I participated in skydiving because my 68-year-old mother said she wanted to try it. Although I was hesitant, I decided to join in on this opportunity.

Upon arriving at the site, I received a brief lecture from my partner, Brian, also known as "B2." The cameraman, who seemed a bit unkempt and overly accustomed to his work, kept saying "big smile," which raised my spirits, but my anxiety was steadily increasing.

As we ascended to 4,000 meters in the Cessna, the beauty of the scenery was undeniable, but my face was tense. However, Brian and the other instructors made an effort to relax me and kept me laughing.

When we jumped, I didn't have the luxury to pose for Instagram during the free fall. But once the parachute opened, I let out a sigh of relief. Brian pointed out that was the North Shore and said how beautiful it was, and he let me pull the parachute cords to turn right (which was also a bit scary). He was singing, and I could really feel his love for flying. I kept thinking, "Wow, the ocean and mountains are so beautiful!" while screaming in excitement.

After landing, he seemed to understand that I was nervous and hugged me, saying "Good job!"

I was overwhelmed with emotion and hugged him back! That was the moment I trusted him.

My memories of Hawaii are dominated by this shocking and exciting skydiving experience. My mother seemed to enjoy the free fall as well.

I thought the video recording was a bit pricey, but I can't help but laugh every time I watch it. It’s incredibly high, but the video helps me remember so many things.

Skydiving was extremely scary, but I want to go back to Hawaii, and I want to jump with Brian again! I can forget about Japanese society! Just being in Hawaii makes all my frustrations disappear. That thrill is something you can't experience in everyday life. It's not an exaggeration to say that I’ve come to love Hawaii because of this.

For those who are not good with thrills, it might be tough, but for anyone looking to break free from something, I highly recommend it.

Brian is playful and crazy, but the other instructors said that means he’s an excellent instructor, so I recommend him! He will definitely make it a fun experience!

現地に着いて、パートナーとなる"B2"ことBrianに簡単なレクチャーを受ける。
撮影用にカメラマン(若干清潔感無いというか繰り返しのworkに慣れすぎ？)がビッグスマーイルとか言ってくるから、テンション上げてたけどビビり指数は着々と上がっていた。

セスナに乗って上空4000メートルに上昇するほど、景色の美しさは確かなんだけど顔が強張ってくる私。
けどそんな私をBrianしかりほかのインストラクターも私をリラックスさせようと笑わせて、気遣ってくれた。

飛び降りて、フリーフォール中インスタ映えする表情する余裕はなかった。笑

けど、パラシュートが開いてほっと一息。
Brianはあれがノースショアだよ、めちゃくちゃ美しいとか話してくれたり、
パラシュートの紐を引っ張らせてくれて右に旋回させてくれたり(それも絶叫系で怖かった)
彼は歌を歌ってた。彼はほんとに飛ぶことを愛してるんだなと感じた。
私はあーすごい、海も山もあー綺麗だーって思っては絶叫の繰り返しではあったけど。

着地してからは、私がビビってたことをわかってたみたいで、私にグッジョブ！とハグしてくれた。

緊張の糸が切れた私も感極まってハグ！私が彼を信頼した瞬間だった。

ハワイの思い出はスカイダイビングしかないというくらいショッキングでエキサイティングな経験でした。
当の母は、フリーフォール中も楽しんでいたようです。

動画撮影はたけーなーって思ったけれど、何度見ても笑えます。
すんごく高いけど、動画だといろんなこと思い出せていいです。

スカイダイビングはめちゃくちゃ怖かったけど、またハワイ行きたい、すぐ行きたい！
Brianとまた飛びたいって思ってしまいました！
日本社会のこと忘れられます！笑
ハワイに滞在してるだけでイライラとか無くなってしまうけど。
あのスリルは日常では味わえない。
これでハワイのこと好きになったと言っても過言ではない。

Diving was a fun and wonderful experience thanks to the instructor, but the guide who was nearly 80 years old was completely unclear in their explanations and didn't listen to anyone, which left everyone in a difficult situation. I wanted a photographer, but that request didn't get through, and since we could only dive once, it was very disappointing not to have a photographer. My reserved day was canceled due to rain, but I was able to quickly change my reservation to the next day and participated then. The shuttle service was on time, and I could schedule my afternoon plans. On the way, I filled out a consent form and watched a video. After arriving, I received an explanation and decided whether to order photos and videos. Since I had some time before my jump, I enjoyed a hot chocolate (snacks and drinks were sold from a wagon). I finally got to dive, which has been my long-awaited dream. I was really looking forward to it since my last attempt was canceled due to bad weather. The staff were very kind and friendly.

