Becoming aware early in the morning a boat is needed to go to the beautiful Kane’ohe sandbar, I called Veltra trying to make a same-day kayak booking (online booking must be made a day beforehand). The lady was warm and patient to help check availability and input personal data of four participants - most important of all get 2 tandems confirmed for our trip! When we checked in at He’eia Kea State Park, water in the bay was a bit choppy, yet not enough for a formal cancellation. Two ladies in our group saw the condition creepy and had to abandon the adventure. As on the phone I was informed no cancellation can be made for the same-day booking, we had to forgo using 1 of the 2 double kayaks. Well, the trip of two-go is simply AMAZING!

The free hula show at the beach the day before was impressive, and I was able to enjoy the professional performance until the end. The fire show was truly surprising, and I was very satisfied to see it up close in its authentic setting. I was glad I secured a seat in the front, as the order for going to the buffet varied depending on where you sat. I had just finished my meal before the show started, so I could focus on the performance. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was simple yet diverse, and I was satisfied with the portion size. Thank you very much.

前日にビーチでの無料のフラを観ていたので、さすがプロの方々のショーは違うな～と感心しながら、最後まで楽しむことが出来ました。
ファイアーショーは本当にびっくりで、本場で尚且つ至近距離で観ることが出来て大満足です。
座る場所によって、ブュッフェを取りに行く順番が違うとありましたので、前方席確約にして良かったです。
ショーが始まる前にはちょうど食事が終わっていましたので、ショーに集中することが出来ました。
あまり期待していなかった食事ですが、素朴ですが多彩で、ボリュームもあって満足です。
ありがとうございました。

We were able to share wonderful memories of Hawaii as a family.
The view was amazing!! The staff was fantastic!! Parasailing was the best!!

Although it wasn't overly expensive, the restaurant had a luxurious appearance, and the dishes that were served were thoughtful and delicious.

By the way, the menu included:
Appetizer: Seasonal small chilled soup, salad with papaya from Ka'u, tomato, burrata cheese, and San Daniele prosciutto
Pasta: Pomodoro with ripe tomatoes from Hawaii, served with fresh basil and handmade fettuccine
Main: Grilled prime beef tenderloin with a variety of seasonal vegetables and balsamic sauce
Dessert: Small tiramisu & Italian gelato
Coffee

Each dish was elegantly portioned, but I was more than satisfied.

とっても高いというわけではないのに店構えは高級で、出てくるお料理も気が利いていて、おいしかったです。
ちなみにメニューは、
前菜：季節の小さな冷製スープ、カフク産パパイア、トマト、ブラータチーズ、サンダニエーレ産生ハムのサラダ仕立て
パスタ：ハワイ産完熟トマトのポモドーロ　フレッシュバジルと共に　生パスタフェットチーネ
メイン：プライム牛フィレ肉のグリル　季節の色とりどりのお野菜と共に　バルサミコソース
デザート：小さなティラミス＆イタリアンジェラート
コーヒー
という感じでした。
ひとつひとつは上品な量でしたが、じゅうぶんおなかいっぱいになりました。

**Review**
Due to a mix-up with the shuttle staff, I was left at Kapolei Marketplace for two and a half hours under the guise of a lunch break. Kapolei Marketplace is a rather desolate shopping mall, so there wasn't much to do, and I felt like I wasted a precious opportunity. However, the staff who came to pick me up sincerely apologized, which helped me regain my spirits and participate in the next activity. For those who will be joining in the future, please be mindful of the lunch break time and location, and don't rely solely on the external shuttle staff; make sure to confirm with the park staff as well.

**What I Liked**
The activities were thoroughly enjoyable. The zipline, obstacle course, and buggies were all engaging and didn't feel rushed. The zipline was quite standard, but the obstacle course was lengthy and made me break a sweat, and I was able to ride the buggies for a considerable amount of time.
Additionally, the staff were cheerful and kind. I had previously visited Kualoa Ranch, but the atmosphere here was far superior.

