We did a shorter sunset cruise, and the captain and crew were able to navigate windy conditions incredibly. Most of us on board did not have sea legs, and ended up loving the experience. Would 100% book again!

After passing by the pool bar at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, we arrived at the check-in area. After signing some documents, we boarded the boat right in front of the beach.

Once we set sail, we were immediately served Mai Tais and enjoyed cruising while taking in the night view. We watched fireworks in front of the Hilton Hotel! The view of the fireworks from the sea was fantastic as we could see the entire display!

After the fireworks, we cruised for a while, admiring the beautiful night view of the hotels. I went with my mother, who is in her 80s, and we had a great time without any rocking.

It was mid-July, but it was surprisingly chilly on the water during the fireworks, so having something to wrap around you would be nice. After the tour, we disembarked on the beach, so our feet were covered in sand, but there was no place to wash them off.

Since it was an English tour, we were the only Japanese people there. I can't speak English, but it was no problem at all, and we had a wonderful time!

シェラトンワイキキホテルのプールバー横を抜けると、チェックイン場所に到着。書類にサインした後、目の前の浜辺から上船します。
出航したら、すぐ、マイタイが配られ、夜景を楽しみながらクルージング。そして、ヒルトンホテル前で花火鑑賞！海から眺める花火は、全体が見えてとても素敵！
花火後は、華やかな夜景のホテル群を眺めながら、しばらくクルージング。
８０代の母と乗りましたが、揺れもなく楽しめました。
７月中旬でしたが、花火の時間帯の海上は意外と肌寒いので、羽織るものがあるといいですね。
ツアーが終わると浜辺に降りるので、足は砂だらけですが、洗う場所はありません。
英語ツアーだったせいか、日本人は私達だけ。英語はできないけど、全く問題なく、素敵な時間を過ごせました！

This was a great, relaxing sailing along the ko’olina coast. The drinks and snacks were surprisingly really good. We have 3 children (15, 12, and 9) and they all had a good time. There are some amazing views and the vibe is very laid-back. One of the crew-members (Ali) was awesome with my 15 year old who is really interested in going to school in Hawaii. She took time to share her personal experiences with her and it was greatly appreciated. The entire crew was great and we really enjoyed this tour.

The vow renewal package is 100% worth it!! What an amazing experience! Captain Mike renewed our vows on the deck. The staff was amazing enough to not just capture photos but also a video which is so memorable! The food was delicious.... a 5 course meal served to us. Way to much for me to eat but totally fresh and delicious food! The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The Polynesian show was super cool! Overall absolutely worth every cent!!!! A must do!

The Polynesian show is very impressive，all the staff on board are nice, because of the weather we didn’t saw the beautiful sunset, but we saw the rainbow. we did not like food, anyhow it is a nice journey !

The crew were both helpful and entertaining. Would definitely go out on this trip again.

I have been to Hawaii many times, but this was a wonderful sunset cruise like I have never seen before. There were hardly any Japanese people, mostly folks from the mainland, but everyone, regardless of age, was excited, drinking, dancing, and swimming. It was a very enjoyable two hours.

私が何度もハワイへ行ってますが、今までに見た事のない、素晴らしいサンセットクルーズでした。日本人がほとんどおらず、メインランドの方々でしたが、年齢問わずみんな盛り上がり、飲んで踊って、泳いでととても楽しい2時間でした。

The boat was a bit rocky.
The food was delicious but felt cheap.
The fireworks were amazing.
If the boat were bigger, maybe the rocking would be less.

The food was ok. The noodles were the best part. The entertainment wad better definately. Did not get to see as much sunset due to the mountains.

It was the perfect welcome activity for the family! The cruise was relaxing, the crew very friendly. It rained very briefly which was ok because it gave us a beautiful rainbow. We loved the magical sunset colours.

The pick up point was very accessible, right on Waikiki beach which is just walking distance from our hotel (and most hotels). Prepare to get your feet and/or legs wet when boarding and getting off but it was part of the experience! The price is also reasonable and allows you to bring drinks of your choice.

Would do it again if we’re back.

This was my first time participating. I felt really good with the free drinks, and when I went to the front of the boat, I got soaked from the waves. However, everyone else participating was also wearing happy smiles and was very friendly, which made me feel even better. The weather was great that day, and I got to see the most beautiful sunset. I decided that I would participate again next time. Thank you!

