Since you can get sunburned a lot, please apply sunscreen generously!

The Star of Honolulu was awesome… what a great time me and my wife had… nice big ship lots of room… and what a show at the end… they do a great job getting us all in position out on the water for the sunset. I would highly recommend this option for a dinner sunset cruise… plenty of helpful staff and dinner service was superb…!!!!

It was lots of fun… the company we chose was great… easy pickup and return to your hotel area… people were super friendly and the breakfast part of it was a great option to choose… all good… the hike was awesome… be prepared though … water and light clothing… we went in August and it was very warm out even before sunrise. Excellent views… I would totally recommend this company for this event…!!!!! The views are amazing…!!!

In the morning, we had a cruise, followed by a location tour in the afternoon. The cruise involved transferring from a bus to a boat, and then to the cruise ship. On the cruise ship, there was an entertaining aspect where we got splashed with waves before reaching the turnaround point, and if you’re at the bow on the first floor, you will get soaked. Even on the second floor bow, you will get quite wet, so I think it’s fine to enjoy it there knowing that.

The lunch buffet was typically American and quite hearty, but we could also enjoy juice, fruits, lemon cake, and chocolate chip cookies. The movie location tour provided information in English about where filming took place, but it was in a field… and I dozed off a bit due to the bumps in the car. At the end, we had 10 minutes to take photos at a location with many fossil-like features.

The return bus started check-in after 3 PM, and we departed early, which was good since there wasn’t much to do. Overall, it was a fun day, and the guide was cheerful, making it a great experience.

午前中にクルーズ、午後からロケ地ツアーでした。
クルーズは初めにバス移動→舟→クルーズ船と乗り換えしていきます。
クルーズ船では折返し地点前から激しく波のしぶきを浴びるエンターテイメント性があり、一階の船首にいるとびしょ濡れになります。二階の船首でもかなりビショビショになりますので、それを承知で船首で楽しむもよしだと思います。
ランチブッフェはアメリカらしい大味ですが、ジュース、果物やレモンケーキ、チョコチップクッキーなども食べれます。
映画ロケ地ツアーは英語でここで撮影された〜等の案内がありますが、そこは原っぱで…車の揺れでウトウトしてしまいました。最後は化石風のものがたくさんの撮影場所で10分間各々撮影。
帰りのバスは15時すぎにはチェックインが始まりら早めに出発しました。することがなかったので、これはよかったです。
いずれも楽しく、案内役の方も陽気でよい一日となりました。

Great opportunity to see turtles and fish. Food was good. Staff was super friendly and there was ample parking at the marina. Overall we like it.

I used the Rock-a-Flush Show Luau for the first time!

It was our honeymoon in Hawaii, filled with first-time experiences! I was a bit anxious about fully enjoying Hawaii, so I booked this show to feel that Hawaiian vibe. To sum it up, I truly believe it was a great decision to make the reservation.

First, we received a beautiful lei made of fresh flowers! It was a bit exciting to receive that coveted lei from a hula girl, just like I had seen on TV! After that, we were kindly shown to our seats, and while enjoying a Mai Tai welcome drink and welcome pineapple, we were entertained by live ukulele performances for each guest, creating a welcoming atmosphere during the wait!

Then the luau began! We enjoyed beautiful hula dances by the hula girls and took part in an authentic hula lesson, making my heart feel Hawaiian. After the hula dance show, we indulged in a delightful buffet. The local dishes, fresh fruits, and grilled foods were all amazing, and by this point, both my eyes and stomach were completely satisfied!

But this is just the beginning! We moved to the show venue, where the hula dance evolved with the times, and the dynamic dances and songs kept raising our excitement! The final fire show was mesmerizing, and I couldn't take my eyes off it for a second! I never expected to be so moved, and both my husband and I truly felt that making the reservation was the right choice.

ロック・ア・フラショー ルアウを初めて利用しました！

初めてのハワイで初めて尽くしのハネムーン！ハワイを満喫できるか不安もあり、ハワイっぽさを感じたくこのショーを予約！
結論から言って、予約して本当に良かったと心から思います。

先ずは生花で作られたレイのプレゼント！テレビで見てたあの憧れのレイをフラガールから貰えるなんて、ちょっと嬉しい！
その後丁寧に席に案内され、マイタイのウェルカムドリンクとウェルカムパイナップルを楽しみワクワクしながら待っていると、ウクレレ演奏をゲスト毎に生演奏で披露してくれ、待ち時間も楽しませてくれるウェルカム感！
そこからルアウのスタート！美しいフラガールによるフラダンスを楽しみ、本格的なフラレッスンを受けて、私の心もハワイアン。
フラダンスショーが終わってからはお楽しみのブュッフェ。地元料理や新鮮なフルーツ、グリル料理はどれも最高で、ここまでで既に目も胃袋も満足感間違いなし！