**Advice for Future Participants**
Your clothes and shoes will get quite muddy (especially from the buggies). I recommend wearing washable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

【感想】
　送迎スタッフの手違いでランチ休憩と称してカポレイ・マーケット・プレイスに２時間半放置されてしまいました。カポレイ・マーケット・プレイスは寂れたショッピングモールなので、ほとんどやることがなく、せっかくの時間を無駄にしたな……とは思ったのですが、迎えに来てくれたスタッフがハワイでは珍しく平謝りだったので気を取り直して次のアクティビティに参加しました。これから参加される方はランチ休憩の時間や場所には気を付けて外部の送迎スタッフに任せきりにせず、パークのスタッフにもきっちり確認を取ってくださいね。
【気に入ったところ】
　アクティビティがしっかり楽しめるところです。ジップライン、アスレチック、バギー、いずれもじっくりと楽しむことができ、あっさり終わってしまうということはありません。ジップラインはオーソドックスなものですが、アスレチックはかなり長く、汗だくになりますし、バギーもかなり長時間走ることができました。
　また、スタッフが明るく親切です。以前クアロア牧場に行ったことがあるのですが、あそことは比べものにならないほど良い雰囲気でした。
【これから参加する方へのアドバイス】
　服や靴はかなり泥だらけになります（特にバギー）。汚れても良い洗える服で行くのがおすすめです。

It was my first sunset cruise. There were not many Japanese people, and there was one staff member who spoke Japanese. The meeting point was near the Tropical Bar at the Hilton. There was a reception there, so I mentioned my reservation name, waited for about 10 minutes, took off my shoes, and then boarded the cruise.

Drinks, including alcohol, were all-you-can-drink, and there was food like bread, pasta, and salad! The weather was nice, so we got to see a really beautiful sunset! The staff were kind, and the atmosphere was very lively, typical of America! (laughs) It was quite windy and cold, so it's definitely better to bring a jacket.

初めてのサンセットクルーズでした
日本人はあまり少なく、日本語喋れるスタッフは1人いました。
集合場所がヒルトンのトロピカルバーの横？らへんでしたそこに受付があるので予約の名前を言って、10分くらい待って靴をぬぎクルーズへ入っていく感じでした。

飲み物もアルコールなど飲み放題で食べ物もパンやパスタ、サラダがありました！
天気が良かったので凄く綺麗なサンセットが見れました！
スタッフの方々も優しく、アメリカのテンションマックスでした！笑
風が強いのと寒かったので上着は絶対持ってた方がいいです。

We had a blast at the pool with lots of slides and waves. I was worried about lunch, but it wasn't as crowded as I thought, so we didn't spend too much time on it. The only downside was that several slides were out of order. If it weren't for that, it would have been perfect!

沢山のスライダーに波が出るプールと遊び倒しました。
不安だった昼食も思ったほど、混雑せず時間を取られずに済みました。
残念だったのは、複数のスライダーが故障で稼働していなかったこと。
それがなければ最高だったんですけどね〜。

I'm glad I got to see the ocean in Hawaii! I had the impression that there were many families around, and it might depend on the sea conditions, but I was a bit disappointed that there were fewer fish.

ハワイの海の中を見れてよかったです！
家族連れが多いイメージで、海のコンディションによると思うのですが、魚が少なかったのが少し残念でした。

Since it was my first time, I chose the 90m option, but I regret not going for the 150m.
You can really feel the excitement of being on a southern island, yay!
The staff was very efficient, and before I knew it, I was up in the sky.

スタッフの手際が良く、あれよあれよと言う間に空の上です。

I participated with my wife and two daughters, but it was quite difficult because my wife got drunk. The submarine itself is stable, but the waves while transferring from the shuttle boat to the submarine are quite intense. If you're not confident on boats, it's better to take motion sickness medication just in case. As for the tour, we were able to see sea turtles this time, and the kids were thrilled. What you can see depends on luck, though.

妻と娘二人で参加しましたが、妻が酔ってしまい大変でした。
潜水艦自体は安定しているんですが、送迎線から潜水艦に乗り移る間が水面のうねりが凄いです。
船に自信がある方以外は、念のため酔い止めを飲んで挑んだ方が良いです。
肝心のツアーですが、今回はウミガメも見れて子供達は大喜びでした。
何が見れるかは、運次第ですが。

Hanauma Bay has limited parking, likely due to its focus on preserving nature, and there tends to be traffic before entry because you must watch a video beforehand. However, if you join this tour, you can enter smoothly like with a fast pass.

