After completing the check-in and waiting under the designated beach umbrella, I suddenly noticed that the instructor had taken a seat behind me. Are you a ninja??? The instructor was Aiza, and of course, Japanese was okay.

We started with a 10-minute land lesson by the beach, and then it was time to hit the sea. Standing up was difficult, and just when I thought I finally managed to stand, I fell into the water. So salty!!

Unfortunately, there was no photographer at that moment, so this moment wasn’t captured.

After the photographer arrived, I took on the challenge again. I somehow managed to stand for 16 seconds (photo evidence). Amazing!! The photographer didn’t miss the chance to snap the shot. Truly a pro.

Next was stand-up paddleboarding. I realized again how stiff my body is. I wanted to ride the waves, but I couldn’t quite manage it. A few times, I felt like I was riding a little bit. It felt great being pushed forward by the waves. I guess surfers must love that feeling.

Before I knew it, an hour and a half had passed, and it was time to wrap up. It had been a while since I was at the sea, and stand-up paddleboarding was more challenging than I expected. I thought it would be even more fun once I could stand properly.

受付を済ませ指定されたビーチパラソルの下で待っていると、
いつの間にか、後ろの席にインストラクターが座っていました、あなたは忍者か？？？
インストラクターはアイザさんでした。勿論日本語ＯＫです。
ビーチサイドで10分の陸上レッスン、その後、いざ海へ。
立つのも難しい、やっと立ったと思ったら、海中へ、ドボン。しょっぱ～い！！
残念ながら、カメラマンが居なかったので、これは記録に残りませんでした。

カメラマン到着後、二度目の挑戦。なんとか16秒（写真判定）立てたぞ～い。
すごいぞ！！　 カメラマンも逃さずシャッターを切ってくれました。さすがプロ。

後はスタンドダウンパドルです。改めて身体の硬さに気付きました。
波に乗ろうと思いながら中々乗れません。数回、ちょとだけ乗れた気分に。
ググットと波に後から押されて進んでいく感じが良いです。
きっとサーファーはああ言う感じが好きなんだろうな。

あっという間に１時間半が過ぎ、終了です。
久しぶりの海で、思ったより難しいスタンドアップパドル、
しっかり立てる様になったらもっと楽しいんだろうな、何て思いました。

The food was poor. There were too few dishes, and despite taking too long from departure to the fireworks, the duration of the fireworks was too short.

料理の品数が少ないし、出港から花火迄の時間がかかりすぎのわりに花火の時間が少なすぎる

We were a bit anxious about what our first surfing experience would be like since we don't usually exercise and had no prior knowledge of surfing, but thanks to our instructor, the photographer, and the waves in Waikiki, it turned into a fun and wonderful memory.

Our instructor was a cheerful and polite person who spoke Japanese. For the first 10 minutes, we learned on the beach about safety precautions, where to position ourselves on the board, how to paddle, how to stand, and where to look. The following 50 minutes were spent surfing in the ocean. Once we made it out to the waves on our own, we adjusted our position based on the instructor's guidance, who chose the waves for us. I was able to stand on the board and ride about five waves, and within less than an hour, I could pose for the camera with an "Aloha" sign and hold hands with my wife.

Experiencing the sensation of riding the waves for the first time and feeling the power of nature was incredibly moving, especially when we reached the shore! Paddling back out was a bit tough for us since we don't usually exercise, but my wife had the instructor pulling her out, so that was not a problem at all (laughs).

普段運動をしておらず、サーフィンの予備知識もない私達にとってどの様な時間を過ごすことになるものかなと不安もありつつ初サーフィンに申込みましたが、先生とカメラマン、ワイキキの波のおかげで楽しくて素敵な思い出になりました。

先生は日本語も話せる丁寧で陽気な方。
最初の10分は浜で、注意事項やボードの乗る位置、こぎ方、立ち方、視線をどこに向けるか等を教えてもらいました。その後の50分は海で波乗りです。
自力で沖にでたら先生の指示で向きを整え、先生が波を選び、先生の指示でこいで波に乗ります。合計で5回ぐらい波に乗ったボードに立つことができ、カメラマンに向かってアロハポーズや妻と手をつなぐことも1時間足らずでできるようになりました。

波に乗るという感覚を初体験し、自然の力を感じることができ、岸まで到達してしまったときはとても感激しました！
沖に戻るまでのパドリングは、普段運動をしていない私達には少ししんどかったのですが、妻の方は先生が沖までひっぱってくれてましたので、その点も問題なしですね（笑）

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time seeing a show. We opted for the VIP dinner & cocktail & show package, which is a bit on the pricier side, but the dinner included at the table on the first floor makes it worth the price. The food, including lobster, salmon, and steak, was seasoned to suit Japanese tastes.

