Waikiki Dive Center delivered an exceptional diving experience. Let me begin this review by stating that I was genuinely terrified to scuba dive before this experience. I had no prior certification or training classes under my belt. As a complete beginner, I received comprehensive instruction alongside fellow novices in basic skills on dry land before embarking on the boat to the dive site. Moreover, the dive center provided an ample selection of equipment for trial, including fins and wet-suits of varying sizes.

Once everyone confirmed the fit of their gear, we were transported via a clean and well-maintained bus to the boat that would ferry us to the diving site. The boat itself was well-stocked with water and snacks. Upon reaching the dive site by boat, divers were organized into groups based on skill level. Each group, consisting of 1-4 divers, was accompanied by a seasoned instructor. Novices such as myself were able to practice our skills at the ocean's surface while fully geared up.

My group's instructor, Nick, displayed remarkable patience and a genuine concern for the safety of each diver, effectively assuaging my nervousness. He consistently ensured that each diver was doing well through hand signals and emphasized the importance of equalizing pressure to prevent discomfort or injury. Furthermore, although not directly assigned to my group, instructors Abby, Chad, and Yoshi were tremendously helpful and displayed an unwavering commitment to safety. The rules and regulations were clearly explained multiple times, ensuring that everyone was well-informed.

Since the dive "package" we opted for included two oxygen tanks per person, I used the first dive/tank as a warm-up, which significantly enhanced the enjoyment of the second dive. Additionally, I was thrilled to bring my Go-Pro along for the second dive, capturing breathtaking pictures.

Overall, I thoroughly relished this experience and wholeheartedly recommend it, particularly to beginners.

Starting with a welcome drink, I ordered a non-alcoholic strawberry frozen drink, and the lobster and filet steak were delicious. The Hawaiian dance welcomed us with Hawaiian music and dance before we boarded the ship, and they entertained us with a show right up until we disembarked. The service was excellent, and the waiter was kind enough to peel the lobster for us. The captain also spoke Japanese and was very friendly, making our conversation enjoyable. I had always wanted to go on a sunset cruise when visiting Hawaii, so I was glad to participate.

However, while enjoying the meal and the show, I didn't notice the sunset and missed out on enjoying it. Additionally, it was disappointing that the cruise price was relatively high due to the strong yen.

I participated in the sunset cruise. Unfortunately, the sunset didn't appear on the horizon, so I couldn't see it due to the timing. Since it was a Friday night cruise, I also enjoyed the Hilton fireworks (for about 5 minutes). During the cruise, we were entertained with singing and dancing. The buffet meal was also quite satisfying for us.

Points to note:
Regarding the boarding and disembarking location, it is near Aloha Tower, but there are almost no places to kill time in the vicinity. Additionally, it is not very popular until just before boarding time, and if you move a little away, there are hardly any restrooms (there are some at Aloha Tower, but if you go early, it feels deserted and a bit scary). In any case, it is not bustling like Kapiolani Park or Ala Moana Center; it is quite deserted. Also, there is an area nearby called Kalihi, which is known for its poor safety (it is said to be dangerous to go there by bus or on foot), so caution is needed to avoid accidentally stepping in.

(You can even see people acting erratically near Walmart around Aloha Tower.)

Disembarking around 9:00 PM when the surroundings are completely dark made searching for a bus feel dangerous. I ended up using a taxi, but I think it would be safer to arrange for a pickup in advance.

(アロハタワー周辺のウォルマート近辺でも発狂している人を目にするレベル。)

下船が夜の21：00ごろになり周囲も真っ暗な状態でバスを探すのは身の危険を感じました。私は結局タクシーを利用しましたが、あらかじめ送迎ありにするのが安全だと思います。

The experience was not very good considering the high price. Since it's a submarine, the windows are small and visibility is poor, so I couldn't see much. I didn't really feel like I was diving, but I did feel a bit nauseous. I was hoping to see sea turtles, but unfortunately, I didn't see any.

It was the perfect welcome activity for the family! The cruise was relaxing, the crew very friendly. It rained very briefly which was ok because it gave us a beautiful rainbow. We loved the magical sunset colours.

The pick up point was very accessible, right on Waikiki beach which is just walking distance from our hotel (and most hotels). Prepare to get your feet and/or legs wet when boarding and getting off but it was part of the experience! The price is also reasonable and allows you to bring drinks of your choice.

Would do it again if we’re back.

I went on a dinner cruise on Friday. Since I didn't specify a window seat, we ended up at a round table in the middle, seating three pairs of two. One pair was a Japanese newlywed couple, and the table next to us had three newlywed couples from Korea. I thought the lobster was smaller than I expected. The steak wasn't freshly cooked, which is understandable since we were on a boat, but it was tough. The dancing wasn't as lively as I had seen in the testimonials. However, they did do the YMCA, and it seemed like the newlyweds didn't quite know the song. The weather was nice, and the waves by the shore weren't too bad, but once we headed out to sea, raised the mast, and started sailing, the waves began to rise, and the thrilling experience of getting splashed was so much fun. We got quite wet, but by the time we returned to shore, we were completely dry. My husband and I talked about how if the price were a bit lower (it felt very much like Hawaii), we would be happy to go every time.

I chose this tour because the meeting place was close to my hotel and there weren't many options available at the last minute, but it turned out to be a great decision. I had a wonderful experience.

When we arrived at the snorkeling point by boat, we encountered a pod of dolphins! We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the boat.

Once in the water, I swam surrounded by schools of colorful fish of various sizes. (The staff threw food from the boat, so many fish gathered around.) After that, the staff guided us by swimming to the turtle point. We were able to see three turtles that day. They occasionally came up to the surface for air, allowing us to see them up close, which was incredibly exciting!

After the snorkeling time ended, we returned to the boat and sailed out to sea with the sails up, moving quite fast. I was fine, but those who are sensitive to motion might want to be cautious.

The website mentioned bringing a "photo ID," so I brought my passport, but it wasn't required. I didn't read it carefully, but it seems it was needed if you wanted to purchase alcohol on the boat. I misunderstood and thought it was required for the tour participation, so I would appreciate it if the wording could be changed.

After getting out of the water, it can be chilly with the sea breeze, so it's better to have a long-sleeved cover-up or a large towel. Also, there are no staff members who speak Japanese. その後、ホヌポイントまでスタッフが泳いで誘導してくれました。
この日は3匹のホヌに会えました。時おり水面まで息をしに上がってくるので本当に真横にホヌを見ることが出来、大感激！
スノーケリングタイムが終わった後は、ボートに戻り、沖合まで帆を上げてかなり飛ばしていきます。私は大丈夫でしたが、揺れに弱い人は要注意です。
WEBには持ち物に『写真付きのID』と書かれていたのでわざわざパスポートを持っていきましたが、提示は求められませんでした。よく読まなかったのがいけないですが、ボート上でお酒を購入したいときに必要ということだったようです。ツアー参加の際に掲示を求められると勘違いしてしまいましたので、書き方を変えていただけると嬉しいです。　
水から上がった後海風に吹かれて寒いので、長袖の羽織るものか大き目のバスタオルは有った方が良いです。あと、日本語話すスタッフはいません。海に入る前に注意事項を説明されるのでヒヤリング力は有った方が良いです。（身振り手振りの説明なので単語が聞き取れればなんとかなるかも）

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to the boarding!
First, we had a welcome drink (sparkling wine) and appetizers.
The appetizers included a salad on the table, and you could help yourself to fruits and cheese. The salad dressing was delicious!
