We all participated in a wedding in Hawaii with both families. There were about 10 of us in total, and everyone was extremely satisfied with the experience!

We were thrilled to see sea turtles and were amazed by the mysterious scenery of the sandbar. The snorkeling allowed us to see plenty of fish, creating wonderful memories. Although I couldn't eat much, I definitely want to participate again!

I participated in the morning sandbar tour and explored Kailua. The water level at the sandbar was a bit high, around waist-deep, but it wasn't a concern. During snorkeling, I was able to see sea turtles, and the scenery was very beautiful. I wonder if the water level varies seasonally.

I also enjoyed exploring Kailua thoroughly in the afternoon. It was a very sunny day, but the cold water service on the way back was a great help.

The staff members were the friendliest and most pleasant I encountered during my stay. I highly recommend this experience. I'm considering joining the early morning tour next time.

I finally participated in the sandbar that I had been curious about every time I went to Hawaii but had never visited before! Although I couldn't see the sandy beach like in pictures or on TV, that's due to the tides, so it can't be helped. Still, the shallowest part was about knee-deep, which felt strange since it was in the middle of the ocean. During our free time, I skipped snorkeling and focused solely on stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). It was so much fun to stand on the board and paddle for the first time! Turtles also came close to the boat, and they were adorable. The brunch was incredibly delicious! This became my favorite memory from this trip to Hawaii. I'm glad I participated.

We participated as a couple. Knowing that the sandbar's experience depends on the tides, we researched the low tide days in August back in April and made our reservation. Due to time constraints, we couldn't experience the magazine-like sandbar with water levels up to our knees, and the weather was cloudy, which was a bit disappointing. However, as soon as we arrived, a small honu greeted us, and we were very moved.

During snorkeling, we were surrounded by three large honu resting on the coral and colorful fish. We also got to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), which we had been interested in for a while, and enjoyed a lunch that was plentiful and delicious, allowing us to forget the stress of Japan in an instant. (The shrimp was especially tasty!)

The crew was fluent in Japanese and very cheerful, and there were thoughtful arrangements and menus for families with small children, making it a tour that families can enjoy with peace of mind. On the bus ride there, the guide's fun explanations kept me awake and alert. When we arrived at the port, the sea was calm with hardly any waves, which surprised the guide as well. Shortly after departing, we spotted dolphins. Although the water was murky, we were able to see the dolphins without them ever coming on board. We were thrilled to see the dolphins spinning and jumping around happily. After that, we also got to see a huge turtle that looked like a rock.

The captain and crew were very kind and helpful. They guided my mother, who was snorkeling in deep water for the first time, and she was able to swim without any issues. She had been worried about swimming and seasickness, but she seemed to get used to it and was satisfied by the end. I, on the other hand, felt a bit unwell towards the end, possibly due to lack of sleep since I arrived in Hawaii the day before. I think it's better to get enough rest and prepare your body beforehand. As for photos, I was so focused on watching the dolphins that I didn't have the chance to take many. Therefore, I mostly took pictures on the boat. A professional photographer accompanied us and took photos of the dolphins, turtles, and participants. We missed the dolphins, but surprisingly, a turtle came up from the seabed right in front of us and almost collided with us! The photos we purchased separately were attached to an email, and it’s clear that professional shots are better. There were turtles and dolphins captured from positions other than ours. We participated as a family of three (a couple and our 13-year-old daughter) who loves snorkeling and dolphins. When we arrived at the snorkeling point, we could see dolphin fins from the boat, and we even saw them jumping! That alone brought us so much joy.

There were about 70 participants that day. Before joining, I checked reviews that suggested staying close to the guide in the water, so we made sure to keep near them. When a pod of dolphins appeared, the guide shouted out directions, and we were able to see the dolphins... it was truly moving! Underwater, we could even hear the sounds of the dolphins. I didn't notice, but my daughter exclaimed that she saw a mother and baby dolphin!

We were lucky enough to see the pod multiple times, which was amazing. According to the guide, it was rare to see them that often. After that, we moved to a spot with turtles for snorkeling, but unfortunately, we couldn't swim with them. However, we did encounter a turtle that surfaced on our way back to the port, which made us very satisfied.

The tour content was very satisfying. A few points to note:
1. Take motion sickness medication beforehand.
2. We participated in August, but if you're sensitive to cold, it might be better to rent a wetsuit. I wore tights and a rash guard, but I was freezing and couldn't stop shaking after getting out of the water.
3. The return bus was quite cold, so it's essential to prepare for that.

イルカの群れが現れると大声で声掛けしてくれるのでその方向をみるとイルカの群れが・・・感動です！！水中ではイルカの声？も聞こえました。私は気づきませんでしたが、娘は親子のイルカがいた～！と。
一度だけではなく、何度もイルカの群れを見れて本当に最高でした。ガイドさんいわく、こんなに何度も見れるのはラッキーだったそうです。
その後カメのいるポイントに移動してシュノーケルしましたが、残念ながらカメと泳ぐことはできませんでした。（港に帰る途中でカメが水上へ現れたのに遭遇できたので気分的には大満足）
ツアーの内容は大満足でした。
注意点としては
①酔い止めを飲んでおく。
②８月参加でしたが冷え性の人はウエットスーツをレンタルしたほうがいいかも。（私はタイツとラッシュガードでしたが海からあがったら寒くて手の震えがとまらなかったです。）
③帰りのバスはかなり寒いので防寒対策必至です。

It was a wonderful and fulfilling tour. Thanks to a cute, petite Japanese staff member who supported us from the pick-up to the drop-off, I was able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind throughout. Not only did I get to see dolphins up close, but the giant turtle I encountered while snorkeling was even more impressive than I had imagined! It came so close that I could almost touch it, making me feel like I could ride it to the Dragon Palace. We also had the freedom to enjoy marine sports like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, which my daughters absolutely loved. I have participated in various tours in Hawaii, but this Dolphin University ranks among the top one or two for the best experience, and I definitely want to join again. The photos taken by the staff were so beautiful that I ended up purchasing them unexpectedly out of sheer emotion.
*Note: There were some people who seemed to struggle with seasickness, so if you're prone to it, don't forget to prepare motion sickness medication in advance!

My overall impression of the experience was good. What I liked most about the activity was seeing the fish while snorkeling. I also saw a few turtles bobbing in and out of the water. There was a boat passing with some dolphins visible which was a nice surprise. My advice for future participants include taking precautions for any motion sickness because the water can make the boat rock a bit depending on the waves. Otherwise its a nice experience overall. It was great at the end of the trip when our shoes were lined up before exiting the ship.

At the sandbar, the water level was up to my knees. It's not possible to time your visit perfectly for low tide, and based on past comments, it seems it was deeper at times, so I thought those who could stand on the sand were quite lucky. However, while snorkeling, we encountered a honu swimming by us. Additionally, we found three resting under the rocks, so it's worth keeping an eye out for them. The footage taken by the staff with my GoPro while diving turned out to be the best shot of this trip.
