Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the place I wanted during my free time, but thanks to the kind consideration of the tour company, I was able to participate in an optional tour. I enjoyed the quietly flowing time and the pleasant breeze, and I was able to see turtles in the vast ocean. At the power spot, I remembered my late husband and prayed for my family's health. I was also very satisfied with the coffee tasting and shopping, which were explained to me in detail.

残念ながらフリータイムで行きたかった場所に行けませんでしたが、ツアー会社の優しいご配慮でオプショナルツアーに参加させていただけました。静かに流れる時間と気持ちいい風、広い海にカメさんも見る事ができ、パワースポットでは亡き主人を偲び、家族の健康を祈れました。
コーヒーも丁寧に説明していただきながら試飲や買い物ができ大満足でした。

The bus ride was accompanied by a guide who kept talking, but I couldn't understand what they were saying as a Japanese person. The ignition happens 10 minutes before departure, so we only had about 15 minutes to enjoy it, which wasn't enough time. In Haleiwa, 120 minutes wasn't enough to walk from one end to the other and enjoy a meal, so it's necessary to decide on the places to visit in advance. The shrimp from Giovanni's that I wanted to try was far away, and for some reason, the shrimp from Camaron wasn't open. Our return was scheduled for 14:15, but we were dropped off at the hotel at 15:15. I was happy that we passed by the Kapiolani Palace, probably due to the traffic from the parade!

ずっとガイドさんが喋ってくれながらのバス移動でしたが、日本人には何を言っているのか分かりませんでした。出発時刻の10分前には点火されるので実質15分短い時間しか楽しめなくて時間が足りませんでした。ハレイワは120分では端から端まで歩いてご飯を楽しむことはできなかったので、あらかじめ行く場所を決めておく必要があります。食べたかったジョバンニのシュリンプは遠く、カマロンのシュリンプも何故か営業していませんでした。帰りが14：15の予定でしたがホテルに送っていただいたのは15:15でした。パレードで渋滞していたからか、カピオラニ宮殿の前を通っていただけたのは嬉しかったです！

Departing from Waikiki, we first arrived at the Dole Plantation right when it opened. We started with the Pineapple Express Train Tour. However, perhaps due to the timing of our visit, there weren't many pineapples planted. Instead, we saw vast fields of tilled land. Why!? It was a bit disappointing. I had imagined racing through a sprawling pineapple field. Maybe I was expecting too much.

However, the pineapple soft serve they sell there is absolutely delicious. It was definitely worth the trip just to try it. Be sure to give it a taste!

Next up was Haleiwa Town, which is very close by. This tour allows plenty of time to explore here, so I enjoyed leisurely strolling around the town, indulging in gourmet treats like garlic shrimp and shave ice, and searching for souvenirs. I was able to experience a local vibe of Hawaii that you can't find in Waikiki.

ワイキキを出発して、まず開園と同時にドールプランテーションに到着し、はじめにパイナップルエクスプレス・トレインツアーに参加。しかし、訪れた時期、タイミングがあまりよくなかったのか、あまりパイナップルか植えられていない。耕された畑が広がっている。なんで！？ちょっと期待外れで残念。広大なパイナップル畑の中を疾走して行くのを想像してたのに。期待しすぎだったかな。
ただし、そこで販売してるパイナップルソフトクリームは絶品。わざわざ食べに来た価値あり。是非ご賞味あれ。
次のハレイワタウンはすぐそば。このツアーはここで散策する時間もたっぷりあるので、ガーリックシュリンプやシェーブアイスなどのグルメ巡りや街ブラ、お土産探しなど、ゆったりと街中の散策を堪能できました。ワイキキでは味わえないローカルな雰囲気のハワイを体験することができました。

On the morning of the day, we arrived at the location while listening to our driver Matthew's enjoyable stories (I only understood about half of it, though) in the pleasant weather. We had a sufficient two hours, and we took our time climbing while taking lots of photos. When we reached the top, we saw a rainbow in the distance. I was moved and truly felt that it was worth coming. As we slowly descended and bought souvenirs, I was happy to receive some water. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

