What an amazing first time experience kai my flight buddy I was quite attached to lol.
He looked after me during the whole training and jump experience many thanks you made a 64 year old feel like an 18yr old again (my wife was also pleased to see safe back on terrafirma lol)

The first day was canceled due to strong winds. I made another reservation for the following day, and since the weather was clear, we were able to go. When I asked the staff, they mentioned that the morning is better, so I recommend starting at 9 AM. I saw other experiences regarding tips. Since I had such a wonderful experience, I believe I should tip generously. I'm grateful to the cheerful and kind local staff. They truly moved me. I highly recommend this experience; you can't appreciate it unless you try it. Also, please participate in short sleeves and shorts to feel it on your skin. It's better to ask the photographer for videos and photos, as they capture the scenery as well. It's a bit pricey, but I recommend purchasing it.

初日は風が強くキャンセルとなってしまいました。
翌日にまた予約を入れ、晴天だったのでできました。
スタッフに聞いたところ、朝の方がいいと言ってましたので、9時スタートがおすすめです。
他の体験談を見ましたが、チップについて。
私はあんなにすばらしい体験をできたのですから、気持ちよく払うべきです。
陽気で親切な現地スタッフに感謝です。
感動を貰えたので。本当におすすめです。体験しないと味わえないです。
あと半袖、半ズボンでの参加をお願いします。肌で感じ取れます。
動画と写真はカメラマンにお願いした方が、景色も写りますしおすすめです。
少し高いですが、購入をおすすめします。

My first skydiving experience! It was amazing!! Even though I'm not good with roller coasters, I wasn't scared at all! The view from above was breathtaking. The instructor didn't speak Japanese, but he was friendly and very kind. The photos are a bit pricey, but I think it's better to have them taken by a professional! The driver was Japanese, but during the explanations in the car, he spoke so fast that I couldn't understand what he was saying, which made me anxious. I was told I didn't need to wear a seatbelt, but the driving was so fast that it was scary. On the way back, I was prompted to "prepare a tip," which left me feeling a bit complicated. The diving itself was fantastic, so I want to do it again when I come to Hawaii!

人生初スカイダイビング！最高でした‼︎絶叫マシン苦手なのに全然怖くなかった！
上から見た景色に感動(^^)インストラクターさんは日本語通じませんが、気さくでとても優しい人でした(^^)写真はちょっと高いけどプロに撮ってもらったほうがいいと思います！ドライバーは日本人の方でしたが、車内での説明の際早口で何を言っているかよくわからなくて不安でした。シートベルトしなくていいと言われたのにものすごいスピードで運転されて怖かったです。帰りの車の中で「チップ用意しといてくださいね」と催促され、なんだか複雑な気持ちになりました。ダイビング自体は最高だったので、ハワイに来たらまたやりたいです！

It was so much fun, and I felt amazing. I thought I might get scared during takeoff, but the instructors were so cheerful that it felt like no time at all before we were diving. When I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to sign up for this. I want to do it again and again!

とにかく楽しくて、最高の気分でした。
離陸した際に恐くなるかと思いましたが、インストラクターの方々がとにかく明るくて、ダイビングまであっと言う間でした。

When I was signing the consent form that was several pages long, I thought it felt like I was going to my death... but I made it back safely‼︎ As soon as I jumped out of the plane, I was instantly immersed in a breathtaking world, and there was no fear at all.

何ページもある承諾書にサインしている時、死にに行くみたいだな…とか思っていましたが、無事に生還しました‼︎
ポンと飛行機から飛び出たらあっという間に絶景の世界に浸り恐怖なんてありませんでした。

I participated with four colleagues from the company.

Since it was cloudy, we had to wait for a break in the weather to fly, and there were quite a few customers, so we ended up waiting for about 3-4 hours before taking off.

Because of that, I was extremely tired after the flight.

However, I think it's an experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime.

曇り空だったので、晴れ間を待って飛ぶ必要と、結構な人数のお客さんが来ていたので3-4時間待っての飛びでした。

それもあってか、飛んだ後の疲れはハンパなかったです。

ただ、体験としては一生に一度は経験した方が良いと思います。

I'm glad I bought the movie and photos! I thought I might not need them, but they will be great memories. However, they are a bit expensive...

