We participated in a tour on the morning of December 19, just as the season started, as a couple. Although we only got to see a dolphin briefly, it was not a disappointing experience, and we were satisfied with the cruise, which had a different charm from the sunset dinner. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the background of the photo taken during boarding included an old warehouse and a cargo ship. (However, since it was a keepsake, I ended up purchasing it...) The food was cheap. Since we were returning home the next day, the reboarding ticket seems like it will go to waste, but I was satisfied as it provided a good conversation starter.

今シーズンがスタートしたばかりの12/19の午前中のツアーに夫婦で参加しました。
イルカをちょっと見られただけで、残念な結果ではありましたが、サンセットディナーとは趣の違うクルーズで満足でした。
敢えて苦言を呈するなら、乗船時の写真撮影で、背景に古ぼけた倉庫と貨物船が写っていたこと。（でも、記念なので購入しましたが・・・）。食事がチープ。
翌日帰国だったので、再乗船のチケットは無駄になりそうですが、話のタネとして満足でした。

We booked the early bird whale watching tour in early January. The ship, crew and food were great but we didn't see as many whales as I had hoped. We did find two whales swimming together and the ship was able to follow them for awhile so we got a few good pictures of the whales blowing water up, their backs surfacing and their tails coming out of the water.


It sounds like that was considered a good trip for Honolulu whale watching so I was happy with it. A lady we talked to had gone out on the same tour the day before and she didn't see anything so she came back out with our group the next day.


If you're looking to really see the whales, I would suggest going to Lahaina in Maui if possible. My husband and I booked an island tour of Maui later on in our vacation and we saw more whales in a shorter time period by driving down the coast near Lahaina than we did on our whale watching tour in Honolulu. It's still a good tour for those in Oahu though!

I had never visited Hawaii during the winter season, so I was looking forward to whale watching. The boat was large and more than adequate, but since it carried many passengers, I wished they had made some efforts to gather information about the whales in advance with smaller boats, so that the guests could enjoy the experience more. Because the boat was so big, it couldn't maneuver easily, and while the captain was likely focused on finding the whales, I felt there could have been a bit more creativity in their approach. Additionally, they offered tickets for another trip if we didn't see any whales, but since the validity period was only until March, it limits those who can return to Hawaii soon. I think at least a one-year validity would be more reasonable. I was also told that the only time available for a second trip was the same morning time, but if they truly wanted to provide good service, they should accommodate afternoon times as well. Everyone has their schedules set while in Hawaii, so I believe that kind of flexibility is necessary.

冬の時期にハワイを訪れたことがなかったので、ホエールウォッチングは楽しみにしていました。船は大きく申し分ありませんでしたが、乗船客もたくさん乗せているので、鯨がいくら自然の生き物であっても、先に小さめの船で鯨の情報を集めておくとか、少しでもお客さんが楽しめるように工夫をしてほしかったです。船が大きいために、小回りが利かないし、船長も鯨を求めて操縦しているのでしょうけれども、もう少し工夫ができるのではないかと感じてしまいました。さらに、鯨に会えなかったら、再度乗船できるチケットを配っていましたが、乗船できる期間も3月まででは、もう一度ハワイにすぐ来れる人は限られてしまうので、せめて有効期限は1年間にしてほしいと思います。乗船できる時間も朝の同じ時間しか無理だと言われましたが、本当に再度乗船してほしいというサービス精神があるのならば、午後の時間でも対応してほしいです。みんな、それなりにハワイでのスケジュールが決まっていると思うので、そのくらいの対応は必要だと思います。

On the first day of this tour, we didn't see any whales at all. We were in the afternoon group, but it seems the morning group had the same experience. We just ended up enjoying a leisurely cruise.

このツアーが始まった初日だったせいか、クジラの姿は、全く見られませんでした。私たちは、昼からだったのですが、午前の部も同様だったそうです。ゆったりクルージングを楽しんだだけで終わりました。

At the beginning of the tour, I saw a glimpse of a whale's tail, but after that, nothing at all. It started to rain, which was a bit disappointing. Well, since it's nature, I guess there's nothing you can do about it.

ツアーのはじめの方で、クジラのしっぽが少し見えたのですが、その後は全く。雨も降ってきてしまい、ちょっと残念な結果でした。ま、自然相手なので、仕方ないかな、と思います。

I was able to see the whale perfectly. I'm also satisfied with the ray I created. However, I was surprised by how expensive the parking fee was.

