We booked Hollywood tour at Kualoa ranch with our 2 little kids and we really enjoyed the experience. We also paid for pick up and drop off to Waikiki, which was really convenient.

The guide on the bus was really good and had lots of good information to share. We also enjoyed his humour.

Overall, we enjoyed the experience and will come back again.

We did the advanced ride which allows for trotting and cantering in some spots on the way up the trail for more experienced riders. It was an amazing experience and we were pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the trail and how many times we were allowed to canter for stretches of trail where it's safe to do so. Our guide was on top of everything and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.

Had a great time and conversation with our guide. A lovely relaxing paddle up the river filled with big adorable sea turtles. On the way back out, with lights on we got to watch schools of fish swim beneath the boards and I even got to see a baby Hammer head shark swim beneath me.

The entire experience was exceptional. Very entertaining and enjoyable. Would definitely go see it again. A job very well done.

We participated as a family and had a great time. However, there are several photo spots, which are nice at first, but towards the end, it gets a bit tiring. If you don't understand English, you won't grasp the explanations. But you can still enjoy it without paying attention to the English. Make sure to wear clothes that can get dirty! The dust from the car in front gets all over you, and your face will be covered in dust. Your eyebrows might even get completely covered! Occasionally, you pass through small streams, and if you go too fast, you'll get soaked (since there's no front window). I think it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes. I highly recommend participating for those who want to enjoy an active experience!

ただ所処に撮影スポットがあり、最初は良いですが、最後の方はだるいです。
英語が分からないと説明は分かりません。
英語無視でも楽しめます。
参加には汚れてよい服装で！
前の車の砂埃が全体にかかります。顔が砂埃で黒くなります。眉毛が一本になります。
たまに小川を通ります。勢いよく行くとずぶ濡れです。(前方窓無い為)着替え用意がいいと思います。
アクティブに楽しみたい方は是非参加オススメします。

This may have been the only time, but all the participants except for us were from the mainland United States. Therefore, there was almost no support in Japanese, and even for us, who are not too uncomfortable with English, we ended up not understanding much of the content. If we had knowledge of constellations, we might have understood better. However, I thought it was a valuable experience to be able to see Saturn and other planets through the telescope. Also, at the end, they gave us a photo as a gift.

今回だけかもしれませんが、参加者は私たち以外、全員アメリカ本土からの方たちばかりでした。
ですので、日本語でのフォローもほとんどなく、英語にそれほど不自由しない私たちでも内容があまり理解できずに終わりました。
星座の知識があれば理解できたかもしれませんが。
ただ、土星などは望遠鏡で見ることができて、貴重な体験だったと思いました。また、最後に写真をプレゼントしてくれました。

Workers we’re awesome! Only thing I’d wish was we had a little more time in the air but overall super fun and the workers were great with our 5 year old daughter! Everything was easy and smooth. Thanks!

Sadly due to traffic I missed the boat by a minute I had checked how long it would take to get there when planning my leave time and I was quoted 45 every time when I was staying only 25 miles away however traffic was crazy and it ended up being an hour and a half drive we pulled into parking at exactly 1745 and the boat was pulling out as I was running to it. Gave a rating of Good because the boat left exactly on time and if I had been on board that would have been great

I was unsure which course to choose, but I decided on this one based on everyone's reviews. I had a great time all day, and I think it was good that meals were included. I was worried about the bad weather, but I was able to see the second performance on the boat, and especially the staff on the boat made it a lot of fun, so it became a wonderful memory.

一日中楽しめましたし、食事も付いてたしよかったと思います。
あいにくの空模様で心配してたのですが、船の上で二次も見ることができ、特に船のスタッフの方がいろいろ楽しませてくれたのでとてもいい思い出になりました。