当日朝、心地よい天気の中、ドライバーのマシューさんの楽しいお話を聞きながら(半分くらいしか理解力ありませんでしたが)現地に着きました。2時間という十分な時間があり、写真をたくさん撮りながらゆっくり登っていきました。登り切ったとき、遠くに虹が出ているのが見えました。感動して本当に来て良かったと思いました。ゆっくり降りてお土産買って戻るとお水をいただいて嬉しかったです。素敵な経験をありがとうございました！

The pickup was right on time! The driver was a local but couldn't speak any Japanese at all. They used a translation app for communication about the meeting time and such. I booked it thinking it would be reassuring since it said there would be a Japanese guide, but that was disappointing. However, there were only 9 people on the large bus, so the ride was very comfortable!

お迎えもピッタリの時間でした！
運転手さんが現地の方だったけど、日本語が全く話せなかったです。集合時間などの連絡は翻訳アプリを使ってました。
日本語ガイドと書いてあったから、安心だと思って予約しましたが、そこは残念でした。でも、大型バスに9名しか乗っていなかったので、車内は凄く快適でした！

The guide who came to pick us up was so cheerful that the trip there and back was never boring!

Diamond Head was not as tough as I expected, and I was able to enjoy the scenery while climbing. The view from the top was amazing, and when we came down, the guide was there to pick us up again, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable!

I really love pineapples, and I wanted to visit the Dole Plantation, so I joined this tour.

When we arrived at the Dole Plantation, I was happy to receive a cold bottle of water for each person.

I was looking forward to riding the pineapple train and enjoying pineapple soft serve. I considered doing both the garden tour and the train, but the guide advised me that there wouldn't be enough time to eat the soft serve, so it was a good decision to just do the train. The train went around vast fields, and it was fun to see not only pineapples but also cacao and bananas growing.

I was greedy and ordered a variety of foods, but they were all big sizes, so those with smaller appetites should be careful (laughs). The pineapple ice cream is very delicious, so I recommend it! There were also various pineapple-themed items for sale, and I was happy to buy a unique sunburned Hello Kitty that I could only get here.

Even just riding the train and eating took up most of the time, so it might be better to eat and look around quickly.

I had planned to go to Giovanni's on the North Shore, but it was closed (?), and since it was far, I tried the garlic shrimp at Camaron, which was recommended, and it was also very delicious! It was easy to eat since there were no shells.

The guide provided various explanations on the bus, but since most of the participants were foreigners, the content was mostly in English, and I couldn't understand much. I thought I could have enjoyed it more if I were better at English. I want to study more (laughs).

The North Shore and Dole Plantation are far from Waikiki and hard to access, so I'm really glad I booked the tour! The guide was also kind, which made me happy! Thank you very much.

パイナップルがすごく好きでドールプランテーションにとても行きたかったのでこのツアーに参加しました。

ドールプランテーションに着いた時に冷たいお水を1人1本ずつもらえて嬉しかったです。

パイナップルトレインに乗りたかったのとパイナップルソフトを楽しみにしていました。
ガーデンツアーとトレイン両方にしようかと思いましたがソフトクリームを食べてる時間ないよとガイドさんにアドバイスを頂きトレインのみにして正解でした。
トレインは広大な畑を周り、パイナップルだけではなくカカオやバナナがなっているのを見れて楽しかったです。
食べ物を欲張って色々頼みましたがビッグサイズで1個1個が大きいので少食の人は注意が必要です（笑）
パイナップルのアイスはとても美味しいのでおすすめです！
買い物もパイナップルの物が色々売っておりここでしか買えない日焼けキティを買えて嬉しかったです。
トレインと食べ物を食べているだけでも買い物している時間が意外となかったので足早に食べたり見たりした方がいいかもしれません。

ノースショアではジョバンニに行くつもりでしたがやってなかった（？）のと遠いとのことでおすすめされたカマロンのガーリックシュリンプを食べましたがこちらもとても美味しかったです！殻もなくて食べやすかったです。