くじらは、バッチリ会う事ができました。
レイも作成して、満足です。
ただ、ﾊﾟｰｷﾝｸﾞ代の高いこと、びっくりしました。

This cruise was def. something worth seeing! It gets a little chilly out on the ocean; should bring a jacket, but it def. was amazing and beautiful! I totally recommend it to anyone!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any whales this time, but I did get to see dolphins. There were a few people who joined alone, so it's a tour that you can easily participate in. Next time, I definitely want to see whales in person!!

残念ながら今回はクジラを見ることはできませんでしたが、イルカを見ることはできました。一人で参加の方も数名いましたし、気軽に参加できるツアーです。次回こそはクジラを生で見てみたいです！！

The cruising this time was blessed with good weather, and we even encountered whales off the coast of Diamond Head, making it the best event. My family who participated together was very satisfied. I understood that the limited variety of food at the buffet was acceptable given that it was on a ship. I also appreciated the somewhat hesitant Japanese explanations. After the whale encounter, there were activities on board like hula dance lessons, ukulele lessons, and lei-making experiences, ensuring that passengers were not bored, which made for a fun time.

今回のクルージングでは好天に恵まれ、またダイヤモンドヘッド沖でクジラにも遭遇でき、最高のイベントとなりました。
一緒に参加した家族も大満足です。
ビュッフェでの料理で食材の種類が限られるのも、船内でのビュッフェということで納得。
たどたどしい日本語の解説も好感が持てました。
クジラとの遭遇が終わった後も、船内ではフラダンス講習、ウクレレ講習、レイの手作り体験等、乗客が退屈しないような取組みがされており、楽しい一時でした。

This was my fourth trip to Hawaii, and I finally got to visit Hanauma Bay. The views were amazing, and snorkeling was fun. The steep path to the beach was easy to navigate with the bus included in the Alan Wong tour. On the last day, I went again and was even more impressed. I want to go to Hanauma Bay again next time.

ハワイ４回目で初めて行けたハナウマ湾。素晴らしい眺望とシュノーケルは楽しかった。海岸までの急な坂道もアランワンのツアーなら、バス付きで楽々往復できました。最終日のもう一度行ってさらに感動。次も、また、ハナウマベイに行きたいです。

The weather was nice, and I had high hopes, but unfortunately, I couldn't see it this time. I hope for the next time. The chicken tandoori was delicious.

天気もよく期待していたのですが今回は残念ながら見ることが出来ませんでした。次回に期待したいと思います。食事はチキンタンドリー美味しかったです。

The local staff were very attentive, and I was able to have a really enjoyable time.

現地スタッフの対応も卒がなく、とても楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました。

Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy, I was wondering how it would turn out, but we were able to have a great time with cheerful music and at a speed that didn't make us dizzy. We could see Diamond Head very closely, and the night view of the buildings was also very beautiful. I'm very satisfied!

あいにくの曇り空となりどうかなと思っていたけれど陽気な音楽と酔わない程度のスピードで楽しく盛り上がることができました。ダイヤモンドヘッドがとても近くから見ることができ、ビルの夜景もとても綺麗でした。大満足です！

I participated on December 23rd. Since it was December, I thought I might not encounter any whales, but I was able to see whales several times, which was enjoyable.

12月23日に参加しました。12月なので、クジラに遭遇出来ないかも知れないと思っていましたが、何度かクジラを見ることが出来て楽しかったです。

I had booked the submarine early, so after much deliberation, I signed up for the sunset cruise two days before departure... and it was a great decision! The staff were excellent at getting everyone excited, and the atmosphere, filled with English and Spanish speakers, was enjoyable since there were few Japanese people.

I didn't drink much, but the young foreigners in the group were drinking a lot and having a great time, which made me excited just watching them.

The view from the yacht was amazing, and the high-speed cruise had me thrilled regardless of my age (laughs). My husband was also very satisfied with the different colors of the sea compared to the beach and Diamond Head. I would love to join again when I go with friends.

サブマリンを早々と予約していたのでサンセットクルーズを悩んだ末、出発2日前に申し込みました。。。大正解！
スタッフの盛り上げ方が上手で日本人が少なく、英語やスペイン語があふれる雰囲気も楽しかったです。
私はあまり飲まなかったけれど、グループ参加の外国の若い方たちは大いに飲み盛り上がり、見ているだけでこちらまでわくわくしました。

ヨットからの眺めは最高で　スピードを上げてのクルーズは自分の年を省みず大興奮（笑）
夫もビーチからとは違う海の色やダイヤモンドヘッドに大満足でした。
友人と行くときにもまた参加したいです

I enjoyed a longer sailing time than I expected. The captain and the crew were cheerful, taking the boat slowly at times and speeding it up at others... I had a great time.