The Kualoa ranch is expansive and offers beautiful vistas of the Hawaiian landscapre - moutains, valleys, forests, and ocean views. The drive/pathway chosen to drive thru the 4000 acres is fast. I recall 3-4 stops - and always felt kind of rushed to jump out'the vehicle - look around - and then get back on the road as other UTV, bus, and bike tours were stopping at the same places. So, 1) it was hard to look around at the views while driving - typically between 15-18 mph - which sounds slow - but you're in a line of vehicles - someone drving in front of you - someone behind. Attention must be on the driving at all times while driving. Vehicle behind us was 'rushing' on our bumper - some kid in the car shouting at us to 'drive faster' rudely. Ummm - when you have to be attendant to what's driving in front of you (the guide in a vehicle) - sometimes, kiddo, that is not possible. And yes, his parents were with him - and yes, the father was driving - fully aware of the rudeness - that's all I say. Stopped to look at some of the remnants of scenery left by movies shot on location there. Photo ops were hard to grab when so many people and other groups were vying for the best views and angles. The guides were o.k. - a little flippant and joking around with each other a bit much. One of the guides 'treating' us to some local Hawaiian lore about the land and lizards - which did not make any sense to us and just seemed kind of out of left field and a little odd. It was worth seeing the land but - if you're driving, you'll miss out on a lot - until the brief stops.

This activity is my favorite activity on Oahu. You start the paddle as the sun is setting, and end when it's dark. You are guided by LED lights on the bottom of the board, that illuminate the ocean below you. Making it visible to see so much sea life. On this paddle I have seen MANY turtles, manta rays, fish, jellyfish, and even small reef sharks (not to worry they are small and harmless).

This is truly a one of a kind experience that is so much fun! The guides are extremely knowledgeable of the area, and not to mention very personable. You can tell they love their job! They make sure everyone is comfortable and safe, which makes this tour so enjoyable.

No paddle board experience? No need, the guides will instruct you along the way, and make sure you don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do. I would recommend this paddle to any one who likes an adventure, or anyone who is looking to step outside of their comfort zone.

Driving a four-wheeler through the great outdoors was so much fun. The buggy had no windows, and I ended up covered in dust from my face to my clothes, which is a funny memory. The guide took a lot of photos and was very kind. One disappointing thing was that the guide explained everything at various points, but it was all in English, so I couldn't understand anything at all.

My friend and I, who are not young anymore, took on this challenge thinking it would be our first and last time, and it was the best (though my family seemed quite worried). No matter how old we get, we want to do what we love!

Five years ago, I experienced a one-hour horseback riding course, but this time I tried the two-hour course. Of course, the price was different, but the route was completely different and the scenery was beautiful; this time was far better. I would have been more satisfied if I could have had a light canter on the flat paths, like in the marking video, but that was a bit disappointing.

5年前に1時間コースの乗馬を体験しましたが、今回は2時間コースを体験しました。もちろん価格も違いましたがルートが全く違い景色も良く、今回の方が遥かに良かったです。マーキングビデオのように、平坦な道では軽い駆け足をさせて貰えれば、もっと満足出来たのですが残念でした。

I had imagined Sandbar to be a sandy beach like in the pictures, but it was just a shallow area, which was disappointing. Also, the hamburger lunch was small and not very tasty. Until now, all the tours I participated in Hawaii were very satisfying, but this time I was disappointed for the first time.

今まで参加したハワイのツアーはとても満足のいくものばかりでしたが、今回初めてがっかりしました。

One of the reasons I wanted to go to Hawaii was to visit this place, but I could only make a reservation for January 1st, so I went by rental car. I was a bit anxious about driving, but the scenery along the way, with the North Shore coastline and the ocean, was incredibly beautiful. It took about an hour from Waikiki, but the zip line experience was amazing. We started with an easy zip line and gradually moved on to longer ones, reaching up to 800 meters, which was not scary at all and very enjoyable. The longest zip line offered a fantastic view of the North Shore ocean from a high point. I was able to get some great photos while zip lining. I participated with older children, and we all had a great time without any issues. The instructions were all in English, so there were a few things I didn't fully understand, but since the process was the same each time, it wasn't a problem. On the way back, we also stopped by Giovanni's, famous for its garlic shrimp, which became one of my best memories.

ハワイに行く目的の一つとしてここに行きたかったのですが、予約が１月１日しかとれず、レンタカーで行きました。レンタカーで行くのは不安でしたが、道中でノースショアの海岸や海に向けて広がる景色がすごく綺麗でよかったです。ワイキキからは１時間程度かかりましたが、ジップラインが最高でした。最初は簡単なジップラインから徐々に長いものに行き800メートルのところに行くので全然怖くなく楽しめました。最長のジップラインは高台からノースショアの海が見える最高の景色でした。そこでジップライン中の写真を撮っていただき最高の写真もゲットできました。高学年の子供連れで参加しましたが、問題なく楽しめました。説明はすべて英語なのでちょっとわからないところもありましたが、毎回やり方は同じなので、問題ないかなと。帰りにガーリックシュリンプの有名なジョバンニにもよれて最高の思い出の一つになりました。

It was a plan that included transportation to the site, and upon arrival, there was a guide who spoke Japanese, who explained how to enter and how to have lunch. All the other park staff communicated only in English, so I was able to enjoy myself without any worries. Thank you very much.

