We had a great time! The food was good and we loved the view of the ocean. When we first arrived they took a family picture of us. It was nice to have a group picture. :) Even though it was windy that day we still saw some whales. It was amazing to see whales!!! It was too bad that it didn't jump high, but it was still exciting to see their backs and tails. The leis and ukulele class were on at the same time. It did go by fast so we didn't get to join both classes. However, we loved making leis with real flowers!! We had a wonderful experience.

My friend was visiting Oahu for the first time, so I chose this experience thinking we could enjoy various aspects of Hawaiian culture on board. We made leis, danced hula, and played the ukulele. Since it was a weekday, there were no group tours, so we didn't have to wait in long lines for the buffet. Depending on where you sit, it seems you could also see dolphins and whales. It might be worth a visit.

お友達が、オアフ島への訪問が初めてだったので・・船内でハワイの文化を色々体験できると思い選びました。レイを作ったり、フラダンスを踊ったり、ウクレレを弾いたり、平日だった為か団体ツアーが入っておらずバイキングでも長蛇の列を並ぶ必要はありませんでした。座る場所次第でイルカやクジラも見えた様です。行ってみても良いかも。

I chose a package where we could interact with rays because my second daughter loves them. Suddenly, we were handed snorkeling gear, and my 4-year-old and 7-year-old daughters, along with my 71-year-old mother, all tried snorkeling for the first time in their lives. Floating in a deep pool with swimming fish felt refreshing, as if we were entering a fish world. The sensation of touching the belly of a large ray was unlike that of a dolphin, with an indescribable smoothness. I was also thrilled to see fish swarm around the lettuce I held in my hand.

For those who might feel uneasy about floating in a pool where they can't reach the bottom with just a life jacket, it could be challenging.

次女が「エイ」が大好きなので、エイとも触れ合えるパッケージにしました。
いきなりシュノーケルを渡され、４歳、７歳の娘たちも７１歳の母も人生初シュノーケリングに挑戦。
魚が泳ぐ深いプールにぷかぷか浮かび、魚の世界に入れてもらう感じが新鮮でした。
大きなエイのおなかにタッチした感触は、イルカとも違って、なんともいえない滑らかさ。
手に持ったレタスに魚たちが群がるのにも感激しました。

シュノーケルや足が絶対届かないプールにライフジャケットだけで浮かぶことに抵抗がある方には、難しいかもしれません。

I used this with family and friends. Everyone was excited about diving at a depth we usually can't reach! We even saw sea turtles and rays (*☻-☻*). It was truly amazing!!!

I used this service with my family and friends as a group. I was excited about the claim of over 90% encounter rate, but... Despite it being a good time of year, we didn't see any whales up close... We only caught a glimpse of a few spouts and maybe a back, but it was hard to tell... My parents, who were on their first trip abroad, looked a bit disappointed (tears).

家族と友達と団体で利用しました。
90%以上の遭遇率とのうたい文句にきたいしましたが。。。
いい時期にもかかわらず、まじかでクジラは見られず。。。わずかな潮吹きと背中が見えたような見えなかったような。。。。
初海外の両親は少し残念そうにしてました(涙)

I made a reservation for my mother, who cannot swim.
It was very cold inside the submarine.
The air conditioning was too strong, and by the end, my aunt felt unwell.
The visibility in the sea was very poor due to the bad weather until recently.
I was able to see two turtles (honu).
I think that was good.

泳ぐことができない、母のために予約をしました。
潜水艦の中は非常に寒いです。
クーラーが効きすぎて、最後の方は伯母は体調が悪くなってしまったほどです。
先日までの悪天候で海の中の透明度が非常に悪かったです。
亀（ホヌ）を2匹見る事ができました。
それはよかったと思います。

Our cruise was a lot of fun for us all. My son asked to go do it again so we could see more whales. I would definetly do one of these cruises again.

We had a great time on the Star of Honolulu. The ship was comfortable and clean. The rails offered a great platform for picture taking and whale watching. Only minutes out of Honolulu harbor the first whales were sighted. We followed along with them for about 1/2 hour. They would surface every 5 minutes or so. On the way back up to Diamondhead we encountered another pod. After watching them for awhile, it was time for the morning trip to end. All in all... this was one of many highlights for our visit to Oahu.

The price for breakfast included for a family of four is cheap, and all the crew members were kind and friendly, which made the children happy. It was a bit disappointing that we were able to see whales a few times and were satisfied, but I think it would have been even better if we could have seen them up close.

