドバー体験はとても楽しかったですし、ランチもとても美味しかったです。午前のツアーで満ち潮でした。サンドバーは腰ぐらいまで水があり残念でしたが、天気は良かったので満足です。

This was a great multimedia show that we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Pick-up was perfect, complimentary Mai Tai was lovely, but the sunset was hard to savour in the middle of queuing, collecting food and eating! The food was okay.
We chose the trip for the sunset and traditional dancing, but the dancing was evidently lovely BUT hard to see as the girls were not raised up and one needed to look round other people and tables.
We had a nice wander to the top of the boat which was great! BUT the ‘entertainment’ was done by a guitarist who couldn’t sing above a certain pitch and girls who followed his very out of tune singing. I suppose the other passengers got up and took part, as they felt that was expected but we found that part excruciating!
Overall not worth the money.

The location is amazing!
The buffet is fantastic!
The variety of food and the seasoning were really good.
Each family received a pineapple, and we couldn't finish it.
The dessert cakes and ice cream were delicious.

The show was impressive from our seats in the front center, and at the end, we got to interact with the show members, which was a memorable experience.

I used this for my honeymoon trip. Since it was my first trip to Hawaii, I wanted to see a hula dance, so I booked this plan, which had good reviews and high ratings, and also included a meal. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there was a monitor plan available, which I took advantage of.

The dinner was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, and I thought the quality was good, especially since they carved the roast beef right in front of us. The welcome drink, Mai Tai, could be chosen between alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. During the meal, several people performed hula dances, creating a fun atmosphere.

The main rock hula show prohibited video recording, but photography without flash was allowed. I don't understand much English, but I still enjoyed it thanks to the music and dance. I would recommend this to beginners visiting Hawaii.

初めてのハワイ旅行だったので、フラダンスは見たいと思い、食事も出来る、口コミも良く評価の高かったこちらのプランを予約しました。
平日だったからか、モニタープランがあったのでそちらを利用。
夕食はビュッフェでしたが、種類も多く、ローストビーフ?は目の前で切っていただけるなど、クオリティは良かったと思います。
ウェルカムドリンクのマイタイはアルコールとノンアルコールから選べました。食事中も数名でフラダンスをしていて楽しい雰囲気で食事ができました。
メインのロックフラショーは動画撮影は禁止でしたが、カメラ撮影はフラッシュなしで可能。
英語はあまりわからないですが、それでも音楽とダンスなので十分に楽しめました。
ハワイビギナーな人にはオススメしたいです。

From the beginning to the end, everything was absolutely beautiful and fun, but seeing my grandaughter and the sparkles in her eyes left me speechless.

Went on a Friday, the boat was crowded and the seating was shoulder to shoulder. I could not really see the show from where I was seated I just had to listen to it and get a glimpse whenever I could. The fireworks were nice but EVERYONE on the boat was trying to see them so you have to get out of your seat early to get a good spot to see.

Despite the weak yen... the quality was so good that I thought it was cheap! With this content at this price, it's the best!
It was my first time in Hawaii, and I was very satisfied.
It all started with receiving a lei around my neck, and I enjoyed the food while watching the dances and songs✨. Finally, I got to enjoy a fantastic show right in front of the stage, almost within reach✨.
I struggled with English and participated alone, but I had a great time. I think I could have enjoyed it 1.5 times more if I understood English better!
I want to study English a bit more and participate again.

It was an amazing time! It felt like we were newlyweds again, all lovey-dovey. We got to see the sunset too, so I definitely feel like we want to do this again!

I participated because I wanted to see the fire dance and hula dance. The theater was very well constructed. Dancers and a famous local singer appeared, and it was very exciting from the start. Around the middle, impersonators of Elvis and Michael Jackson came out, and they danced to their famous songs with the dancers, which was really thrilling! The show itself lasts about an hour and a half, so it might be a good idea to use the restroom beforehand. I definitely want to see it again when I go to Hawaii!