思ったよりも長いセーリング時間で堪能できました。
キャプテンも船員の方も陽気な方で、船をゆっくり運転したり飛ばしてくれたり…
とっても楽しめました。

For those considering an easy marine activity, you can enjoy 90 minutes of sailing off the coast of Waikiki with your children. The boat is new, and the staff is friendly. It was unfortunate that we were the only Japanese guests on a fully booked day.

Departure and return are from Waikiki Beach, making access excellent. Wearing swimwear is recommended, but just make sure to wear something that can get wet. The danger level is extremely low. There are no issues with participation for seniors. Both my wife and I qualified for the senior discount. Once you experience it, you might become addicted. You'll definitely want to recommend it to others. Not understanding English is not a problem at all. Mahalo.

手軽なマリーンactivityをお考えの方お子様連れの方、90分ワイキキ沖のsailing楽しめます。　　船も新しい、stuffもfriendly。　当日満席、日本人は我々だけだったのが残念。

出航、帰着がワイキキビーチからなのでアクセス抜群。　swim wear着用が望ましいが、とりあえず濡れてもいい格好で乗船すること。　　危険度は極めて低い。　爺、婆の参加問題なし。我々夫婦共にsenior discount 対象。　
一度体験すると病み付きになりそう。　きっと他人にも薦めたくなる。　英語分からなくても全然問題なし。　mahalo　　　　　

This cruise was so much fun! We really enjoyed the crablegs, and the Mai Tai's are the best in Waikiki! They really get you involved by getting you up to dance and sing! It was my wedding night, so they sang the Hawaiian Wedding Song to me and my new hubby, and the next day was my birthday so they also sang Happy Birthday to me! It was a great, fun, romantic activity, and I would definitely do it again!

I wanted to enjoy activities at the beach and have fun drinking!

I decided to participate because it seemed like they could accommodate those requests. I heard from other comments that there were hardly any Japanese people, but during my time, there were about three other groups.

I don't understand the language at all, but the atmosphere is nice.

It feels like only the Japanese are enjoying the all-you-can-drink option. The other foreigners were taking orders.

But even though it was a short time, it was quite fulfilling.

- The view of Diamond Head in the daylight
- The sight of numerous yachts floating on the sea
- The view of Honolulu from the ocean
- A wonderful sunset
- Diamond Head glowing in the sunset light

Additionally, it was quite windy on the yacht, so I brought something to wear. Just when I started to feel a bit tipsy, my friend's shirt flew away!!

It got blown away by the wind and disappeared into the sea...

Oh no (laughs).

Well, since we had some drinks, we laughed about it, and it became a fun memory.

Everyone, please be careful not to lose anything in the sea!

聞いていたけど、私の時は、他に３組ほどいました。

言葉は全然分からないけど、雰囲気は良いです。

日本人だけ飲み放題な感じです。
他の外国人の人たちは、注文とってたし。



でも短時間なのに、かなり充実していました。

The day I participated was mostly cloudy, and unfortunately, the sunset was hidden behind the clouds. However, I was deeply moved when the sun briefly showed its face.

I also went on a snorkeling tour during the daytime cruise, but the night view of Waikiki was so beautiful that I recommend the sunset cruise if you have to choose one.

I had trouble finding the restroom, but if you ask the staff, they will guide you. There is a lever at the entrance to flush the toilet. It was cleaner than I expected.

I think it's the best activity you can easily join from Waikiki!

参加した日は一日曇りがちでしたが、サンセットも残念ながら太陽がかくれていました。なので一瞬顔を見せた夕日に感動ひとしおでした。

昼間のクルージングもシュノーケリングツアーで乗りましたが、ワイキキの夜景がとてもきれいだったので、どちらか乗るならサンセットがおすすめです。

トイレがわからなくて困りましたが、スタッフに声をかければ案内してくれます。水を流すのは入口のところにレバーがあります。思ったより清潔でした。

ワイキキから気軽に参加できる最高のアクティビティだと思います！

We took a dinner cruise on the last night to celebrate my parents' 60th birthday and wedding anniversary.

First, we were welcomed with a welcome drink, ukulele music, and hula dancing as we boarded the ship. The staff's service was excellent, and there were staff members who spoke Japanese.

During the vow renewal, the captain acted as the officiant, offering congratulatory words and reciting the vows of love. We brought leis in advance and exchanged them with my parents. It was a wonderful experience to reaffirm their love and support for each other.