The show featured tributes to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Katy Perry, along with a hula show. While the impersonation show of the classic stars was fantastic, it might not be enough for younger audiences. I was captivated by the fire dance in the hula show.

After the show, there's a service in the lobby where you can take photos, making it a great tour for creating wonderful memories.

ハワイには何回か来ていますが、初めてショーを見ました。
VIPディナー＆カクテル＆ショーしたので、ちょっと高めの金額設定ですが、
１階のテーブル席でディナー付なので金額に見合ったショーです。
食事はロブスター、サーモン、ステーキが日本人にもあう味付けでした。
ショーは、プレスリー、マイケル・ジャクソン、ケイティ・ペリーとフラショーで
往年のスターのものまねショーはショー自体はとしてはすばらしかったですが
若者には物足りないかもしれません。
フラショーのファイヤーダンスは見入ってしまいました。
ショーが終わってからロビーで写真がとれるサービスもあるので、よい思い出になるツアーですよ。

There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us.
The crew spoke only English, but we had a great time.
On the contrary, I recommend it for those who want to feel the overseas atmosphere.
The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat has a unique charm and is very lovely.
Personally, I prefer this catamaran over the sunset cruise with dinner.

クルーも英語のみでしたが、十分楽しめます。
逆に海外を感じたい人にはお勧めです。
船上から見るワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドは

The meal was delicious, but there was a delay in service as our dishes arrived only when the table next to us was finishing their meal. The show was entertaining and enjoyable. I wish Presley could have come to the seats in the back as well, not just the front row.

食事は美味しかったですが、隣の席が食べ終わる頃にやっとこちらの料理が来るというサービスの手際の悪さがありました。
ショーは面白くて楽しめました。前列だけじゃ無くて後ろの席にもプレスリーが来てくれたら良かったのになと思いました。

I participated alone, but I had a great time! The waves were calm, making it perfect for beginners. I thought I wouldn't be able to take any photos since I was by myself, but I was so touched to receive the photo data at the end! The private lesson for two hours was quite intense, and I ended up with sore muscles. Haha!

一人での参加でしたが楽しめました！波が穏やかで初心者におススメです。一人での参加だったので写真取れないなぁと思っていたら、最後に写真データをもらえて感動でした！！プライベートレッスン2時間は結構ハードで筋肉痛になりました。笑

We've been to Waikiki many times and have done a few catamaran tours. This tour was by far the best! Very personalized, highly recommend the drink shaker and VIP boarding. Captain Rich and his crew Michelle are amazing, Will definitely do this tour again. Highly recommend this tour.

The sunset from off Diamond Head was absolutely beautiful. On the dinner cruise, I was fortunate enough to win a commemorative lobster, but the view of the Hawaiian sunset while cruising was simply elegant.

ダイヤモンドヘッド沖からのサンセットは最高に美しかった。ディナークルーズでは記念のロブスターが当たると言う幸運にも恵まれましたが、とにかくハワイの夕日をクルーズしながら見る景色は優美です。

About 90% of the participants were foreigners. The special drink is recommended as it doesn't make you drunk. If you are prone to seasickness, please take motion sickness medication before joining. Japanese is hardly understood, but it’s an enjoyable tour. If the timing is off when getting on and off the boat, you can get quite wet. Please board quickly while watching the wake. As mentioned by everyone, there is quite a wait. Even if the meeting time is 5 PM, the departure is around 5:45 to 6 PM. Bring minimal luggage. Towels are unnecessary. A waterproof camera is recommended. During this Obon season, a windbreaker is not needed. The voucher stating "comfortable shoes" is incorrect; wearing beach sandals is best. If you go on a Friday, you might enjoy the fireworks after sunset. You can view Waikiki from the sea, which is very nice. You can also see the layers of Diamond Head. If it's during the day, I recommend the snorkeling option.