ファイヤーダンスとフラダンスが見たくて参加しました。劇場もすごくしっかりとした作りでした。ダンサーと地元の有名な歌手？が登場し、最初からとても盛り上がりました。中盤くらいから、エルビスやマイケル・ジャクソンのそっくりさんが登場し、それぞれの有名な曲に合わせてダンサーさんと踊っててとても盛り上がれました！！劇場自体1時間半くらいあるので、最初に御手洗を済ませた方がいいかもしれません。またハワイに行ったら是非見に行きたいです！

Before the show, the meal was plentiful. During dinner, the staff performed dances, Hawaiian songs, and took requests for songs while we enjoyed cocktails. Moving to the venue, the seating had a tiered arrangement, making it very easy to see.

As the show began, there were hula dances, rock dances, and fire dances, all flowing beautifully with great singing. Listening to nostalgic songs from the '80s, there was also a Michael Jackson impersonator whose dancing was amazing, and before we knew it, the time flew by to the end. It was wonderful to see this show in Waikiki, and I would love to see an Elvis performance next time.

会場へ移動、席は段差があってとても見やすい。
ショーが始まりフラダンス、ロックダンス、ファイヤーダンス、とても流れが良く歌もうまい。
80sの懐かし歌を聴き、またマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさん、ダンス最高で時間もあっという間にラスト。ワイキキでこのショーが見られとても良かった、今度はプレスリーも見たいな。

I was able to enjoy a lot of Hawaiian food, and since it was included in the tour price, I was very satisfied with the tour! Everything was delicious! At the macadamia nut farm, you can experience cracking and eating nuts for free, so definitely give it a try. The taste of freshly cracked macadamia nuts was fresh and incredibly delicious. Also, at Kahuku Farm, you can try fried banana spring rolls, and I also bought and tasted rambutan (lychee), which was juicy and really tasty, so I recommend it.

In Haleiwa, Matsumoto Shave Ice had a long line, so I tried Aoki's Shave Ice across the street. The atmosphere was really nice, and the taste was good, making it a hidden gem! It’s perfect for Instagram!

Takashi was our tour guide! I was sitting in the very back, but he kindly said I could come to the front if I couldn't hear the announcements well. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to see sea turtles safely, and at the end, he even prepared souvenirs for us, which I really appreciated! The in-car announcements felt like listening to the radio, making it enjoyable, and I could also take a nap when I got tired, making for a comfortable tour.

たくさんハワイらしい食べ物が食べられて、それもツアー料金に含まれているので満足度の高いツアーでした！しかも全部おいしかった〜！マカダミアナッツファームでは無料でナッツの殻を砕いて食べる体験ができるので、ぜひやってみてください。砕きたてのマカダミアナッツの味は新鮮でとっても美味しかったです。また、カフクファームではバナナの揚げ春巻きが食べられますが、さらに、ランブータン(ライチ)も買って食べてみたら、みずみずしくてすごくおいしかったのでおすすめです。
ハレイワの町では、マツモトシェイブアイスは並んでいたので道路の向かいにあるアオキズシェイブアイスを食べましたが、雰囲気がすごく良くて、味もおいしく穴場だなと思いました！インスタ映えします！


たかしさんがツアーガイドでした！1番後ろの席でしたが案内が聞こえにくかったら前に来ていいよって配慮してくださいました。一生懸命探してくれたおかげでウミガメも無事見れて、最後にはお土産まで用意してくださっていて至れり尽くせりの対応に感謝です！またラジオを聴いているかのような車内アナウンスで楽しく、疲れたら寝ることもできて快適なツアーでした。

It was a tour where I could enjoy various beaches and delicious food in Hawaii all in one day! We had snacks at each destination, so I ended up quite full (so much so that I didn't need dinner, haha). Thanks to this tour, I was able to visit famous spots in Hawaii beyond Waikiki!

This was my nth time in Hawaii, and I participated as a monitor. The buffet mainly featured pork, and there weren't many seafood options like poke. There were English speakers participating as well, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the Japanese attendees were being prioritized less. The show featured live singing and live music! I was surprised by the chubby Michael, who sounded similar (laughs). Rather than traditional hula dancing and fire shows, it was more of a mix with rock, so it might not be suitable for those who want to enjoy something more authentic and relaxed.

