It was my first time in Hawaii. I participated with my family of five, and although we couldn't speak English, our cheerful guide kept us entertained until the end. It was an amazing time. However, three of us couldn't speak in the second half due to motion sickness. I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

初めてのハワイでした。家族五人で参加したのですが、英語話せませんが、陽気なガイドさんで最後まだずっと楽しませて下さりました。
最高な時間でした。
ただ、乗り物酔いで三名が後半は話せませんでした。酔い止めはおすすめします。

Most participants were international travelers, but there were hardly any Japanese people on the tour. I worked hard to listen to the English being spoken and realized my lack of language skills. However, I was very satisfied with the tour overall. Although it was a group booking with one vehicle, I learned for the first time that if there are several participants in the group who want to drive, multiple group bookings are necessary, as only two people can drive in one vehicle.

It was an exhilarating show that was completely different from what I had imagined a Polynesian show would be! First of all, the power of the Polynesian show was incredibly moving. And the rock show was the best. Michael's singing and dancing were a sight to behold! After the show, there was a greeting and photo opportunity. I took a picture with Michael and shook his hand, but I was shaking all over, and I could tell he was performing despite being exhausted, which brought me to tears. It's a soulful show that I highly recommend everyone to see!

自分が想像していたポリネシアンショーとは一線を画す大興奮ショーでしたよ！
まず、ポリネシアンショーの迫力は凄く感動しました。
そして、ロックショー、最高でした。マイケルの歌、ダンス、一見あり！
ショーの後、グリーティング、写真撮影出来ました。
マイケルと写真撮影して握手してもらいましたが、全身震えていて、満身創痍でパフォーマンスしているのが分かり、涙が出ました。
そんな魂のショー、是非皆さん観てください！

I participated in a group lesson starting from the afternoon of the day I arrived. First, we received an explanation and safety briefing through a video in English indoors. After that, we walked to the beach in front of the Honolulu Zoo, where the instructor provided guidance on land before we entered the water. However, since the instructor's explanations were also in English, it might be a bit challenging if you don't understand English at all.

Other participants were also from Canada and the mainland, so I was able to experience a bit of a study abroad atmosphere through English communication. The waves were not too big, making them just right for beginners. With the instructor's help while riding, everyone was able to stand up and ride the waves.

Since being able to swim was a prerequisite, it was a bit tough to paddle back and forth to the spot to catch the waves, but thanks to that, I was able to sleep soundly from the first day and managed to avoid jet lag afterward.

到着した日の午後からグループレッスンに参加しました。
まず室内にて英語による動画で説明、注意点の講習を受けた後にホノルル動物園前のビーチに徒歩で移動、そこでインストラクターから海に入る前に陸上で指導して頂きますがインストラクターの方の説明も英語なので、英語が全く分からないと少しキツいかもしれません。
他の参加者もカナダや本土から来ていた方で、英語によるコミュニケーションなので少しプチ留学の気分を味わう事ができました。
波はそれほど大きくなく初心者にはちょうど良い強さでインストラクターの方にライドする際に押してもらえば参加者の全員が立って波に乗る事ができました。
泳げる事が前提なので自分自身で波に乗る場所までパドリングで往復する必要があるため少し大変でしたが、おかげで初日からぐっすり眠れその後時差ボケせずに過ごすことができました。

Overall is very good. The lobster is very tasty, the steak is great, the view to the fire work is amazing, the crews are super friendly, the dance performance is fantastic. We enjoyed the dance at the end with a lot of laughs & funs together. Highly recommended.

I'm glad they provided raincoats for us. My lower legs inevitably got wet, but I brought a change of clothes just in case, so it wasn't a problem. (laughs)

First, I was taught how to stand on the beach, and since we were facing the ocean, even beginners were able to ride the waves! There were multiple instructors watching over us, so I felt safe while having fun!

はじめに浜で立ち方を教えてもらって、海に向かうので、初心者でも波にのる事ができました！先生も複数人いて、全体を見てて貰えるので安心して遊ぶ事が出来ます！

It was not crowded because it was the rainy season, and there was no waiting at all. However, it didn't rain during the day, so I was able to enjoy it thoroughly!

雨期だったため空いていて、全く並びませんでした。でも、日中は雨が降っていなかったので、十分に楽しむことが出来ました！

We drove buggies while touring the highlights of Kualoa Ranch. Since all participants were adults, the guide shared a lot of interesting historical background.

