I used this during my honeymoon. Some of the staff communicated with me in Japanese and provided explanations in Japanese, which was very kind of them. The continuous music created a wonderful atmosphere as well.

Regarding what to bring... For the bus transfer, it was fine to go in my swimsuit, but it's better to have something to change into for the return trip. A towel would also be great. If you're wet, the bus seats will get wet, and more importantly, the air conditioning is quite strong, so it can get really cold.

The cruise ship was large, with many tables arranged inside and a small stage as well. We were guided to our seats by the staff. While we were on our way to the sandbar, we enjoyed lovely music played with a ukulele, guitar, and singing.

The water level at the sandbar changes with the tides, so if you have the time, it might be a good idea to check the tide conditions in advance. We signed up at the last minute, so we didn’t check beforehand, but on the morning of our visit, the water level was about waist-deep. In some areas, it was deep enough to reach shoulder height, but even so, the clear water was beautifully colored and truly stunning.

You can freely enjoy SUP, kayaking, and snorkeling. However, there are a limited number of SUPs and kayaks, so if others are using them and they are not available, you may have to wait. We tried SUP for the first time, and it was a bit difficult to balance, and with the ocean current, it was quite challenging to go in the direction we intended. But it was a lot of fun.

One thing to be careful about is the red buoys, which indicate where you should not go beyond. If you get too close, we were told to sit down and paddle back on the SUP or to get out and walk back if you were in a kayak.

For snorkeling, we swam in an area with coral reefs, and since the water was shallow, we were able to see the fish up close. They were so beautiful that we could have watched them for a long time.

The lounge floating on the sea was also a photogenic spot. At the sandbar, you can spend your time freely until it's time to go, so when we got cold, we returned to the ship to wrap ourselves in towels and enjoyed some orange juice and donuts.

There was one men's restroom and two women's restrooms on board, which was convenient. All the staff members were bright, cheerful, and wonderful people. There was also one Japanese staff member, so I think you don’t have to worry if you're anxious about your English.

On the way back, we left the sandbar while listening to music and returned to the port. It became a very lovely memory. We had so much fun. Thank you, everyone!

SUPやカヤック、シュノーケリングは自由にすることができます。SUPとカヤックに関しては個数が限られているので、他の方が使っていてその場にない場合は待たないといけないと思います。私たちは初めてSUPに挑戦しましたが、バランスを取るのが少し難しく、海水の流れもあるので思った方向に進むのがなかなか難しかったです。でもとても楽しかったです。
注意しなければならないのは、赤いブイがあるので、その先には行かないということです。そこの近くまで行ってしまったら、SUPでは座って戻ったり、カヤックの場合は降りて歩いて戻ったりするように言われました。
シュノーケリングでは、珊瑚礁がある場所で泳ぎましたが、こちらも水深が浅いので、近くで魚たちを見ることができました。とてもきれいで、ずっと見ていられるくらいでした。
海に浮かぶラウンジもフォトジェニックな場所でした。
サンドバーでは時間まで自由に過ごすことができるので、体が冷えたら船内に戻ってタオルにくるまったり、オレンジジュースやドーナツをいただいたりしました。
船内に男子トイレは1つ、女子トイレは2つあったので、トイレに行けるのもよかったです。
スタッフのみなさんが明るく陽気で素敵な方ばかりでした。また、日本人のスタッフさんも1人いらっしゃったので、英語に不安があっても心配いらないと思います。
帰りも音楽を聞きながらサンドバーをあとにし、港へ戻りました。
とても素敵な思い出になりました。すごく楽しかったです。みなさん、ありがとうございました。

We had such a unique experience going to the SandBar. It was like having our own little beach area. They provided lunch in our package. Live music was played during our boat ride there and back. They provided kayaks, paddle boards, life vests and snorkel gear. They were a fun crew and i can tell they enjoy working together. They were eager to help teach about Hawaiian culture and boat safety. It was one of the trip highlights and i would highly recommend to anyone to do it. Just be mindful of the tide as certain times the tide can be very high to your chest or low to your knees.

I thought we were going to an island, but it turned out to be a shallow area in the sea. It was a very mysterious place where you can enjoy various marine sports, and they teach you how to do them and how to ride, so it's reassuring. The donuts were delicious, and it was perfect!