でもここからが本番です！ショーの会場へ移動し、時代と共に進化を遂げいくフラダンス、躍動感溢れるダンスに歌でどんどんテンションが上がっていきます！ラストのファイヤーショーは一瞬たりとも目が離せませんでした！こんなに感動するとは思っておらず、夫婦揃って本当に予約して良かったと心から思いました。

Really got to see the island like never before. Was really great.

Since the tour was during high tide, the island didn't appear, just a shallow sea. The guides were kind, but overall, I think the price was high. I don't think I'll try again.

満潮時にツアーだった為島は現れずただの遠浅の海。
ガイドさん達は親切ではあったがトータルしても料金は高いかな？リベンジしようとは思わない。

Although the weather was cloudy with occasional rain and the tide was somewhat high (around 1 meter at the sandbar), I believe it was not the best climatic condition. However, thanks to the cheerful and warm-hearted staff, the captain's performance, and the adorable marine creatures we encountered, we added a wonderful page to our memories of our first trip to Hawaii!

I participated with my wife and our children, aged 4 and 8, and our whole family was able to enjoy the activities with peace of mind from our respective positions.

曇天～時折雨天で潮位もやや高く（サンドバーで1m前後？）、決して気候的にはベストコンディションとは言えない状況だったと思いますが、陽気で暖かな心遣い満点のスタッフのみなさん・キャプテンのパフォーマンスやかわいい海の住民たちとの出会いにより、初めてのハワイ旅行の思い出に最高の１ページが加わりました！
妻と４歳・８歳の子供たちと参加しましたが、家族一同それぞれの立場で安心してアクティビティを満喫できました。

My family and I had such an amazing time at this Luau. Felt so welcomed, the staff was so friendly and organized. Really appreciated the digital photos included and the veggie dish I received was so yummy!

Once a year, I travel to Hawaii with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we enjoy dinner at Taormina. This year, we had a wonderful time again with delicious food and the staff's warm hospitality. When I mentioned to the staff that it was our 31st wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a dessert plate at the end of dinner, making it a memorable and fantastic dining experience once again. I definitely plan to return to Taormina next year!

一年に一度結婚記念を兼ねて妻とハワイに旅行し、タオルミーナでディナーを楽しんでいます。今年もまた美味しい料理とスタッフさんのホスピタリティーあふれるおもてなしに最高の時間を過ごす事が出来ました。今年で結婚31周年だとスタッフさんにお話したところ、ディナーの最後にサプライズのデザートプレートを出して下さり、今年も思い出深い最高のディナーを楽しむ事が出来ました。また来年も必ずタオルミーナに帰って来ようと思います！

The tour was awesome. My 13 and 11 year old loved it and loved getting to hear all the stories of the different actors that have been there and left wanting to watch a ton of movies! Sam was great and so was our tour guide! Loved being able to get off and take pictures at different spots

The entire boat crew made this an experience to remover for ever. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend booking an evening tour with them, job well done!

We participated as a family of three. While cruising on the boat, the waves were quite strong, and the driver enjoyed riding the waves, resulting in most people getting soaked, which made for a fun time. I was trying to avoid the splashes, but my daughter was having a blast and making a lot of noise. I would love to participate again.

家族3人で参加しました。クルーザーで海を流していると、波が結構強く、運転手も楽しんで波にのり、大半の人がビシャビシャになり、楽しい時間でした。私はシブキを避けてましたが、娘は大騒ぎではしゃいで楽しんでました。また参加したいと思いました。

The day we visited, it was a private event. In a homely atmosphere, time passed without boredom as we enjoyed hula and fire dancing. I have experienced several dinner shows while watching hula, but this was the best, with delicious food and a luxurious time. The transportation to Kaneohe was also considerate, allowing us to relax without worry. The staff who spoke Japanese were kind and helped to uplift our spirits. Thank you very much. I highly recommend it.