For snorkeling, it was our family's first time, but the practice made us feel safe and we enjoyed it. Most importantly, we were guided to the best spots to see fish, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sea, including a surprise greeting from an eel.

The transportation was also great, with a cheerful guide who spoke fluent Japanese, providing sightseeing information and recommendations for delicious places, making for a fun and engaging time. I was initially unsure about joining a guided tour, but I definitely recommend it.

Additionally, after participating, you can get commemorative photos taken underwater, which you can upload to social media, making it a truly comprehensive experience with excellent cost performance.

ハナウマ湾は、自然を守る利用からなのでしょうか駐車場が少ない、事前のビデオを見なくてはならないとの理由からどこでも入場前には渋滞しています。
このツアーで参加をするとすべてファストパスのようにすんなり入場できます。
シュノケリングの方は、私達家族は初めてでしたが練習もあり安心して楽しめました。
何より魚が見えるベストな場所に誘導してもらえるのでたくさんのさかなや、突然のウツボの挨拶など綺麗な海を充分に堪能できました。
送迎も、日本語が流暢な外人の陽気なガイドさんが観光案内や美味しいお店の紹介も交えて対応してくれるので、飽きることなく楽しい時間を過ごせます。
はじめはガイド付きツアーで参加するのか迷いましたが絶対にオススメだと思います。
あと、参加後には、海中での記念撮影なども
SNSにアップしてもらえるので本当に至れりつくせりでコスパも最高でした。

It's a famous restaurant featured in every magazine. Every dish that came out was delicious! The wine was also great. It's a place I definitely want to visit again.

どの雑誌にも出てくる名店です。出てくる料理、すべて美味しかった！ワインもすすみました。また行きたいと思えるお店です。

On the day of departure, I was surprised to receive an email saying, "Please change the time."

The person in charge responded sincerely, and I have no complaints about that, but I don't understand why there was a change. I felt inconvenienced by having to frequently check emails on-site and communicate regarding the schedule (like the pickup) on the day of the event.

I hope you will work to prevent this from happening again, and it would be helpful if, in the event of a change, we could resolve it with just one or two email exchanges.

とのメールが来てびっくりしました。

担当の方は、誠実に対応してくださり、不満はないのですが、
なぜ変更なのか分からず、当日のスケジュール(ピックアップなど)の問い合わせに、頻繁に現地でメールチェックし、やり取りをしなければならない等、煩わしさを感じた事は否めません。

二度とこのような事がないよう、再発防止に努めて頂きたいのと、
変更があった場合、一往復程度のメールやり取りで済むようにしていただけると助かります。

I was disappointed to find that about three attractions were not operational. Because of that, the attractions that were open had long lines, and I couldn't enjoy myself enough. There was no information or apology regarding this situation, which was quite unbelievable. It may be common in America, but to be honest, it doesn't match the price. I cannot recommend it at all.

動いていない施設が3つくらいあってガッカリでした。そのせいか動いてる施設も行列が長くて十分遊べませんでした。そのことについて案内もなければ、謝罪も無くて、ちょっと信じられない感じです。アメリカでは当たり前かもしれませんが、ハッキリ言って料金に見合わないです。とてもお勧めできません。

Very hospitable crew of 3 with a great sense of humor took us on a great evening cruise with exceptionally large waves and actually put up a sail! Loved the crew, the other passengers who were interesting, and the wonderful food from local caterer. Be prepared to leave your shoes on the dock and for some water spray and wind, but also for a great sail.

The location has only a small sign, so I think most people will miss it. Even if you ask at the front desk, they might respond with "What is that?" as none of the other staff seem to know about it either. The show itself was average and felt like just another Hawaiian show that you could see somewhere else. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

場所は小さな看板しか無くまず殆どの人が見逃すと思います。フロントで場所を聞いても、それって何？と言うか他のスタッフも皆さん知らないあり様です。ショー自体も普通で何処かで見ショー内容と言うかほぼ同じハワイアンショーですね。残念ですが次は無いです。

My first time paragliding! I usually don't have good experiences with activities, but this time I was completely satisfied! The timing was smooth from the hotel, so I didn't feel stressed and was able to unwind.