バギーを運転しながらクアロアランチの名所を巡りました。
参加者が全員成人であったためガイドさんが歴史的な背景の話をよくしてくださりました。

This was me & my partners second time doing this adventure, first time was back in 2021. We had great instructors both times but this time we got taken on a slightly longer path that was even more beautiful & scenic than the last. We had a couple friends with us this time that we recommended the tour too & they absolutely loved it as a highlight of their trip! Ticket price had slightly increased since the last time we came but definitely worth it!

It was my first time horseback riding, but the explanation was only about three minutes long in a video. I was quickly put on a horse and we started. It was raining that day, and the horse seemed to have difficulty walking. An instructor was present, but since it was in English, I obviously couldn't understand what they were saying. They were giving various instructions quite loudly. I rode for about two hours straight, and my back and butt hurt, while the instructor was shouting next to me, and I got soaked from the rain. It was truly an exhausting first experience.

初めての乗馬でしたが、説明は動画の3分くらい。すぐ馬に乗せられてスタート。
当日は雨もあり、馬も歩きにくそうでした。
インストラクターが付くのですが、英語なんで、
当然何言ってるか分からず？
結構大声で、いろいろ指示してくる。
約２時間乗りっぱなしで、腰、お尻は痛いし、横でインストラクターは、喚いてるし、雨でビショビショになるし、ホント疲れだけが残った初体験でした。

It was a very enjoyable show. The composition was good, and it had a Hawaiian feel, which made me satisfied. Since it's an indoor theater, the acoustics and visibility are great, and the seats are spacious, which I think is nice.

とても楽しいショーでした。構成もよくハワイらしさもあり満足です。
屋内のシアターなので音響、見通しもよく席もゆったりしているので良いと思います。

I participated in this activity on my honeymoon! Although it was low tide in the afternoon session, I was able to see turtles! Coming back from Hawaii, this was the activity that made me feel like I experienced something Hawaiian! However, I think it's better to be prepared for swimming for about an hour to enjoy it more!

午後からの部で引き潮ではありましたが、亀を見つけることができました！
ハワイから帰ってきて、ハワイぽいことをしたと思えるのはこのアクティビティでした！
ただ、1時間ほど続けて泳ぐことになるのはあらかじめ覚悟しておいた方が楽しめると思います！

At the reception, it was almost 100% in English, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that Japanese was hardly understood, but somehow we managed. With our phones, gestures, and broken English, we made it to the buggy ride. With goggles and bandanas, we were ready to go!

The buggy experience, while enjoying the filming spots and the grandeur of Hawaii, was incredibly fun. Unfortunately, the guide's stories at each photo spot seemed very interesting (the foreign guests were laughing and interacting a lot), but they spoke so quickly that our phones were of no help. If we had understood, it would have been 200% more enjoyable. Still, it was nice that the guide made an effort to communicate with us through gestures. Next time, I hope to at least understand some American jokes!

受付からバギーの説明までほぼ英語100パーセントと言っても過言でない程日本語は通じませんでしたが、何とかなるものですね。携帯とジェスチャーとカタコトの英語で何とかバギーに乗るまではたどり着きました。ゴーグルとバンダナでいざ出発！
映画の撮影スポットやハワイの雄大さを満喫しながらのバキー体験は面白さ満点でした。悲しいかな、それぞれの写真スポットでのガイドの方のお話が、とても面白そうなのですが(外国の方はとても笑ってやり取りしていたので)、如何せん早口で携帯などは役にたたず、それが分かったら200パーセント面白かったでしょう。それでも私たち家族を気遣って、ジェスチャーで話しかけてくれるのは嬉しかったです。次回はせめてアメリカンジョークが分かるくらいになって行きたいものです。

The day was a little wet from the morning rain, but it did not prevent us from having a fun day ATVing at North Shore Stables. Just prepare yourself to get dirty!!
We caravaned on the farm our guides took us along the coast but mostly through the farmstead. We stopped and met their farmers (cows) and their goats. Very delighted to find out that this company is doing what they can for the environment and turning much of their dollars to restoration! Kudos to NSS and thank you for a very fun time!!

We were so lucky to been taken out just before the weather went bad, these guys knew what was safe and made sure we got a go but weren’t at any risk with bad weather. The boat ride was so fun and an adventure across the water in itself! My kids flew and had a ball. We then got the photos and they were amazing! 120 shots all transferred to our phones. All the staff were friendly and relaxed.

I was able to make a reservation without any issues even at the last minute. It was a bit scary, but I made great memories in Hawaii. All the staff spoke English, but I was able to understand them somehow, which was good.