ハワイ何度目かでモニター参加しました。
バイキングは豚肉中心で、ポキなどの魚介系はあまりありませんでした。
英語圏の方も参加していたのですが、どうしても日本人は後回しにされている感じが否めなかったです。
ショーは生歌で生演奏でした！
声は似てるけれど太ったマイケルには驚きました（笑）
本格的なフラダンスやファイアーショーというよりも、ロックと掛け合わせなので、本格的なものをゆったり楽しみたい人には向かないかもしれないです。

Overall good experience, enjoyed venue , service and hawaiian dances Everyone seems to be in cheerful mood and in moments. As we are vegetarian- food was ok for us . Didn’t like patty prepared for us from Soya . I will recommend overall as memorable experience.

I'm glad I participated in this tour. The scenery is something that cannot be fully conveyed through photos. I was very satisfied with the variety of places we visited.

There were several activity companies for the sandbar, so I carefully chose this one. The key points were the long duration of the stay and the appealing hamburger lunch on the boat. The weather was great, and my excitement was high from the start. The female guide was very experienced, and it was nice that the group was divided into Japanese and English speakers. She took a lot of photos, and since we could practice snorkeling at the sandbar, my friends who were trying it for the first time seemed to enjoy it without any confusion. Everything was perfect until the end, and I can only say that I was glad to participate.

This trip to Hawaii only had this water activity planned, so it became a wonderful memory.

サンドバーへのアクティビティの会社はいくつもあったのでかなり吟味してここに決めました。ポイントは滞在時間が長い事、船上でのハンバーガーランチが魅力的だった事です。お天気も良くて始まりからテンションが上がりました。ガイドの女性もとても慣れていらして日本語と英語でグループ分けされていたのも良かったです。写真も沢山撮ってくれてサンドバーでシュノーケルの練習が出来たので初めての友人もシュノーケリングに戸惑う事なくとても楽しめたようです。最後まで完璧で参加して良かったの言葉しか出ませんでした。
今回のハワイは海遊びをこれしか予定していなかったのでとても良い思い出になりました。

I went on the first day of my trip to Hawaii, and it was so much fun that I forgot about my jet lag! The buffet dinner had a bit of a wait, but I ate until I was full. The show was in English, but the atmosphere in the venue created a sense of unity, and I was thrilled. The singing was truly impressive and captivating! The fire dance was also an amazing performance.

On the first night in Hawaii, I participated in this luau and show. The buffet at the luau had such a large portion that I couldn't finish it, but it was delicious. Above all, I was able to see the ukulele performance and hula dancing up close, and I really immersed myself in the Hawaiian atmosphere! I felt it was a great experience for the first day. It was our honeymoon, and they played and sang a Hawaiian wedding song on the ukulele, which became a wonderful memory for us. That was probably the best part of participating this time! The show even featured Elvis and Michael Jackson. Although they are from a different generation, I still enjoyed it! And the fire dance was amazing. I would have loved to see a bit more fire in the performance! I think it's a show that people who enjoy musicals would really like!

ハワイ1日目の夜にこちらのルアウ＆ショーに参加。
ルアウのビュッフェは盛られる量が多くて食べきれませんでしたが、美味しかったです。
何よりウクレレでの演奏とフラダンスを間近で見れて、ハワイの雰囲気にどっぷり浸かれました！
1日目で良かったなぁと思います。
ハネムーンだったんですが、ハワイのウェディングソングをウクレレで弾き語りしてもらい、とても思い出になりました。
それが今回参加して1番良かったことかなぁ♪
ショーではエルヴィスとマイケルジャクソンまで登場。世代ではないですが、楽しめました！
そしてファイヤーダンス(？)が凄かった。もう少し火を使った芸の割合が多いと嬉しかった！ミュージカルが好きな人は楽しめるショーだと思います！

The tour started with a coffee tasting at the office early in the morning, followed by malasadas, local food, nuts, garlic shrimp (for lunch), and banana spring rolls (I forgot the local name).

Despite that, I ended up having shave ice in Haleiwa... it was truly a tour that left my stomach very satisfied.

I also got to see turtles swimming, which was great.

朝イチからオフィスでのコーヒーの試飲から始まり、マラサダ、ローカルフード、ナッツ、ガーリックシュリンプ(ランチ)、バナナ春巻き？(ローカルな名前忘れました)がツアーの中に含まれています。
なのにハレイワでシェイブアイスを食べてしまうなんて…、ホントお腹が大満足なツアーでした。
亀さんが泳いでいるのも見れたし、良かったです。
