I didn't receive the VIP treatment I was expecting, but I appreciated how kindly everyone was treated, regardless of their category.

The show featuring impersonators of Elvis and Michael was, of course, impressive, but the local female singers also showcased remarkable vocal talent, making it a worthwhile experience. Among them, the final act with the fire knife was thrilling; I was worried they might get burned, but it was executed perfectly—truly impressive! Good job!!

The show's progression followed the calendar year, and the deep admiration for 'Iz' from Hawaii, who appeared on the screen at the end, made the entire performance even more moving.

I was very excited to experience my first dinner cruise in Hawaii. The interior of the ship was very clean, and I was able to listen to live Hawaiian music, take photos of the sunset and Diamond Head, and at the end, everyone danced together. It was a packed schedule, and I had a really fun time. The food was delicious, and I was especially happy to have the experience of enjoying a whole lobster, which is not something you get to do often! The staff were all very friendly, and it became a wonderful memory.

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see traditional Hawaiian hula dancing and fire dancing. Before the show, there was a buffet-style dinner, but with the staff's signal, everyone rushed to get their food, creating a huge line. As a result, there wasn't much time, and it felt like we just made one round through the buffet. The roast beef was delicious.

The show started with hula dancing, followed by a medley of impersonators of Elvis and Michael Jackson, fire dancing, and songs from local singers, which was quite enjoyable. After the show, I was able to take pictures with the performers, which made for a nice memory.

This was a brilliant adventure, from the moment you get in line to enter and get your lei, to when you find yourself on stage dancing the Hula. The activities are great with a number of free cultural classes in the “kitchen” and around the grounds. Great photo opportunities as the sun sets, with great shots of the ocean, the city if Honolulu, and the mountain ranges.

I would recommend this for any other couple, or family regardless if there are or are not children.

Awesome cruise!

We had a great time on the fireworks cruise. The crew was fun and energetic and made everyone laugh. The drinks were nice and strong and service was fast. Some folks seemed like they pre partied all day and got a little raunchy. Families with young kids should keep this in mind (this is also warned on their website). The view was great and the music was fun.
A nice way to end the day!

I participate every time I go to Hawaii.
The sunset view from the ship is amazing.
This time I chose the buffet, and the vegetables, meat, and desserts were all delicious. One disappointing thing this time was that the group of tourists was on a different floor, singing Japanese songs like "Blue Coral Reef," which was a bit annoying.

This was a great experience. The performers and all staff were professional and made sure we had a good time. Food portions were perfect so that we weren't super stuffed but full enough. Beautiful food presentation. Hats off to the culinary team and chef!!!! This was a memorable experience and the interactive dance for everyone at the end was a perfect way to end the dinner cruise. Only one recommendation would be to have air conditioning in the boat. Other than that, the night was amazing!!

The Royal Hawaiian Center is quite spacious, so I struggled to reach the fourth floor, but I managed to arrive a bit early. Communication in Japanese wasn't very smooth, but I was somehow guided to my seat at the buffet-style dining area. I received a welcome drink and was greeted with Hawaiian dance, allowing me to feel the atmosphere of Hawaii.

As it was buffet-style, participants were called in turn to serve food onto their plates and then return to their seats to eat. Being a buffet, I could choose as much of my favorite dishes as I wanted. The roast beef was cut by the chef from a large chunk of meat. All the dishes were delicious, but the pineapple served at the table was the best. To enjoy the tropical vibe, I ordered a Chi Chi drink. The dining time was set longer, allowing me to finish my meal comfortably.

When it was time for the show, the staff guided us to our seats, and the show began. The stage was spacious, and the lighting was professional. The venue was lively with performances by impersonators of Elvis and Michael, hula dancing by dancers, and ethnic performances involving fire. Elvis even came down to the audience during the show and shook hands with us, which made me laugh because he looked so much like the real Elvis. He brought laughter to the audience with his talk at various points. Although I didn't understand much English, the enjoyable time flew by, and it was a very satisfying show. I chose the normal course, but the food variety was limited and the portions were small, making it completely unappetizing! I could hardly eat anything. The onboard hula show featured only one male and one female dancer, and to top it off, the staff serving the food also performed a dance. The weather was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset either. It was a disappointing tour.

My first time in Hawaii, and it might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I went on a Friday with a window seat, lobster, steak, and the chance to see fireworks. It was amazing!
The meal was luxurious and delicious, and Michael, who served our table, was a very attentive young man, frequently checking in to ask how everything was.
A woman sitting next to us seemed to get seasick, and he brought her sparkling water and showed great concern; the service was outstanding.
The boat went back and forth on the sea, and we could see Diamond Head beautifully, the sunset was lovely, and we also got to see the fireworks at 8 PM—there was nothing to complain about.
The music during the meal was wonderful, featuring Hawaiian music, jazz, hula, and local ethnic shows,
and at the end, everyone participated in dancing (like YMCA)—it was full of fun!

