The weather wasn't very good during the day, but as soon as we set sail, the sun came out, and there was applause and excitement!

It was perfect for wrapping up our three-generation trip. Since we were on a boat, the food was just okay, but we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset, look back on our trip while gazing at Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, and spend a wonderful time together.

The sticker that served as our ticket (which we wore on our chest) had information about our seats, services, and transportation, making the return guidance smooth.

I took a taxi to the port instead of using the shuttle bus. The trip there took almost twice as long due to rush hour. I think those who don't use the shuttle bus should leave the hotel early.

Perhaps because the ship was large, it didn't sway much, and I was able to enjoy the food, music, and dancing. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the food since we were on a ship, but I was surprised by the plump lobster and perfectly cooked steak that were served. The servers were also very pleasant. However, it was a bit noisy for having a conversation while eating, so I think a different course would be better for those who want to chat.

On the way back, there was a taxi stand right where we disembarked, so I was able to return quickly without having to call for a taxi.

I have used Sunset Sailing several times, but during busy times, I have often found it sold out after arriving on-site. This year, I took advantage of the option to make a reservation in advance. The sea changed to a deep blue, and I enjoyed views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the water. With cheerful music playing and unlimited drinks like my favorite Mai Tai, the weather was great, and I was able to see the sunset perfectly. It was absolutely wonderful! My grandchild, who experienced this for the first time, was also thrilled!

We participated with nine people, including my 83-year-old mother, three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a two-year-old grandchild. The lobster and steak were fairly good, but it was disappointing that the drinks took a long time to be served and didn't arrive at the same time as the meal. The Polynesian show and music were great, and everyone at the table was friendly. Before we docked, almost all participants joined in dancing, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, but that can't be helped. I felt like there wasn't enough time.

Additionally, they take a photo of you at the beginning, and later a staff member comes around selling the framed photo for $50, which is amusing. After the show, the performers allow you to take pictures in the hallway, so that was satisfying.

This was a great experience, the shuttle arrived right on time to pick us up, had to wait on the dock for about 20 minutes while the prepared for us to load which wasnt to bad, there was just the right amount of people so it wasnt to crowded, the food was amazing, the bar service top notch, and it was a nice smooth sailing and a perfect position for everyone to see the fireworks, would recomnd to to anyone to do from couples to families

I arrived just in time for the 5 PM meeting, but the local staff greeted us with smiles. The waves were calm, and it felt great when the boat caught the wind and picked up a bit of speed. The scenery while sipping a Mai Tai on the boat, with the blue sky, the setting sun, and Diamond Head illuminated by the sunset, was truly wonderful.

There were two couples and a family of four, in addition to my own family of three, and everyone else was from various countries. Since we could speak English, we were able to chat with other passengers, which made for a very enjoyable time. There was no sign of poor service just because we were Japanese or because we couldn't speak English.

The staff on the boat were very friendly and helped create a lively atmosphere, making it a lot of fun. While there were no explanations in Japanese, I think even those who don't understand English at all could follow along through the staff's gestures.

船上のスタッフもとても気さくで、その場を盛り上げてくれて楽しかったです。日本語での説明などはありませんが、全く英語が分からなくてもスタッフのジェスチャーなどで説明は理解できると思います。

集合場所への行き方が不安でしたが、シェラトンのプールとバーを抜けていくとすぐ目の前にあります。分からなかったら、シェラトンのフロントとかでバウチャー見せて「マイタイ・サンセット」と言えば教えてくれるかと思います。
