My first skydiving experience from 14,000 feet was truly one of a kind. However, the waiting time before the jump and for the return shuttle was excessively long and felt like a waste (they didn't provide any estimates), so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are impatient.

It was an early morning pickup, but when I got into the car, there were already many people there. During the ride, I signed some documents, and as soon as we arrived at the location, we watched a video that explained the precautions and tips before getting ready to jump!

They called our names in order, and we were fitted with various equipment, and off we went!!!

When we reached 4,000 meters, those who boarded the plane after me started jumping one after another, in the reverse order of boarding.

Next was my turn!! I was so nervous!! But before I could even feel scared, the instructor timed it perfectly, and we took off (laughs). That's how it goes, I guess^^;

The breathtaking view from the moment we took off was incredible!! Seeing it with my own eyes was completely different from seeing it in photos!!

But in an instant, the parachute opened, and we got to see various directions and even spun around a bit… I had a truly wonderful experience and I'm very satisfied.

I want to fly in the sky again someday!!

飛び立った瞬間から見える絶景に感動!!
写真で見るのと、自分の目で見るのとでは全然違いました!!

でも一瞬でパラシュートが開き、色んな方向を見せてくれたりクルクルと回って遊んでくれたり…
とても素晴らしい体験ができて満足しています。

またいつか空を飛びたいです!!

On the day of the event, we rented a car, so we opted out of the shuttle service. The meeting time was set for 9:00, so we arrived around 8:30, but the office was already open, and it seemed like the order of jumps was based on the order of check-in. Even though we arrived at 8:30, there were already many people there, and we ended up taking off around 9:30.

This was my second time skydiving, and it was just as amazing as the first. The view from the sky was incredibly beautiful, and I felt no fear at all when jumping from the plane. I was surprised when we passed through the clouds, as the temperature suddenly dropped. I had requested photos, so I flew facing the photographer a couple of times. The pictures turned out really well, and I wished I had done more poses (the instructor was doing various poses for us).

There was a box for tips, and after we finished, the instructor and photographer pointed out their respective boxes, so I left a tip there. The photos were ready in about ten minutes. After confirming them and making the payment, we finished up and left around 10:30 since we had a rental car. It seemed like the shuttle passengers had to wait for their bus back to Waikiki, so I think it's more efficient to go on your own if you can.

２度目のスカイダイビングだったのですが、やっぱり最高でした。空から見る景色はとてもきれくて、飛行機からとぶときも怖さは全くありませんでした。雲の中を通ったときだけいきなり気温が下がったのでびっくりしましたが・・・写真をお願いしていたので、２度ほどカメラマンを向き合った状態で飛んでいました。とてもよくとれていて、もっといろんなポーズをしておけばよかったと思いました。。。（インストラクターの方は色んなポーズをしてくれていたので）
チップを入れる箱がおいてあり、終わったあとにインストラクターとカメラマンが自分の箱を教えてくれたので、そこにチップを入れておきました。
写真は１０分ほどですぐにできました。それを確認して、代金を支払い、私たちはレンタカーだったので10：30頃には終了して出発しました。ワイキキに戻るバスの時間は決まっているようで、送迎付きの人はまだ待っていました。行くなら自分たちで行くほうが時間を有効に使えると思います。

This is a tour that you can only experience here!! The location is on the North Shore, so it’s a bit far, but I definitely recommend participating. It’s very safe and you can join with peace of mind.

I signed up for the tour without transportation and met at the location because I had a rental car to enjoy the North Shore afterward. Since you can only get to the North Shore by car, I recommend going with a rental car.

The location is at the port next to Alii Beach, where there is a sign. There’s no one around, and it can be a bit difficult to find, so I recommend arriving early.

You will travel to a cage anchored offshore on a mysterious boat called "Dangerous Boat." About eight people will enter the cage.

You can see sharks from the boat, but once you’re in the cage, several sharks measuring 3 to 5 meters swim around you. When you throw food from the boat, you can see their fierce side, which is very exciting. It lasts about 20 minutes, but it was a lot of fun.

However, please note that Japanese is not spoken. After getting off the boat, there are showers at the nearby Alii Beach, so it’s better to park your rental car at Alii Beach! If you plan to go to the North Shore, I highly recommend it.

