My fiancé and I booked this during our 6 day stay in Oahu. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Jacob picked us up promptly from our hotel in Waikiki right on time and took us to the boat. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive right from the start and the entire way through. They instructed us on the ins and outs of snorkeling and made sure we were comfortable. We snorkeled and saw all the fish and sea turtles our hearts desired within a few feet. It was amazing! Barry hung out in the water with us the entire time indicating different sights and making sure all was safe. After a while we climbed aboard and David had prepared a delicious lunch of Mahi Mahi and chicken wraps, as well as macaroni salad and chips. The drinks were superb as well. After lunch, we set sail for the rest of the trip, viewing Waikiki and Diamond head as well as the rest of the island. The guys offered much advice on local eateries and activities, and answered any questions that we had with genuine interest. It isn't often that I post reviews, but these guys truly made our day, if not our trip. I've never felt so comfortable and impressed by any charter group before. BOOK THIS NOW! You honestly will not regret it. We are thinking about booking another trip with these guys before we leave.

Good trip; dependent on ocean conditions

I took this trip on my own. The staff were very friendly and personable and laid back. The catamaran was quite large and fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately, the water was quite silty and therefore the visibility was poor. I saw a couple of turtles and a few fish, but overall the snorkeling portion of the trip was disappointing. It sounds like from other reviews it is not always this way, so I may have just been unlucky. After snorkeling, we sailed around, which was fun. Subway subs were provided for lunch; however there were no vegetarian friendly subs - I would recommend for the future that this option be made available.

Overall, the trip was good but would have been much better had the visibility been better.

Every year I go to Hawaii, but this was my first time sailing off Waikiki. There were about 10 participants that day, and we were the only Japanese. The ride was comfortable without any nausea-inducing swaying. The view of Waikiki from the sea was exceptional. There were quite a few turtles at the snorkeling point, which was enjoyable. However, there were no life jackets, just a floating noodle. They provide snorkeling gear for free, so if you're anxious, it's better to bring your own. The other catamaran tour I considered had life jackets (I noticed since they were at the same point). Drinks and snacks are available for purchase, so I recommend bringing your own water. The staff only spoke English but were friendly and kind. Since it departs from Waikiki Beach, it's easy to join, so I recommend it.

Nessa arrived to pick us up at hotel early. We were the only people on the shuttle. When we arrived at the boat we found out we were the only people on the tour!!! We were shocked they didn't cancel the tour. We had an AMAZING time. The crew was awesome!!! They were very attentive and helpful. We saw tons of turtles and got a ton of great pictures. We cannot say enough good things about this tour! It was a highlight of our trip to Oahu.

Vessel - was clean and in great condition. was nice to sit in the nets in front or on the main passenger holding.
guides/skipper - so lovely, friendly and informative!
snorkelling equipment - neat, clean
snacks and drinks - adequate snacks provided, resonably priced drinks for sale
snorkelling - Awesome for turtle lovers like me. I saw so may honu and a few dark coloured fish!! no colourful fish, so if that's what you're after, this isn't the tour for you.
overall - I came to see turtles and I saw turtles :) it was a grewat bonus to sail around the ocean for a while.

This is our second time to join the sail. Again, it is great. We swam with turtles and saw lots of fish and big turtles. During the sail, we saw lots of dolphins. The sailing experience was exciting and great. The crews are nice. We will do it again next time when we come back!

Amazing Adventure!!

Jake, Josh, and Barry took us on a fabulous voyage! They explained what the activity would entail and gave some safety rules.

They they took us put to turtle Bay and as we were making our way to where we were going to anchor the boat, we saw our first Turtle.

We got all geared up and went into the water. Someone on the trip wasn't a sting swimmer and jake provided adsistance so he wouldn't miss out on anything.

We saw several turtles and lots of beautiful fish!

We had a great lunch and a few great cocktails.

It was one of my best experiences while in Hawaii!

Unforgettable Experience Not to be Missed!

After visiting Honolulu many times before, my husband and I wanted to do something fun and unique to celebrate the beauty of Honolulu...beyond the glitzy stores and swanky restaurants. Well, we couldn't be happier with our choice to book a sun-filled excursion on the Honi Olani. The catamaran sail turned out to be fantastic, thanks to the experienced, well-trained Captain and crew. From the confirmation email, hotel pickup and transport to the marina, all of the details worked out as promised. As promised, we swam right next to sea turtles and other fish and truly enjoyed the personal attention and guidance while snorkeling in the water. We swam for over an hour, then sailed along the gorgeous shores of the island. The lunch provided was tasty, as were the cocktails and drinks included in the tour. The friendly crew made the entire tour seem effortless, although we know they were all hard at work serving us every step of the way. Honestly, we felt pampered. This trip definitely is recommended for everyone, including those families with young children who are confident with swimming in the ocean. Flotation vests, high-quality fins and snorkels are provided, and the kids who were on our tour were watched over very carefully and taught the basics of snorkeling. There is something so peaceful about the turtles who live so close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

From the moment we got on the boat we knew this would be a great trip. We only had 9 people on a boat that holds 50!!!I have been on many Snorkeling excursions that are over crowded so this was quite the treat to have so much room. We had a wonderful time on the trip ! The staff was very attentive and helpful and made you feel very comfortable the whole day. We got to see lots of turtles! The food was great and there was plenty of it to go around. The guys were constantly asking if they could get you anything or do anything to make the trip more comfortable for you. Weather was perfect and the water was nice and warm. It does not get much better than this. I would highly recommend this excursion!