At first, I was nervous and unsure of what to do, but if you're going to hesitate, you should definitely just go for it! However, if you don't equalize your ears, it can really hurt, so if you do it right, it feels amazing!

I signed up for a jump at an altitude of 4267m (14,000ft) alone. Pickup is available in front of hotels in Waikiki. After about an hour's drive, we arrived at the Pacific Skydiving Center. Since skydiving cannot be done if the clouds don't clear, we waited for about two hours that day. There wasn't much to do during that time (there's only a vending machine around), so I recommend bringing something to pass the time, like a guide map.

They operate with a single small airplane, which can accommodate 8 tandem pairs at once. In fact, they "must" be able to take 8 pairs at a time.

I signed up for 14,000ft but ended up on the same plane as those jumping from 10,000ft. Out of the 8 people, 3 of us, including myself, were supposed to jump from 14,000ft. Although I was puzzled, once I boarded, I jumped at the same time as those at 10,000ft. "Wow, that's low."

After the jump, and after giving a tip, I was informed that I had jumped from 10,000ft, and I received a $30 refund. It seems that "raising the altitude to 14,000ft for a few people incurs extra fuel costs, so it's more cost-effective to jump from 10,000ft and issue refunds." Since there were no clouds, it wasn't due to weather, and it seems they always handle it this way when they don't have enough people for 14,000ft.

Even though I chose 14,000ft for the skydiving experience, they changed it to 10,000ft without my consent based on the number of participants and informed me of this afterward. If I had known this, I probably wouldn't have used the Pacific Skydiving Center, as there are cheaper companies for jumping from 10,000ft.

I received various explanations for skydiving from Japanese staff. It's frustrating to be deceived by a Japanese person abroad, rather than by a foreigner.

The Pacific Skydiving Center is an insincere company. Also, tips are placed in a box (there's no confirmation of the amount), so you can just put in $10 casually.

一人で高度4267m(14000ft)に申し込みました。
ピックアップはワイキキのホテル前でしてもらえます。
１時間ほど走りパシフィックスカイダイビングセンターに到着しました。
雲が晴れないとスカイダイビングはできないということで当日は２時間ほど待ちました。その間何もすることがない（周りには自販機くらいしかない）ので、ガイドマップなど暇つぶしできるものを持参することをおすすめします。

小型飛行機一台ですべて運営していて一度に8組のタンデムが乗れるようです。

というか「必ず」一度に8組乗せられます。

私は14000ftに申し込みましたが10000ftの人と同じ飛行機に乗りました。8人中私を含めた3人は14000ftでした。
疑問に思いながらも乗り込んでしまったが最後、スカイダイビングも10000ftの人と同じタイミングで飛びました。
「いや、低いわ。」

飛んだ後、それもチップを渡した後に10000ftで飛んだことを伝えられ30ドルの返金が有りました。
「数人のために14000ftまで上がるのは余計に燃料代がかかるから10000ftで飛ばして返金したほうがコストがかからない」ということなのでしょう。
雲もありませんでしたので天候の理由ではなく、14000ftが8人揃わない時はいつもこういう対応をしているのでしょう。

せっかくのスカイダイビングだからと14000ftを選んでも人数によって勝手に10000ftへ変更され、事後にその事実を伝えるというこの対応はいかがなものでしょうか。
10000ftで飛ぶならより安い会社も有りますので、私はこれを知っていたらパシフィックスカイダイビングセンターは利用していないと思います。

スカイダイビングを行うための様々な説明は日本人のスタッフに受けました。
海外で外人に騙されるのならまだしも、海外で日本人に騙されるというのは余計腹が立ちます。

パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターは不誠実な会社です。
なおチップはポストに入れる形式ですので（額を確認されることもないので）適当に10ドル入れておけばいいでしょう。

I jumped out of the plane and descended without even having time to feel scared. There’s no time to feel fear, so I think it’s worth trying even for those who are afraid of heights. Jumping itself isn’t scary at all, but the speed during the descent is incredible, and the wind pressure can make it hard to breathe, so that’s definitely something to be cautious about. If you have any issues with your respiratory system, you really need to be careful. I also have a tendency towards asthma, so I found myself gasping for air like a fish out of water. After the parachute opened, the descent speed slowed down, and breathing became easier. If you request the instructor to do some turns, they will do so while descending, so definitely try to enjoy the descent with some turns. That was the most fun part!

