The crew was friendly and helpful. Safety was clearly outlined. We saw lots of fish and two turtles. The kids (Ages 13 and 16) enjoyed jumping from the second deck, the water slide and the SUP boards. Would recommend for families with kids.

We got out to snorkel area and it was so shallow I thought I was going to hit the coral. I only seen brown coral and literally no fish. We left early.

My wife and I did the full 8 hour day. We had a blast exploring the bay through snorkeling and kayaking. The staff on sight was helpful and efficient. It was a very enjoyable day overall. The only issue we ran into was knowing which reef was which. They provided a map which was very helpful and pointed out various landmarks to look for. We would definitely do this again.

We had a great time on secret island. We were running late for our scheduled time and they allowed us to reschedule. We felt it was cost effective since we had access to chairs, stand up paddle boards, and Kayaks. Overall, we would recommend.

Not enough equipment to use. Hard to wait in line which does not give you enough time to enjoy the activities.

My family and I had a wonderful time kayaking to the Kaneohe Sandbar. We would love to do this again in the near future!

This was an amazing experience for our girls trip. If you are looking for fun activities that are self guided this is the tour for you. We did the snorkeling and paddle boarding both were extremely fun and we had plenty of time to do both. The price was great and included everything we needed. We got to see 2/3 of Oahu, which was beautiful. Our tour guide was Sam he was helpful and funny. Would recommend this tour/activity day to anyone!!

when we went to check-in, they told us to wait for 2 hours because it's too windy. Our check-in time was at 8am and we had to wait until 10:30am. I would absolutely not recommend going in the morning because this side of island is very windy, rainy, and weather cannot be expected at all. Weather app tells you it won't rain but it spontaneously rains, especially in the morning. Also, water doesn't get high enough to kayak or snorkel in the morning often because of this. I don't even understand why they even have morning session to book tho. They totally could've sent us an email in the morning before we arrive, so that we don't have to wait there doing nothing for 2 hours, which was very unfortunate. Anyway, we waited and did kayaking and self-snorkeling, which I also hoped there was an instructor leading the kayaking or snorkeling but wasn't. everything was verbally told and self-learning. (kayak rental staff/instructor was extremely kind, I really liked him. nothing was his fault, it was just more the system how they work was not the best.) They did not recommend to go to sandbar, in fact they say going to sandbar is advanced and do not recommend for first time kayaking people. Then why do they even have it on their activity title? you expect fun kayaking to kaneohe sandbar and beautiful snorkeling, but in reality, we did not get to go to kaneohe sandbar, only coral reefs. overall, I don't regret doing this activity, just wish it was better. Also, 4 hour renting is way enough. we only did about an hour and half and was able to go both reefs and snorkel there. Giving 4 stars only because we went there for our honeymoon activity and it was fun between two of us no matter what, but if not, I wouldn't be much happy and fun with it tho.

The staff was friendly and gave clear instructions. We had a great time as family. At the beginning we were afraid since it was our first time; however, we managed to get to the sand bar. While in the water, we found another person who was very nice to help us get there. Thanks so much!

5 adults and 1 5 year old. Only one person with experience on the water via dragon boating.

Becky checked us in and let us know the water conditions weren’t good for beginners at 8am, we had to pass the time for 90 minutes but it made it worth it.

Joey helped set us up with pfds and the kayaks and answered all of our questions. We had a ton of questions. Joey was awesome.

We had a 4 hour block but we called it a day after 2 hours on the water, we saw some turtles, inconspicuous sea cucumbers and a lot of reefs.

We brought our own dry bags but you can rent from them as well. You can also rent snorkeling equipment.

We rented a double sea kayak for a paddling adventure across Kaneohe Bay. In about 3 hours we enjoyed snorkeling on the reef and playing around on the sandbar. Was about 4 miles paddling total, but definitely worth it.

Highly recommend! Was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Definitely get an anchor!!

Absolutely beautiful sandbar! Though we were too tired after going there and back, and could not go snorkeling at the other coral sites. Saw a sea turtle really up close at the sandbar and we were amazed. The sandbar was gorgeous and looked like paradise on earth.

Our first experience was so fun that my husband and I went for seconds end of our trip in Oahu.

The crew was amazing but we did not see a single fish. The water was not clear, I could not even see people next to me. It was just swimming tour. That’s all. If you want to see snorkeling and see fishes, I suggest do either submarine or go the north shore to Shark’s Cove.