バスの中でガイドさんが色々解説してくれていたのですが外国の方がほとんどだった為ほぼ英語で内容が分からなかったので英語がもうちょっとできればもっと楽しめたのになと思いました。勉強したいと思います（笑）

ノースショアやドールプランテーションはワイキキから遠くてアクセスしづらいのでツアーを頼んで本当に良かったです！ガイドさんも親切で嬉しかったです！ありがとうございました。

ドールプランテーションのトレインは思ってたより楽しかったです。最初に乗らないと時間が無くなってしまうので、最初に行くのが良いです。あちこちにネコがいて癒されました。小さい赤いパイナップルがあって珍しかったです。パタゴニアのハレイワ店でかわいいTシャツも買えて満足です。ガーリックシュリンプのお店（Camaron Shrimp Truck）がお休みだったみたいで食べることができなかったことが残念でした。

This was before the pandemic, but when I used it before, they guided us around places like Izumo Taisha. The conversation was enjoyable! I was expecting that again, but none of the drivers understood Japanese. It was better when they at least said they were studying. Ah… there was no guide, and the level has dropped. It was disappointing even though they took us to various places.

コロナ前にはなりますが、前に利用した際は出雲大社方面などはガイドしてくれていました。お話が楽しかった！それを期待して乗ったら、どの運転手も、日本語わかりません。勉強中ですって言ってくれたらマシな方。
あー…ガイドさんも居ないしレベル落ちたなと。色々連れて行ってくれても残念でした。

I joined the morning tour 😎. I caused some trouble along the way, but Masa-san helped me out 😅. During the trip, Masa-san provided explanations about the history along the route, which was very educational and enjoyable. The mini tour was also GOOD!

I arrived earlier than planned. While that's nice, the departure time for the return trip was also changed to an earlier time. I wish the return time had stayed as originally scheduled...

予定より早く到着しました。それは嬉しいが帰りの出発時刻もはやく変更された。帰りの時間は予定通りの時間が良かったな、、

First of all, the meeting place was easy to find. There were only Japanese people in my group, but the tour was conducted in both English and Japanese throughout. With few other participants, the bus was spacious, and we first stopped at the Green World Coffee Farm where we could purchase coffee. At the Dole Plantation, they even helped us buy train tickets. Since I had small children with me, we were pressed for time to enjoy the train ride, souvenirs, restrooms, and ice cream within the 90 minutes. Next, we headed to the North Shore, and it was about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to our destination, Giovanni's, where we were recommended to try the shrimp truck, Camaron. According to our guide, the taste is almost the same as Giovanni's, and it was the best I had during the trip. Finally, we ended the tour by seeing King Kamehameha from the bus. It can be quite challenging to go on your own, so just being taken around was great, and the reassurance of having a Japanese-speaking guide made the tour very satisfying.

まず集合場所はわかりやすかったです。
日本人は私のグループしかいませんでしたが、終始英語と日本語でツアーをしてくれました。
他の参加者が少なくバスも広々しており、最初にグリーンワールドコーヒーファームに立ち寄りコーヒーを購入できました。
ドールプランテーションでは、列車のチケット購入の手伝いまで行ってくれました。
小さい子どもがいるからか、90分で列車とお土産とお手洗いとアイスクリームを食べるのに時間がかつかつでした。
次にノースショアへ向かいましたが、バス停から目的のジョバンニまでは徒歩20分ほどでカマロンを勧められました。ガイドさん曰く味はほぼジョバンニと同じとのこのことで旅中で一番美味しかったです。
最後にカメハメハ大王を車内から見て終わりでした。
なかなか自分で行くのには大変なので乗ってるだけで連れてくれるのと、日本語が通じる安心感とツアーは満足でした。

Last year, I participated in the tour that started at 11 AM, and it was great, so this year I signed up for the 7:30 AM tour. We went straight to three places: Balance Rock, a coffee bean shop, and the Haleiwa sign. After that, we leisurely explored the shops starting around 10 AM and gathered at 2 PM to return to Honolulu. It was nice that it wasn't crowded since it was early in the morning.

