Not as good as I remember but still not bad

This was our second trip on the Star of Honolulu, the first being 9 years ago. I paid more this time for an upgraded meal. The meal was good, but I think we would have been happier with just the buffet. The upgrade wasn’t really worth the price we paid. The entertainment was good and the views were spectacular! If we come to Hawai’i again, I think we’ll just get the lowest price meal and still do the cruise.

This was my third time participating. My previous experiences were rated 3 stars. My faint memory was of a relaxed atmosphere, but the buffet had a huge number of guests. There were few Japanese people. Although it was a buffet, there was only one place to get food, and I wondered how that would work. However, we were guided in order. I was worried that the first people would eat everything, but there was enough for us who went last. In fact, just going once filled me up. I was looking around to see if we could get seconds, and it seemed that after the first round, refills were allowed. I remember the 3-star experience having a relaxed musical atmosphere, but the buffet area was lively. It's on the lowest floor, but you can see beautiful sunsets and sunrises, so no issues there. This concludes my record of a buffet experience that doesn't have many reviews. If you're someone who can't wait, gathering on-site will get you guided faster.

淡い記憶ではゆったりしたイメージでしたが、ビュッフェはすごい数のお客さん。
日本人は少なかったです。
ビュッフェとのことでしたが、食事を取る場所は一箇所、これどうするの？と思っていたら、順番に案内されていました。
最初に食べる人が全部食べちゃうよと焦っていましたが、最後にとりにいった私たちの分もちゃんとありました。
むしろ一回撮りに行くだけでお腹いっぱい。
で、おかわり自由なのか？と周りを伺っていましたが、一巡した後はおかわりは自由な様子でした。
3スターは音楽もゆったりした記憶がありますが、ビュッフェのところは賑やかでした。
一番下のフロアですが、夕焼けとか日の入りも綺麗に見えます、問題なしです。
以上、体験記が少ないビュッフェの記録になります。
まだかまだか、という気持ちが我慢できない人は現地集合にすると、早く案内してもらえます。

I participated on a Friday when the fireworks were launched. The ocean in Hawaii, the sunset from the boat, and the fireworks viewed from the ship were amazing. It's a 5-star experience, and the price is around 35,000 yen per person, so I was worried about table manners... but those worries were unnecessary! It was surprisingly casual, as you could stand up and walk out to the deck during the meal. I think it mentioned that "men's dress code is collared shirts," but there were definitely people in T-shirts. The non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious!

The food was good, and the show was enjoyable. This was the tour I was looking forward to the most on this trip. However, I ordered my first drink, but it didn't arrive for my seat and the seat next to me. After waiting for a while, I asked again, but it took about 30 minutes to come. Since the start was like that, it put me in a bad mood. The meat in the meal was overcooked, which was disappointing. It was nice to sing and dance to "YMCA" towards the end.

We used this service with our parents, who are over 70 years old. Since our arrival date was Friday, we wanted to ensure they could safely watch the Hilton fireworks, so we made a reservation. The fireworks were, of course, amazing, and we also got to see a beautiful rainbow and sunset, which was the best. The staff were all very kind, and the food was just the right amount and taste, which made us very satisfied. We reserved a box seat, so it was a considerable amount, but seeing our parents happy made me very glad.

I had been curious about the Five Star Dinner Cruise for a while. My husband was hesitant because he gets seasick, but it turned out to be a great decision to go.

From before boarding, we were welcomed with hula and music, which really set the mood. As soon as we boarded, they provided us with motion sickness medication, so my husband said he felt almost no nausea.

The meal included champagne, salad, lobster, steak, and dessert, along with two drinks of our choice. There was also piano music and live singing, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

On Friday, we enjoyed the Hilton fireworks, and there was even a surprise proposal among the guests, making it a very lively cruise. I would love to take this cruise again if I have the chance.

以前から気になっていたファイブスターディナークルーズ、夫が船酔いするので躊躇してましたが、行って正解でした。
乗船前からフラとミュージックで歓迎があり、雰囲気を盛り上げます。

I made a reservation for the Pacific Star Dinner Cruise.
Everyone from the reception staff to the performers spoke Japanese, so I felt comfortable participating.
The main dish of the buffet, the roast beef, was excellent. Throughout the meal, there were Hawaiian dance performances and live singing of Japanese songs arranged in a Hawaiian style, which made it feel like Hawaii all the time.
Next time, I would like to try the 3-star or 5-star course meals as well.

Great show but the provided transport got us there late

We appreciated the Chief's showmanship and humor as well as the dancers. Food was very good and we were thoroughly entertained.
Only negative is that we bought the package with transportation and it got us there after all the cultural activities were finished. That was disappointing since we could have just Ubered over and skipped the bus ride. Keep in mind that this Luau is quite a ways from the Waikiki area.

The sunset was amazing, and we had a great view of the fireworks from Hilton. The light hitting Diamond Head before sunset was incredibly beautiful. It's a bit pricey, but I recommend 5STAR.

The luau was entertaining and informative. The food was good too. Staff did a good job of moving 500 people through the lines. Only two watered down drink tickets. The free choices were only offered at one stand. For 500 people. Not enough.
I enjoyed the pictures on arrival. I think more opportunities for pictures would have been good.