At 4,000 meters above ground, it was higher than I imagined, and I thought, "Am I really going to jump from here?" But I just let myself go. Before I knew it, I was jumping.

I saw in the comments that Japanese was understood, but the bus driver and those explaining at the facility did not speak Japanese.

We participated as a group of three, and my instructor explained some things in Japanese, but the other two did not understand it at all. However, we were able to confirm the poses for descent and landing by watching a movie on the bus, so it seemed there were no issues.

It was my first time skydiving, and it felt great with beautiful scenery; I’m glad I experienced it. I didn’t feel the floating sensation at all. It was a bit hard to breathe before the parachute opened, but there was no prior explanation from the instructor on how to handle this. There was a brief explanation in the video we watched along the way, so I recommend paying close attention to it.

Also, I don’t think it was mentioned on the website, but photography with a cameraman was about $120, and with the instructor's handheld camera, it was about $80. I forgot to ask about video recording. Since I was busy having fun every day, I didn’t muster the courage to ask, but after seeing that scenery, I regret not doing so. It seems to be more expensive in Japan.

Others were filming videos, and they looked like they were having a lot of fun!

連日遊んでいたので怯んでお願いしませんでしたが、あの景色を見た後ではお願いすれば良かったと後悔しています。それに、日本ではもっと高いようです。
他の方がビデオを撮っていましたが、とても楽しそうでした！

インストラクターは個人差があるように思います。私のインストラクターは丁寧で、向こうに見えるのは◯◯だよ、などと教えてくれ、色々と気遣いを感じました。友人はノリが良い方で、バックフリップ？をしたり、くるくるしたりと楽しんだそうです。もう1人は愛想が良くなくフライト中はずっと音楽を聴いて貧乏ゆすり、降下中も2回ほどしか会話がなかったそうです。スカイダイビング自体はとても楽しんでいました。

色々と記載しましたがとても良い経験となったのでオススメです。また、敷地内に出店していたワゴンで販売しているイングリッシュマフィンが非常に美味しかったのでこちらもオススメです。是非！

We were picked up at 4:50 AM. While watching a video, we went through the documents and filled them out!
The driving was rough, and I got car sick before we arrived! I didn't want to say this since the instructor was older, but I think others felt the same way; despite the cold, we were told to take off our clothes and jump, among other things. (The instructor said to wear clothes because it was cold.) We wore our clothes from the start since we were cold.
However, the skydiving was beautiful and became the best memory.
As a keepsake, the video and photos for the three of us cost around 70,000 yen!
I thought it would have been better to just get the video when I returned to Japan.

動画だけで良かったと日本に戻り思いました。

Awesome trip

Really fun riding the military truck and the hike was awesome. Little challenging for people who aren’t used to hiking. This hike is different because it is full of muds and slippery areas. Also you have to cross the 4 streams. Super fun but not recommended for families with kids.

My first time in Hawaii! My first time skydiving! I was picked up while it was still dark in the morning, and when we arrived at the location, the sky was filled with stars, and I was amazed to see a shooting star. As it got brighter, we prepared to jump, and with my heart racing, we went up into the sky. There was no time to think about being scared, and then it was 3, 2, 1, go! The sunrise, the ocean, the sea of clouds—it was breathtaking. Before I knew it, we were back on the ground... I thought I might feel like a bird, but I didn't have that luxury (laughs). I definitely want to jump again!

This time, I participated with my son to celebrate his coming of age. It was originally scheduled for December 26, but due to bad weather, it was canceled. Hawaii has many beautiful views. However, looking at Oahu from 14,000 feet is on another level.

The sensation isn't so much falling as it is floating in the air. And you'll experience winds of 200 km/h. Your mouth will get incredibly dry, and it will be hard to breathe. But it's such a funny experience that you'll end up laughing.

- Shuttle Service: No issues. The waiver you fill out in the car is available in Japanese.
- Explanation: No issues. It's a bit of luck if you encounter someone who speaks Japanese.
- Pricing: Honestly, it's quite cheap for such a wonderful experience.
- Other: I highly recommend adding video recording. You can later caption it for photos as well.