昨年は11時からのツアーに参加して良かったので今年は7時半のツアーに申込みました。
バランスロック　コーヒー豆屋　ハレイワ看板の3カ所を着いてすぐに行きました。その後10時ごろからお店をゆっくり見て2時に集合してホノルルまで帰りました。
朝早くだったので混んでなくて良かったです。

I chose this tour because it had a 90-minute stay, allowing me to ride the train at the Dole Plantation. The driver and guide, who spoke both Japanese and English, assisted with purchasing tickets on-site, making everything very smooth.

The pineapple field tour, which takes about 20 minutes by train, included English commentary, and I was soothed by the vast scenery. It was a lot of fun. I heard that the first train departs at 9:40 AM, but if there are many tourists, it may leave earlier. I recommend heading straight to the platform after purchasing your ticket. If you can get on early, you'll have more time to enjoy souvenir shopping and savor pineapple soft serve.

The plantation opens at 9:30 AM, but they tend to open early, so it's better to use the restroom at the entrance near the ticket booth beforehand.

After the plantation, we headed to the North Shore. The bus stops near Matsumoto Shave Ice, but if you're aiming for garlic shrimp, you'll need to walk about 15 minutes from there. The road is narrow, with traffic and large vehicles passing through, so please be careful. Considering the round trip for lunch, the 120-minute stay might feel a bit rushed, so I recommend acting quickly.

The white wagon serving garlic shrimp had a long line, but it moved surprisingly fast, and I was able to purchase it sooner than expected. The garlic shrimp from the wagon with the shrimp drawing a bit further down was not very crowded, but it took a little longer to prepare. The garlic shrimp was delicious!

After eating, I quickly returned to Matsumoto Shave Ice. There was also a long line there, but I was able to buy it in just under 10 minutes. I think it's a good idea to decide what to order while waiting.

After Matsumoto Shave Ice, there wasn't much time left, so I visited the nearby SNOOPY shop and used the restroom before returning to the bus 10 minutes before departure.

On the bus, the driver provided enjoyable commentary, which kept things interesting. The driving was safe, so I felt at ease.

While it wasn't an overly packed tour, it was a great experience where I could relax at the places I wanted to visit, and I was very satisfied.

ドールプランテーションで列車にのりたかったので、９０分の滞在時間があるこのツアーを選びました。日本語も英語も話すドライバー兼ガイドさんが、現地でのチケット購入サポートをしてくれたので、とてもスムーズでした。
列車でいく約２０分のパイナップル畑ツアーは英語の放送解説付き、そして広大な風景に癒されました。とても楽しかったです。パイナップル列車の始発は９時４０分と聞いていましたが、観光客が多いと早めに始発が出ます。チケットを購入したらプラットホームへ直行をおすすめします。早く乗れれば、早めにお土産選びを楽しめるし、パイナップルソフトクリームを堪能できますよ。
なお、プランテーションは９時半オープンですが早めに開けてくれるので、チケット購入ブース側にある入り口からトイレ使用をしておくとベターです。
プランテーションの後はノースショアへ。マツモトシェイブアイス近くにバスを停めてくれますが、ガーリックシュリンプお目当ての方は、そこから１５分ほど歩く必要があります。道が狭いし、交通量もあり、大型車も通行しているので十分気をつけてください。また、ランチの往復を考えると、ちょっと１２０分の滞在時間は忙しいかもしれませんので、早めに行動をおすすめします。
白ワゴンのガーリックシュリンプは長蛇の列でしたが、意外に進みがよく思ったよりも早く購入できました。もうちょっと歩いたところにあるエビの絵のワゴンのガーリックシュリンプは、あまり混んでないのですが出来上がってくるまでに少し時間がかかりました。ガーリックシュリンプ、美味しかったです！
食べたらすぐにマツモトシェイブアイスまで戻りました。マツモトシェイブアイスも長蛇の列でしたが、１０分弱で買えました。待っている間に注文する内容を決めておくと良いと思います。
マツモトシェイブアイスのあとは時間があまりなかったので、近くのSNOOPYショップと、乗車前のトイレを済ませて、出発１０分前にバスに戻りました。
バスではドライバーさんの楽しい解説があり、飽きずに過ごせました。安全運転でしたので、安心して過ごせました。
盛りだくさんのツアーではないですが、行きたいところでゆっくり過ごせたツアーでしたので、大満足です。

