In my case, I had heard about the bad weather and how easy it is to get lost, so I arrived an hour early and got a good seat. However, even with diamond seats, it's first-come, first-served, so if you want a better seat, it's advisable to arrive early.

The show itself is conducted entirely in English, so it might be better for those who understand a bit of English or can enjoy the atmosphere. My companion wasn't very good at English, but they were really moved by the show!

The drinks, sunset, and atmosphere were all amazing! We gathered at the beach adjacent to the hotel at 5 PM, and although we had to wait for about 30 minutes, the meeting spot was easy to find, and we could play on the beach during the wait, so it wasn't a problem at all. Once we got on the boat, even though I'm not very good at English, the staff crew and the other international guests were very friendly, and I felt a sense of unity! When I mentioned I was Japanese, the staff handed me explanations and the drink menu written in Japanese, which I appreciated. I definitely want to participate again when I come to Hawaii!

We danced together until we arrived at the port. It was a lot of fun until the very end! I think it's a good idea for those who are not used to being on boats to take motion sickness medication before departure.

The dance show was energetic and very lively, and we enjoyed the sunset, night view, and Friday fireworks, making it a packed tour. I thought the dress code was great; some people were casual while others dressed up, which made it fun and free.

This was one of the things we had scheduled in advance of our trip to Oahu, because we had heard nothing but good things about the cruise. They did not disappoint. From our meet and great with the captain to the final departure from the ship, everything was first class. The entire crew was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Our server, Germese, could not have been any nicer and very attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. We also enjoyed the live entertainment during and after dinner. It did start to rain as we were heading back to the dock, but the crew took very good care of us and walked us out to our transportation with umbrellas. Would definitely cruise again if we get back to Waikiki. We would certainly recommend the Star of Honolulu to anyone who wants to be treated perfectly. Aloha!

I was recommended by the travel agency to end my trip with a 5-star cruise, but on the day of the cruise, the ship was rocking severely, and I got seasick. The motion sickness medication I took beforehand didn't help at all, and even after receiving some from the ship's staff, I still felt terrible. I was particularly shocked since I had not experienced any seasickness up to that point. I couldn't eat any of the food, and I wasn't able to use my drink tickets either. My husband had a meal, but it seemed to be just slightly better than usual, and he wasn't very satisfied. If you are prone to seasickness, please be cautious.