9割くらいが外国人でした。スペシャルドリンクは酔わなくておススメです。船に酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲んでから参加して下さい。日本語はほぼ通じません。でも楽しめるツアーです。乗り降りの際にタイミングが悪いとかなり濡れてしまいます。引き波を見ながら、さっと乗船して下さい。皆様記載されていますが、かなり待たされます。集合時間が17時でも出航は17時45分～18時くらいです。荷物は少なく。タオルは不要。カメラは防水をお勧め。このお盆の季節ならウインドブレーカーは不要。歩きやすい靴というバウチャーは間違っています。ビーチサンダルで参加がベスト。金曜日ならサンセット後の花火を鑑賞できる時間帯も良いかも。ワイキキを海から眺められるので、とても良いです。ダイヤモンドヘッドの地層も見えます。昼間ならばシュノーケリング付がお勧めです。

Took my wife on this tour. We loved it. Awesome, knowledgeable staff. Got to experience sea life in clear water, right off Waikiki, followed by an awesome sail on the catamaran, which we didn't expect. We thought it was just to see the turtles - so for us, the sailing was an awesome bonus. Highly recommended.

We were a group of two Japanese people and three Asians. The lecture was given in English, but I somehow understood it through gestures. They pushed the board from behind and taught us the timing to catch the waves, so I was able to stand up. It was fun.

我々日本人二人とアジア人３人のグル－プで。英語でレクチャーされたが手振り身振りでなんとなくわかった。ボ－ドを後ろから押してくれて波に乗るタイミングを教えてくれるので、立てました。楽しかった。

We loved seeing all the sea turtles! It was nice to have the flotation devices and the anti fog spray for the masks. The crew was amazing and so much fun! Thank you!

We participated as a family of four. I joined 20 years ago and saw sea turtles and beautiful fish in their natural environment, so I wanted to show my children. However, the biggest point is that I didn't realize, since I didn't have kids last time, that the transfer boat to the submarine caused quite a bit of seasickness. It wasn't just us; many other participants were affected, and some adults were even down for the count. While the waves were a bit rough, the real issue seemed to be that we had to wait for about 15 minutes on a rocking boat while picking up people who had been on the submarine. The submarine itself doesn't rock at all.

The guide suggested taking motion sickness medication, but that doesn't help once you're on board. I think it would be better to clearly state in advance that "motion sickness medication is essential" for those who are prone to it. However, they might avoid mentioning this beforehand to maintain a good image.

Additionally, due to the deterioration of the natural environment in recent years, the beautiful coral reefs that were present 20 years ago have significantly decreased, and sea turtles are now rarely seen. The water is often murky (this is all based on what the guide said, so it's not just my impression). It seems that the views may not meet expectations anymore (this is my interpretation).

This tour has been popular for many years, but it might be reaching a transitional period. However, the staff and guides were very friendly.

One more point: when I made the reservation through Veltra, the voucher I received stated "this is not required to bring," but during the boarding process, they asked for proof of the reservation. I was glad I had printed it out just in case.

家族4人で参加しました。私は20年前に参加し、ウミガメや美しい魚が自然の環境で見られたので、子供たちにも見せようと思って参加したのですが・・。
まず最大のポイントは、前回は子供がいなかったので分からなかったのですが、潜水艦乗船までの間の乗り継ぎの船で、かなり船酔いしてしまうということ。我が家だけでなく、他の参加者にもかなり見られたし、中には大人でダウンしている人もいました。確かに少し波は粗いのですが、プレミアムと一般のツアーの乗船場所を回って行く点と、前の回に潜水艦に乗っていた人を帰りのためにピックアップするので、その間15分くらい、揺れる船の上で静止したまま待たないといけないのが辛かったようです。潜水艦自体は全く揺れません。

