Our guides were awesome and even remembered our names although It was a group of 6... Only wish is that it was a little later so that we could have gotten a darker sky with more colors!!

My first skydiving experience! It was a cloudy day, and I was anxious about the long wait and whether I would actually get to jump, but somehow I was able to take the plunge about two and a half hours after arriving. I was extremely nervous leading up to the jump, but once I was in the air, it felt amazing and was over in no time. It was so much fun! There were a lot of handsome instructors, which was a nice bonus (laughs).

This is a horseback riding club located near Kaena Point on the North Shore. There were six participants, and everyone seemed to be a beginner. Two staff members accompanied us, and the horses were well-trained, which made us feel safe.

We were able to ride along the beautiful North Shore coastline and had a wonderful time.

Skydiving was an incredible experience! I think it will be an unforgettable moment in my life. The instructor was very kind, and from the pickup at 5:20 AM to arriving back at the hotel around 9:30 AM, there was almost no waiting time for skydiving, which made it very efficient.
However, I have one complaint. The fee for my wife, who accompanied me as a spectator, was about 5,400 yen, which I think is too high. If they are going to charge that much, I believe they should at least include drinks or light snacks, but there was absolutely no service provided.
If they enhance the services for accompanying guests, I think it could become an even better shop. Overall, though, I received satisfactory service, so I definitely recommend that those who are hesitant give it a try!

スカイダイビングは最高の気分を味わえました！人生で忘れられない経験になると思います。インストラクターも親切に対応してくれたし、朝5時20分の迎えから、終わってホテルに着いたのが9時30分頃でスカイダイビングの待ち時間もほとんど無く、スピーディーでした。

I’m not good at English at all, but I thought I could manage by watching the people around me, so I gave it a try. Everyone except me was a foreigner, and the explanations were all in English.

At one point, I was told to grab the red cord when I reached the goal. If I didn’t, I would be pulled back like in bungee jumping and wouldn’t be able to return. The instructor worked hard to help me, but I ended up in tears… However, it was so much fun that I want to do it again!

英語全くダメなんですが、周りの人達見てたらなんとかなるだろうと挑戦。私以外、みんな外人の方で説明も英語。
途中で、言われますがゴールする時赤い紐を掴んで下さい。バンジーの様に戻され戻れなくなります。インスタラクターの方が一緒懸命戻してくれましたが、涙目になりました…でも、またやりたいと思うぐらい楽しかったです！

I'm someone who can hardly ride thrill rides, but I decided to try skydiving, thinking it might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The moment I jumped out of the plane was terrifying! However, when I opened my eyes, I saw beautiful ocean, sky, and mountains! I forgot my fear and enjoyed the scenery, thinking I had to remember it all.

Since I was on my honeymoon, it was quite expensive, but I purchased both photos and videos! Afterward, we checked the images and laughed at each other's pictures (laughs). I'm glad we made such fun memories!

I recommend bringing a long-sleeve shirt! It was hot when we were falling because the sun was so close, but it felt cold up in the air even with long sleeves.

絶叫系のアトラクションにほぼ乗れない私ですが、一生に一回しか出来ないかもしれないと思いスカイダイビングに挑戦しました。
飛行機から落ちてすぐまでは怖い！しかなかったですが目を開けてみたら綺麗な海！空！山！目に焼き付けないとと怖さも忘れて景色を楽しめました。
ハネムーンで行っていたので結構高かったですが、写真とビデオ両方購入しました！終わってから画像チェックをしてお互いの写真を見て大笑い（笑）楽しい思い出が出来てよかったです！
長袖を持って行くことをオススメします！落ちている時は太陽が近くて暑いですが、上空は長袖でも寒く感じました。

We were picked up at our hotel in Hawaii at 5:30 AM! From there, it took about an hour to get to the North Shore, where we switched to a boat and listened to an explanation. Since there was no Japanese guide, I could only catch bits and pieces. They lent us goggles, and we entered the cage to be among the sharks. The sharks were quite calm and swam around us leisurely. They seemed to be fed regularly, so they were pretty docile. But still, they were sharks!! It was quite impressive! I had an incident where the goggles didn't fit well, and seawater got into my nose, causing a nosebleed, but overall, I think I enjoyed it! If you're prone to seasickness, I recommend being prepared. I think this is an experience you can only have in Hawaii, so definitely consider joining the tour!