少し怖かったですが、ハワイのいい思い出ができました。
スタッフ方は全員英語でしたが、なんとなく理解ができよかったです。

The North Shore was amazing, and as expected for a championship event, the huge waves were impressive. I even encountered a sea turtle while paddleboarding. It was a great tour.

初ノースショア、さすがチャンピオン大会が開催されるだけありもの凄い大波に感動。SUP中にウミガメにも遭遇。良いツアーでした。

I previously went horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, and it became one of my favorite places, so I returned. Riding around in a buggy through nature is truly amazing! We stopped at movie filming locations where they provided explanations in English. Since you'll get really dirty with dust, I recommend wearing clothes you don't mind throwing away! (laughs)

クアロアランチでは過去乗馬をしたのですが、その際とってもお気に入りの場所になり再訪。
バギーに乗って自然の中を走り回るのは本当に最高です！
映画のロケ地では止まって英語で説明をしてくれました。
砂埃にまみれてめちゃくちゃ汚れるので、捨ててもいい服で参加することをおすすめします！笑

The tour meets at a local spot, and it's easy to find since it's next to the Hilton Lagoon. We were taken out to sea by cheerful staff members. There were three groups of Japanese guests at the same time, so while others were flying, we waited on the boat, but it can sway with the waves, so those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious.

We wore life vests and safety gear, which the staff helped us with. They asked if we wanted photos before flying. After getting off the boat, they transferred the photos they took to our smartphones and also provided an SD card on the spot for $40 per group. We decided to purchase it.

The view of Waikiki Beach from the sky was wonderful. It was a clear day, perfect for parasailing. The wind was strong, so it swayed more as we gained altitude. Flying in Hawaii was amazing! The flight time went by in an instant. I felt like a kite, and I had a lot of fun!

現地集合のツアーですが、場所もヒルトンラグーンの横なので、わかりやすいです。陽気なスタッフのお兄さん達に連れられて沖の方まで移動。
同じ時間の予約が、日本人3組だったので、他の人が飛んでる間はボートで待ちますが、波で揺れるので、酔いやすい人は要注意かも。
ライフベスト着用して安全装備を装着。スタッフさんが全てやってくれます。飛ぶ前に写真が必要かどうか聞かれます。スタッフさんが撮ってくれたデータを船から降りた後スマホに転送し、SDカードもその場でくれて、1グループ40ドル。うちは購入しました。
空から見たワイキキビーチは、とても素敵でした。快晴でパラセイル日和。風は強いので、高度が上がるほど揺れます。
ハワイで飛べたのは最高！あっと言う間の飛行時間。自分が凧になった気分で、とても楽しめました♪

It was a pool that is not very common in Japan.
I think similar pools can only be found at Fuji-Q or Nagashima Spa Land.
There were a lot of slides, and it was fun.
You might get caught in traffic on the way back, so please be careful.

日本にはあまりないプールでした。
似たプールは富士急かナガスパにしかないかな？
たくさんスライダーがあって楽しかったです。
帰りは渋滞に巻き込まれるかもです。お気をつけて。

It was raining at the start, so I got completely soaked. It stopped right away, but I think it's better to bring a change of clothes. The horses are used to carrying people, so they walk without disturbing the line too much, even without any intervention. Occasionally, they might stray from the line, but if you pull on the reins, they quickly return to their place. Since I wasn't used to it, my backside was incredibly sore. Still, the two-hour activity flew by. If I have the chance, I would like my grandchildren to experience it as well.

スタート時は雨が降っていたのでびしょびしょになりました。
直ぐに止みましたが、着替えは持っていた方が良いと思います。
お馬さんは何度も人を乗せて歩いているので何もしなくても有る程度列を乱すことなく歩いてくれます。たまに列から乱れることも有りますが、手綱を引っ張ったりすると直ぐにもとに戻ってくれました。
慣れていないのでお尻がものすごく痛かったです。
それでも２時間のアクティビティーはあっという間に終わりました。
機会が有れば、孫にも体験させたいと思いました。

As a couple in our 60s, we had concerns about our physical ability and skills, but we were given careful instruction. It felt amazing to travel a long distance while feeling the wind, which would have been difficult on foot. The explanations were detailed, and we were surprised. Thank you for the enjoyable time.

60代夫婦で体力や技術に不安がありましたが、丁寧に練習していただきました。
歩いては難しい長い距離を風を感じて移動するのら最高に気持ち良かったです。説明も詳しくて、驚きました。

The captain, crew, boat accommodations were all good - great! But the reason for this excursion was the snorkeling and that was just OK.