ガイドの人は酔い止めの薬を飲むよう呼びかけてはいますが、乗船後では何の役にも立ちません。船に弱い人のために、もっと強く事前に「酔い止め必携」を明記した方がいいと思います。ただこれを事前に出すとイメージが悪いので出さないのかもしれないですが・・・。

あと、近年は自然環境の悪化で、20年前はキレイだったサンゴ礁がかなり減り、またウミガメも減ってめったに見られなくなっている上に、海水が濁ることも多い（これらはすべてガイドさんが言っていたことなので、私の印象や創作ではありません）そうで、期待通りの眺望が得られなくなっていることも多いようです（ここは私の解釈）。
長年人気のツアーですが、そろそろ過渡期を迎えているのかもしれないですね。ただ、スタッフ、ガイドさんはとてもフレンドリーでした。

もう1点、ヴェルトラさんで予約をした際に返信されたきたバウチャーには「これは持参不要」とありましたが、乗船手続きの際には予約を取った証拠の提出を求められました。念のためプリントアウトしたものを持っていっておいてよかったです。

On the day we arrived in Hawaii, our family of four (two adults, a middle schooler, and an elementary schooler) participated. The introduction page mentioned "everyone paddles together" and "participants must be 3 years or older," so I assumed everyone would be paddling. However, when we participated, only the two adults were allowed to paddle. The children, aged 13 and 11, were told by the captain in English, "If I give the oars to the kids, they'll lose them, and that would be a problem," so they could only ride along. Instead, two male helpers paddled with us, but the kids were disappointed, so I wish we had known this when signing up. *I saw in other reviews that it mentioned "it's okay if women and children don't paddle," but in our case, it was more like "the kids wanted to paddle, but they weren't even allowed to hold the oars." The surfing itself was really fun and went by too quickly. Since we only had two runs, it felt a bit unsatisfying.

ハワイ到着日に、家族4人（夫婦・中学生・小学生）で参加しました。
紹介ページには「みんなで息を合わせて漕ぐ」「３歳以上参加可能」などと書かれており、全員で漕ぐものだとばかり思っていましたが、参加してみると、漕がせてもらえたのは大人２人だけ。子供たちは１３歳と１１歳ですが、船長さんから「子供にオールを渡すと、なくすから困るんだよね～」と英語で言われ、漕がせてもらえず、ただ乗るだけでした。代わりに助っ人さん（男性２人）が一緒に乗って漕いでくれましたが、子供たちはがっかりしていたので、できれば申込時に知りたかったです。※他の方の口コミに「女子供は漕がなくても大丈夫」というような記載がありましたが、私たちの場合は「子供たちも漕いでみたかったのに、オールさえ持たせてもらえない」状況でした。
波乗り自体は本当に楽しくて、楽しすぎて、あっという間でした。２本だけだったので、何だかちょっと物足りないくらいでした。

Had a great time! However, they did not provide fins. That would have made it slightly easier to snorkel. But other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was great.

Many people are already lined up before the meeting time, so if you have some flexibility, why not arrive a little early?! This is because those who get the welcome drink early and can freely enjoy the stick snacks while waiting at the front have a higher chance of being seated at the dining area sooner and getting a spot in the front row! The food, including lobster and steak, is all delicious. The show was truly amazing. It's definitely worth paying a bit more to see. With performances featuring Elvis, Michael, Katy Perry, hula dancing, and fire dancing, this is the essence of America! It felt like a true Las Vegas entertainment show from start to finish, and everything was great. It was almost like watching a Disney musical! The cost performance is excellent. I absolutely recommend the first-floor seats that are closer to the stage with meals included!