This was fun. Not to hard to get out to the sandbar and the scenery is amazing. For someone that has never kayaked before this was a great first time. My group agreed that we would do this activity again.

I paid 93 for the snorkeling thinking it be something to remember.. but the only thing I’ll remember it the waist of money it was my whole family paid and it was a waist. Its a free for all you get trampled and just sucks in all honesty the people are nice and we meet some nice people on the boat but they sell you this amazing experience and its not, you cant see anything at all, if you want to paddle board or go down the slide even kayak this is the place for you but don't do it for the snorkeling it be a waist of money like it was for us … hope this helps another person not make the same mistake we did . It says turtle in the title of what this excursion is. It says snorkeling in the title as well. All this was about was taking a bunch of water toys in the middle of the ocean and playing on them. While we were out there, I asked if we were going somewhere else to see the turtles and was told this is nature. Sometimes you see them , sometimes you won’t. Again, this was not about seeing sea turtles and the title needs to be changed. We paid $150 person to jump off side of boat, jump on trampoline, kayak/paddle board and TRY to snorkel in the middle of all this chaos. Tell it like it is and don’t be devious in the title. The crew was the only reason we have 3 stars and tipped on top of what we already paid. They were very nice. But this isn’t what it says it is. Don’t be fooled.

From booking this experience to actual having the experience was AWESOME! Whether you're a beginner or a pro kayaker this is a super majestic and beautiful area to experience kayaking. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area & scenic snorkel spots to paddle too. All the snorkel equipment is included in the rental. I recommend this place highly.

First time taking the Surf Bus. Driver was on time. He was knowledgeable. Didn't like his attitude at first because he had a way of making you feel foolish but at the end, he turned out to be a nice guide. My family and I did the waterfall hike and kayaking. The waterfall hike was timed for three hours. It was a beautiful hike through Waimea Valley seeing tropical plants and birds. To my surprise, the waterfall was smaller than I thought. There were too many people swimming already and it was only 10am. My kids did not want to swim because of the amount of people in the water. Even after the hike, and the waterfall and even ate lunch at the cafe, three hours was too much. It could've been spent doing other activities. We went kayaking in the afternoon. My family enjoyed that even though we didn't see any turtles. We were disappointed that we couldn't walk to town and get shaved ice because the line was too long. All in all, my family had a decent time.

Our family of 4 (two adults and two kids (ages 5 and 8) really enjoyed this half day adventure. The crew was friendly, the boats and gear were clean, and the paddle and snorkle were fun.

I think this rental may be great if someone in your party is familiar with kayaking in Kaneohe Bay, because a guide does not go out with you. Also, we were snorkeling in one of the spots designated on the map we were given and swam right into a group of Portuguese Man 'O War just past the reef. We were stung pretty badly and had to cut our excursion short. We weren't warned about this in advance and saw other folks going out to potentially the same location without warning.

This trip was great! Lots of activities & plenty of time in the water! Big slide & platform jumping were the best! Also trampoline, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling ... all so much fun as advertised!

First time kayaking in Hawaii, the staffs were friendly. My boyfriend and I had a great time kayaking towards the sand bar, it was beautiful!

We thought we were booking a turtle snorkel it turns out it was a water sports trip. The boat is in terrible condition. Needs maintenance. When we got to where we we’re going it was a free for all. No coordination. They immediately launched kayaks, paddle boards and a floating trampoline from the stern. At the same time they lowered a water slid from the bow. They made no effort to separate the snorkelers from the kayaks and paddle boards. We wanted to snorkel, but after getting hit in the head 4 times by kayaks and paddle boards we exited the water and waited to return to the harbor. We personally observed several snorkelers get landed upon by people using the water slide. When we went to leave they did not do a head count to make sure everyone was back on board. We have scuba dived and snorkeled from Morea, Guam, Bahamas and Cayman Islands, and we never experienced a trip where they combined water sports such as these with snorkelers. Very dangerous.

We had a blast! Our guide was so funny and nice! Enjoyed our time together!

This was so much fun! We got to see part of the island. I got to SUP for the first time. Learned a lot while on the bus. The driver was telling us about the scenery and where certain movies were filmed.

Was windy but still pushed on through and made it to the sandbar. Awesome adventure and very beautiful. The water was super clear. Saw corals, and the beautiful scenery which opened my eyes to the wonders of Hawaii!