怖いと思う暇もなく飛行機から飛び出て降下しました。恐怖感を感じてる暇もないので高い所が苦手な人でもトライする価値があるとます。飛び降りるのは全く怖くないですが降下するときスピードが凄いので風圧で呼吸困難になりますので其方の方が余程～注意すべき点になると思います。呼吸器系に多少でも問題がある方は本当に要注意です。私も喘息気味なので魚が酸素が足りなくて口をパクパクしてる状態になりました。パラシュートが開いた後は降下のスピードが緩やかになり呼吸も楽になります。インストラクターに旋回をリクエストすると旋回して降りてくれますので是非とも旋回しながら降りて下さい。それが一番～楽しかったです。

You watch a video and receive an explanation in the car from Waikiki to the airport, and they show you a video in Japanese! The instructor can speak a little Japanese, so I was able to fly without any worries!
I recommend it because you can enjoy the view of the North Shore!
If you want photos or videos, a photographer flies with you, and you can choose to buy them afterward, so I recommend requesting them!

ワイキキから飛行場までの車の中でビデオを見て説明を受けるのですが、日本語のビデオを見せてくれます！インストラクターの方も少し日本語が話せるので不安なく飛べました！
ノースショアの海が眺められるのでオススメです！！
写真やビデオを希望するとカメラマンが一緒に飛んでくれて、飛び終わった後に買うか選べたので、希望するのがオススメです！

I have always liked roller coasters, but this is a thrill like no other.

The scariest part is when you jump off. But that fear quickly turns into excitement! It's so beautiful! At first, it's hard to breathe, but I'm just captivated by the amazing scenery beyond that. I wished I could fly a little longer. I want to do it again.

Photography and videos cost over 20,000 yen, and I wish it were a bit cheaper... but I thought I would like to do it with photos next time.

Since you have to wait for the standby time and for everyone to jump, it takes up half a day, so keep that in mind!

The staff are from Hawaii and can speak simple Japanese. However, the person in charge of me was quiet and didn't help me relax, which made me feel a bit, no, quite anxious during my first skydiving experience. Even though they are in customer service, I felt they had become too accustomed to it and were a bit too businesslike, which made me feel a little sad. So, I will deduct one star.

もともとジェットコースターなどは好きでしたが、これは比べものにならないくらいのスリルです。

飛び降りる時が1番怖いです。
でもすぐに恐怖心から感動に変わります！

待機時間やみんなが飛ぶまで待たないといけないので半日はつぶれますのでそのつもりで！

みなさんハワイの方ですが簡単な日本語は話せます。でも私の担当の方は無口でリラックスさせてくれることなく淡白な感じで初めてのスカイダイビングで少し、いや、かなり不安でした。接客業ですが慣れ過ぎてしまってて業務的になってしまっているところがあるな、と少し寂しく思いました。なので星を1個減らさせていただきます。

I'm not good with roller coasters myself. I thought I would be quite nervous, but I wasn't scared at all and was able to dive into the sky! The view from the Cessna was truly beautiful and has become the most memorable scenery I've ever seen. Depending on the weather, it may take some time, but I think it's understandable since the staff are also risking their lives. If you're hesitating, you definitely should go!

自分自身ジェットコースターも苦手なのです。だいぶドキドキするだと思っていましたが全く怖いとも思わず空へダイブ出来ました‼︎
セスナ機から見る景色は本当に綺麗で本当に今まで見た景色で1番思い出に残るものになりました☆
天候により時間がかかったりしますが、スタッフさんも命がかかっての事なので当然かと思います。

We got the upgrades version and sat in the front with the pilot. It was the perfect view and I was able to take breathtaking pictures. There was so much to see in areas we wouldn't have been able to hike to on the ground. The pilot was funny and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic experience and a highlight within our first trip to Hawaii.