アットホームな、雰囲気の中、フラや、ファイヤーダンスなど、飽きることなく時間がすぎました。
フラなどを見ながらのディナーショーは、いくつか体験させていただきましたが、1番、食事が美味しく、贅沢な時間でした。
カネオヘまでの、送迎も、色々気遣いしていただき、安心して過ごせました。日本語が、話せる方も、親切で、私たちを、盛り上げてくださいました。ありがとうございました。

We participated with our daughter and her husband, along with our one-year-old granddaughter. The buffet had a wide variety of delicious food! In a fun atmosphere, we headed to the show. I was worried about how our granddaughter would react since she is so small, but once the music started, she got into it and danced all the way to the end. She had the most fun of all! Thank you for the wonderful memories of Hawaii!

There was a wide variety of dishes, and I was able to enjoy various meat dishes. Additionally, the staff was attentive and responsive, making for a pleasant dining experience.

料理の種類が多く、色々な肉料理を堪能できました。また、店員さんの気配りや対応がよく、気持ちよく食事をすることができました。

We enjoyed every minute of the three event. The musicians, dancers, actors, MC, catering and art vendors were first rate. My parents and kids enjoyed the event. We would come again!

We were the only Japanese people there.
We rode horses in the spacious ranch.
We took a leisurely walk while explaining the grass, flowers, birds, and small animals in simple English.
The horse was calm and smart, so I only needed to control it with the reins when it stopped to eat grass; otherwise, it walked nicely.
We climbed a small hill and took commemorative photos at a scenic spot.
I had a very enjoyable time.

ゆったりと広い牧場内を乗馬。
簡単な英語で草花や鳥や小動物の説明をしながらの散策。
馬が大人しく頭がいいので、途中草を食べるのに止まるのを、手綱で制御するぐらいで、後はちゃんと歩いてくれます。
小高い丘を登り、景色の良い所で記念撮影。
とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

We were all captivated by a wonderful show in Hawaii, which we visited for the first time since our honeymoon. Our one-year-old daughter was also smiling and having a great time!

The cruise was very nice. Sunset was perfect. Prime rib was OK. I was expecting more. The chicken was great! Fish, was ok too. I would do the cruise again. I would upgrade to see if the food was better. Buffet was ok for an.overall rating!

The sightseeing was enjoyable, and the explanations in Japanese were easy to understand, but I was disappointed by the number of souvenir shops we visited.

観光は楽しむ事が出来、日本語による説明もわかりやすかったのですが、お土産屋巡りが多くがっかりしました。

The atmosphere was amazing! Looked very high end and it felt like it. Staff was very friendly and had great service. Super romantic dinner cruise that I highly recommend to any couple looking for a unique Hawai’i experience. Food was really good, not the biggest portions, but still we left satisfied. I will say whatever the dessert was, wasn’t very good. The only negative. It was this fruit flavored cake but it tasted like dish soap. Other than that this is a must!! Beautiful scenery and nice cool breeze with excellent food and live entertainment! We did pay for the middle tier I believe so it was the four course meal with two drink tickets. I think anyone would love this.

We started drinking early and enjoyed a leisurely meal in our usual Hawaii style, and decided to have some entertainment for a change. So, I went with my partner to Rock-a-Hula, which I had been curious about for a while.

I felt a bit anxious about the seating arrangement at the buffet, but there was a newlywed couple visiting from Korea right in front of us, and we had a great time chatting during the meal. An auntie with a ukulele came over to welcome us and asked for song requests, but she was not pushy at all. When I gave her a tip to thank her, she seemed quite flattered.

After the meal, we moved to the adjacent theater. Since it was a Monday and not too crowded, we were guided to the center of the front row, and they made sure to leave space between each group. From my seat, I could see the performers' expressions clearly, and the intensity of the fire dance was so powerful that I could feel the heat. The compact design of the theater allowed even those seated further back to enjoy the show fully.

The show was simply outstanding. Although it was on a different scale, it was comparable to the real Las Vegas performances featuring Elvis and Michael, with a wonderful Hawaiian twist added. I was captivated from start to finish. Even though the theater was only half full, everyone gave their all in their performances, which was truly moving.

The children in the families around us seemed a bit bored with Elvis and Michael, but they were really excited about the songs from Moana and the fire dance.