家族４人で朝食付きでこの値段は安い、クルーのみんなも優しく親切で子供たちも喜んでいました。ちょっと残念だったのは、クジラは何度か見ることができて満足できたのですが、もっと間近で見れれば最高だと思います。ぬ

Thanks so much to North Shore Shark Adventures! We had such a great time and the sharks we saw were countless! Even saw a barracuda who lingered around the cage. Captain Tanja and the crew were fantastic. They were knowledgeable,friendly,and funny. We brought home a video of our adventure and are so glad that we did! We would do this again in a minute! (This coming from someone who is afraid of everything = Karen!) I would recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the island. See you next time NSSA!

The whale showed its tail and pectoral fins several times. Even without a tour, you can see whales from points like Makapu'u during this season, but you can't get as close as you can on a tour. I wish I could have seen it jump!

しっぽと胸ビレをバタバタ何度か見せてくれました。
ツアーでなくてもこの時期はマカプウ等の岬からもクジラみれますが、やはりツアーほどの近いポジションで拝めることはなかったです。
ジャンプが見れたらよかったなぁ！

I tried not to get my hopes up too much, but in the end, I was very satisfied. We were able to see whales up close multiple times, and both the kids and adults were extremely excited. I think luck plays a part, but I can definitely recommend it.

期待し過ぎにないようにしていましたが、結果的にとても満足しました。
肉眼で確認できる距離で何度も鯨を確認でき、子どもも大人も大興奮でした。その日の運もあると思いますが、お勧めできます。

The meeting was quite early in the morning and the price was reasonable, but it was definitely worth it!
We were blessed with good weather and the conditions were excellent with no waves.
On the way to the dolphin spot, we encountered a whale! We were able to see the whale's tail.
This year, I plan to buy a lottery ticket.

We discovered a group of about 50 dolphins in the clearest waters on the West Coast.
We jumped in at the perfect timing thanks to our amazing captain.
We were able to see the dolphins up close multiple times!
That sight is something I will never forget; it left a lasting impression on my heart.

Next, we headed to the sea turtle spot.
On the way there, we encountered whales again.
It seemed like a mother and baby whale were practicing their jumps.

At the sea turtle spot, we saw six sea turtles!
We were able to see them up close.
The fish in the sea were also incredibly beautiful.

In the beautiful sea, I was able to see dolphins and sea turtles up close, and I encountered whales as well.
I was captivated by the rich land...
I am extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied!
Next, I want to go to Dolphin University and Manta University!

超超大満足でした!!!!!
かなーーーーり朝早い集合でお値段もそこそこしますが、十分価値のあるものです！
天候にも恵まれ、波のなくコンディション抜群でした。
イルカスポットへ向かっている途中。
くじらに遭遇しました！くじらのシッポをみることができました。
今年は宝くじを購入しようと思います。

西海岸で一番海の透明感が高いところで、イルカさん50匹くらいの団体さんを発見。
超いけてる船長さんのタイミングで入水。
ばっちり間近でイルカを何度も見ることができました！
あの光景は今でも忘れられません。それくらい心に残ります。

続いて、ウミガメさんのスポットへ。
またその移動途中、クジラに遭遇。
どうやらクジラ親子がジャンプの練習をしている様子でした。

ウミガメスポットには6匹のウミガメさんが！
間近で見ることができました。
海のお魚さんもすごーーーーくきれいでした。

きれいな海で、超間近でイルカ・ウミガメにあえ
クジラにも遭遇。
豊かな大地にも心を奪われ、、、、。
超超超大満足です！
次はイルカ大学・マンタ大学にもいきたいです！

I participated with half expectations, considering it was nature. Although I didn't get to see the jumping whales, I was able to see the magnificent spouts and tails up close, right in front of the deck where I was standing. I was so mesmerized that I forgot to take pictures.

The breakfast was delicious too.

With the blue sky and blue sea, and the Hawaiian music flowing gently inside the boat, I think that alone makes it worth the experience.