日本の大手ツアー会社と提携している同様のツアーが満員で予約できなかったためこちらで予約しました。
結果的に大満足でした！船は大きくてトイレや更衣室もあり、ドーナツや飲み物のサービスも嬉しかった。天気があまり良くなく、水位も高かったのですが、十分に楽しめました。海に浮かぶラウンジも思ったよりのんびり出来て良かった。バナナボートは想像以上のスピードで何度か落ちそうになりながらも後ろの知らない人が支えてくれたりしてアットホームな雰囲気でした。行き帰りのハワイアンミュージックの生演奏がとにかくいいです。上手だし、ノリノリの外国の方がいてさらに盛り上がりました。こっそり置いてあるあったかい紅茶のサービスも冷えた体には助かりました。

It was the highlight of my vacation!

I can’t believe it took this long for me to try this excursion. It is an activity I will add to every visit to Oahu. The experience and view is like no other. I was a little worried because I have a younger child (11 yrs old) and we have been kayaking in the past but it only took us 35 minutes to get to the sandbar. Once the rust shook off we were able to get back in 25 minutes. The people on-site were very helpful and supportive. They made sure you had everything you need snorkel equipment, life vests, and dry bags. I would suggest the eight hour if you plan to snorkel at another location outside of the sandbar. That way you can conserve your energy for paddling back.

Highlight of the family trip

Beautiful scenery, super kind staff, wonderful music. Tried kayak, snorkel and it was so fun. Water was so clear, I could see fish so close it was beautiful. Only thing is the time could be longer. We got to the sandbar about 9:30 and left around 12pm. I wish I could have more time so I could try other activities like volleyball and paddle board. The boat was full with over 100 people but didn’t feel like it was packed. Especially when we got to the sandbar, people were more spread out. Overall, the tour was way better than expected and definitely want to do it again!! Thank you!

Fun kayak ride in a beautiful state park

Authentic experience in a state park! All the staffs were attentive and kind, gave us a good explanation and took care of us. It’s refreshing to find non-commercial experience in a very touristic island. We very much enjoyed our kayak ride.
We visite parts where we could snorkel to swim with turtles and went to sandbar to swim in a picturesque water.

My daughter Crystal and I went to the Kaneohe sandbar on July 26. Although it started with a little rain, it didn't damper (pun intended, lol) our adventure. We were greeted by a great team on board the catamaran. Especially Jesse, such a wonderful guy. He and another band member sang and played great music to and from the sandbar. Everyone were such fun and really made us feel special. We celebrated Crystal's birthday. We even were surprised with a private tender boat ride to go see a beautiful sea turtle very close to our boat. So fantastic! Thank you all for a unforgettable day.

Luna, Alex, Evan and Capt. Eric (All the crew) were terrific, super friendly and overall helpful. It was such a enjoyable, fun, memorable experience especially if you are booking this with kids. The only thing is to make sure that you bring snacks or food aboard which they inform you about on their instructions as they only provide light snacks (protein bars, water, and lemonade)

Lastly, it can get really crowded on the boat. And so, check in as early as possible to secure your spot inside the boat especially if you are traveling with your family.

The excursion was the perfect way to spend my birthday! It was very well organized from the pick-up all the way at to drop off! The music onboard was so enjoyable and had lots of people singing along!!!!!! At the sandbar there was soooooo much to do!! We tried it all and even learned how to paddle board!! Staff were all amazing and willing to lend a hand and making sure we were all safe!!! This was our favourite thing we did on our whole trip and wished it lasted longer!!!

North Shore Clear Bottom Kayak Tour & Turtle Watch from Haleiwa Beach

We did one of the glass bottom kayak tours while in Oahu and had a great time. Hunter and Ramsey were our guides and were amazing! Our group had some younger children, and the guides made sure everyone had fun and was able to stay together. I would highly recommend this!

This was such a blast! My daughter and I rented a tandem canoe and spent a glorious day around the reef fields. We would come up on a drop off, drop anchor in a shallow area and then just turn on the GoPro and swim down the reef wall with the schools of fish as our guides. Many different species of fish, a few octopus, and sea snakes. We could also hear the “crackling” of the coral (which sounds like Rice Krispies in milk), which was something you can’t appreciate when you’re in large groups of people because of the noise. Amazing experience— would do it again, but be sure and bring your “reef safe” sunscreen.

Rainy But Good

Booking was very easy and they did a nice job of working with us since not all of our parties made it on the same boat at first. It was not the nicest day but the crew on board did there best to keep up safe and allow us to have fun at the same time. I loved that the had live singing as well as lunch for everyone. Another plus was that there was restrooms. I couldn't complain about all of the different activities that we could do. Book the banana ride ahead of time is my only tip!