First let me say that this cruise, the crew, and the food and drinks are all amazing, and that you should not hesitate in booking! I was looking for something fun for my husband and I to do for our 3 year anniversary, and I'm glad we picked this. Going through the process of actually ordering the tickets was a bit of a pain. We live here, but the website kept asking about our flights and hotel, so that was a bit annoying. But, we finally got our voucher for the sail and it was confirmed very quickly. The company even called a few times to make sure we were all set. When we got onboard the crew was fantastic and started serving up the drinks and food immediately. Woohoo! The water was absolutely beautiful, and I got to see some marine life that I haven't seen before in my 4 years as a Hawai'i resident. The crew was also very good about making sure we were safe at all times, which made us feel like we were in good hands. All in all, it was a great experience and we would happily pay to go again.

Awesome Day Snorkeling in Waikiki!

My boyfriend and I came across this website while vacationing in Oahu. We were looking online for snorkeling tours, but most were out of our budget. When we came across this website we were excited that we had found a good deal. The process was super easy! All we did was input the date we wanted to go and purchased our tickets. When we arrived at the boat harbor we had no problem presenting our online confirmation and getting right on the boat. The crew on the boat were very hospitable and made sure we had a memorable experience. The snorkel spot was breathtaking! Especially vein so close to the endangered green sea turtles. We saw well over a dozen of them and sometimes they came rather close to us. After snorkeling for a little over an hour we hopped back on the boat and the crew served us lunch and drinks (including alcohol). There was no charge for anything on the boat, including the alcohol. We then went for a scenic sail around Diamond Head and relaxed out on the front of the catamaran. This was one of the best days of our vacation! We would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Oahu and looking for some great snorkeling!

We had so much fun on this snorkel sail. Actually the day before the sail was supposed to happen the company called and said there was an issue with the boat and that that particular cruise was not going to be running that day. I had no other day that we could do it as it was a birthday surprise for my friend and our schedules were way too busy after that day to fit it in. They quickly offered to change our reservation for the dolphin snorkel sail that same day with no charge to us. It worked out perfect! The crew was totally awesome and we got to snorkel so close to dolphins. THe entire vibe on the boat was so much fun with jokes from the crew and their service was great. AMazing lunch and breakfast. I would definitely go again!

This was a great experience! This was the best part of our vacation, the most fun the both of us had. The crew members really helped to make the trip memorable and so much fun. The crew had much knowledge and was able to answer so many questions. The best part by far was them helping me out. I was very afraid of getting in and snorkeling, I began freaking out and going back to the boat, before getting out the captain asked if I would be more comfortable using a floatation devise to help me out. And man that made a huge difference. Not only did they give me that device they then help me swim out to the spot and help me keep calm. This was the best thing for me, I was very frightened at first but got over it thanks to the crew thank you (:

My parents and I went on this snorkel trip as kind of a last minute thing and it was absolutely amazing. There is usually about 25 people on the boat but we got lucky and were aboard the boat with just one other family of three, also with a teenager. The snorkeling spot is perfect! I would definitely recommend bringing fins, they aren't provided or required but your experience will be much better with them. There are lots of fish but not a huge variety. The main thing is the turtles and there's plenty of those! They chill at the bottom and occasionally come up for air. If you have fins you can dive down about 15 feet and be near them. It's incredible being face to face with a turtle. The boat provides you with fun noodles if you would like to float at the top and look and that helped out the people who didn't bring fins. They also have one guy out there diving with you and keeping an eye on things which makes you feel really safe while snorkeling. After about 45 mins-hour, we got back on the boat and ate some sandwiches. There's drinks for sale as well. We then went on an hour long sail pretty far out there. If you don't mind getting wet you can sit or lay across the nets in the front and it's really fun. If you have younger kids or aren't comfortable in the water then I think you'll need to bring your own lifejacket. I'm sure they probably had them someplace on the boat but they weren't given to you and you don't really need them. All in all the trip was extremely fun and well worth the price ( which is better than any others we could find). Would definitely recommend this and we might even do it again before leaving for home.

As soon as I walked on to the Spirit of Aloha boat, I knew it was going to be a good time. It wasn't too full, and it allowed for more room and comfort on the ride. Captain Dustin gave us a run down of the tour, and gave us free reign of the boat (less the Captain's chair of course). Masa helped us with our gear and Brad swam out to the snorkel spot with us. Yes, Brad knows where the turtles are. We saw tons of turtles, all with big personalities that were bigger than there shells. We twice got to see a turtle swim up to the surface! I never expected to see such humongous turtles. I named one of them Soldier because he was missing one flipper and the shell was pretty damaged, but he swam quite happily. I saw a pair of turtles even hold fins like buddies. It was too cute. The water was perfect and it was a beautiful day. We got back on the boat and Brad helped us with lunch. I highly recommend this snorkel cruise!
