When you travel thousands of miles and program once in a lifetime activities you have to be able to rely on these on line bookings! We fully regret using this company as we lost a whole day of a planned activity, you simple can't afford to waste time like this when you are on vacation for a limited amount of days. Telling us "we will refund your money" just isn't enough! DO NOT BOOK YOUR SNORKELING TOUR HERE!!

The sandbar was deeper than I expected, which surprised me! I've heard that the beach appears only during certain times. Snorkeling was so much fun! There wasn't much explanation on how to use the snorkeling gear, so I almost felt like I was going to drown until I got the hang of it (laughs). We saw beautiful corals, fish, and sea turtles. I think this is a tour that can be participated in with peace of mind, even with young children in elementary school.

Renting a car seemed tiring due to the hassle of finding parking and driving on unfamiliar roads, so it was great for us to be driven to a beautiful, less crowded beach. The kids were very happy.

We were able to play at the beach for about two hours, which felt just right, but I thought that two hours wouldn't be enough for lunch and shopping during the Kailua sightseeing.

That's why I gave it a ★4 rating.

We traveled by boat and were able to reach our destination while enjoying a fun guided experience. I remember that when I went, the water was shallow, about up to my knees, but we were able to see a beautiful sandbar. We also saw sea turtles and enjoyed snorkeling for about an hour. I was trying to keep up while almost cramping my legs, holding onto the bar. For lunch, we had hamburgers made with freshly grilled patties topped with cheese and plenty of vegetables. It was delicious. The wind was strong, and the lettuce was flying everywhere, but that was part of the fun.

The lady kindly brought a cup of salsa sauce and chips for my daughter, who loved them. Everything was well taken care of, and we had a great time without any seasickness. For the return trip, I think it would be good to prepare to change quickly in the restroom so we wouldn't feel cold on the way back.

親の私が脚がつりそうになりながらバーを持ってついていってました。
ランチのハンバーガーは焼きたてのハンバーグにチーズをのせて、好きな野菜をたっぷり入れていただきました。美味しかったです。風が強くてレタスが飛び散ってましたが、それも楽しかったです。
サルサソースとチップスを気に入ったムスメの為にお姉さんがカップに入れてお代わりを持ってきてくださいました。
至れりつくせりで、船酔いもなく、楽しく過ごせました。帰りはトイレの中でサッと着替えられる様に用意をして行けば寒くなく帰れると思います。
とても良い経験をしました。ムスメの絵日記はもちろんシュノーケリングでした。

I was expecting the beauty of the ocean, but while it is cleaner than Waikiki, it wasn't impressive. Upon reflection, there are more fish in rocky areas than in sandbars, so I wouldn't recommend it for those wanting to see fish. It's about a 20-minute bike ride to the city. I went to Target to buy souvenirs, but the chocolate obviously melts. The bike rental is $10. The staff are Japanese, so it's reassuring! The cost performance isn't great; it might be better to go by taxi or rent a car.

I had been interested in this for a while, and when I went to Hawaii last time, I couldn't make a reservation, so I decided to try again this time! I was really looking forward to it. However, nature had other plans. During high tide, the sandbar was only up to my knees, and it rained.

The snorkeling was challenging due to the strong currents, but it was a satisfying tour overall. We even saw sea turtles up close, which was thrilling. Given the weather conditions, I will check the tides for my next attempt. The staff was excellent!

Everyone on the boat was sea sick and was vomiting the whole time. The sub scooter was fun, but there are lots of pressure. If you get claustrophobic or sea sick easily I don't recommend this active. We got to see a lot of fishes. The crew member on the other hand are no really nice.

When you come to Oahu, you can't miss the sandbar! There are many sandbar tours, but I recommend the full-day sightseeing tour with sea turtle watching and BBQ! Since you're there, I hope you fully immerse yourself in the tour for the whole day. Unless you time it perfectly with a big tide, it won't be a sandbar, but you'll still have plenty of fun. It's highly recommended! It can get a bit chilly after coming out of the water, so be sure to bring a jacket.

It's unbelievable that the shuttle from Waikiki, the rental of snorkeling gear, and just a pizza for lunch cost $82! I thought I would be able to snorkel, but they only handed me a mask and told me to go to the beach on my own, which is way too unkind! Plus, I couldn't see any fish at all!!!!

The crew was great - one member stayed by my son in the water until he was comfortable, and then dove down to get cool stuff off the sea floor to show him. The sailing portion was a blast. They let my son drive the boat which will be an awesome memory for him. I would definately do this again.

We participated as a family of four. Personally, I think the ocean at Waikiki Beach is not that great, so we joined this tour in search of a beautiful sea. Kailua Beach was also beautiful, but we walked with our daughter to the slightly farther Lanikai Beach. (You can easily make the round trip on foot, not just by bike.) Lanikai Beach felt a bit more beautiful than Kailua Beach, and the location was stunning and impressive. For lunch, we chose pizza. It was very delicious, and even the family members who had a poor appetite enjoyed it.

First, we headed to the sandbar. Unfortunately, the weather was not great on the day we visited, and it was high tide, which made it feel a bit lacking. I think the view would be amazing on a clear day when a little bit of the beach is exposed above the water.

We played beach volleyball here (the ball was surprisingly heavy) and practiced snorkeling before enjoying hamburgers for lunch.

After that, we moved to a sea turtle spot for snorkeling. We were dropped off in a massive coral area that spanned several dozen meters wide. The entire area was filled with live coral, and there were plenty of fish to see. We even encountered sea turtles! However, I think you need to be careful when chasing the turtles because it suddenly gets deep as you go further out.

While encountering the sea turtles was a highlight, the sandbar, which is another main attraction, was a bit disappointing that day, so I would rate it a 4.

I think it's better to go in the early morning. I had the 8:15 plan. By late morning, I was getting ready to leave Hanauma Bay, and it was already really crowded at that point. It would have been "a once in a lifetime" opportunity in the Pacific ocean in Hawaii. Unfortunately the three of us anxiously awaiting our turn on the underwater scooters became seasick. Had we known the swells of the ocean, from tropical storm Darby, may have affected us negatively, maybe we could have prepared better. Perhaps somewhere in the confirmation the vendor could have mentioned motion sickness and recommended we take or put on something "just in case" we might be affected. My son made it into the scooter gear but came up because bubbles kept getting in his nose, eyes. Others on the boat did have a great time! We won't go again. We will snorkel next time. It just didn't work out for us.