早めに飲み始めて食事してまったり過ごすいつものハワイで、たまにはエンタメを楽しもうと言うことで、以前から気になっていたロック・ア・フラに恋人と出かけてきた。
ビュッフェではどのような配席になるのか多少の不安も感じていたが、正面に韓国からハネムーンで訪れている新婚さんがいて、食事中も楽しく盛り上がった。またウクレレを持ったおばさまが歓迎の言葉と共に歌のリクエストを尋ねてきたが、押し付けがましさもなくお礼のチップを渡したら恐縮していた。

食後は隣接する劇場に移動し、月曜日でさほど混んでいなかったこともあってか最前列の真ん中に案内してもらい、またそれぞれのグループごとに一席ずつスペースを空けて座らせてくれた。因みに私の席からは出演者の表情がよく見え、ファイヤーダンスの火の熱を感じるほどの迫力だったが、コンパクトな造りなので後ろの方の席でも逆に全体が見渡せ十分楽しめるようだった。

ショーは流石の一言。規模こそ違えども本場ラスベガスのものと遜色のないインパソ（エルビス、マイケル）、そこにハワイのテイストが加わったとても素晴らしいもので、最初から最後まで夢中で楽しめた。また大きくない劇場に客の入りは半分ほどでも皆が手を抜かず、一生懸命のパフォーマンスには胸が打たれた。
周りにいた家族連れの子供たちは、やはりエルビスやマイケルにはちょっと退屈そうだったが、モアナの歌やファイヤーダンスには大盛り上がりだった。

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wanted to experience a luau, so I made a reservation. I participated with my wife and our two children, aged 7 and 4, for a total of four people.

On the day of the event, we gathered at 5:15 PM on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center and presented the voucher that was sent via email at the reception.

After being seated, we enjoyed a welcome drink of Mai Tai (the kids had a non-alcoholic Mai Tai), and after a short hula dance show, the meal began.

The meal included roast beef, roast pork, lomi lomi salmon, and fried noodles, which the kids really liked. There were also desserts like fruits and cake, which were satisfying.

As for the show, we had a very good view from the third row and enjoyed it. I was worried that the kids might get bored, but they were captivated by the fire show, and it seemed like they had a great time.

せっかくハワイに来たのであればルアウを体験したいと思い予約しました。
妻と7歳と4歳の子供の計4名で参加しました。

当日は17:15にロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4Fに集合で、事前にメールで送付されるバウチャーを受付に提示します。

着席後はウェルカムドリンクのマイタイ（子供にはノンアルコールのマイタイ）をいただいて、フラダンスの短いショーを見た後に食事開始となります。

食事の内容はローストビーフ、ローストポーク、ロミロミサーモン、フライドヌードルなどが子供たちには好評でした。
デザートもフルーツやケーキなどがあり、満足でした。

ショーについては前から3列目の席で非常に見やすく、楽しめました。
子供たちが退屈するのではないかと心配していましたが、ファイヤーショーには食い入るように見ており、子供たちも楽しめたようです。

If the weather had been better, the color of the sea would have been even more beautiful, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, it was really great! The BBQ hamburgers on the boat were very delicious. There were mostly Westerners, but since the staff were Japanese, I was able to enjoy myself without any problems.

The buffet before the show had flavors that suited Japanese tastes, and it was very delicious! The roast beef and roast pork, freshly sliced by the chef, were particularly exquisite. (The seasoning style allowed us to use our own condiments; I enjoyed mine with rock salt and wasabi.) The tofu poke and salmon poke were also tasty. There was dessert after the meal, and the strawberry gelato was especially delicious.

The show itself was very impressive. To entertain people of all ages, there were performers doing impressions of past artists, combined with hula elements. Personally, I found the part where the local fire dancer performed with fire to be the most captivating.

Overall, it was enjoyable, and I think it’s worth experiencing, including the food.

ショーの前のビュッフェは日本人の口にも合う味付けで、とても美味しく頂けました！
特にシェフが切り立てのローストビーフとローストポークが絶品でした。（味付けは各自調味料を使うスタイル。わたしは岩塩と山わさびでいただきました）取りものですと、豆腐のポケ、サーモンのポケが美味しかったです。食後のデザートもあったのですが、特にいちごのジェラートが美味しかったです。
ショー自体はとても迫力がありました。老若男女楽しめるよう、昔のアーティストのモノマネをされる方が登場し、フラの要素と掛け合わせているものでした。個人的には現地のファイヤーダンサーの方が火を使ってパフォーマンスしている箇所が一番見応えがありました。
総じて楽しく、ご飯の中身含めて一見の価値はあるかと思います。

The meals were served buffet style, and I was able to eat what I liked. They were quite tasty.
During the meal, there was a corner to watch and experience hula dancing.
The main show incorporated Hawaiian elements and featured Hawaiian music along with songs from Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, taking us through different eras.
To be honest, since I came all the way to Hawaii, I wished I could have enjoyed the traditional shows like hula dancing a bit longer. The Elvis performance was confidently presented and enjoyable, but I felt that the Michael Jackson segment could have been improved in terms of quality.