今回、初めて参加しました。フリードリンクでとても気分良くなり、船の前方まで行くと、波を直に浴びてびしょ濡れになりましたが、参加されてる他の方々もみんなハッピーな笑顔でとてもフレンドリーでさらに気分が上がりました。この日は天候も良く最高に綺麗な夕日が見れました。次回もまた参加しようと思いました。ありがとうございました！

Setting sail as the sun begins to set. As we head out to sea, the full view of Waikiki's skyline along with Diamond Head comes into sight. During this time, the sun sets behind the western mountains. By the time the western sky turns orange and the heavens become purple, we arrive at the dock. It's a brief experience, but this tour allows you to enjoy Waikiki from the sea. Give it a try!

Diving from the boat was the best experience for swimming. After that, a jacket is essential because it gets cold. The sunset was also very beautiful.

船からのダイブでスイミングは最高の経験。
その後、寒いので上着は必須です。
サンセットもとっても綺麗でした。

This is an experience you don't want to miss !
Crew and captain are definitely top tier !

Open bar, Great mai tai's, beautiful sunset, great crew, good music.

Since we had an all-you-can-drink option, after heading a bit out to sea, everyone except those who couldn't drink was served a Mai Tai. It was sweet and easy to drink.

After that, everyone enjoyed their beers while swaying on the boat, gradually moving away from the shore, and we could see the beautiful Diamond Head in full view. With music playing, we sang together, drank, and enjoyed the sunset, creating a lovely atmosphere and a fun time.

The staff were also very lively, taking photos with us and letting us steer the boat, which was a lot of fun. We even saw a beautiful rainbow.

The sunset was stunning, but even on a cloudy day when the sun wasn't visible, it felt like we could still have a great time on the boat!

私たちは飲み放題だったので、少し沖に出てからまず、飲めない人以外に全員マイタイが配られました。甘くて飲みやすかったです。

そのあとはみなさん自由にビールなどを飲みながら船に揺られ、だんだんと海辺から離れ綺麗にダイヤモンドヘッドが一望出来てきます。
音楽も流れみんなで歌いながら、お酒を飲みながら夕日も見えてきて綺麗な景色と楽しい時間を過ごせました。

スタッフの方々もノリノリで一緒に写真を撮ったり撮ってもらったり、船の操縦をさせてもらったりとても楽しかったです。
さらには綺麗な虹も見えました。

夕日も綺麗ですが、曇って夕陽が見えない日ですら楽しく過ごせそうな船でしたよー！

I participated in June 2023. It was a night cruise with a fireworks viewing. I couldn't understand most of the explanations and safety instructions on the boat since they were all in English, but I could tell that all the passengers were really excited.

After the fireworks, we drifted at sea for nearly an hour, just drinking and having a good time. If you can speak English, I think you would be able to join in on the fun.

I was just trying to cope with seasickness and holding in my need for the restroom. I wasn't sure if there was a restroom on the boat, so I endured until we returned to port. Since drinks are unlimited, I think it's best to check on the restroom situation beforehand.

2023年6月に参加しました。花火鑑賞付きで夜からの乗船でした。船の説明や注意事項はすべて英語でほとんど分かりませんでしたが、乗客全員のテンションが上がっていることはわかりました。
花火後は一時間近く海を漂って、ひたすら飲んで騒ぐといった感じでした。英語が話せる方であれば一緒に騒いで楽しめると思います。
私は船酔いとトイレを我慢することで精一杯でした。トイレは船に設置されているのかわからなかったので、帰港までひたすら耐えておりました。ドリンクが飲み放題なので、トイレの確認はきちんとされたほうが良いと思います。

This is a beautiful cruise. The crew were amazing and helpful with any questions or drink request. There is a small bathroom on the boat and the captain even took music request from us. We will definitely do again, and loved everything.

We boarded the Star of Honolulu for a vow renewal to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Forty years ago, we also participated in a dinner cruise for our honeymoon. With the captain present, we renewed our vows against the backdrop of Diamond Head! We toasted together! The captain said, "Please come back in another 20 years!" The guide spoke in Japanese and took many photos for us. The weather was great, we saw a rainbow, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful. The complimentary champagne and food were delicious, and everyone on board was lively, making it a very enjoyable time.