集合時間前にかなりの人が並んでますので、余裕のある方は少し早目に行ってはどうでしょうか？！
何故なら早くウエルカムドリンクを貰いスティックツマミを自由に食べて前方で待機していた方が、食事席に早く案内して貰いより最前列になる確率が高いです！
食事はロブスター、ステーキほか全て美味しいです。
ショーは本当に最高でした。
少し高いお金払ってでも観る価値は十分あります。プレスリー、マイケル、ケイティ・ペリー、フラダンス他、ファイヤーダンス。これぞアメリカン‼️ 本場ラスベガスエンターティナーショーって感じで‼︎最初から最後まで全て良かったです。
ディズニーのミュージカルを観ているようでもありました！
コストパフォーマンス最高です。
絶対に食事付きのステージにより近い1階席をお薦めします！

This was my first time using the service. It was supposed to be a sunset cruise, but since we set sail when it was getting dark, I couldn't see the sunset. However, I was satisfied because we had a great view of the fireworks that are held every Friday from the sea. After the fireworks ended, we had more cruise time than I expected, and I enjoyed a delicious Mai Tai while stargazing (though it was a bit weak). The waves were high, but I didn't get seasick and had a great time.

サンセットということでしたが、出航は辺りが暗くなる頃でしたので、夕日は見れませんでした。
金曜恒例の花火は海からよく見えたので、これは満足できました。
また花火終了後は、思った以上にクルーズ時間があり、星を見ながら、マイタイを美味しくいただけました。(ちょっと薄かったけど)
波が高かったのですが、船酔いもせず、楽しめましたよ。

For about ten years, my mother and I have been visiting Hawaii almost every year, but this time we decided to try sailing for the first time and boarded the Mai Tai Catamaran, which departs near our hotel. I used to stay at the Sheraton, so I often saw it, but I never thought to ride it... For some reason, I was curious this time and decided to give it a try, and it was so much fun! I wish I had done this every year. As mentioned in other reviews, there were very few Japanese people on board. Besides us, there was only one couple, and the rest were from various countries, which made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively! My mother doesn't speak English, but she had a great time getting wet and laughing with someone from another country who was sitting across from us, using gestures to communicate. It was refreshing to look at the city of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea and feel the ocean breeze. We also saw sea turtles. The duration of the trip was just right. I read in other reviews that it was good to bring less luggage, so I tried to minimize what I brought. Before boarding, they took our picture, which we could purchase on the way back for $20. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money to buy it, and that's the only regret I have.

10年程前からほぼ毎年ハワイに母娘で訪れていたのですが、今回初めてセーリングをしてみようと思い、ホテル近くから出航するマイタイ・カタマラン号に乗りました。昔、シェラトンを利用していたので、よく見かけていたのですが、乗ってみようと思うことがなく・・・。なぜか今回気になって乗ってみたら、とっても楽しくて、これなら毎年乗ればよかったと思いました。他の方の口コミにもありましたが、日本人は少ないです。私達の他に、1組カップルの方がいたくらいで、他は国際色豊かでした。それが、また楽しかったですね。ノリがいいので！母は英語が話せませんが、向かいに座った違う国の方と共に濡れて、一緒に笑ってジェスチャーを交えて楽しそうでした。海からワイキキの街やダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めて、海風を感じて爽快でした。あと、ウミガメも見れました。時間もちょうどいい長さでした。他の方の口コミで、荷物を少なくして乗船したと記載されてたので、持ち物を極力少なくして行ったら、乗る前に写真を撮ってくれて、帰るときに購入できるのですが・・・20ドル。持ってなくて買えませんでした。それだけが心残りでした。

The Mai Tai was not crowded with Japanese people, allowing us to fully enjoy the overseas atmosphere! The funky Westerners added to the excitement, making the sunset even more enjoyable!

It was a trip with six people from three generations of our family, but only my husband, son, and daughter participated in paddle surfing. Meanwhile, my parents and I were able to sit under a parasol reserved for tour participants and watch.
The kids fell a couple of times, and my husband fell five or six times, but they all came back quite tired after using a lot of leg muscles. While watching, they were all excited and said, "I want to try!!" but it seems that there's a difference between watching and actually doing it.

親子3世代6人での旅でしたが、パドルサーフィンに参加したのは、夫、息子、娘の3人でした。その間、祖父母と私はツアー参加者専用のパラソルの下で座りながら見ることができました。
パドルサーフィンでは、子供たちは2・３回、夫は５・６回落ちていましたが、かなり足の筋肉を使いとても疲れた様子で帰ってきました･･･
見ているときは「やりたい！！」と張り切っていましたが、やはり見るのとやるのとでは違うようです。

At first, I thought the pickup time was too early, but since I arrived early, I was guided to a table with a view of the fireworks. The food was just okay. The fireworks started late, and I had to wait quite a bit, but the view was fantastic, and I was satisfied.