Enjoyed the hike in rainforest even though the hike seemed more like an intermediate level hike instead of a beginner's hike. (maybe I'm just out of shape more than I thought I was!) Driver to and from was friendly and knowledgeable about Manoa Falls and the surrounding areas. The bug spray, walking stick, and water bottle were a definite plus. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Since our driver was Japanese, it was enjoyable to hear various stories about Hawaii during the ride. Gas prices seem to be rising, so if there are two of you, I think it's better than renting a car.

日本人のドライバーさんでしたので車中もハワイについて色々お話が聞けて楽しかったです。ガソリンも高くなっているようなので2人であれば、レンタカーより良いとおもいます。

It was supposed to be a straight-forward excursion... pick us up, drop us off, pick us up again. However, our driver (unfortunately, I did not get his name) was such a hoot!!! At 5am, he had an energy and attitude that made everyone in the bus a little bit happier The pickup was quick and efficient. The driver made every stop an occasion.

I had no problems at all and used the Pink Line comfortably around Waikiki. However, once you go a bit further out, the bus stops can be very hard to find. Without the Lealea mark and with some discrepancies on the map, I felt quite anxious waiting, unsure if I was at the right stop.

ワイキキ周辺やピンクラインも利用出来るので全く問題なく快適に利用しました。
ちょっと郊外に行くとバス停が非常にわかりにくい。
レアレアのマークがないのと地図と若干違いもあり待っていても合っているのか非常に不安でした

However, today I was guided by Ryota, and I made up for what I missed yesterday 💞
It was incredibly fun!!
As a senior who can't speak English, I was relieved to have the guidance in Japanese, which really boosted my spirits 👍
I'm glad I asked Ryota for help.
The only regret I have is that I forgot to take a picture with the handsome Ryota… 💧

First of all, the guide was a really nice person. Thank you very much.

At the Dole Plantation, we had a limited time of 90 minutes, but there were activities like riding the train or going through the maze. I took the train, and I was amazed by the vast scenery that I had never seen before. Next time, I want to try the maze, but it seems that if you go to the maze, there isn't much time left to explore the other shops. You absolutely must try the ice cream!

Next, in Haleiwa, I had planned to eat at Giovanni's, but since it was a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, I decided to skip it and eat garlic shrimp at a different place instead, which was incredibly delicious. The garlic shrimp place I ate at was near a shop that sells acai.

At Spaghettini, which is just a short walk from the bus stop, I had the recommended sandwich from the staff. This place is also recommended. You should definitely try the Matsumoto Shave Ice as well.

Finally, the bus driver and guide was a great person who offered to show us other sights on the way back if we had extra time. You could give tips in cash or by scanning a QR code.

ドールプランテーションでは、90分と限られた時間でしたが、列車に乗る、もしくは迷路を行う等がありました
私は列車に乗りましたが、見たことのないくらい広大な景色が広がっていて感動しました。
次回は迷路に行きたいですが、どうやら迷路に行くとあまりその他ショップなどを巡る時間が少ないです
アイスクリームは絶対食べるべき！

そして次に、ハレイワではジョパンニを食べる予定でしたが停留所から歩いて片道10分ということもあり、その他巡るためにそこはやめて違う店のガーリックシュリンプを食べましたが、最高に美味しかったです
私が食べたガーリックシュリンプの店は、アサイーのある店の近くでした

