I participated in June 2023. It was a night cruise with a fireworks viewing. I couldn't understand most of the explanations and safety instructions on the boat since they were all in English, but I could tell that all the passengers were really excited.

After the fireworks, we drifted at sea for nearly an hour, just drinking and having a good time. If you can speak English, I think you would be able to join in on the fun.

I was just trying to cope with seasickness and holding in my need for the restroom. I wasn't sure if there was a restroom on the boat, so I endured until we returned to port. Since drinks are unlimited, I think it's best to check on the restroom situation beforehand.

2023年6月に参加しました。花火鑑賞付きで夜からの乗船でした。船の説明や注意事項はすべて英語でほとんど分かりませんでしたが、乗客全員のテンションが上がっていることはわかりました。

However, everything from the entrance announcement was in English, so I couldn't understand the MC's jokes, which was a bit disappointing. It was a moment that made me realize the necessity of English conversation at my age. If the budget allows, I think it's better to participate with a Diamond Premier seat. Regular seats enter after the Diamond seats, and since the seating is further back, you can't feel the dynamism of the show.

We had a small baby with us, but since we could bring a stroller, we were able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The food was buffet-style, so for us, who can't eat a lot, it was great that we could take just the amount we could eat, so we didn't have to apologize for not finishing. Thank you for all the delicious dishes. When the sunset began, we were able to get up from our seats and take photos. This was my second time on the Sunset Dinner Cruise, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. From the moment I got on the bus, the staff were kind, and I felt safe enjoying myself from start to finish. Luck was on my side from the beginning of the trip, and on this day, I was able to see a beautiful rainbow. The food was served buffet-style, so I could eat just the right amount for my appetite, which is great for someone like me who has a small appetite, as well as for my family who likes to eat more. Going up to the deck to watch the sun set over the ocean was wonderful. We were blessed with great weather, which was the best part.

The staff at the Outrigger's Holokai Catamaran were very pleasant, and once we set sail, the crew's service was also wonderful. We enjoyed the swells on the yacht while sipping rum mixed with passion fruit juice.

Around 7:30, the fireworks from the Hilton began, and we got more cocktails from the all-you-can-drink option, which added to the excitement.

As Japanese people, we might be a bit shy, but we enjoyed the cheerful and lively atmosphere created by the Western guests.

I went on the 5-Star cruise. I made a reservation with the Celebration Plan (guaranteed window seat) and paid for it, but I was booked under the regular plan. While the manager was confirming my reservation, I couldn't eat the food in front of me for about 30 minutes after being seated. In the end, it turned out that the reservation from VELTRA to Star of Honolulu was under the regular plan, and I was treated as such until the end. I never expected something like this to happen. I'm very disappointed.

Also, it seems that the shuttle bus got caught in traffic, so by the time we arrived, dinner had already started, and other guests who arrived earlier were enjoying their meals.

I thought there might be a separate entrance for the 5-Star guests, but there wasn't anything like that. We all lined up at one entrance to board the ship.

The schedule mentioned that there would be a welcome reception by the captain on the exclusive deck on the top floor for 5-Star guests, but there was nothing of the sort. We were just guided to line up and proceed into the ship.

The food wasn't particularly delicious; it was average. It was mentioned that the meat could be cut with a fork, but it was more like something you could manage to cut with a knife.

I have been to Hawaii several times, and regarding the Hilton fireworks, I've seen them from various places, but sitting on the beach south of the Rainbow Tower is the best spot. Watching the fireworks from the cruise ship was an experience, but since it was from a distance, it lacked impact.

Additionally, guests from the lower deck were casually coming up the stairs to the 5-Star deck. There was a rope at the top of the stairs, but they seemed to know how to unhook it to get in and then rehook it. These were regular guests, not staff.

I was considering this might be my elderly mother's first and last overseas trip, so I regret spending a lot of money and time on this optional tour. I hope this review can be helpful to someone.