The hour went so quickly!
The boat was easy to find, right out the front of Duke's.
The boarding into the boat was relatively easy, there's stairs that come down from the centre of the boat that you climb up. We did get wet leaving the boat but that was okay!

We cruised around to where the fireworks happen and had a great view.
The time went so quickly!

We are here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and were looking forward to the sunset sail. It was absolutely amazing! The drinks were great and it was very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and polite. Unfortunately, the sunset sank behind the clouds rather than over the ocean, but since it was a fireworks cruise on Friday, we were able to enjoy the fireworks from the sea. This was my first luau. Although not a traditional luau that one would see on a beach, this one was fantastic. The food was delicious with plenty to choose from, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the show incorporated traditional song and dance along with "Elvis" and "Michael Jackson"...all were so very talented! The seating in the theatre was comfortable, and the location was easy to get to. I highly recommend!

This was our second trip on the Star of Honolulu, the first being 9 years ago. I paid more this time for an upgraded meal. The meal was good, but I think we would have been happier with just the buffet. The upgrade wasn’t really worth the price we paid. The entertainment was good and the views were spectacular! If we come to Hawai’i again, I think we’ll just get the lowest price meal and still do the cruise.

This time, we stayed in Hawaii to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We participated in a VIP tour based on a recommendation from one of my mother's friends. We were able to take the elevator to the fourth floor from the Royal Hawaiian Center, Building B, to reach the venue. We arrived at the venue by 5:15 PM.

The meal was a buffet in an outdoor space with a roof. We received service tickets for a Mai Tai and another drink, so we had plenty of alcohol! The buffet offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. However, the waiting time for the meal was too long, so it would be best if that could be improved.

When it was showtime, we moved to the indoor theater. We were seated in the central front area, which allowed us to see the performers up close. The show was packed with entertainment and lasted about two hours! There were dancers who could perform in any genre, from Elvis to Michael! It felt more like an entertainment show than just a hula show, and from that perspective, it was very impressive!

Personally, there was one song by Israel that I loved, and I wished I could have heard a few more solo songs from him. At the end, there was a photo session, and everyone in the venue seemed to have a great time. I want to tell my friends about this experience!

集合17:15に合わせて会場へ。
お食事は屋根のある屋外スペースでのビュッフェ。
マイタイともう一杯のサービスチケットいただいたので、お酒は十分でした！お食事は色々ビュッフェで楽しめました。ただお食事までの待ち時間が長過ぎたので何か改善できたらベストかと。
ショータイムになり、屋内シアターへ移動。
前方中央の席にしてくださり、演者の皆様も近く見応えがありました。
ショーは盛りだくさんであっという間の２時間ほど！！
プレスリーにマイケルに、どのジャンルでも踊れるダンサーの皆様に！！！
フラショーというよりエンタメショー、その角度で観たら見応え十分でした！！
個人的には、イズラエルが一曲あったのですがステキな声でもう何曲かソロで聞きたかったです⭐︎
最後にはフォトセッションなどもあり、会場の皆様大いに楽しまれてました。
お友達にも教えてあげたいと思いました！

When I was thinking about what to do in Hawaii, I decided to book a traditional Hawaiian show from Japan. Before the show, we enjoyed a lovely buffet-style meal. It was fun to watch hula dancing right in front of us while we ate.

The pineapple juice we had first was delicious, and it really made me feel like I was in Hawaii. The beef and fruits that were cut and grilled right in front of us were tasty, and I ended up feeling quite full.

The show featured not only hula but also performances resembling Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, making for an enjoyable time. The fire dance was impressive, and the content was very fulfilling. I thought this optional tour was a great value, especially during this time of yen depreciation.

ハワイらしいショーを見てみようと思い日本から予約して行きました。ショーの前には素敵なビュッフェスタイルの食事もいただきました。食事してある時に目の前でフラを踊ってくれて楽しかったです。
まずいただいたパイナップルのジュースが美味しくてハワイ気分を満喫しました。目の前で切って焼いてくれるビーフやフルーツが美味しくてお腹いっぱいになりました。
ショーはフラだけではなく、マイケルジャクソンやエルビスプレスリーも登場しそっくりで楽しい時間を過ごしました。ファイアーダンスも迫力があって内容がとても充実していました。円安のこの時期にこれだけ楽しめてすごくコスパいいオプショナルツアーだなと思いました。