バス停から歩いてすぐのスパゲッティーニでは店員さんオススメのサンドウィッチを食べました
このお店もオススメです
松本シェーバーも食べるべき

最後に、バス運転手兼ガイドの方は時間が余ったら帰り道にその他観光もしてくれる良い人でした
チップは現金で渡すか、QRコードを読み取る方法でした

Beware! Poor communication and NOT a sunrise tour as stated

This was sold as a sunrise at Diamond Head which turns out NOT ACCURATE AT  ALL! Diamond Head doesn’t even open until 6:00 and sunrise was 6:11 that day. By the time the van was parked it was 6:06. So obviously we did not make it to the top or even to a look out point to view the sunrise. We did get some pretty pictures BUT it was not sunrise by far. Even the pick up location was a rough start and poor, poor communication.  The instructions to 5:15 a.m pick up were at Hyatt Regency and the address. That’s it, that’s all the information that was given. So, we show up, we’re waiting and waiting then the driver calls and ask if we’re coming. Jon told him we’re here where we standing and he said no they’re on the side of the building. We go to the side of the building, which turns out to be a side road. Which looks like a shady looking road for deliveries and the van is parked behind the dumpster, picture attached. Now image this side street, van parked behind the dumpster at 5:00 a.m in the dark.
After the hike we returned at 7:31. Now pick up was at 7:30 and we did show up 1 minute late at  7:31 and the van was gone. Again, we’re waiting and looking. After a few minutes Jon calls. Thankfully we had the phone number from when he called us that morning or we would’ve had no clue what to do. Turns out THEY HAD LEFT! The driver tells us to wait there that he will turn around to come get us. When I questioned the driver about leaving us he said “Julie told you to be back at 7:30” to which I explained  we were back at 7:31 and called you at 7:33. He said I was coming back. I questioned again, “how were we to know that? All we knew was that our tour had left us. You could’ve called like you did this morning but instead you just drove off. “ He was never able to give a reason for just driving off or not even calling. He just kept saying, you were told to be back at 7:30.  My advice DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR WITH THIS

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I think I was able to participate in the tour at a relatively affordable price in this expensive Hawaii. Although it was a half-day tour, they included just the right amount of spots, allowing for efficient sightseeing. If I had to say something, I wish I had more time in Haleiwa. Since lunch time was also during the free exploration time, I ended up enjoying lunch and didn't have any time left to explore or go to the beach.

全体的には素晴らしい体験でした。この物価高いハワイでは比較的に手頃の価格でツアー参加できたと思います。また半日ツアーですが、結構スポットをちょうど良く入れているので、効率よく観光できました。強いていえば、ハレイワでもっと時間ほしかったです。ランチ時間も自由散策時間内なので、結局ランチを楽しんだら散策や海辺には全然行けなくなっちゃいました。

At the Dole Plantation, I got to ride the pineapple train and enjoy pineapple ice cream. The guide showed us how to buy the train tickets. I had expected to see a lot of pineapples while riding the train, but we mostly passed through grassy areas where they weren't very visible. If you looked closely, you could see some pineapple-like plants in the distance. After getting off the train, I realized I could have seen pineapples up close without riding, but I think it's worth taking the ride at least once if you're there.

The pineapple ice cream was large, so we shared it. It was delicious.

We spent about two hours at the North Shore. I thought we might see sea turtles, so I headed towards the ocean, but I didn't find any. After that, we had a meal at a café with an ocean view, and before I knew it, time flew by, and I hurried back to the bus.

While passing a shop near the bus, I was suddenly approached and told I had ten seconds to listen to a sales pitch for cosmetics. The North Shore is vast, and time is limited, so I recommend politely declining if you're not interested in cosmetics.

In Hawaii, it's difficult to travel far without renting a car, so I really enjoyed being able to visit various places on this tour.

ガイドさんは日本語がわかる方で安心感がありました。バスの移動中はずっと日本語と英語でガイドしていました。
ドールプランテーションではパイナップルトレインに乗ったり、パイナップルアイスが食べられました。トレインのチケットはガイドさんが買い方を教えてくれます。トレインに乗ってパイナップルがたくさんあるところをまわると思っていましたが、草原のようなところであまり見られませんでした。よーく見ると遠くにパイナップルみたいなものが実ってました。トレインを降りてから、間近でパイナップルを見られたので乗らなくてもよかったかなと思いましたがせっかく行くなら一度は乗ってみてもいいと思います。
パイナップルアイスは大きいのでシェアしました。美味しかったです。
ノースショアでの滞在時間は2時間ほどでした。ウミガメが見られるかと思い海の方に行きましたが、見つかりませんでした。そのあと海の見えるカフェで食事したらあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまい急いでバスにもどりました。
バスの近くのお店を通りかかったときに突然声をかけられ、10秒と言われて話を聞いていたら化粧品の販売でした。ノースショアは広くただでさえ時間がないので、化粧品に興味のない方は早めに断ることをおすすめします。
ハワイではレンタカーなどを借りないと自分で遠くに行くことは難しいので、今回ツアーでいろいろ行けて楽しかったです。