This time, I participated with my 61-year-old mother and 33-year-old daughter (myself). The activity is a meet-up at the location, but it's far from Waikiki, so if you don't have a rental car, you'll need to take a taxi or find another way to get there. I drove the rental car for about 50 minutes, as there was some traffic along the way. The road at the end is an unpaved gravel road, and since there are no signs along the way, it can be a bit unsettling.

As for the horseback riding, at our 9 AM reservation, there were five other customers (two groups of two and one group of one) besides us, but those five formed one group, while we were in a separate group with one instructor for the two of us. The five-person group had a photographer with them who took pictures while they moved (we did not have a photographer).

All the explanations were in English, but they taught the basic movements with gestures, so even if you don't speak English, you'll manage. Also, during the actual horseback riding, the horses are smart, so even if you don't perform the instructed movements, the horses will keep moving along, so you'll be fine as long as you're on the horse.

It's a one-hour course, and we were able to enjoy Hawaii's nature by going through the forest and to places where we could see the ocean. If I had to wish for something, I think it would have been even more fun if the horses had a bit more speed, but overall, I was satisfied with the experience.

肝心の乗馬ですが、私達が予約した9時にはお客さんが私達以外に5人(2人、2人、1人のグループ)いましたが、その5人で1グループ、私達は2人にインストラクターが1人つく別グループでした。5人グループの方には、カメラマンがついていて写真を撮りながらの移動のようでした(私達の方にはカメラマンはいませんでした)。

説明は全て英語でしたが、ジェスチャーを交えて基本の動きを教えてくれるので、英語ができなくてもなんとかなります。また、実際の乗馬中は馬が賢いので、教えてもらった動作をしなくても馬がどんどん進んでくれますので、馬に乗っていれば大丈夫です。

1時間のコースですが、森の中や海が見える場所に行ったりと、ハワイの自然を満喫する事ができました。
欲を言えば、馬のスピードがもう少しあるとより楽しかったかなと思いますが、総合評価は満足でした。

I had wanted to try this for a long time, and this was my first time participating! Our group met at 8:30 AM, and we started at 9. We drove there with a rental car. After arriving, we managed to check the consent form at the check-in monitor, put our wallets in the safe box for valuables, checked our bags at the luggage counter, and took care of the restroom. I hung my phone around my neck because I wanted to take pictures. Then, we were fitted with harnesses for sliding, put on helmets, and waited for the time to start. There were seven participants, including us, all from the mainland United States, along with three staff members. The staff were all friendly and attentive, checking in on us even though we didn't speak English, using gestures and confirming our understanding, which made us feel at ease during the experience! We practiced on a short course first, and then moved on to the next location by jeep. During the ride, they talked about various plants on the farm. We slid down seven courses, changing our positions and eating bananas and tomatoes along the way! It felt amazing! When they asked if it was good in Japanese, I replied, "イイネ!" (Good!). I was worried because I’m a bit overweight and not very fit besides my lack of English, but there was a course where we had to climb with a rope, and even though it was a short distance, I felt exhausted and thought, "I can't do this!" When I called out for help, they laughed and came to assist me! It was so much fun! I bought a T-shirt and a few photos, and received the photos via email by lunchtime! The price was a bit high, but the pictures turned out great! I want to do it again!