現地までの送迎付きプランでしたが、到着すると日本語が話せるガイドさんがおられ、入場の方法やお昼の取り方など説明いただきました。その他のパークのスタッフのかたはすべて英語のみのコミュニケーションでしたので、不安なく楽しめました。ありがとうございました。

A helicopter tour around Oahu in winter.
From Waikiki Beach to Diamond Head, through Hanauma Bay to Lanikai, and then to the North Shore.
We were able to capture surfers riding the big waves at the North Shore perfectly!
My advice is to definitely dress warmly and to eat lightly before participating to avoid motion sickness.
There are two seats next to the pilot, which are ideal for video and photo shooting. I highly recommend you experience this.
The price is high, but considering the experience, it's not expensive.

冬のオアフ島をヘリで一周。
ワイキキビーチからダイヤモンドヘッド、ハナウマ湾からラニカイを経てノースショアへ。
ノースショアの大波を乗りこなすサーファーもばっちり撮影できました！
アドバイスは、必ず暖かい服装で参加することと、
参加前は食事を控えめにすること。乗り物酔いを避けられます。
操縦者の横、２席ありますが、ここが動画、写真撮影に最適です。ぜひぜひ、体験してみてください。
値段は高いけど、内容からすると高くないです。

On the day of the event, we were informed that the mountain trail was dangerous, so we had to decide whether to take half of the course or cancel. Considering the return bus, we decided to cancel. Instead, we rode go-karts. It was fun in its own way, but I ended up covered in mud, which I hadn't planned for, and it caused a lot of trouble afterward.

当日、山道が危ないとのことで、半分のコースになるか、キャンセルするかとなりました。
帰りのバスのこともあったので、キャンセルしました。
その代わりにカートに乗りました。
それはそれで楽しかったのですが、身体全身が泥だらけになり、予定してなかったのでその後すごく困りました。

The bus was supposed to arrive at 7:35, but it was about 10 minutes late. The Japanese people around me were quite anxious about the time. After confirming names, we received stickers to wear during the tour and set off. It took about 15 minutes to reach where the boat was docked. We boarded a large boat and waited for all the other tour participants to get on (we waited for about 30 minutes).

Both on the boat and in the bus, the air conditioning was extremely strong, making it quite cold, so I recommend bringing a jacket. It was warm when the sun was out, but since I tend to get cold easily, wearing Uniqlo's Ultra Light Down was just right for me. The boat was large, so I didn't feel much rocking.

There are bagels and drinks available for purchase on the boat, so you can have breakfast there, but it's more expensive compared to the ABC store (the drinks were about $4, if I remember correctly).

As for the whales, they surfaced a few times, but whether due to regulations or the size of the boat, we didn't get very close and mostly viewed them from a distance. During the ride, there were announcements in English (no Japanese) explaining about the marine life in Hawaii and the whales. Although we could only see the whales from afar, we were still able to enjoy the beautiful sea and Diamond Head, so I think it was a good value for the experience!

7:35に迎えが来る予定のはずでしたが、10分程度遅れてバスが到着。
時間に厳しい周りの日本人はそわそわしてました。
名前を確認し、ツアー中貼っておくシールをもらって出発。
船が停泊しているあたりまでは、約15分。大きな船に乗船し、他のツアー参加者が全員乗船するまで待ちます。（30分間くらい待った。）

船の上もですが、バスの中もACが強烈に効いていて激さむなので、
上着を持っていくことをおすすめします。
陽が当たる時は暖かいですが、わたしは寒がりなので、
ユニクロのウルトラライトダウンを着ててちょうど良かったかも。
船が大きいので、わたしはあまり揺れも感じませんでした。

船の中にはベーグルやドリンクも売ってるので、船の中で朝食は取れますが、ABC storeに比べると割高です（ドリンクはたしか$4だった）

肝心のくじらはというと、何回か海上の表面に現れましたが、規程があるのか、船が大きいからか、あまり近くには寄らず、だいぶ遠目から眺める感じでした。
乗船中は英語（日本語なし）でハワイの海洋生物の保護、くじらのことなど、アナウンス形式で説明してくれます。くじらは遠目にしか見れませんが、それでも綺麗な海やダイアモンドヘッドが見られたので、コスパは良いほうなのではと思います！

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales, but we were able to enjoy detailed explanations on board. They kindly answered our questions as well.