After us, a young foreign couple also had a vow renewal ceremony. Following that, we enjoyed champagne while taking photos with the captain and our family. The sunset was incredibly romantic.

The food was average, but the champagne included in the package, as well as the cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails available with coupons, were very Hawaiian and delicious. The jazz performance was lovely as well.

It might be a good idea to take something for motion sickness. We used a limousine for transportation. Since we don't usually ride in limousines in Japan, it was a great experience.

Although the price is a bit high, it was perfect for the celebration, and my parents were very happy.

両親の還暦祝いと結婚記念日祝いの為、最終日の夜にディナークルーズを利用させていただきました。
まずウェルカムドリンクとウクレレ、フラダンスに迎えられ、船に乗り込みます。
スタッフのサービスも良かったです。日本語が出来るスタッフもいました。
バウリニューアルでは、キャプテンが結婚式の神父様の役割をしてくださり、お祝いの言葉と、愛の誓いを言ってくれます。
レイは事前に用意して行き、両親に交換してもらいました。これからも愛し合い、助け合って行くことを再認識できるので、とても良かったと思います。
私たちの後に、若い外国の方がバウリニューアルしていました。
その後シャンパンを飲みながらキャプテンと家族で写真を撮ってもらえます。
サンセットはとてもロマンチックでした。
料理は普通でしたが、パックについていたシャンパンや、クーポンで飲むことが出来るカクテル、ノンアルコールカクテルがハワイらしく、味もとても美味しかったです。
ジャズ演奏もステキでした。
乗り物酔いは飲んだほうが良いかもしれません。
送迎はリムジンを利用しました。日本では乗ることがないので、良い体験ができました。
少し料金は高くなりますが、お祝いにはぴったりです。両親にとても喜んでもらえました。

had a great time on the cruise. food was great. the view was awsome. the staff was great. loved the entertainment. you are treated very well.

Ship was clean, sailing was fun. The food was not especailly great (except the cream puffs--defrosted frozen, love them!), and I was surprised that the alcohol was not good quality and the beer was limited to two types. We just sailed back and forth for about 1 1/2 hours off the coast of Waikiki, saw fireworks that lasted about 10 mins, and couldn't see them well unless you were on the front of the boat (and not everyone could fit up there. The crew were polite but not very interactive. Wouldn't do it again.

It was a trip with three middle-aged men. Last time, we spent our time playing golf on a trip that was postponed for a year due to 9/11. This time, one of the companions, who is from a certain prestigious yacht club, expressed a desire to go sailing, so I searched online.

Fortunately, we managed to book the fireworks for Friday. We parked the rental car in the parking area and arrived at the yacht harbor in just three minutes on foot. While looking for the ticket booth, I found two Hawaiian girls at the far end inside the booth. When I asked them in my broken English, it turned out to be a lucky coincidence. I wish they had provided a bit more information in the instructions.

Before departure, I took a picture of the sunset. Other participants included only us Japanese and a newlywed couple. The rest were about twenty Americans. The explanations were in English and were quite brief.

We set sail and navigated around Waikiki and Kahala. The view from the sea was breathtaking. I had an unpleasant memory of being swept away while windsurfing off Kahala when I was younger. We spent time until the fireworks with beer and light snacks, which were quite nice. I was surprised by the strength of the Hawaiian girl crew when they raised the sails.

We went back and forth in the bay until the fireworks, and everyone was in a state of "Are the fireworks really going to happen?" Gradually, as they lowered the sails and we were just floating around, the fireworks went off with a bang. I expected Japanese fireworks, but the fireworks off the coast of Hawaii were quite impressive as well. The older Americans danced to the music.

It lasted about ten minutes. I highly recommend it. As stated, a windbreaker is essential. We, the middle-aged men, were satisfied and headed back home.

おっさん３人の旅行でした。
前回は９、１１で１年延期の旅行でゴルフ三昧で過ごしました。今回は同行者が某大ヨット部出身でヨットに乗りたいとの希望が有りネットで探しました。
運良く金曜日の花火を申し込みました。
レンタカーを駐車エリアに停め徒歩３分でヨットハーバーに到着。チケットブースを探していると一番端にハワイアンガール２名がブースの中に。
つたない英語で聞くとラッキーな事にビンゴでした。
もう少し説明書に書いてくれたらなー。と
出発前夕日をパチり。
参加者は日本人は我々の他新婚？カップルのみ。
あとはアメリカン２０名程度。
説明は英語でさっぱりでしたが。
出航しワイキキ、カハラ沖を航行。
海からの景色は絶景でした。
以前若からし頃カハラに宿泊しウィンドサーフィンでカハラ沖に流されたイヤーな思い出とともに。
花火まではビール、軽食で過ごしましたがなかなか
でした。
クルーのハワイアンガールがセールを張る時の力の有る事に驚き。
湾内を花火まで行ったり来たりで皆「本当にはなびがあがるのー」状態
徐々にセールを降ろしチャップチャップした頃花火がドーン。
日本の花火を期待したらですがハワイ沖での花火も
中々なもの。
老齢のアメリカンはミュウ一ジックにダンス。
時間的には１０分程か。
お勧めしますよ。
説明通りウインドブレイカーは必須ですよー。
我々オジンも満足して帰路へ。

A wonderful experience from start to finish.

