This was my third time in Hawaii, and I visited Kailua Beach for the first time. It was much less crowded than Waikiki, making it a very romantic experience. I noticed many newlyweds, which was heartwarming to see.

You can rent mats and beach chairs from the shop, so after a relaxing time on the beach, we returned to the shop for lunch. There were many delicious lunch options available.

The half-Asian driver and the shop staff were kind, efficient, and easy to talk to, making them wonderful people. The lockers, changing rooms, and restrooms were clean and easy to use.

This time, after the beach, I was taken to Kailua Town for shopping, but next time I want to rent a bike and visit Lanikai Beach. Thank you to all the staff!

It was a kayak-only rental, but the relaxed atmosphere of being able to freely use snorkeling gear and bicycles until closing time was fantastic. I even encountered a sea turtle while kayaking, which was amazing! Transporting the kayak to the sea was quite challenging.

On December 25th, most facilities were closed, so our family of four decided to spend the day at the beach. The staff were quick to explain things and friendly in offering advice. We chose to rent bicycles and borrowed snorkeling gear to head to Lanikai Beach. We were amazed by the beautiful sandy beach and thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling. Next, we returned to Kailua Beach to enjoy swimming in the sea.

For lunch, it seemed that many places were closed, so we had no choice but to go with the tortillas from Kalapawai Market (there were about seven types). It seemed like the staff didn't fully understand the tour coupon, and I almost had to pay at the register and nearly missed out on getting mineral water and chips, but I managed to get through it with Google Translate.

I wanted to eat on the beach, but due to time constraints, we returned to Kailua Beach Adventure to eat. The tortillas were very delicious, but they were quite filling, so I took some home for dinner. It turned out to be a memorable day.

The Moke islands were unfortunately closed without a tour guide due to the wind/currents but we were still able to kayak to the flat island. It was so much fun to walk around the island and check out the wildlife there. We then kayaked to Lanikai beach to hang out and snorkel there. Had an amazing bbq lunch plate next to the shop and then went for a bike ride around Lanikai. We were able to do everything at our own pace and all the crew were so friendly. Great way to spend the day.

I visited Kailua Beach for the first time. I was truly impressed by its beauty, which is indeed ranked number one in the United States. I recommend renting a bike (beach cruiser) as an option to extend your trip to Lanikai Beach, which is right next to Kailua Beach. Lanikai Beach had mostly white visitors, giving me a sense of being abroad. Since I had some extra time, I rode my bike to downtown and enjoyed exploring like a local. I requested a shuttle from the Hilton in Waikiki. With a schedule of departing at 8 AM and returning at 4 PM, it was perfect for leisurely sightseeing in Kailua and then enjoying more time in Waikiki. The driver on the day was very kind, as was the Japanese staff member at the Kailua shop who assisted us. Kailua Beach, just a 3-minute walk from the shop, and Lanikai Beach, a 20-30 minute walk from there, were both as wonderful as the reviews suggested, and they are fantastic beaches not too far from Waikiki. When we returned to the shop, it was just past 12:30 PM, but the staff kindly offered to take us to Kailua Town at 1:30 PM, allowing us to stay in town for an hour and a half. Thanks to their flexible scheduling, we were able to enjoy both the beach and the town. Although we were cutting it close, the four types of beer from Lanikai Brewing were delicious. The shop was clean, and I appreciated being able to use it for lunch and change in the changing room inside. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to enjoy Kailua with a shuttle service.

I had been to Kailua before, but my wife wanted to visit a specific store, and we could also go to Whole Foods, plus we could snorkel at Lanikai, so I decided to join. We opted for bike rentals. Riding through the streets of Kailua on a bicycle felt very local and was great. I was able to take my time and enjoy the scenery that I would have missed if I were in a car. It was my first time snorkeling at Lanikai, and to my surprise, a sea turtle appeared right in front of me! I've seen sea turtles many times, but seeing one so close and in the water was an incredible experience. The only downside was the lack of shade; if you go, I recommend bringing a tent or an umbrella. I chose this tour because it offers pick-up from both Kailua Beach and the town. The shop is just a few minutes' walk from Kailua Beach, so I was able to go back and forth twice and enjoy playing at the beach. We signed up for the basic course for two people and enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling. After kayaking, we went snorkeling, but since I'm not comfortable in deep water, I thought it would have been better to borrow a life jacket. It was also fun to travel by bike to the snorkeling spot. The pickup from the hotel and the option to choose activities at Kailua Beach were great. Instead of going into town, the kids chose to rent beach items. We got a large float, but it wasn't very useful in the actual sea. The ocean was beautiful, and we were taken back to town, so overall it was good, but the tour felt a bit pricey. It would have been even better if there was a shuttle service from Kailua Beach to Lanikai Beach.