The only Japanese staff member was the shuttle driver, and the rest were all locals, all speaking English (laughs).
Well, they communicated with gestures, and there were Japanese videos available, so I think it was fine.

I love thrill rides, but I was worried about the free fall since I'm not good with it, but I had no fear at all.
Instead, I was moved by the stunning views of Oahu and the pods of whales I saw from the sky, and it ended in no time.
The price isn't cheap, but I'm glad I had the experience.

日本語スタッフは送迎のおじさんだけで、ペアを組むのはオール現地人、オール英語でした（笑）
まぁでもジェスチャー交えてくれるし、日本語ビデオもあるので問題ないと思います。

絶叫マシンは好きなのですが、フリーホールが苦手なので心配だったんですが、恐怖心は全くなかったです。
むしろオアフ島の絶景と空から見たクジラの群れに感動して、あっという間に終わってしまいました。
価格は安くはないですが、経験できてよかったです。

On my daughter's 18th birthday, we had an experience together.

After signing up, I had moments of regret, wondering if I rushed into it or should cancel, but reading about everyone else's experiences made me realize it wasn't scary and would be fun.

When we took off, I felt a bit scared and was surprised when we did a full rotation in the air, but it wasn't unstable like a roller coaster; it felt like my body was well-supported against the intense air resistance during the fall.

Once the parachute opened, we descended slowly, and I had the chance to enjoy the instructor swaying us side to side and spinning us around.

After that, I was just overwhelmed by the beauty of the sea and the scenery.

We dove last, which allowed us to enjoy the parachute for a longer time without overlapping with those who dove earlier.

It became the best experience and the best birthday memory with my daughter!

娘の18歳の誕生日に、親子で体験しました。

申し込んでしまってから、早まったかな、やめようかなと後悔したりもしましたが、皆さんの体験を読んでいると怖くないんだ、楽しいんだと思えるようになりました。

飛び立つ時は少し怖くて、空に向かってくるんと１回転したのにも驚きましたが、ジェットコースターのような心臓が飛び出るような不安定さもなくて、激しい空気抵抗に体がしっかり支えられてるような落下の仕方でした。

パラシュートが開いてからはゆっくり落ちていき、インストラクターが左右に揺らしたり、回転してくれるのを楽しむ余裕もできました。

後はもう、ただただ、海の美しさ、景色の美しさに、感動しまくりです。

一番最後にダイビングしたのですが、先にダイビングした人達と重ならないように滞空時間も長くゆっくりパラシュートを楽しめました。

娘と一緒に最高の体験、最高の誕生日の思い出になりました！

You definitely won't regret it! Taking off in a Cessna was an exhilarating experience! The scariest part was during takeoff, but the refreshing feeling after the parachute opened is unmatched! I highly recommend giving it a try!

Diving from sea level was amazing! The instructor was kind, and the instructor assigned to my family was funny, so we were very satisfied! I could only speak a little, but it was totally fine! When filling out the paperwork, there was a Japanese grandfather, which made me feel at ease.

There were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I think Japanese people can feel at ease.

It was my totally first time to try Skydiving, and I was lucky to try my first experience here. Every staffs are so nice. And skydiving was needless to say AMAZING. I definitely would come back again!

It was my first time skydiving, and the instructor and the Japanese driver (or guide?) explained everything thoroughly, so I was able to enjoy it without any anxiety! I chose the higher altitude, and because the freefall time was longer, I was able to slowly take in the incredibly beautiful scenery of Hawaii, so I'm glad I went for the higher option! It was truly a sensation, excitement, and emotion that you can only experience by doing it!! Thank you to the instructor and the cameraman who jumped with me^^

On the first day, there were many clouds, and we waited nearly two hours for the weather, but everyone who came that day had to leave without flying. We tried again on a different day, and that day we were able to fly right away, which was amazing. Last year in Hawaii, there were many days with bad weather in September and October. I recommend that anyone who really wants to fly should have some flexibility in their schedule!

