My first whale watching experience was wonderful as I got to see a mother and calf whale. I thought we might be able to see them a bit closer, but I understand that it’s a matter of the whales' safety. The boat was large. Since it was a plan without meals, those who had breakfast included were enjoying a buffet before departure. It would be better for those without meals to eat beforehand. I didn't expect to see whales so close to Honolulu; the view of Honolulu from the sea was also very beautiful. Not only the whales, but I could also see Diamond Head beautifully from the ocean. It was a very elegant cruise.

It was my travel companion's husband's long-awaited whale watching experience, and we participated with a light-hearted attitude, thinking it would be lucky if we got to see any whales.

Although it was a large boat and we couldn't get too close, we were able to see whales jumping about three times at a distance that was clear enough to observe with the naked eye. I thought it would have been nice to have binoculars.

I saw whales in the distance about three times. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see them as much as I had hoped, but on the way back, a large group of dolphins came close to us. They jumped a lot, and just the dolphins alone were very enjoyable to watch! It was a great deal that one child was free with the campaign.

From the moment you board, the Hawaiian dance welcome elevates your spirits.

The sea was relatively calm, but it still swayed enough that I think it's wise to take motion sickness medication.

Since it was a Friday night tour, we were able to see fireworks. There are chairs on the deck, so I recommend going out on the deck before getting close to the fireworks viewing point.

The final enjoyment before disembarking is the best.

乗船前からハワイアンダンスのお迎えで気持ちが高まります。

海は比較的穏やかでしたが、それなりに揺れるため酔止め薬を飲んでおいたほうが無難だと思います。

金曜日の夜のツアーでしたので、花火を見ることができました。

When a whale is spotted, they announce it and let you know where it is, so if you keep an eye out, you might see a mother and her calf quite close by. It was quite moving. I want to participate again, but my husband seemed to struggle with seasickness, so for those worried about seasickness, it's better to take medication in advance to enjoy it more. It was great to see the fireworks right in front of me. It was a shame that the sunset was hidden by clouds, so I couldn't see the moment it sank beautifully. The food was delicious, but I couldn't eat slowly because of the fireworks. The fireworks were beautifully visible.

What is usually a tour for a group of more than five people turned out to be almost like a private tour for us as we were only three that day. Sean shared a lot of information about my favorite tv show, the cast, the location. We were blown away by everything we saw. It was like walking into a dream. The lovely house, the amazing beachfront and of course, the iconic chairs. Even my husband, who has not watched an episode before our tour has become an instant fan and started watching Hawaii Five-0 with me from season 1 when we got back home, making it my third time to watch season 1. :) It still feels like watching each episode for the first time. Lunch was great, too and we loved the passion fruit-orange-guava (POG) drink.

We also had a nice conversation with the house owners, Richard and Suzz. We had a fun time talking about who Steve is going to marry. It’s Catherine, hands down. We had fun taking pictures with Yogi, too.

Sean really made this day special for us. He shared with us a lot of information about Hawaii from a local’s perspective. He also told us about Hawaii’s history and culture and some of the famous people who are from Hawaii. Sean drove us through Kewalo Basin Harbor and Ala Moana beach park. We stopped.by at the Hawaii Five-0 headquarters, which in real life, is the Hawaii State Supreme Court.

Big thanks to Sean for recommending Wini’s Jewelry where we bought gorgeous Hawaii Five-0 merch. We wish that this show could go on for a couple more seasons.

I had some expectations because of the good reviews, but the food was not delicious. I could sense the effort to entertain us during the live show, but the loud screams were ringing in my ears and it was too noisy. Honestly, I don't think I can recommend this to others.

The sunset was a bit disappointing due to the weather, but the fireworks were fantastic. Depending on the weather, it's great that this plan allows for cancellations without a fee up to six hours before the event, so if bad weather is forecasted, you can cancel.

However, the fireworks only lasted about five minutes, which felt really brief. It seemed shorter than the fireworks at Disney in Japan.

The buffet was okay. There were a few salads, some meat dishes, and a little dessert. I thought it would have been nice to have more Hawaiian dishes. Besides the food, there were also Hawaiian dances and music, which made for a fun time.