生まれて初めてのパラセーリング、毎回アクテビティでいい思いがなく終わっていたが今回はすべて満足‼️時間もホテルから出て円滑に進んだのでストレスも溜まらず発散出来ました

This was cool, but they advertise alot on their Instagram with pictures of feet hanging out of the Helicopter, but they do not allow those kind of pictures at all.
I highly advice atleast a sweater and long pants since it does get cold

We participated as a family of five, and at first, we were anxious because we couldn't speak English. However, our group consisted entirely of Japanese people, so we had one male staff member who could speak some Japanese, along with one male staff member and one female staff member who spoke only English. All the staff were cheerful and polite, and we enjoyed ziplining while feeling the pleasant breeze in the great outdoors. The price is somewhat high, but I believe it's necessary to operate on such a scale. I'm sure you will feel satisfied.

家族5名で参加し英語が話せないので最初は不安でしたが私達のグループは全員日本人だったので多少日本語ができる男性スタッフ1名と、英語のみ話す男性1名、女性1名のスタッフがついてくださいました。どのスタッフも明るく丁寧に接して下さり、大自然の中で気持ちの良い風を感じながらのジップラインでした。お値段は多少かかりますがこれだけの規模を運営する上では必要だと思いました。きっと満足感は得られると思います。

The children were scared at first, but they quickly became excited and had fun. Since we took motion sickness medication beforehand, there was no seasickness. I would like to do it again.

子供達も最初は怖がっていましたが、すぐに楽しくなり興奮していました。事前に酔い止め薬を服用していたので船酔いもなかったです。またやってみたいです。

You have plenty of time on the submarine to fully enjoy the scenery underwater. I was able to see sharks and sea turtles! (Maybe I was just lucky.) The elementary school children also seemed to have fun looking for fish. The boat before switching to the submarine swayed quite a bit, so I noticed a few people feeling seasick before the main event. I recommend taking motion sickness precautions for those who are not confident on boats.

潜水艦に乗っている時間はたっぷりあり、海の中の景色を十分楽しめます。鮫やウミガメも見れました！（運が良かったのかも。）小学生の子どもたちも魚を探したり楽しそうでした。潜水艦に乗り換える前の船が結構揺れるので、メインイベントの前に船酔いしている人もちらほら見かけました。船に自信のない人は酔い止め対策をおすすめします。

I flew with my two children. They were thrilled to be flying higher than the birds. They said they definitely want to do it again when we come back to Hawaii.

子供と三人で飛びました。鳥より高い位置で飛べたことに、子供が感激していました。またハワイに来たら絶対やりたいと言っていました。

Since I always played golf, I decided to try surfing for the first time while in Hawaii. When I went to the surf shop offering lessons, there was quite a crowd waiting, which was encouraging. It was a semi-private lesson, but I felt there wasn't much difference from a group lesson. The timing for paddling with the waves was entirely up to the coach. Since I was on a longboard, I was able to stand up right from the start, which was fun. However, paddling out to the ocean was tough, and that was quite challenging. I'm excited that there are more options in Hawaii to enjoy in the future.

いつもゴルフばかりだったので、せっかくのハワイなのだからと、はじめてサーフィンに挑戦しました。
催行しているサーフショップに行くと、かなりの人数が待っていて盛況。セミプライベートレッスンでしたが、グループレッスンでもさほど違いはないように思います。
波に背にしてパドリングするタイミングは全てコーチ任せ。ロングボードなので、初めから立つことができて楽しかったです。ただ、沖に向かってのパドリングは辛くて、これだけは大変でした。
ハワイの選択肢が増えてこれからも楽しみです。

I had a wonderful experience thanks to Maki, and I was able to spend a very enjoyable and valuable time. I was a bit anxious about seeing dolphins on the way there, but that anxiety turned out to be completely unfounded. I was able to swim with dolphins in the beautiful blue sea! It was truly a dreamlike and moving moment to swim so close to them. And to my surprise, I encountered many sea turtles as well. On the way back, I had a great time dancing hula to the ukulele on the boat until the very end. It really became a wonderful memory!

マキさんに素晴らしいアテンドをいただき、とても楽しく貴重な時間を過ごすことができました。行きの船上ではイルカに逢えるか少し不安になりましたが、そんな不安も全く嘘のよう。バッチリ！青い海でイルカと一緒に泳ぐことが出来ました。あんなに近くでイルカと一緒に泳げるなんて、まさに夢と感動の一時でした。そして、何とウミガメにもたくさん出会えるではないですか。帰りは船上でウクレレに合わせてフラダンスを踊りながら最後の最後まで楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。本当に素敵な思い出になりました！

We participated as a family of four. The silence at 150 meters above ground was very pleasant. Even those who were hesitant to join said it was amazing! They were very satisfied and glad they did it.