Not only I thoroughly enjoyed the sea and shopping this time, but also slightly different things wanted to do it and applied to this tour. I had not ridden a horse in Japan either and was the first experience of the throb.
When run on the shoreline of the north shore, and arrive; the place that is full of green far apart from the noise of Waikiki. There are not only the horse but also a chicken and the peacock.
A horse and the first meeting to be taken care of after arrival this time. Our fellow is Keahi and Ruby. I have gentle eyes having the rich mane. I have you teach how to get on at once and am a walk start. A guide walks the top and arrives in the next. I can take in the muscle of the horse whenever I step forward, and one step is very powerful. We stretch out the back not to break preparations and add it and the pace of the horse. The scenery from the horse is high and feels the comfortable wind. I might stop on the way, but walk the way with the pitch difference easily. I took a photograph at the good place of the scene. It was the experience that I could taste beautiful air and scenery in instant one hour, and was valuable.
A guide could tell neighboring restaurants and the recommended beach and was very kind. I want to recommend it to all of you by all means.

It was an experience from another dimension. When I was looking up from below, I could see the particles jumping out of the Cessna, and eventually, the parachutes opened, gliding gracefully through the air and landing smoothly. Young people (including girls) were shouting, "This is the best!" I thought that was how it would be, but when I took off in the Cessna and reached the height of the clouds, I thought that was it, only to rise even higher. It was no joke; the island became smaller, and it felt like I was about to jump into the sea.

The moment I began to jump, it was an experience that transcended life and death, a dimension beyond. In just a few seconds, I experienced an exhilarating arching of my body, raising my hands, feeling like I was getting an air massage. I signaled to the instructor that I was feeling great with an "Aloha" gesture. The intensity of free fall was incredible (it felt like several minutes), and when the parachute opened, there was a jolt to my body. After that, the instructor spun us around, showing us the magnificent scenery.

When we landed, I shook hands with the instructor, expressing my gratitude for such a wonderful experience, saying "Very good." Thank you. I was truly moved.

On Saturday, October 8, 2016, my daughter and I challenged ourselves to horseback riding at Gunstock Ranch. We took the number 55 bus from the Ala Moana bus stop, heading straight to Gunstock Ranch.

The number 55 bus, which connects Ala Moana and Haleiwa on the North Shore, runs along the east coast of Oahu via downtown, allowing us to enjoy beautiful views of Kaneohe Bay and local beaches from the bus window.

Upon arrival, we signed a waiver given to us by a female staff member, stored our belongings, and got ready for horseback riding. We set off in a line of six, led by a handsome cowboy. It was smaller and less crowded than Kualoa Ranch.

The spacious ranch, blue sky, white clouds, and the deep blue sea stretching below— the scenery from horseback was breathtakingly beautiful! Since it was my first time riding, I was a bit scared at first, but I quickly got used to it and enjoyed the beautiful views and interaction with the animals.

For those with horseback riding experience, it might feel a bit lacking, but since the pace is leisurely, I think it’s just right for first-timers.

2016年10月8日土曜日、gunstockranchで娘と二人で、乗馬にチャレンジしました。アラモアナのバス停から55番バスに乗り、一路gunstock ranchへ。
アラモアナとノースショアのハレイワを結ぶ55番バスは、ダウンタウンを経由してオアフ島の東海岸沿いを走り、車窓からは美しいカネオヘ湾やローカルビーチの絶景を楽しむことができました。
到着すると女性スタッフに渡された誓約書にサインし、荷物を預けていざ乗馬。イケメンのカウボーイを先頭に6人の隊列で出発。クアロアランチよりもこじんまりとしていて、参加する人も少数でした。
広々とした牧場、青い空、白い雲、眼下に広がる紺碧の海ー。馬上から見る景色はこの世のものとは思えない美しさでした！初めての乗馬だったので、乗る時は少し怖かったのですが、すぐに慣れ、美しい景色と動物との触れ合いを楽しみました。
乗馬経験のある人には少し物足りないのかもしれませんが、のんびりと進んでいくので、初体験の方々にはちょうどいい内容なのではないかと思います。

It was my first skydiving experience. There were explanations and consent forms in Japanese, so I had no anxiety at all. The tandem crew member was a cheerful and handsome guy. He eased my pre-jump jitters, but still provided thorough explanations and preparations, so I wasn't scared.