結婚４０周年でバウ・リニューアルでスターオブホノルル号に乗船。
４０年前にも新婚旅行でディナークルーズに参加しました。船長さんの立ち会いでダイヤモンドヘッドを背景にバウ・リニューアル！三人で乾杯！船長さんから「次２０年後に又来てください」のお言葉！案内の方が日本語でお話ししてくれ、写真もたくさん撮っていただきました。天気もよく、虹も見え、夕陽も大変綺麗でした。サービスのシャンパン、料理もおいしく、船内は皆さんノリノリでとても楽しいひとときでした。

Went on the Sunset Cruise mid week, spectacular! Was a little concerned about the ‘barefoot cruise’ advice, but all good, it made good sense.
Our Captain (also DJ) & bartender were welcoming, entertaining and inclusive.
We had such a good time, have booked for the Friday night cruise. ✅

The experience had a little of everything. Great drinks! Great people! An exciting journey around Diamond head, big swells and some splashing! Then when we turned back toward shore it was a lot calmer. The deck hands were out of this world incredible! The sunset was chill and peaceful!

I would do this again in a heartbeat!

It was my first time participating. I arrived before the meeting time, but the foreigners seemed to wait for the meeting time for up to 40 minutes longer than scheduled. The last arrivals didn't seem apologetic at all, so perhaps the departure time was delayed from the start. I thought it might be better to set the meeting time a bit later.

However, sailing was very enjoyable, and the view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the blue sky from the sea was amazing. There was a time when those who wanted to swim could jump into the water after the engine was turned off, and they provided floats to wear, which looked fun.

There were few Japanese participants, and all announcements were in English, but it wasn't particularly inconvenient. I also saw turtles and large fish. After swimming, it seemed cold when getting back on the boat, so I thought it would be good to have a sweatshirt or hoodie since sailing continues until sunset. There is no place on the boat to change out of wet clothes.

The price was reasonable, and I was satisfied.

初めての参加でした。
集合時間前に行ったのですが、外国人の方達は集合時間が何時になってるのか予定集合時間より最大で40分は待ちました。最後に来た人達は申し訳なさそうな感じも無く普通でしたので、
最初から出航時間が遅かったのかもしれません。
なら、もう少し集合時間遅くしてもいいのでは？と思いました。
でも、セーリングはとても楽しくて海から見えるワイキキからダイヤモンドヘッドと青い空は最高でした。途中でエンジン止めて泳ぎたい人は海に飛び込んで泳ぐ時間があります、体に巻く浮きを貸してくれるので楽しそうでした。
日本人の参加は少なく、全て英語アナウンスですが、特に不自由はありません。
亀や大きな魚もみれました。
泳いだ後に船に上がった後は寒いみたいです、夕日が沈むまでセーリングは続くのでトレーナーパーカーとかがあったほうがいいかとおもいました。濡れた服を着替える場所は船上にはありません。
値段も休めですし満足です。

We liked that we could take our own food. Perfect for those with allergies.

I participated with my best friend couple, making four of us. There were few Japanese people, which added to the exotic feel. Then, everyone jumped into the water off Waikiki! I can't swim well, but I jumped into the beautiful sea. I was nervous, but it was fun. Enjoying the swim and sunset had a different charm compared to a big boat, and I made great memories.

親友夫婦と4人で参加しました。日本人は少なく異国感も充分。するとワイキキの沖でなんと皆んな飛び込むではないですか！
自分はまともに泳げないけど綺麗な海に飛び込んで､焦ったけど楽しかった。
大きな船とは違う魅力でスイム&サンセットを満喫､いい思い出が出来ました。

The staff at the Outrigger's Holokai Catamaran were very pleasant, and once we set sail, the crew's service was also wonderful. We enjoyed the swells on the yacht while sipping rum mixed with passion fruit juice.

Around 7:30, the fireworks from the Hilton began, and we got more cocktails from the all-you-can-drink option, which added to the excitement.

As Japanese people, we might be a bit shy, but we enjoyed the cheerful and lively atmosphere created by the Western guests.

It became a very good memory. Thank you!

アウトリガーのホロカイカタマラン受付スタッフの対応が感じ良くて、出航すると、船頭？さんたちの対応が、また、素晴らしく、ヨットで波によるうねりを楽しみながら、ラム酒のパッションフルーツジュース割りをいただきました。
7時半過ぎ位から、ヒルトンの花火が始まり、飲み放題のカクテルをおかわりして、盛り上がりました。
我々日本人は恥ずかしがり屋かもしれませんが、西洋人の方々の陽気で明るい、多騒ぎを楽しませてもらいました。
とても良い思い出になりました。