The 5:00 AM pickup made it easy to reach the trail before the crowds and heat, and the sunrise views from the summit were absolutely worth the early wake-up with rewarding panoramic views of Waikiki and the coastline at the top.

The Waikiki Trolley Hop-On Hop-Off Tour was a very convenient and enjoyable way to explore Honolulu and the surrounding areas at our own pace.

It feels like there are fewer flights compared to before COVID, but it's convenient for shopping, and just being on the ride is enjoyable. I would like to use it again when I go to Hawaii.

コロナ前と比べると便数は少ない気もするけれど、買い物に行くのも便利だし、ただ乗っているだけでも楽しい。
ハワイに行ったらまた利用したい。

I just wanted a round trip, so I chose this option. I'm glad you took care of the entry procedures for me. I usually don't go mountain climbing, but I was able to reach the top relatively easily. If walking isn't a burden for you, I think you can climb without too much difficulty. The scenery was beautiful, and I'm glad I climbed. On the way back, since it was Saturday, I was dropped off at the KCC Market. Thank you for your accommodating service.

In preparation for my trip to Haleiwa, I signed up for the "Dole Plantation → Haleiwa" tour since I didn't have a rental car.

Thanks to Chris, our driver and guide, who introduced everything in Japanese, the journey was enjoyable.

Even though it takes just under an hour to get to Haleiwa by tour bus, considering the hassle and time of public transportation and restroom issues, I recommend taking the tour for those without a car.

The tour bus had a Japanese guide, and there was a restroom on board, which was reassuring. I also appreciated the pickup service close to my hotel.

At Dole Plantation, I focused on shopping rather than going through the maze or riding the train. I was prepared to wait in line at the food court, but fortunately, I was able to buy my food without waiting, allowing me to relax in the courtyard while enjoying ice cream with pineapple chunks. I purchased pineapple candy, pancake mix, and a tote bag as souvenirs.

In Haleiwa, I visited the garlic shrimp restaurant Camaron, recommended by the guide. I ordered the combo, which included two types of shrimp fried in a creamy coconut batter. Both were to my taste, and it was the best garlic shrimp I had during my stay. I wished I could have had it again if I were in Honolulu... highly recommended! ☺︎

After that, we went to Matsumoto Shave Ice and topped our order with condensed milk and mochi, as recommended in the reviews. Sharing a small size between two people was just right. It was delicious, and I recommend the toppings.

We strolled around nearby shops until the meeting time, visited a restroom near the bus stop (which was surprisingly clean), and returned to the bus.

It was a fulfilling day, and I was very satisfied that I signed up for the tour.

ハレイワに行くにあたり、レンタカー等ないので、今回「ドールプランテーション→ハレイワ」のツアーに申し込みました。

運転手兼ガイドのクリスさんが日本語で紹介してくれたおかげで、道中も楽しかったです。

ツアーのバスで行ってもハレイワまで1時間弱かかるため、公共交通機関の手間と時間、トイレ問題等考えても大変なので、車がない人はツアーで行くのをおすすめします。

今回のツアーバスには日本語ガイドに加えて、車内にはトイレがあり安心できました。
またホテル近くまで送迎があったのでありがたかったです。

ドールプランテーションでは、迷路や汽車には乗らず、買い物中心にしました。
フードコーナーは並ぶことを覚悟して行きましたが、タイミングよく並ばず買えたので、中庭でパイナップル果肉付きのアイスを食べながらゆっくり過ごすことができました。
お土産にパイナップルキャンディーとパンケーキミックス、トートバッグを購入しました。

