We had a great experience seeing the fireworks on a Friday evening. The boat ride is about an hour. The firework was about a good 10 minutes (two parts) but you will be not be able to see fireworks sitting in the Waikiki beach area so recommend making a reservation with Ke Kai as they know the spot where the firework takes place.