私は、送迎なしの現地集合で申し込みました。それは終わったあとはノースショアを楽しむ為、レンタカーを用意していたからです。ノースショアは車でないと行けないのでレンタカーで行かれたほがお勧めです。

場所は。アリイビーチの隣の港で看板が立っています。誰もいませんし、ちょっとわかりにくいので早めに行かれることをお勧めします。

”危ない号”という不思議な船で沖合に係留してあるケージまで移動します。
大体８人くらいでケージに入ります。

船の上からでもシャークの姿が見えますが、ケージの中に入ると目の前を３～５mのシャークが数匹ケージの周りを泳いでいます。船の上から餌を投入すると獰猛な一面が見れて大興奮します。２０分程度で終わりますがとても楽しかったです。

但し、日本語が通じませんのでご注意ください。船から上がったらシャワーは隣のアリイビーチにありますので、レンタカーはアリイビーチに停めたほうがいいでしょう！ノースショアに行く予定があれば是非お勧めします。

I went skydiving for the first time 15 years ago, and this was my second time, but it was still amazing. There's a saying that your heart feels like it's going to come out of your mouth, but it's even more than that (laughs). My family and I had a wonderful horseback riding experience. We have been on many trail rides and this was by far the best. The horses were not your everyday trail horse, they were healthy and well taken care of. The staff was very personable and professional. I made a reservation on the site for 9:00 and checked in around 8:45, but I actually flew around 13:00. For some reason, I was marked as having flown around 12:00, and I was skipped in line, with people who arrived later flying before me. Is there really any point to making a reservation?

The skydiving itself was fun. However, both my wife and I were quite fed up with the long wait times. Our feelings changed from anxiety to anger, then to resignation and indifference, and we wasted half of our precious vacation.

The only Japanese staff member that day was unprofessional and didn’t use polite language. The female staff member at the reception didn’t show a single smile. Even when I tried to communicate my concerns, she responded with gestures that indicated she didn’t care.

While there may be people who simply say, "I had fun!" I think there is a lot of inconsistency in that. There are certainly personalities among the many instructors that may or may not match, but the reservation system and the unpleasantness of the reception staff were honestly terrible.

You never know what might happen on the day, and since there isn’t always a Japanese staff member present, I think you need a certain level of English proficiency to voice complaints and the mental strength to endure the rude staff and long wait times.

その日の唯一の日本人スタッフは、敬語も使わない雑な対応。受付の女性スタッフは笑顔一つ見せない。言いたいことを伝えようとしても、「関係ない」というようなジェスチャーで取り合おうともしない。


おそらくは、単純に「楽しめた！」って言う人もいるんでしょうが、そこにはムラが多いと思います。大勢いるインストラクターの個性には合う合わないがあるにせよ、予約のシステムや受付スタッフの感じの悪さは、正直ひどい。

当日何があるかわからないし、日本人スタッフも常にいるとは限らないので、文句を言えるくらいの英語力と、雑なスタッフと長い待ち時間に耐えられる精神力は必要だと思います。

For the first time in my life, I flew in the sky. The feeling of fear lasts only for a brief moment as you drop. After that, the altitude is so high that you hardly feel like you're falling. The pressure of the wind from below made it hard to breathe, and I was desperately gasping with my mouth wide open. Also, at such a high altitude, I was able to see a round rainbow in the air. It was surprising! At one point, the instructor spun around in the air, but I got dizzy... People who are prone to motion sickness should be careful. Make sure to be in good condition before attempting this. Don't do it like I did, challenging it the day after arriving! (laughs) But it was incredibly fun. I definitely want to come back again.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit and horseback riding experience at the Gunstock Ranch. We did not want to go to a heavily commercialized facility for horseback riding. There were a lot of animals at the ranch and the scenery was beautiful. The ride trail was nice and rustic which we wanted in our experience. The guide provided us great instruction and information about the ranch, the area and plants along the trail.
Our only improvement suggestions are for the restroom facility's cleaning cycle, grading and packing the access road and a more legible road sign.

Skydiving was the main event of my trip to Hawaii. It turned out to be an amazing memory, just as I had hoped! Despite being cheaper than in Japan, I was thrilled to jump in such a wonderful location. I thought I would be scared when jumping, but before I could hesitate, I leaped right off. Thanks to my reliable instructor, I was able to jump with a smile. While taking in the blue sky and ocean, I experienced a rapid descent at first, and then after the parachute opened, I glided gently through the air, which felt fantastic. It was a unique experience that has become an unforgettable memory for a lifetime!

Got a wee bit sea sick, so do recomend that people that suffer from sea sick to take some pills the night/morning before doing it, but it was well worth feeling a little sick as it was such a awesome experience!!

Before flying, I had to sign a lot of contracts, which made me a bit anxious, but I'm glad I went!

It was hard to breathe until the parachute opened, but after that, it felt amazing and was the best experience!

It was quite cold up in the air, so wearing thin long sleeves and long pants might be a good idea☆

When you jump, there's no time to hesitate; it felt like I was gently floating down with the flow.

If you order photos and a DVD, you can check them in the room where the safety video is played at the beginning.

The person I jumped with only ordered photos, but the cameraman had both cameras mounted on his head, and it seemed like they were filming the DVD at the same time. After seeing that footage, they ended up wanting both and purchased them.

Tips are given to the instructor, the cameraman, and the shuttle bus driver separately.

