This was one of the best dinner cruises I've ever attended. The food was scrumptious and the entertainment was exhilarating. Also, we had one of the most professional and friendliest waitress. I can't forget to say the sunset was breathtaking.

We did the 9am 1-hour horseback. This tour is a trail ride meant for beginners - which was perfect for me! Don't forget to wear long pants and wear closed-toed shoes. There isn't much shade on the trail so wear plenty of sunscreen and wear sunglasses.

If you do the ATV at Gunstock Ranch too, try to do the tours back-to-back. This tour booked out a few weeks in advance and I wasn't able to do the tours back-to-back. We did the 9am horseback, had some time to grab lunch in Haleiwa, then came back to the ranch for our 2pm ATV tour. If you do this, make sure you leave with plenty of time to allow for traffic. Traffic on the North Shore can be unpredictable and you can be caught in bumper to bumper traffic which might make you late for the tour.

We did the 2pm ATV tour. The ATV is covered so you'll be in the shade for the drive. Gorgeous ranch! Just a reminder, this is a guided ATV tour. As in, the GUIDE will drive the ATV (not you!).

We loved Ryan, our guide! She was funny, knowledgeable and had the best spirit! We were covered in dirt from head to toe but loved every minute of it! The lunch was great and the view was beautiful. Loved the ranch!

There were 10 of us that had the opportunity to enjoy a fancy dinner on the waters off of Ohau. The age range of our party were from 2-72.

From the time we arrived and checked in we were treated courteously and made to feel welcomed! The music and dancing while we waited made the experience more exciting for my nephews (2,4, & 8 years old) and for my Brother and wife who have never been to Hawaii before. Once onboard we were greeted by the captain of the boat which thrilled them silly and kept my sister in law busy trying to get them to their seats.

We had the best waitress for our table! we always had something to drink and when we were undecided she was able to suggest drinks for the adults and kids. When the boys were unsure with dinner, our waitress brought more cheese and fruit. We never had to look for her she just knew and was always available.

We all enjoyed the dancing and even were invited to join in. My nephews danced their hearts out, along with my mom (the 72 year old) and my sister. The views from the top deck were specular and we got some great family pictures.
Defiantly an event we will remember!

The tour through the back country of the working ranch was fun, our guide Emily did a great job. It’s not a fast paced tour but a wild and bumpy ride across the ranch. The sunset dinner was cool for the family. It was private on the top of a hill with a delicious dinner and s’mores. Worth it in my opinion. Weather was good shorts and no jackets. But they did say it rains sometimes. Just not the day we went.

We had the best time on this ATV tour. Our tour guide, Makai, was friendly and made the time extremely enjoyable. Private and had the most beautiful views, they also give you opportunities for photo opportunities. The ranch has many different terrains and cows that you are able to feed.
Highly recommended!!

Absolutely incredible experience. My gf, dad and I all did the UTV tour at sunset....the girls were so awesome and fun throughout the whole tour. Incredible piece of land and we were all so stoked coming out of the trip.

It was indeed an outstanding experience doing this sunset dinner cruise with Star of Honolulu. We super enjoyed the 5-course dinner, the overflowing cocktails, the champagne and most of all the live music and cultural dances. You even made the journey more easy with your smooth pick up and drop off. All the staff were great as well! Special mention to Manager Rose for an excellent service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be booking with you again when we come back. Aloha and Mahalo❤️

Ulike what the description read, there was no in the water. Also, at the end of the ride, we were not allowed to gallop with the horses. Granted, only 1 of us would be considered an advanced rider, but we picked this one solely because of those 2 factors. Very expensive for nothing more than a " Trail Ride " , that basically was along a portion of the beach that has very little public access. If you have never done anything like this before, it would probably make some great memories for you. I however have had Much Better Sunset Beach rides, that I still talk about to this day, this one on the other hand, wont be talked about gery much. Do your research, call ahead & ask questions before you book. Most times, it is the 1 & only shot at a first time, lasting memory

My family had a lot of fun doing this. Our guide was super friendly and made us feel comfortable riding for the first time.

You learn about the ranch and the island. Our guide Ali was awesome, and you get to see more of the ranch than horseback riding gives you. I definitely recommend if you like a little adventure.

The overall tour was very interesting including the history of the ranch and what we saw on the way. Our tour guide Paige was great, she was very enthusiastic with a cute perky attitude. Would go again if she was doing the tour!

I was skeptical at the beginning but going to the cruise was a great decision. I don’t regret it. Entertainment was great and the food was awesome. Beautiful view. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Hawaii for vacation

The tour guides are absolutely kind and they showed us how to ride a horse. We were so nervous because it was our first time. Definitely come check them out !! We stayed in Waikiki and it’s nice to go to the north shore where it’s less crowded and more peaceful.

The cruise itself, staff and entire experience was wonderful and the views were breathtaking at sunset.
Service and dancers were outstanding and enjoyable to watch. Food was not all that great but otherwise a great time and worth the expense to experience it. I would definitely recommend to anyone to do this dinner cruise but do not have high expectations with the food.

Best ATV tour ever!! Ali, our guide, was amazing! Killer driving skills. She made sure we had an awesome experience and she truly delivered. Very pleased and will definitely book again when we come back.

Nikki was awesome! Honestly, without her knowledge and energy I’m sure the tour would not have been as interesting! This is a 1,000 acre ‘farm’ how interesting can it be? Request for Nikki!

It is definitely better to rent a car and drive to the location and not take the bus lol.
The horseback riding experience was awesome. The staff was great and the trail was beautiful. It was peaceful and the horses were amazing. I highly recommend it.

It was really a great experience, regardless of the rain. HoHo was my horse— described as the Regina George of the group! The staff were friendly. Wish there was a way to communicate with our leader, Cassie a bit better while on the trail. It would be nice to have stopped in one more place for pictures and if the spot we do stop at could have a block so people could get off, that would be cool! It would also be cool to learn a little about the plants we see, the area we are in, more information about POLO too.
The pace was good although a little instruction on how to sit in the seat (where to tighten to lessen the inside leg pain) would be helpful too.
I did not see and was not ensured of a method for cleaning the helmets. Maybe offering some kind of bandana for customers to buy so people who are weary of lice or anything can feel more comfortable.
We really learned the meaning of learning how to ride “it”.

I had a great time horseback riding. The scenery was beautiful, and they took photos for me. (I received them later via airdrop.) Riding alone for about an hour since I was 8 years old is something I can't do in Japan, so it was a wonderful experience.

It was a gorgeous view of the ranch. Our tour guides Dean and Kayla were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience for our entire family. The lunch was hearty and even filled up our big eaters!! Well done, we will certainly recommend this to travelers.

First time horseback riding and I can honestly say we had a wonderful experience. They made sure to have a safety demo in the beginning prior to jumping on to be sure everyone was safe and comfortable enough to ride. Nice peaceful scenery and the breeze off of the ocean made the horseback riding extremely relaxing. Towards the end of the tour, we also stopped to take some pics on the beach with the horses!! Our tour guide Becca was the BEST! Definitely will go back and make sure to request her as our tour guide again.

Ten of us participated, ranging from my 5-year-old grandchild to 60 years old.

In Japan, where safety is a top priority, my 5-year-old grandchild was probably not allowed to ride a horse alone, but here, they were able to ride by themselves and were very satisfied!

We enjoyed horseback riding at our own levels, just relaxing as a family on the ranch.

Of course, communication was a challenge since Japanese was not spoken, but it was a refreshing experience for the grandchildren, which was great.