ハレイワでは、ガイドおすすめのガーリックシュリンプ店のcamaron に行きました。コンボ（クリーミーなクリームとココナッツの衣で揚げた海老の2種類）を頼みました。両方とも好みの味で、滞在中食べたガーリックシュリンプの中で1番美味しかったです。ホノルルにあったらもう1回食べたかった…おすすめです☺︎

その後、マツモトシェイブアイスに行き、口コミでおすすめされた練乳と白玉をトッピングしました。小さなサイズを2人でシェアするのが丁度いいです。こちらも美味しく、トッピング推奨です。

集合時間まで近隣の店をぶらぶら巡り、バスの停留所近くのトイレに行き（想像以上に綺麗に清掃されていて驚いた）バスに戻りました。

充実した1日だったので、申し込んでよかったと大満足でした。

Since there were mostly foreign visitors on the large bus, the driver's explanations were mainly in English, but he occasionally included Japanese, which was not a problem.

When we arrived at the Dole Plantation, we were guided to the ticket booth for those going to the train or the maze, where we purchased our tickets and then had the freedom to explore on our own. The maze was hot and I felt like I might get exhausted, so I opted for the train. There were signs for cacao trees and other attractions, making it easy to navigate the spacious and pleasant farm. Unfortunately, the pineapples had turned brown due to heavy rain.

Before boarding, we could purchase a photo taken of us by tapping a card on a machine and selecting backgrounds, but it was expensive, so I decided not to buy it.

At the shop, I bought the famous pineapple soft serve, which also used a machine for selecting toppings.

In Haleiwa, we received a simple map and had free time, so it's a good idea to research places you want to visit in advance. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to Giovanni's, so they recommend Kamaron, which is only a 10-minute walk. It’s a Japanese-owned place with a creamy and gentle flavor.

There are also nearby spots like Island Vintage Coffee, Matsumoto Shave Ice, and the Snoopy Shop, and I was able to leisurely return even after going to the beach.

I enjoyed my time in Haleiwa freely and comfortably.

ハレイワでは簡単な地図をもらって自由行動なので行きたい場所を前もって調べて行くといいです
駐車場からジョバンニまでは徒歩20分くらいかかるのでカマロンを勧められます（徒歩
１０分）
日本人経営でクリーミーでやさしい味でした
アイランドヴィンテージコーヒー等も近くにあり　マツモトシェイブアイスやスヌーピーショップ　海まで往復してもゆっくり戻って来られました

自由にゆったりハレイワを楽しめました

This tour offers more than just what is on the pamphlet. First of all, the trip to the Dole Plantation provided different attractions that are relaxing and self paced with beautiful backgrounds for pictures. There was a large gift shop for those who enjoy a little vacation shopping with a food court where everyone should try at least one of the special pineapple menu items. Secondly, the stop to Haleiwa was a short distance from Dole, and there's so many shops to visit just by walking in a straight line. If you keep moving, you're bound to find something you that interests you, like the shaved ice, surf shops, and snoopy store. For each stop, the tour provides about an hour or two for you to explore yourselves, which is plenty, so you won't have the feeling have being rushed.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the two main stops of the tour, but what made the trip so memorable is the staff and driver of your bus. Our driver was Marlon, and he made it his second priority to make sure everyone in our group knew what options they had before reaching each stop so that we could plan accordingly once we arrive. Of course his first priority was ensuring our safety and comfort, making the tour easier for us to kick back and enjoy. During the extra free time, he even took us to a nearby coffee shop that grows and grinds their own beans. That's something he added to the tour himself since we had free time, but also because he wanted to show us more of the island. He has an excellent sense of humor, and everyone in our group felt comfortable approaching him. He even speaks multiple languages for the passengers that may not be fully fluent in English. During the stops, I noticed him walking around offering to take family photos, starting conversations with people about the places we visited, and answering any questions they had. He is an amazing driver, awesome tour guide, and overall just a friendly person you'd want to have with you when visiting new places.