After arriving on-site, my schedule was rearranged through Veltra due to bad weather. The response was a bit slow due to the time difference, but it was polite and wonderful. It was my first time skydiving in my life! The moment I jumped was scary, but it quickly turned into a refreshing feeling, and the view was great—it was an amazing experience! The instructor only spoke simple Japanese. However, the person who could speak a bit more was very thorough in their teaching, which made me feel at ease! I would love to participate again if I have the chance! It was the best experience!

The Polynesian Cultural Centre consists of the villages of the various people from the surrounding islands of Polynesia. Each village had a presentation which gave an insight into their culture - family and community mindedness. One of the highlights was how to make fire by "rubbing together 2 sticks of wood". There is a lot to see and do so you may not have enough time to see all of the villages. The Luau was great - food, show, drinks (no alcohol though) however we were allocated the 4pm time slot (I suspect the more expensive packages allow you to eat later). Afterwards, the night show was spectacular. Unfortunately, we chose a day where the heavens opened up and continued to rain for the whole time. On a "feel good" note, the centre was set up to employ students from the surrounding Polynesian islands so the money raised helps them fund their education.

It was the best horseback riding experience. The explanations in English were very easy to understand, even for my 12-year-old and 8-year-old children. The people who accompanied us were fun and great! The horseback riding lasted a full hour along the coast, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the clarity of the water in Haleiwa. The location was also easy to get to. The sign is quite simple, so you might wonder if it's the right place, but I think it has a nice Hawaiian feel to it. I believe it would be easy to find with a navigation system.

最高の乗馬体験でした。英語での説明ですが非常に分かりやすく教えて頂き、12歳と8歳の子供達でも分かる内容でした。
一緒に回ってくれる方も楽しい人達で最高！
乗馬はかなり長めの1時間で海岸沿いを歩いて回りましたが、最高の景色でハレイワの海の綺麗さも堪能出来ました。
場所も簡単に行く事が出来ました。素朴な看板なので、ここかな？って思うぐらいですが、ハワイらしい感じで良いと思います。ナビがあれば簡単に行けると思います。

There were some challenging spots along the way, but there were water, bananas, tomatoes, and macadamia nuts available, which made for a nice break. When it suddenly started to rain, the raincoat I bought at ABC Mart was a lifesaver!

I took the bus number 55 from Ala Moana Shopping Center at 8:30 AM, and it took almost two hours. Since I wasn't sure where to get off, I asked the driver in advance to let me know when we arrived at Gunstock Ranch. I got off after the 56-160 on Kamehameha Highway. It was written on a utility pole at stop 46. Right after getting off the bus, there was a sign for Gunstock, so I didn't get lost.

What was frightening was how cold the bus was. Even with a long-sleeved jacket and a towel as a blanket, it was still chilly... Even though I knew it would be cold and prepared for it, I still needed to be cautious. There seem to be various horseback riding courses available, but since it was a place where no Japanese was spoken at all, I participated as a beginner. Next time, I would like to join a different course.

There were no other customers, just the two of us for a little over an hour, walking through the mountains. It was a unique experience that allowed us to feel the time and air that we can't experience in Japan. The sea breeze felt very nice, and it was enjoyable.

Lima, the new female staff member, was very polite and interacted with us, even though we didn't understand English well. Please feel the vastness of the 800 acres of land.

乗馬はいろいろなコースがあるみたいですが、全く日本語の通じない所なのでビギナーでの参加でしたが、次回は違うコースで参加したいと思います。
他にお客さんもなく、我々だけでの1時間ちょっと、山の中をお散歩
日本では味わえない、時間と空気を感じる事ができました。
sea wind がとても気持ちよく、楽しかったです。
リマはまだ新しく入った女性スタッフと言う事でしたが、丁寧に英語のわからない私たちに接してくれました。
800エイカーの広大な大地を感じて下さい。

We used this service for our honeymoon trip. We were picked up from the hotel at 5 AM and arrived at the location just after 6 AM. After receiving a brief explanation, we dove from an altitude of 14,000 feet, checking the weather first! It was the best experience I've ever had in my life. I heard that sometimes you have to wait depending on the weather, but fortunately, we were able to fly without waiting, so we could return to the hotel early and make the most of our afternoon.