Regarding seating, VIPs had reserved front seats, but central seats were not guaranteed. (The VIP front center might refer to the central block.) There were no specific seat tickets, and staff encouraged us to sit in the order we entered.

Since the content featured a lot of older music, younger attendees might find it a bit hard to get excited. I think those in their 50s and 60s would enjoy it more.

お食事はブッフェスタイルで好きなものが食べられました。普通においしかったです。
お食事の間にはフラダンスを見たり、体験するコーナーがあります。
本編のショーはハワイ要素を盛り込んだショーとなっており年代を追いながらハワイアンミュージックとエルヴィスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソンの音楽を楽しむ内容でした。
正直な感想を言うと、せっかくハワイに来たのだからもう少しフラダンスなど伝統的なショーを長く楽しみたかったです。
エルヴィスに関しては堂々と披露されており楽しく拝見しましたが、マイケルに関してはもう少し完成度を高めて欲しかったと思います。

席に関してはVIPのため前方座席は確保されていましたが中央座席は保証されていませんでした。（VIPの前方中央というのは中央ブロックという意味なのかもしれません。）座席券は特になく、入った順番に着席するようにスタッフから促されます。

内容的には昔の音楽が多いので若い方は少し盛り上がりにくいかも。50〜60代の方くらいだと盛り上がれるかと思います。

When I arrived at the meeting point on time, a gentlemanly driver greeted me. He was attentive to the temperature inside the car, which made me feel comfortable during the ride. The driver also introduced famous places along the route, making the long journey feel quick.

The venue is a private garden along the Kailua pond, which also has a chapel where weddings are held. Unlike Waikiki, it has a calm atmosphere surrounded by nature. The dining area is outdoors with a roof, and the breeze is pleasant.

The staff were friendly, and I felt reassured that they spoke Japanese. Before the meal started, there were activities like making grass bracelets, applying tattoo stickers on our arms, and games that children in Hawaii enjoy, so families with kids can have a fun time until the meal is served.

The food is supervised by Michel's, so there's no doubt about its quality. Drinks include two cups of beer or soft drinks, and one cocktail, which is a nice bonus.

While luaus often feature buffet-style dining, this one served a course meal, allowing us to enjoy the hula while leisurely savoring our food. The Caesar salad tasted just like the one I had at Michel's, with a great dressing.

The main course included steak, garlic shrimp, and abalone, all of which were delicious. The dessert was decent.

You can enjoy the hula right in front of your seat, making it a great recommendation for those who want to experience hula up close. There was also a fire knife performance, and this time, children who have won awards showcased impressive performances.

It was a luxurious time spent enjoying hula and dining in a relaxed atmosphere, quite different from the bustling Waikiki. I would love to use this service again.

定刻に集合場所に行くと、紳士的な運転手の方が対応してくれた。車内の温度も気にかけてもらい、安心して乗ることができた。通る道の有名な場所も紹介してくれるので長い道のりもあっという間だった。
会場はカイルアの池沿いにあるプライベートガーデン。チャペルもあり結婚式も行うところらしい。ワイキキとは違い自然に囲まれた落ち着いた雰囲気。食事の場所は屋根付きの屋外で風が心地いい。
お店の人はフレンドリーで、日本語も通じて安心した。
食事が始まる前に、草のブレスレットのメイキング体験やタトゥシールを腕につけれたり、ハワイの子供が楽しむゲームができたり、子連れも食事まで飽きずに過ごすことができると思う。
食事はミッシェルズが監修してるので、間違いなし。
ドリンクもビールやソフトドリンクは2杯、カクテルなら1杯ついている。ドリンク付きなのもうれしい。
フラのルアウとなると、ビュッフェ形式が多いが、コースで出してくれるのでフラを楽しみながらゆったりと食事も楽しめる。
シーザーサラダもミッシェルズで食べた時の味
でドレッシングがいい感じ。
メインはステーキにガーリックシュリンプにアワビも出てきてうまかった。
デザートはぼちぼち。
フラも席の目の前で鑑賞できるので、フラを近くで楽しみたい人はオススメ。ファイヤーナイフもあり、今回は賞を受賞したこともある子供たちが迫力ある演技を披露してくれた。
ガヤガヤしたワイキキとは違うゆったりとフラと食事を楽しめて贅沢な時間を過ごせた。また利用したい。