また、恐らく送迎バスが渋滞に巻き込まれたせいで、私たちが到着した頃にはすでにディナーは始まっており、先に着いていた他のお客さんは食事を楽しんでました。

乗船する際に5スター用の入口でもあるのかなと思ってましたが、特にそのようなものはなく、大勢で列に並んで一か所の入り口から乗船しました。

5スターだと「最上階の専用デッキでキャプテンによるウェルカムレセプションがある」というスケジュールが記載されていますが、そんなものは一切ありません。列になって船内に進むように案内されました。

料理も、特別おいしいものではなかったですね。普通です。お肉がフォークで切れるという記載がありますが、ナイフでがんばって切れるぐらいの感じでした。

私自身は何度かハワイに行ったことがあり、ヒルトンの花火については、いろいろな場所から見てますが、レインボータワーの南側のビーチに座って見るのが一番ですね。
クルーズ船から花火を見れたことは一つの経験にはなりましたが、遠くから見ることになるので、全然迫力はないです。

それから、下の階のお客さんが、普通に5スターのデッキに階段を上ってきてました。一応階段を上がった先にロープがありますが、手慣れた感じでフックを外して入って、またフックをかけてました。スタッフの方ではなく、一般のお客さんです。

年老いた母を含めた、最初で最後の海外旅行だろうと考えてましたので、このようなオプショナルツアーに大金と時間を使ったことが残念で仕方がないです。

This is my fourth time using this service, and each time I have had a wonderful experience that has never let me down. While sailing, we encountered a huge rainbow that connected 180 degrees, and afterwards, we all cheered and celebrated wanting to see it again. It was the best experience.

Also, the person who came to pick us up from the hotel couldn’t speak Japanese, and it seemed that some Japanese guests didn’t understand why they were receiving stickers. The stickers were for the bus number for the return trip, and I was told repeatedly that if I lost it, I wouldn’t be allowed on the bus. I was advised to take a photo with my phone. All the staff were cheerful, and we were able to have a great time.

両親と叔母の5人で初めて参加しましたが、金曜日だったのでヒルトンの花火も見ることができてとても良かったです。料理も美味しかったです。ただ、ロブスターは食べやすいように殻を剥いて貰えると聞いていたのですが、お願いしたら担当の方もやり方を知らず、また違う人にやり方を聞いて殻を剥いてくれたものの、一人分だけで後は自分でということだったので、ちょっと大変でした。後、ホテルに迎えに来る方が日本語が話せない人で、何人かの日本人の方達は何でシールを貰うのか理解していなかったようです。シールは、帰りのバスの番号で、無くしたら乗せてくれないと何回も繰り返して言われました。携帯で写真を撮ることを勧められました。スタッフの方々は皆んな明るくて、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

My wife and I had a great time on the cruise. The weather was pleasant and the fireworks and the views of the city at night were spectacular. The food was good and the drinks were very good. The fusion of hula dancing and rock shows. This is exactly the show I wanted to see in Hawaii. During dinner, a ukulele singer came right in front of us and sang "Forever and Ever" in Japanese, which was moving!

Many decades ago, I saw a Polynesian show, but I got a bit bored with the long hula dance and fire show. The heartfelt sound of the ukulele still lingers in my ears.

The subsequent Rock-a-Hula show featured wonderful dances and songs by impersonators of Elvis and Michael, along with hula dancing, fire dancing, modern dance, and zombie dance, showcasing a wide range of performances that captivated me. I was also impressed by the high level of the dancers!

And the best part was that I was in a VIP seat at the end of the stairs, so I got to shake hands with Elvis, which was exhilarating!! After the show, I was able to take photos with Michael and Elvis, creating truly enjoyable memories of my trip to Hawaii.

I am grateful to the staff for organizing such a wonderful event.

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy the fireworks since it was so close, so I booked a sunset dinner cruise. I also requested hotel shuttle service, and the pickup was smooth, allowing us to board the Star of Honolulu without much waiting.

Onboard, there was an all-you-can-eat buffet with delicious options like roast beef, chicken, fruits, and desserts. I enjoyed a Mai Tai as well. While listening to hula dancing and Hawaiian music, I had fun taking pictures with the people next to me. During sunset, I went out on the deck, felt the ocean breeze, and admired Diamond Head, making it a wonderful experience.

One thing I would like to see improved is the space around the buffet area, which was narrow and had a long line for the roast beef. It was disappointing to wait in a cramped space while it was crowded. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant cruise. I would like to thank all the staff.

フラダンスやハワイアンを聞きながら、お隣の方とも写真を撮りっこしたりと楽しく過ごし、サンセットの時間にはデッキに行き、海風に吹かれてダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めたりと、最高の時間を過ごしました。
一つ、改善してほしいと思うことは、ビュッフェの台あたりが狭く後ろにもたくさんの人が並び、ローストビーフで長蛇の列ができていたことです。
混み合うのに、スペースが狭くて待たされたのが、残念です。
それ以外は心地良い船旅が楽しめました。スタッフのみなさんにお礼を申し上げます。

I reserved a window seat because I boarded on Friday. The lobster was large and delicious. When it was time for the fireworks, everyone came out to the sign, so it was hard to see, but since I had children, we watched from our seats.