What was disappointing was the short dining time and the lack of announcements in Japanese! I didn't know there was a time limit for the food and left my seat to see the sunset, but during that time, the buffet food was cleared away... I wanted to eat more. I recommend checking the buffet time if you participate.

I reserved a course with steak and lobster. I attended with my 2-year-old child. During the cruise, the waitstaff were constantly moving around, bringing food and clearing plates, so it's important to be cautious when letting small children walk around.

It lasted about an hour, but I was able to see the whales jump and spout (multiple times) without any issues!

The announcements were mainly in English, but there were also explanations in Japanese, so there were no problems.

It was the simplest plan without pick-up or breakfast, but the boarding time was also about two hours, which was not a problem. I was able to arrive smoothly from Waikiki using The Bus.

Points to note:
- The waves were quite high, and the boat rocked a lot. Be cautious of seasickness.
- Inside the cabin, the air conditioning was too strong, and outside it was windy and quite cold. A jacket is essential.
- The boat is relatively old and not very clean. There were areas that smelled a bit like garbage, possibly due to the food being served.

I boarded the boat thinking I would be lucky to see even one whale, but I was thrilled to see three whales swimming together and dolphins up close multiple times! I could clearly hear the sound of them blowing water, and it was a wonderful experience of nature. The whale watching was fantastic, but one thing that concerned me was the loud construction noise inside the boat, which made it difficult to hear the naturalist's announcements and music. It would have been even better if there had been consideration for that.

We were seated with another group since there were three of us, but the person at the table was very friendly. The meat was tender, and the lobster was exquisite—so luxurious that we couldn't finish it all. I was also recommended a strawberry cocktail, which was refreshing and delicious. The music was fun, and by the end, everyone was dancing. We were able to take great photos of the sunset as well.

You might be asking yourself if a sunset Cruise is worth it. I asked myself the same thing. I went with my wife and some family and had a great time. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was really good and had lots of options. The shows were very entertaining and some where quite funny thanks to the performers. Then the sunset was great. We went on a Wednesday and it was not many people. Felt almost like we had the entire ship to ourselves. Super fun experience overall.

I appreciated the audio guidance in Japanese available on the shuttle bus and inside the cruise ship. Unfortunately, the real-time announcements regarding whale sightings and the sea conditions that day (explanations from the captain and guides) were difficult to understand without knowledge of English.

During the whale watching, we moved to the deck where we could watch the whales in sync with the surrounding movements. Thanks to the three-story large ship, the deck and interior were windy and choppy, but it didn't sway as much as I expected. When a whale surfaced and spouted water, there was a cheer, and everyone got excited beyond words. It was truly moving to see a whale up close.

I think even someone like me, who only understands a bit of English, can manage just fine. It was a very enjoyable experience.

行きの送迎バスの中やクルーズ船内でも一通りの音声ガイダンス日本語案内があり、ありがたかったです。
残念なのは、鯨の出没の際の説明や当日の海の状態などリアルタイムの案内（船長とガイドの説明）は、英語が理解できないと何を言っているのかよくわかりませんでした。
鯨ウォッチングのタイミングの時は周りの動きに合わせて鯨ウォッチングできるデッキに移動しました。
デッキや船内は３階建ての大型船のおかげで風が強く波立っていましたが思ったより揺れませんでした。
鯨が潮を吹きながら頭を出した際は歓声が上がり、言葉を超えてみんなで盛り上がりました。鯨を目の当たりにできたのはとても感動です。
私のように片言英語しかわからない状態でもなんとか大丈夫だと思います。

We were blessed with clear weather and boarded the boat with the guarantee of seeing whales, but all we caught a glimpse of was a faint black object in the distance, and we couldn't tell if it was a whale or not... We saw a mother and baby whale, and the baby seemed to be practicing various things, surfacing and diving repeatedly. It was a totally Hawaiian experience from the entertainment to the delicious food!
Just an authentic feel with great music all entwined with guest participation and fun!
And through it all we even learned a lot about the culture and people of the islands!
I highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Hawaii because the Chief’s Luau is a must see!
My wife and I will never forget it.