花火が上がる時間が遅く、かなり待ちましたが、最高の眺めで満足です。

This was my second time on the Holokai Catamaran, and it was my first time at Sunset Cruises. The staff really got everyone excited, and it was a fun time. I was able to see parts of Diamond Head that I wouldn't normally see, which made me feel like I was really in Hawaii! The sunset was also very beautiful, and the locals surfing looked amazing. I think the unlimited drinks at a great price were a fantastic deal! Thank you very much!

今回で二回目のホロカイカタマランで、サンセットクールズは初めてでした。スタッフさん盛り上げてくれて、楽しい時間でした。ダイヤモンドヘッドの裏側とかもなかなかみれないので、ハワイに来たなー！という実感が湧いて来ました。サンセットもとても綺麗で、サーフィンをしているロコ達がとても画になり素敵でした。お酒も飲み放題でお得な金額だと思います！ありがとうございました

We participated in this cruise as the start of my cousin's bachelor party and boy what a great way to start it out! The catamaran was so cool, there was plenty of room for everyone, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the views were breathtaking. We even saw a sea turtle at the end! The staff made it so fun and made some pretty good drinks to boot. The appetizers were not great, but that is not why we were on the cruise. It was a relaxing and easy cruise right off the pier and around Diamond Head. The sunset views were beautiful. I would highly recommend taking a sunset Waikiki Sail on the Spirit of Aloha.

We had a wonderful time. Staff was great! Would do it again!

There were about 20 participants, mostly Westerners, along with my family and another group of Japanese people. The staff was friendly, and Mai Tais, beer, and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink. Initially, only those who wanted a Mai Tai raised their hands, and they were served accordingly. After that, those who wanted juice could request it themselves. Instead of moving sideways near the Diamond Head, we stopped the engine and sailed straight out to sea using only the power of the sails. If you sit on the right side during the ride, you can enjoy the view of Diamond Head on the way out and the sunset on the way back, which I highly recommend.

Those who ordered alcoholic drinks like Mai Tais put about $5 in the tip box when disembarking. They also took a commemorative photo with the yacht when boarding, which you can purchase for $20 if you like. I bought it as a keepsake, and it became a wonderful memory! The boarding point is at the beach near the Sheraton's Halekulani. It's a bit hard to find, so please be careful. It's a white yacht.

日本人は私たち家族ともう一組であとは欧米人ばかり２０人ほど参加していました。
スタッフもフレンドリーでマイタイやビール、ソフトドリンクは飲み放題。最初にマイタイ希望者のみ手を挙げ人数分サーブされ、その後にジュースなどの希望者は自分でリクエストします。ダイヤモンドベッド近くに横に進むというよりエンジンを止めてかなりの沖合までビーチに垂直に帆の力だけで進みます。乗船は右側に座ると行きはダイヤモンドベッド、帰りはサンセットを眺めれるのでオススメです。
マイタイ等アルコールを注文した人達は降りる時に5ドルほどチップを箱の中に入れていました。乗船時にヨットと記念撮影してくれ気に入れば20ドルで購入出来ます。
記念に購入しましたが良い思い出になりました！乗船はシェラトンのハレクラニ側のビーチです。わかりづらいので気をつけてください。白いヨットです。

I was looking forward to the meal before the show based on the reviews, but it was disappointing. ⤵ The seating during the show was good and easy to see, but the development of the one-hour show was lacking and I got bored.

ショーの前の食事のクチコミを読んで期待していましたがそれ程ではではなくがっかり⤵
ショータイムも席は見やすく良い席でしたが1時間程のショーの展開がイマイチであきてしまいます。

Take the earliest shuttle (6:00 a.m. from your hotel) to avoid beach crowd and avoid the park fee (if you get there before 7:00 -- no additional park fee!).
Driver was courteous, informative and fun. Equipment was in great condition, and you can expand on what you get (which is basics, but enough) for very little cost.
Had about 2.5 hours of snorkeling fun.