From the moment you board, as a couple, family, or with friends, you truly
relax and unwind with fantastic crew, hospitality and the most amazing scenery you could possible wish for.

Certainly a must to do do whilst in Waikiki.

Initially, I was scheduled to board on the second day of my stay, but unfortunately, the second and third days were booked for a private group, so I boarded two days before my return. I had checked the weather forecast for the latter half of my stay and found that the weather was not looking good, so it wasn't a cloudless sunset as predicted, but with some clouds, I was able to enjoy the changing colors of the clouds.

Most of the passengers were foreigners (I was also a foreigner in Hawaii!), primarily Americans, with only one other Japanese couple on board. Although Japanese was not spoken, I didn't feel inconvenienced during the approximately one-and-a-half-hour cruise while listening to Hawaiian music.

Since it was a catamaran, I expected less rocking, but unfortunately, the wind was strong and the waves were high, so it rocked quite a bit. My wife is not fond of boats, but she took motion sickness medication, so she was fine. The kids were thrilled.

I have also been on the Hilton's submarine, so there wasn't anything new for me to see from the boat looking at Waikiki, but those who are boarding for the first time will likely enjoy it.

Two drink tickets were distributed for alcohol, allowing for beer or champagne. Junk food and teriyaki chicken were served, but since this is a cocktail cruise, don't expect much in terms of food. If you get a good sunset, it will be fantastic!

当初は、滞在2日目に乗船予定でしたが、あいにく団体貸切に2日目、3日目がとられてしまい帰国2日前に乗船しました。天気予報で滞在後半、天気が芳しくないことを調べていたので、予報通り雲の無いサンセットではありませんでしたが、そこそこ雲があると雲の色の変化も楽しめます。
ほとんどが外人（私もHAWAIIでは外人！！）アメリカ人で日本人はもう1カップルのみでした。
日本語は通じませんが、Hawaiiannを聞きながら約1時間半のクルーズには不便を感じませんでした。
双胴船なので揺れが少ないはずでしたが、あいにく風が強く波も高かったので、結構揺れました。妻は船が苦手でしたが酔い止めb薬を飲んでいたので大丈夫でした。
子供は大喜びでした。
小生は、ヒルトンのサブマリンも乗船しているので、船から見るWAIKIKIに目新しさはありませんでしたが、初めて乗られる方はには喜ばれるでしょう。
アルコールは２杯までただのチケットが配られ、ビールやシャンパンが飲めます。ジャンクフードとチキンの照り焼き風が出ましたが、カクテルクルーズなので料理は期待しないでください。
良いサンセットにあたるとサイコーでしょう！！

We bought tickets from the site in Australia and thought we were getting a "Sunset/fireworks cruise" however when we got there we were on a moonlight cruise. (Which is the one we wanted. I think your site needs to clarify the differnece in the two tours a bit better. The sunset cruise went out at 5.00 and the one we were on was 6.30. Having said that we were placed on the right one as we wanted to see the fireworks which were fantasic.
The staff were amazing and we had a very memorable time. I would highly recommend this activity to all but just get clarification as to what cruise you actually want to be on.

I attended on October 30th, and the weather was great that day, making me feel very rich.

I had my first sailing experience in Hawaii this time! At first, I was a bit anxious because everyone on board, except for us, was a foreigner, but once we set sail, it didn't matter at all. The breeze felt amazing, and we even got to see a sea turtle along the way! Drinking a beer on the catamaran was exceptional. Next time I go to Hawaii, I definitely want to participate in a sunset sailing.

今回ハワイで人生初のセーリング体験をしました！初めはクルーも乗船客も私たち以外みんな外人で不安でしたが、いざ出航したらそんなことはまったく関係なかったです。かぜが本当に気持ちよくて、途中海ガメも見ることができました！カタマランの上で飲むビールは格別です。またハワイに行く際は、ぜひサンセットセーリングに参加してみたいです。