自然相手ということもあり、期待半分で参加しました。さすがにジャンプするクジラの姿は見れなかったものの、ちょうど立っていたデッキの真ん前＋結構近い距離で、豪快な潮吹きと尾びれを見ることができました。あまりの事に見とれてしまい、写真撮るのを忘れました。w
朝食も美味しかったです。
青い空と青い海。ゆったり船内に流れるハワイアンミュージック。もうそれだけで体験する価値はあるかな、と思います。

I booked a Dolphin Royal Swim to swim with two dolphins! I had only touched them before, so it was a lot of fun to grab their dorsal fins, get pushed by them, and even hold one. However, I couldn't help but think, "Is this all for over 20,000 yen?" Well, from the dolphins' perspective, being in the water for too long might stress them out. Also, there was only one toilet in the changing room, which was a bit lacking.

２頭のイルカと泳ぐ！ドルフィン・ロイヤルスイムに予約しました。
今まで触ったりしたことがあるくらいで、背びれ掴んで泳いだり、
フットプッシュされたり、イルカを抱っこしたり
したことがなかったので、とても楽しかったです。
しかし、２万円以上出してこれだけか…と思ってしまいました。
まあ、イルカからしてみればあんまり長いとストレス溜まってきて
しまうかもしれませんが。
更衣室のトイレの数も１個は少ないです。

I was able to see whales. The explanation in Japanese was clear and easy to understand. However, the latter part felt a bit stretched out.

鯨見れました。日本語の説明もありわかりやすかったです。
しかし、終盤はちょっと間延びした感じです。

I participated with my one-and-a-half-year-old child. I was worried about seasickness, but there was no need to worry about the rocking. My child was delighted to spot a whale and pointed it out! The weather was great, and it was very elegant to look at Waikiki from the sea. We enjoyed the cruise thoroughly. We didn't order breakfast and brought our own bread to eat. Coffee can be purchased on board for $4 if you order it. I'm glad I participated! We drove to the meeting point and were able to park in a nearby parking lot for $5. It was convenient because we could head out right after it was over.

一歳半の子連れで参加しました。
船酔いとかしたら？と心配しましたが、揺れる心配もなく。
子供も鯨を見つけて指差して喜んでいました！！
お天気もよく、海上からワイキキを眺めるのもとっても優雅で。
クルージングとしても十分楽しめました。
朝食は頼まず、パンなどを持参して食べました。コーヒーは注文すれば船内で買えます。(４＄)
参加してよかったです！！
レンタカーで集合場所まで行き、すぐそばの駐車場に停められました。(5＄)
終わったあとはそのまま出掛けられるし便利でしたよ。

I was able to see a lot of whales!
I also got to watch whales spouting water and jumping up close.

Since it was a large boat, I didn't have to worry about seasickness.

たくさんの鯨を見ることが出来ました！
近くで潮を吹いたり、ジャンプする鯨も観れました。

大きな船なので船酔いの心配もありませんでした。

After arriving at Sea Life Park, there was a brief explanation in Japanese. I thought that Japanese wouldn't be understood much beyond that, but I was able to enjoy myself with broken English and broken Japanese!

The dolphins were so cute! w(≧▽≦)w The experience program with the dolphins ended in no time. Next time, I want to try the course where you swim with two dolphins.

Before and after the experience program, I walked around Sea Life Park and enjoyed the seal and dolphin shows, which were quite impressive. It was just the right amount of fun until the meeting time for our return! ♪

シーライフパークに着いてから一通り日本語で説明がありました。
それ以外はあまり日本語は通じないと思いましたが
カタコトの英語、カタコトの日本語でも十分楽しめました！

イルカはかわいかったw(≧▽≦)w
イルカとの体験プログラム自体はあっという間に終わってしまいました。
次回はイルカ２頭と泳ぐコースにチャレンジしたいです。

体験プログラムの前後はシーライフパークを一通り一週したり
アシカやイルカのショーも見応えあって
帰りの集合時間までちょうど良い感じで楽しめました♪

We went to Hawaii for our wedding anniversary. I was really looking forward to whale watching, but unfortunately, we couldn't see any. It's a natural occurrence, so I understand, but I would have been happy to see at least something else if we couldn't see the whales. It's disappointing.

結婚記念日で、ハワイに行きました。
ホエールウォッチングとっても、楽しみにしていましたが、見る事が出来なく残念でした。自然のものなので、しょうがないですが鯨が見れないならせめて違うものが少しでも見れたら嬉しかったですが、残念です。

great experience, the weather was rough but it was still a great time.

At the meeting point, I was told, "You can see them today!!" and indeed, I was able to clearly see the spouting and the tail fin.

The instructor provides directions in Japanese on where to look.

Since the ocean is vast and a bit far away, it's better to bring binoculars.