I am a wheelchair user, but I had no problems using the facilities. There is also a wheelchair-accessible restroom. Please be careful as it can be easy to get seasick when boarding the boat in a wheelchair. You can also purchase drinks and light snacks on board. Since it's an early morning trip, it might be a good idea to eat on the boat. In particular, the orange juice was delicious.

車いすユーザーですが、全く問題なく利用できました。トイレも車いすようトイレがあります。車いすで船に乗ると酔いやすいので気をつけてください。
船内ではドリンクや軽食も購入できました。朝が早いので船内で食べるのも良いかもしれません。とくに、オレンジジュースはおいしかったです。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales. On the boat, we were able to enjoy drinks and light snacks. It's early in the morning, but it might be nice to have breakfast on the boat.

I was worried that I might stall because I had mistakenly put on my seatbelt incorrectly and couldn't accelerate. However, the guide at the back quickly came to my aid, identified the mistake, and helped me reattach it properly, allowing me to drive normally again! The magnificent scenery was breathtaking, and it was a very enjoyable experience!

シートベルトをつけ間違えて、スピードが上がらずエンストしないか心配しながら走行していたら、最後尾のガイドさんがすぐ駆けつけてくれて、つけ間違いが判明、すぐに装着し直して元通り走行できました！壮大な景観に圧巻、とても楽しい体験でした！

This was my second time at Makapu'u. That said, it was quite a while ago, so I challenged myself again after a long time. The weather was nice, and it felt really good. It was a windy day, so my hair ended up looking like Medusa!

実は2回目のマカプウ。とはいえだいぶ前なので久しぶりに挑戦しました。お天気良くてとても気持ちよかったです。風が強い日でしたので髪の毛がメデューサみたいになりました！

I had never experienced such a rainy trip during the rainy season in Hawaii in December. Since the last day was also forecasted to be rainy, I made a last-minute reservation with Veltra the night before.

At the dinner buffet, we were seated near some Japanese guests, which allowed us to take photos and enjoy conversations together. It was amazing to see the hula dance up close during the meal.

Although we didn't have the top-tier tickets for the show venue, we were close to the stage and it was exhilarating! Elvis came right up to us, and we even got to shake hands. Unfortunately, the scarf was given to someone at the next table... Even though we aren't very good at English, we were able to enjoy the stage thoroughly and would love to come back.

It's definitely not a cheap option, but I think it's worth seeing at least once.

12月雨季の中のハワイ旅行、こんなに雨に降られた旅行はありませんでした。
最終日も雨予報だったので、前日夜にveltraさんで急遽予約をして参加しました。

ディナーブュッフェでは、日本人の方を近くに配置していただいたので、お互いに写真を撮ったり会話を楽しんだり出来ました。
食事中には間近でフラダンスを見れ最高でした。

ショー会場も最上ランクのチケットではありませんでしたがステージに近く大興奮！
エルビスが目の前まできてくれ握手もできました。残念ながらスカーフは隣の席の方にプレゼントされましたが…
英語がそんなに得意ではない私たちでも十分楽しめるステージで、またきたいと思いました。
決して安くないオプショナルですが一見の価値はあると思います。

The staff is very friendly, and I felt completely at ease even as a first-timer. You can truly feel the majestic mountain range of Oahu. However, two hours is quite long, and I found myself getting sleepy while riding due to jet lag.

とても親切で初めてでも全く不安なしですよ。壮大なオアフ島の山並みを感じれます。しかし、2時間はさすがに長く、時差ボケ中だと騎乗しながらも眠くなってしまいました。

This time it was a trip with my wife, but during the last company trip, we stayed in Waikiki to participate in the Honolulu Marathon in 2017. We enjoyed the show back then, so I made a reservation to show it to my wife. On the day of the show, we added the buffet, but we were seated at the edge, and since it started to rain a little, we got wet. When I looked towards Sky Waikiki, I saw a big rainbow, and it was a very lucky day.
The show was consistently enjoyable, but I felt that MJ seemed a bit tired and chubby, and his movements lacked sharpness. Haha.