初日は雲が多く、現地で２時間近く天候待ちしましたがその日来ていた人は全員飛べずに帰りました。別の日にトライし、その日はすぐに飛べて最高でした。去年のハワイは９~10月天気が悪い日が多かったです。どうしても飛びたい人は日程に余裕を持つことをおすすめします！

What everyone is curious about is, without a doubt, the pricing! Let me share it with you!!!

- Pre-payment in Japan: SALE price: $179 (regular: $190)

■ On-site payments (cash)
- Tip for the driver: $10
- Tip for the tandem instructor: $20
- Tip for the photographer: $20

* For the driver, $10-$20, handed directly during hotel drop-off.
* For the instructor, $20-$40, put in an envelope and dropped in their personal mailbox after the jump.
* For the photographer, $20-$40, put in an envelope and dropped in their personal mailbox after the jump.

■ On-site payments (card)
- Video + stills: $230

* It seems you can decide whether to purchase the video or stills after viewing the data.
* Since the photographer is also jumping, saying you don't want either video or stills is not an option.
* The data can be received on a USB.
* There are courses where the instructor takes photos, but since it's still expensive, it's definitely better to have the photographer do it! (I saw the video taken by the instructor on-site.)
* There can be quite a difference in the photographer's skills. It's a matter of luck!
* Since you descend at 200 km/h, even if you're cute, you might not look that cute in the photos! Make sure to tie your hair back neatly! (Hair can get messy!)
* If you're concerned about your upper arms, wear a long-sleeve undershirt (the wind pressure makes your flesh jiggle!)
* There is a notebook for writing impressions of the instructor and photographer. I didn't know about the notebook since I was the first jump after arriving.
* You probably can't request a specific instructor (due to weight limits, etc.), but it would be fun if you could request a photographer based on their skills! Maybe you could ask?
* There was an ATM in the office.

■ To summarize the total amount I paid:

- Skydiving (pre-payment): $179 (SALE price)
- Driver tip (cash): $10
- Instructor tip (cash): $20

I had a little chat with the long-winded driver who often appears in everyone's impressions during the wait time.

He doesn't really recommend getting the photos.

According to him,
"Just the memories are enough." If you have the chance to come here again, you might be offered various options, but firmly refuse and say, "I just want to jump!" Please challenge yourself again.
"Wasn't it great?"

Yes! It was super great!

* But, you definitely want to have photos from your first jump!

Lastly,
Even if the stories from the elderly aren't interesting, you should listen to them!

　私は、到着後１番目のジャンプだったので、ノートの存在を知りませんでした。
　たぶんインストラクターの指名は出来ないと思いますが（体重制限とか、、、）
　カメラマンは、腕前で指名出来ると面白いですよね！言ったら出来るかも？

話の長いドライバーのお爺さんと待ち時間に、ちょっと話をしました。

彼は、撮影をあまりオススメしていません。

彼曰く
「思い出だけで充分なんですよ」もしまた、ここに来る機会があるなら、
あれこれオプションをすすめられるだろうけど、頑として断って
「私は、ジャンプだけでいいです！」って、もう一度、是非チャレンジして下さい。
「気持ちよかったでしょ？」

はい！ちょー気持ちよかったっす！

※でも、初めてのジャンプは写真残したいよね！

最後に、
お年寄りの話は、面白くなくても聞いてやるもんだぜ！

I always wanted to try skydiving. The weather wasn't great, and we waited for about three hours. I was really scared before jumping, but the feeling while the parachute was open was truly amazing. You can choose between having a photographer take pictures and having the instructor who jumps with you take photos. I asked the instructor, and I was very satisfied with the many pictures I received. It was over in a flash, but it was a great experience. I want to do it again.

１度はやってみたかった、スカイダイビング。
天気が良くなく、３時間程待ちました。
飛ぶ前が最高にこわかったけど、パラシュートが開くまでの間は本当に気持ちがよかったです。
写真と動画が、カメラマンにお願いするものと、一緒に飛ぶインストラクターが撮影するものと選べます。インストラクターにお願いしましたが、写真もたくさんで満足です。
あっという間だったけど、とてもいい体験ができました。また、やりたい。