We ascended in a Cessna above the clouds, and the view of the beaches in Hawaii from there was amazing. Since the tandem instructor jumps with you, there’s no chance of being too scared to jump, and before I knew it, I was falling through the sky. There’s a shuttle service from the hotel in Waikiki, which makes it very convenient. We gathered at the hotel at 10:05, and it took about an hour by car to get to the airfield near the beaches on the north side of Hawaii. I stored all my belongings in a $1 locker (four quarters; there’s a change machine), and the waiting time was about 30 minutes. After getting on the Cessna, we jumped down in about 30 minutes, and then waited about 30 minutes to an hour for the bus to depart. I returned to the hotel around 14:30 to 15:00.

For tips, I gave the shuttle driver $10 each way per person. For the tandem crew member, I wrote my name and put the tip in a bag to drop in the box, which was over $20.

ワイキキのホテルから送迎があるのでとてもラクチンです。
10:05ホテルに集合して、ハワイ北側のビーチ近くの飛行場まで、車で1時間くらいです。
1ドルロッカー(クオーターコイン×4。両替機あり)に荷物を全て預けて、待ち時間30分くらいでした。
セスナ機乗ってから30分で降りて来てバス発車まで30分〜1時間くらい待ち、ホテルに戻ったのは大体14:30〜15:00くらいでした。

チップは送迎の運転手に往復1人10ドルずつ。
タンデムクルーのお兄さんには名前を書いて袋にチップを入れてポストに入れます。20ドル以上。

全部でチップいれて200ドルで、この体験はコスパ最高です！また次にハワイ行くときも必ずやりたいと思ってます。オススメです。

ちなみに無料特典のwifiルーターは接続はあまり良くなかったです。無料なので仕方ないです。
日本で有料のwifi借りて、友人と割り勘して使いました。

Skydiving was something I had always wanted to try, and being able to do it in Hawaii felt like a dream! However, the wait time was a bit long, so I dozed off while waiting. When my name was called, there was a briefing about the position in the air, and I boarded a small plane with an enthusiastic instructor. I had to straddle something like a long bench and take off backward, which made me a little nervous thinking about falling! I didn't feel scared at all while on the ground, but when it was finally my turn, I felt a fear I had never experienced before in the few seconds before taking off. Horseback riding can be enjoyed all over the world, and I make sure to experience it wherever I travel. While most clubs typically offer just a basic riding experience, this one responded to our requests and allowed us to canter.

We chose the standard 60-minute course with our guide and the two of us, making a total of three people. At one point, my husband, who has only ridden three times, expressed his desire to try running a bit! The guide happily agreed and took us cantering through the hilly forest right away. After that, we cantered in a wide highland, enjoying an incredible riding experience that you can't find at other tourist riding clubs.

Since we cantered, we ended up with some extra time, so they took a longer route back, and the scenery along the way was absolutely stunning.

Not only was I thrilled that we could canter, but I was also impressed by how incredibly well-trained the horses were. I think many horses at riding clubs often disregard their riders, but the horses here were very responsive! With just a light touch of my legs, they would transition from a walk to a canter!

If you go to Hawaii, you definitely should stop by this place! The donkey was also super cute! The girl who took photos for us captured wonderful pictures, so I think it's a great idea to buy some as souvenirs!

ガイドさんと私達２名、計３名で通常の６０分コースを選択。
途中、３度しか乗馬経験のない主人が少し走ってみたい！とリクエストしたところ、ガイドの女の子は清くＯＫしてくれ起伏のある森の中をすぐに駈足してくれました。
その後も広い高原に出て駈足をしたり、他の観光乗馬クラブでは体験出来ないような素晴らしい乗馬をさせて頂きました。

駈足をしたせいで時間が余ってしまったということで、遠回りをして帰ってくれたのですがその途中の景色がとても素晴らしかったです。

今回駈足ができたこともさることながら、馬が驚くほど素晴らしく調教されていることに感動しました。どこの乗馬クラブの馬も大抵乗り役を馬鹿にして反応しないことが多いと思いますが、こちらのお馬さんはとっっっても反応が良いです！！足が触れるくらいの扶助で並足→駈足が出ます！

ハワイに行ったら絶対立ち寄って欲しいです♪