今回妻との旅行でしたが、前回会社の旅行で2017年のホノルルマラソンに参加する為、ワイキキに宿泊。その時に今回のショーを見て楽しかったので、妻に見せたいと思い予約をしました。当日ブュッフェをつけましたが端っこの席で、少し雨が降って来た為、濡れてしまいました。ふとスカイワイキキの方向を見ると大きな虹が見えて、とてもラッキーな日でした。
ショーは安定の楽しさでしたが、MJが少し疲れたのか、ぽっちゃりしていて、動きにキレがなかったように感じました。笑笑

We participated in a 150m parasailing experience with our family of five. We wore swimsuits and brought towels, our phones, $50 for tips, a GoPro, and credit cards in a beach bag. At the reception, we each signed in, and when it was time, we boarded the boat. Before us, the people who finished their experience gave tips at the end, but we handed the captain a tip of $50 at the time of boarding, expecting better service. We calculated $10 per person, totaling $50 for five people. A trio of Chinese passengers who boarded with us also gave some tips. There was a $20 bill labeled as a tip in the driver's seat, so I thought it was a reasonable amount.

The three Chinese passengers experienced it first. They asked me to film with their phone, so my second daughter, who is good at filming, took care of it. We split into two groups of two and three, so we filmed each other. My eldest daughter secured the GoPro to her wrist and filmed her experience as well. During the experience, we stored our belongings and shoes in the storage area under the boat. The captain also took many photos. After the experience, he showed us the photos, and if we liked them, we could purchase them for $40. He sent the data to our smartphones and gave us an SD card. We bought them as a memento of our trip. During the experience, we went up quite high, which was thrilling, but the view from the 360-degree perspective was amazing! We also made the customary landing on the water, getting a little wet, but we ended up not using the towels. Even in January, you can go into the sea, and it was a recommended activity.

家族５人で150ｍのパラセイリングに参加しました。
水着を来て、タオル、携帯、チップ用の50＄、ゴープロ、クレジットカードをビーチバッグに入れて持参しました。受付で各自サインをして、時間になったら乗船。私達の前に体験を終えた方は最後にチップを渡していましたが、私達はより良いサービスを期待して乗船時にキャプテンにチップを渡しました。1人10＄の計算で5人分で50＄渡しました。一緒に乗船した中国人の３人組もいくらかチップを渡していました。運転席の所にチップと書いて20＄挟んであったので、妥当な金額かなと思います。
最初に中国人の３人が体験。携帯で動画の撮影を頼まれたので、撮影の得意な次女が対応しました。私達は2人と3人で分かれて体験したのでお互いに撮影しました。長女はゴープロを手首に固定して体験動画も撮ってました。体験中は荷物と靴を船の下の荷物置きに入れておきます。キャプテンも沢山写真を撮ってくれます。その写真は体験後に見せてくれて、気に入れば４０＄で購入、スマホにデータ送信してくれ、ＳＤカードももらえます。私達は旅の記念に購入しました。体験中は、結構な高さまで上がるのでドキドキしましたが、360度の視界から見渡す景色は最高でした！お決まりの水面への着地もしてくれて、少し濡れましたが、結局タオルは使用しなかったです。1月でも海に入れますし、オススメのアクティビティでした。

On 11/09/2023 I went on this Pearl Harbor tour, and had a full day of education. This was my first time at Pearl Harbor, and I'm so glad I went with Polynesian Adventure Tours. They were on time for pick up, the bus was so comfortable, and the guide clearly enjoyed his job with how much information he shared on Hawaii.

When we arrived to Pearl Harbor we were given a map, that was so helpful! Each section of PH on the map was numbered, that kept me on track of the schedule of the day. Without this map I would have been so lost!

Each museum we were given plenty of time to read all the information, if you are a quick reader you may feel like it's too much time, but I felt like it was the perfect amount of time. My favorite was the submarine!!

Lunch was so yummy, and was a very generous proportion. Was served in the middle of tour which was perfect for giving me energy I needed for the rest of the day. Highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, because there is a lot of walking throughout the day.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a guided tour, and who isn't renting a car while on island.