飛ぶ前に契約書にたくさんサインしないといけなくて、それがちょっと不安な気持ちにさせるけど、飛んでよかった！

パラシュート開くまでは息が苦しかったけど、そのあとはすごく気持ちよくて最高でした！！

上空はかなり寒かったので、薄手の長袖・長ズボンがいいかも☆

飛ぶときはためらう暇もなく、ふわっと流れのまま落ちる感じでした。

写真とＤＶＤを頼んだら、最初に注意事項のビデオを見た部屋で流されるのでﾁｪｯｸできます。

一緒に飛んだ人は写真だけの申込みだったけどカメラマンの頭の上には両方のカメラが付いていて、同時にＤＶＤの撮影もしてあったので、その映像を見てほしくなったみたいで結局両方購入してました。

チップは、インストラクター、カメラマン、送迎バスの運転手それぞれに払います。

I have been here before, so this was my second visit. Just as amazing as the first time I was there. The students who run the programs are so friendly and knowledgeable. The day is very busy, but so much fun. Definitely worth having the tour guide. The center is kept spotless and all of the shows are enjoyable. The best place to visit to learn about the culture you are visiting. Would visit here every time I am on the island. Great trip! Luau is fun and upbeat. The night show is the best!

I participated with eight male friends. Regarding the pickup, we came from far away, and the driver picked up other participants in order, but we were picked up about 20 minutes late. I was a bit anxious, but I was able to spot the car right away because it had a shark design on it.

Once we got in the car and arrived at the location, there were about 20 participants, including some foreigners, and we boarded the boat to head out to sea. It was quite exhilarating as we sped along, with water splashing like a waterfall, which felt amazing!

When we reached the dive point, we connected the cage to the boat and dived in groups of six. About half of the cage was covered in plastic, but the lower half remained open, which added to the thrill and made it a lot of fun! We got to get up close to a large school of sharks, and my excitement was at its peak! It was a truly valuable experience.

However, almost all the Japanese participants experienced seasickness, so taking motion sickness medication is a must.

This time, I was considering other companies as well, but I decided to go with this one because their pricing was lower. Although the guide was not Japanese, there were Japanese explanations provided on board, so I don't think there will be any issues. However, the driver only spoke English, so the car was filled with foreigners (everyone seemed to be having a good time chatting), and we spent our time enjoying the scenery outside.

When we arrived at the point, the boat stopped, and looking at the sharks from the boat made me feel seasick. During my participation, we entered the cage in three groups, so there was a high chance of feeling seasick before and after my turn. I didn't wear a swimsuit this time since I wasn't planning on going into the cage, but I found out that if I wanted to enter the cage on-site, I could do so for an additional fee, so I wish I had worn it. 今回、他社さんのほうでも検討していましたが、料金設定が安かったのでこちらでお願いしました。
日本人ガイドではないのですが、ちゃんとツアーは日本語の説明が書かれている物が船内にあって渡されたので、特に困らないと思います。
ただ・・・ドライバーさんも英語のみなので、車内は外人さんばかりでしたが（みんなで楽しそうに会話されていました）外の景色を見ながら車内は過ごしました。

ポイントに到着すると船を停止するので、船内からサメをみていると船酔いしますし、参加した時は3回にわけてゲージに入っていったので、自分の番の前後などに船酔いする可能性が大です。今回、ゲージに入るツアーにしていなかったので、水着を着用していかなかったのですが、現地でゲージに入りたければ＋支払いすればＯＫでしたので、着用していけばよかったと思いました。
船上からよりは、やはりこのツアーはせっかくなのでゲージにはいるべきだと思います！！
次回は・・・・と思いますが、船の停止時間を考えるともう1度参加するかは迷いますので、酔い止めは飲むべきですね。

This was a full day. Prepare to be exhausted by the end of it. BUT it was well worth it. We paid the extra to use our guide for the day (cousin Cissy) which for sure was the best plan since we would not have seen half of the exhibits and demonstrations that he took us to had we gone it alone. Well worth the extra expense. Cousin Cissy was the best guide - he was totally passionate for his culture and very knowledgeable. He genuinely cared that we saw the best of his people. A perfect day out which ended with an amazing show - a must to see. Our only compaint was the food - it was disappointing and bland. But plenty of it so we did not go hungry.

I've always wanted to try skydiving. Friends who experienced it in Saipan or Guam said it cost over 50,000 yen, but compared to that, this was very reasonable♪ The weather was great, and I did it in a short-sleeved shirt, but sneakers are definitely necessary. The wait time is a bit long.

ずっとやりたかったスカイダイビング。サイパンかグアムで体験した友達は５万以上かかったと言っていましたが、それに比べて大変リーズナブル♪天気も良く、半袖で体験しましたが、スニーカーは絶対必要ですね。待ち時間がちょっと長いです。