参加を躊躇していた者も最高！やって良かったと大変満足してました。

At first, my daughter, who could only swim a little, was frozen in fear when asked if she could swim. Moreover, since we had to jump in, it was quite tough for small children.

As soon as we entered the sea, we saw a pod of dolphins. It was challenging to swim while holding my daughter, but we were able to see them up close, which was moving. My daughter also forgot her fear and was amazed. The sea was very beautiful, and we even encountered a turtle.

On the way back, we encountered a whale! We were able to see it jump as well. We spent an emotional time, having multiple encounters. We also saw sea turtles from the boat several times.

I hope to participate again when my daughter is a little older.

最初は泳げるか確認され、クロール程度しか泳げない娘は恐怖で固まってしまいました。しかも、飛び込んでという流れなので、小さい子には結構厳しいです。
海に入るとすぐにイルカの群れが見れました。娘を抱えて泳ぎながらの厳しい条件ではありましたが、すぐ近くで見られて感動しました。娘も怖さを忘れて感動していました。海はとてもきれいで、カメにも会えました。
帰りの船ではクジラにも遭遇！ジャンプも見れました。何度も会うことが出来て、感動しっぱなしの時間をすごしました。ウミガメも何度も船上から見られました。
娘がもう少し大きくなったら、また参加したいなと思います。

I participated in this tour for the first time in seven years. The members were the same as seven years ago, so it was fun to see people who had changed in appearance and those who hadn’t changed at all.

Now, the guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese, and during the car ride, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. Even there, the explanations were in English, and just when I was wondering about it, he finally explained in Japanese, which relieved my whole family.

At the local boat, they provided proper assistance in Japanese. What was wonderful was that we had about an hour for sandbar, turtle watching, and snorkeling, so even my wife, who can't swim, had a great time snorkeling with a life jacket and float. Perhaps we looked like we were having too much fun, as my parents in their 70s decided to try snorkeling for the first time! However, they needed help right away ( ;∀; ). They said they were still okay, but I think it was a nice decision to get assistance.

For lunch, we had hamburgers, which were very delicious, and I wanted a second helping. Also, the crew here was very cheerful and lifted our spirits with their "Aloha!" greetings. The guide who picked us up in the morning played the guitar and sang during lunchtime, which seemed to be part of his job. Overall, it was a great experience. I would like to participate again when my daughter is able to snorkel.

このツアーに７年ぶりに参加しました。
メンバーも７年前と変わらないメンバーでしたので、見た目が変わった人やまったく変わらない人など楽しかったです。
さて、今回も朝迎えに来たガイドさんが、あやしい日本語、車内では、英語で全部説明、何の注意点もなく、現地へ到着しました。現地でも英語での説明で、あれ？と思っていたところ、やっと日本語で説明して頂いたので、家族全員ほっと一安心。
現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。今回あまりに私たち夫婦が楽しそうにみえたのか？、７０代の両親がシュノーケリングに初挑戦！！したところ・・・すぐにヘルプで助けられました( ;∀;)
本人曰くまだまだ大丈夫だったはずと言っていますが、やっぱり助けて頂いたのはナイス判断だったと思います。
ランチは、ハンバーガーでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした。全体的にとても良かったです。娘がシュノーケリングできるようになったらまた参加したいと思いました。

Motion sickness medication is a must. The view from the boat is great, and riding in the submarine is fun, but there weren't many fish on the seabed... I thought they had artificially created a fishing ground on the sandy bottom. It's a 45-minute experience of watching the little fish gather there. Since it takes about three hours, please weigh it against other events you want to do before deciding to participate!

酔い止めは必須です。船からの眺めは良いし、潜水艦に乗るのも楽しいのですが、海底に魚は…あまりいませんでした。
もともと砂地に人工的に魚場を作ったんだなと思いました。そこに集まる小さなお魚達を見つめる45分です。
時間は３時間ほど取られるので、他にやりたいイベントと天秤かけて参加を決めて下さいね！