First the good: The crew did a fantastic job taking care of us all on the boat. They seamlessly prepped all the food without us realizing they were doing it, and then served it very effectively! It was really good and plenty of it. Gotta be fast to ask for seconds tho as the crew is very efficient cleaning up. The boat ride was also great!

Now the OK: I fully expected the crew would extend their care to the snorkeling adventure and split us up into groups and take us around the coral reef. They did not, and we were left to swim and fend for ourselves not really knowing how to navigate a reef without coming in contact with it, not really knowing what we should be looking for. I "happened" across a turtle that came up from the depths of the coral and almost collided with me... so I saw that one, but not much else because I wasn't sure what I should be looking at.

The window-side seat on the top floor had a great view and the food was delicious. However, the size of the steak was clearly smaller than those at the surrounding tables, which was disappointing. Additionally, they did not bring water to us or other Japanese guests.

I felt a bit sad about various things, but the evening and night views were wonderful, and we could see the fireworks well, so I think it was still a good experience. I believe those who participate can enjoy it if they have a relaxed mindset.

窓際席、一番上の階で景色も良くお料理も美味しかったです。しかし、ステーキの大きさが周りのテーブルより明らかに小さく、残念な気持ちになりました。また、私たちや他の日本人にはお水を持ってきてくれませんでした。
色々悲しい気持ちでしたが、夕景、夜景は素晴らしく花火も良く観れたので良かったのかなとは思います。
参加される方は心にゆとりがあれば楽しめるとは思います。

I participated in a tour with transportation included. Upon arrival, a Japanese staff member guided us and explained the flow of the tour. I was relieved to find that it was only in English.

Since it had rained before, the buggy didn't get dirty from dust, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable ride! Although I couldn't understand the explanations during the tour since they were in English, I had a great time. The tour guide took a lot of photos, which made for wonderful memories.

送迎付きツアーに参加しました。
到着すると日本人スタッフさんが誘導してくれ、ツアー参加までの流れを説明してくれました。英語のみだと思っていたので安心しました。
バギーは雨の後だったので砂ぼこりで汚れる事なく、快適に爆走出来ました！
ツアー中は英語のみで説明がわかりませんが、かなり楽しめます。
ツアーガイドさんが沢山写真を撮ってくれて良い思い出になります。

Since I had never ridden a horse in Japan before, I prepared by watching videos on how to ride and referring to others' experiences.

Points to be careful about:
- A waist bag is fine, but no matter how small, shoulder bags are not allowed (there's a risk of getting caught while passing through trees), so you must use a locker for $5 a day.
- You can attach a small pouch with two pockets to the saddle for drinks and your phone. You can take photos with one hand while riding.
- There are courses for the sea, mountains, and movies, but the sea is just a view from the mountains and you won't be walking on a beach. The movie course doesn't include famous spots like the fallen trees from Jurassic Park, so most of the ride is through the mountains. (That said, the open plains have beautiful scenery...) If you're not someone whose main goal is to ride for a long time, you might be disappointed.
- As for compatibility with the horse? Generally, the horse walks on its own without needing commands, but the horse I rode often stopped, and even when I kicked to signal it to start, it didn't move much, leaving a gap with the others, which made me anxious. It’s suitable for beginners since there’s no running, but experienced riders might find it lacking.

Unexpectedly good points:
- The famous hamburger at Kualoa was surprisingly delicious. The classic burger has two patties, lettuce, tomato, and cheese without any sauce, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of the beef, making it the best hamburger I had during my trip to Hawaii. The fries that came with it were not greasy and tasty; it was a bit too much for one person but might be insufficient for two.
- On a day with unstable weather, there was information at check-in that ponchos were available for $7 for those who were worried. Since the rain stopped while we were waiting, I didn't buy one, but riders could borrow a rubber poncho along with helmets and pouches at check-in. It was very helpful when it rained during the ride.
- Some reviews mentioned long waiting times, but we found interesting rooms that explained the history of Kualoa Ranch and photo-worthy spots, so we didn't get bored and the waiting time felt just right. (Riding was from 11:30 to 15:45)

Having watched Jurassic Park beforehand and expecting to see those locations, I was a bit disappointed with the route, but I had fun being able to ride for a long time by myself, which is something you can only experience in Japan by walking for about 10 minutes with the reins pulled. If I have the chance next time, I would like to join the Jurassic Adventure Tour that visits the sets of Jurassic Park.