To get closer, we turned off the engine and approached while swaying with the waves, which made me seasick, so I stayed on the observation deck the whole time. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take some medication.

Before boarding the boat, they take photos, which I purchased to take home.

集合場所で、「今日は見れますよ！！」と言われた通り、
潮を吹くのや、尾びれなどがはっきりと見えました。

インストラクターの方が、見える方向などを日本語で教えてくれます。

やはり広い海、少し遠いので、オペラグラスを持って行ったほうがいいです。

近づく為に、エンジンを切って波に揺れながら近づくので私は船酔いしてしまい、
展望デッキにずっといました。
乗り物酔いされる方は酔い止めを飲まれたほうがいいかもしれません。

船に乗る前に写真を撮ってくれるのですが、それを購入して帰りました。

We took our 4 yr old granddaughter on this Whale Watch Cruise! She enjoyed it from the time we were picked up to the time we were dropped off! Awesome crew. Loved that it was a small and casual. Will definitely be recommending Sea of Dreams to all our friends!

If there is ANYTHING you ever do in your life....DO THIS....ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LIFETIME EXPERIENCE....UNFORGETTABLE

I touched a dolphin for the first time in my life! Just as I imagined, the dolphin's eyes were gentle, and it was a very intelligent creature. I was able to purchase photos, and it became a wonderful experience.

There is one downside, though. The pool was really cold, and the children were shivering. However, I thought it was for the sake of the dolphins, so I could accept that. But when we got out of the pool, there were about four showers in the changing room, and even though they had hot water signs, only cold water came out. Other children were crying from the cold, and adults were screaming while taking showers. I also ended up feeling unwell from that, so I think improvements should be made for future tour guests.

生まれて初めてイルカに触れました！想像していた通り、イルカの目は優しくて、とても賢い生き物でした。
写真も購入でき、とてもいい経験になりました☆
一つだけ悪い点があります。プールがすごく冷たくて、子どもたちが震えていました。でもそれはイルカさんの為だと思い、仕方ないと思えたのですが、プールから上がって、更衣室のシャワーが4台位あったのですが、それがお湯のマークがあるにも関わらず、水しか出ませんでした。他の子どもたちも寒くて大泣きしてましたし、大人たちも悲鳴を上げながらシャワーを浴びていました。私もそこから体調を崩してしまいましたので、今後のツアー客の為にも改善すべきだと思います。

I participated in this plan at my child's request. I was worried about the weather, but we were blessed with good conditions, enjoying the blue sea and a wonderful location. I was concerned about whether we would encounter whales, but many whales greeted us. The lunch was also satisfying, served buffet-style, and it was delicious. Additionally, the staff's activities on board provided a fun time. This became a memorable page of our enjoyable experience in Hawaii. Thank you very much.

子供の要望でこのプランに参加しました。天候が心配されましたが天気に恵まれ、青い海とすばらしいロケーションでした。鯨の歓迎に出会えるか心配でしたが、たくさんの鯨たちが出迎えの挨拶をしてくれました。昼食も、バイキング方式で満足のいくものでした。おいしかったです。また、船内でのスタッフの催しも楽しいひと時でした。ハワイでの楽しい想い出の一ページとなりました。ありがとうございました。

It was great! We felt that it exceeded all of our expectations. One of the best excursions we have done.

For a land lubber prone to sea sickness, this is the only way I could see whales in the ocean. The Navetek ship is amazing for it's stability whether you need it to eliminate nausea, or you are a photographer requiring a steady perch for your telephoto lens.
On the day I went, late Feb, the whales were awesome. There were many families. Lots of breaching, tail displays and some sort of pod wrestling among males, that I had never known about. I dreamed of whales that night.

The pickup car had only us Japanese, and it seemed the driver couldn't speak Japanese, which made us a bit anxious. However, there was a crew member who spoke fluent Japanese and kindly explained the announcements in Japanese, as well as looked after our grandparents who were with us. The children were also treated very kindly. We were able to see whales multiple times and even witnessed them spouting water, which was wonderful.

お迎えの車は日本人は私たちだけでドライバーさんも日本語NGな様子で少し不安になりましたが、船員さんに日本語ペラペラな方がいてアナウンスの内容を日本語で教えてくれたり、一緒に行った祖父母を気づかってくれたり、子どもたちもとても可愛がってもらい親切にしていただきました。
クジラも何回も確認でき潮吹きも見れてもても良かったです。
