Let me start by saying that I’m used to going to tours where the crew is super fun and wild so I was expecting a lot more from a tour that offers cocktails. To get a drink you basically had to chase someone to get you one because it wasn’t like someone was there standing and serving drinks, they were busy eating their own lunch and chatting. Second, I’m used to crew assisting others that need help getting in and out of boat or at shore or struggling, this crew did not assist at all, you were on your own. So if you really do not know how to snorkel or are a start swimmer, you’re on your own. The turtles, well the snorkelers did not see any, the people on board said they saw 2. Could be that the reason none were around is because besides our boat that area is flooded with like 2 other boats filled with other snorkelers and this scares off the poor turtles. Overall a mediocre experience. Did not really enjoy it and not worth the cost. Would not recommend unless you’re taking it just to go for a cruise.

Great time snorkeling with Alexio, Jonah, Noah and Brandon. Don’t let their youthful look fool you. These guys are courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly. My youngest had so much fun she didn’t even realize it was time to go back to the ship! Would do this again in a heartbeat! ♥️

My husband and my kids ages 9 and 14 enjoyed this excursion. It wasn’t too short or too long, just perfect 90 minutes. I was amazed by the professionalism, fun and accommodation by the crew: Alec, Dave and Mina. I had severe motion sickness which was my fault for not taking Dramamine ahead of time. Good thing was the crew was quick and provided me unlimited ice chips and water. I left 2 pairs of our water shoes and wasn’t sure if I can still retrieve it. Happily they kept it until I picked it up today. The whole team and this activity is full of awesomeness. Next time I visit here from the Bay Area, I’ll make sure to do this activity again with this crew.

This trip was great! Lots of activities & plenty of time in the water! Big slide & platform jumping were the best! Also trampoline, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling ... all so much fun as advertised!

Staff and the experience was amazing. Snacks and fresh pineapple to refresh us in between our snorkeling. The captain knew all the right places to go where we found a lot of sea turtles and marine life. Awesome!

The guys here are amazing. We had some much fun. They were really funny and conversed with you as well. After we were done looking at the turtles we got drinks, that's because of the package I got. But my sister, my friend and I loved it. It's worth the money, I would highly recommend this adventure and we were actually able to see turtles. They would point out where the turned were and we would take pictures, the ones who had GoPros. One of them even went all the way down and recorded it but I think I might've not hit the recording button so idk if we got the video, that's on me. But still I was so nice fun!!!

We thought we were booking a turtle snorkel it turns out it was a water sports trip. The boat is in terrible condition. Needs maintenance. When we got to where we we’re going it was a free for all. No coordination. They immediately launched kayaks, paddle boards and a floating trampoline from the stern. At the same time they lowered a water slid from the bow. They made no effort to separate the snorkelers from the kayaks and paddle boards. We wanted to snorkel, but after getting hit in the head 4 times by kayaks and paddle boards we exited the water and waited to return to the harbor. We personally observed several snorkelers get landed upon by people using the water slide. When we went to leave they did not do a head count to make sure everyone was back on board. We have scuba dived and snorkeled from Morea, Guam, Bahamas and Cayman Islands, and we never experienced a trip where they combined water sports such as these with snorkelers. Very dangerous.

You have to get the deluxe package though. The slide is lots of fun. Jumping off the second story. Kayaking, paddle board.

The snorkeling can be hit and miss depending on current and boat position. Make sure you ask the crew where the reef is located. Otherwise it will be hard to see any marine life.

Although they cancelled the snorkeling due to water conditions the captain made it a blast and the kids loved it! The crew was awesome and super helpful!

Staff was amazing the whole boat guest crew wax amazing . The activities were amazing created so many memories. Do not forget your water and snacks Dont!!!!!

This was the first time for us to snorkel as a family. It was wonderful! The guides made sure we got somewhere where we were sure to see turtles. They were extremely helpful and fun! We will definitely be doing this again!

Went by myself with three kids, they were amazing at making sure none of kids died . This was our first time snorkeling so it was very much a learning experience.

So glad we took this activity. Had an amazing time with friends aboard the boat. The staff were very friendly and made the experience fun. Highly recommended.

It was cool experience, nice drinks. There weren't many turtles and the sea was not very clear there so we couldn't see many fishes or nature.

Super fun experience, all three guides were very nice and great hosts. They really kept a look out on all of their guests to ensure their safety. If I ever came back I would definitely do it again.

This was a great time, We had a party of 6 and we all said we'd do it again!!!!

The Crew of the Honu Lani was great. Jimmy, the Captain gave clear and informative safety briefing and also snorkeling recommendations. He was very professional and his crew was EVERYWHERE! They were at the stern when we got in and out of the water, at the bar serving beverages, putting out lunch, in the water when we were snorkeling. Crew was Andrea, Alek, Marco and another girl interviewing for a deckhand job. They were all great! Andrea was so nice and helped the passengers nonstop the entire cruise. Alek is the man, (I think Bernie Sanders is his Dad). A friend of mine jumped off the side of the boat and her iWatch came off. This Cat (Alek) jumped in like David Hasselhoff and came up with it on the first dive down. I think he was more surprised than we were, it is a big Ocean. Marco was nice also, sorry guy, did not talk to you much.
Overall, great cruise. 95% great because of the crew!

Great crew great sail our family scattered our moms (Grammie) ashes with a great ceremony and a wonderful and private area. After we went to an area for snorkeling this was a great way to end our day!

The crew was amazing! They were super friendly and would help us find turtles while we were snorkeling. The boat ride was smooth, had refreshments, and their mai tai were delicious. I would highly recommend this tour. Was able to see many fishes, got yummy drinks, and was a fun time overall.

Fun trip, good crew. Snorkeling was a bit crowded and water not as clear as expected.

Boat was very nice, friendly staff, but we stopped at 1 site for a while and didn’t see any turtles, then when we got to the more popular spot there were already 4 more boats and we only got to see 1 turtle. The staff didn’t come in the water with us either to help spotting turtles. Other boats had at least 1 crew in the water to guide their group towards the right spot.

Turtles were amazing, Mai tais delish, and the crew was awesome!

We had such a great time. The instructors are amazing and patient. This is the snorkeling trip you want to go on.

wonderful afternoon cruise. The cruise was very relaxing and the boat looks really big and spacious so you get to enjoy the scenery. We saw two turtles and staff was very helpful.

The crew were amazing! They not only showed us where to find all the turtles while we snorkeled (saw about 5/6 different turtles surfacing a million times right next to us), they followed a pod of dolphins for a while so we could get a good view and watch them in their element. We drove around the water for a bit before going back as well so you can snack and drink after snorkeling. The weather was amazing and we were the only boat out there (did the 8AM tour) for majority of the time so had all the ocean to ourselves! Some people didn’t/couldn’t snorkel but they hanged out on the Net of the Catamaran with their drinks and still had a great time napping and drinking lol.

Captain Greg and his crew were fantastic! The whole crew was pleasant, and fun-loving. They really brought the spirit of Aloha! It was a fun and totally chill cruise.

This cruise was so amazing. The water and the view looked beautiful. Got to see turtles and fish. Definitely need to be a decent swimmer if you want to be successful at getting to we're the turtles are at but you are provided with life jackets. And the bonus is after your done snorkeling the host give you Mai Tai's and beers on the trip back to shore! I would highly recommend this cruise it was one of the highlights of my trip!