日本でも乗馬したことがなかったので、事前に乗り方を動画で見る他、他の方の体験談を参考に準備していきました。

気をつける点
・腰に巻くタイプのバッグなら大丈夫ですが、荷物はどんなに小さくてもショルダーバッグはダメ(木々の間を抜けるため引っかかる危険があるため)で、1日5＄のロッカーに入れなくてはなりません。
・馬の鞍にポケットが2つ付いた小物入れを設置でき、飲み物や携帯を入れることができます。携帯は乗馬中に片手でなら撮影可能です。
・海・山・映画コースとありますが、海は山から海が見える程度で砂浜とかを歩く訳でもなく、映画も有名なジュラシックパークの倒木の場所などでもないため、ほとんどが山の中を歩きます。(とはいえ拓けた平原などはキレイな景色ですが…)あくまでも長時間乗馬をすることが目的の人じゃないとガッカリするかもしれません。
・馬との相性？なのか基本的には指示しなくても勝手に歩いてくれますが、私の乗った馬は途中で止まってしまうことが多く、お腹を蹴るスタートの合図をしても中々進んでくれず前の方と間が空いてしまうことが多く焦りました。走ることはないため、初心者には向いていますが経験者には物足りないと感じるかもしれません。

予想外に良かった点
・クアロアで有名なハンバーガーは予想以上に美味しかったです。クラシックバーガーはパテ2枚・レタス・トマト・チーズのみでソースがかかっていないため、牛本来の味が楽しめハワイ旅行で1番美味しかったハンバーガーとなりました。付け合せで付いているポテトも油っこくなく美味しく、1人では多いけど2人だと物足りないかな？くらいの量でした。
・天気が不安定な日で、チェックイン時に不安な人は7＄でポンチョが売っているとの案内がありました。待機中に雨が止んだため買わなかったのですが、乗馬の人は受付時にヘルメット・小物入れの他にゴム製のポンチョを借りることが出来ました。乗馬中に降られたのでとても助かりました。
・待機時間が長いとの感想がありましたが、お土産屋さんのほかにもクアロアランチの歴史がわかるお部屋があったり写真映えするポイントがあったりと、私たちは退屈することなくちょうどいいくらいの待機時間でした。(乗馬11:30~、帰り15:45)

事前にジュラシックパークを見てここに行くんだと期待してしまったため、ルートには少しガッカリしましたが、日本では手綱を引かれて10分歩く位しか体験出来ない所を自分1人で長時間乗馬することができて楽しかったです。次回があればジュラシックアドベンチャーツアーというジュラシックパークのセットを巡るツアーに参加したいと思いました。

I took a taxi to Hilton Hawaiian Village, which was fine, but I was nervous because I didn't know where the meeting place was...

I think it would be reassuring to have prior information like, "After passing through the hotel entrance, there will be a boat docked towards the beach."

On the 10:00 trip, even at a depth of 30 meters, it was bright, and I could see many fish, which was a lot of fun! I was hoping to see a honu (sea turtle), but unfortunately, that didn't happen... Since my elderly mother was with me, we didn't do any marine activities, but it was great to be able to explore underwater in a submarine, which is something you can't easily experience in Japan.

ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジまでタクシーで向かったのはいいのですが…
集合場所がわからずドキドキしました。。

「ホテルの入り口を抜けて、ビーチに向かった所に船が停まっている」
などの事前案内があったら安心だと思う。

10:00の便で、海底30mでも明るく
たくさんの魚が見れてとても楽しかった♪
ホヌに会えるのを願ってましたが…叶わず。。
高齢の母も一緒だったので、マリンアクティビティは一切なかったので、日本ではなかなか体験できない潜水艦で、水中散策ができたのでよかったです。

It was so amazing view was great and our tour guys where amazing Matt and I can’t remember the girl with brown hair and glasses (sorry) they did an amazing job!! Love it will come back again soon Mahalo :)

This tour is conducted in English, but even if your English isn't very good, they kindly assist you using translation software. When purchasing tickets or entering, the driver had informed us in advance that we should buy tickets together with the foreign guests who joined us as part of the same group, which made things really easy. Above all, it's a great value! Compared to Japanese-speaking shuttle tours, it's truly reasonable. There was plenty of time to enjoy, so we were able to relax on the beach until it was time for pickup!

英語がそんなにできなくても、翻訳ソフトなどを使って、親切に教えてくれます。実際にチケットを購入したり、入場する際も、相乗りしてきた外国人の方に同一グループとして一緒に購入してあげて欲しいと、あらかじめドライバーさんから申し伝わっているので、本当に楽でした。何よりも、コスパがいい！日本語対応の送迎ツアーと比べて本当にリーズナブル。滞在時間もたっぷりあるので、お迎えまでビーチでゆっくりできました！
