Oahu
I really do it again.
It was a very nice and wonderful tour.
Our Driver, Brandon was fun, energetic and informative. We couldn't have asked for a better trip all around.
The day ran pretty smoothly. Slight problem at start when we were told they had overbooked but it was all sorted quickly. Great bus driver. Funny and very informative. A very hot day especially on the Missouri but good food and drink outlets.
Take your time, go earlier than you need to, read all the signs and placards you can. Doing this will give you so much more understanding of what took place on that day of infamy. Be quiet and listen to the calm. Remember. You will be moved.
Excellent Driver tour guide and interaction. The whole day was memorable and excellent .
This was our first trip to Oahu therefore our first opportunity to visit the USS Arizona, Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. We were staying in Ko O'lina on the west side of the island and found very few tours that originated from the leeward side. We are so pleased this tour was offered with hotel pick up.
Our guide, a doppelgänger for Santa Claus, was funny an quite informative. The amount of time provided at each site was exactly enough for us. We feel like we got to cross a few things off our bucket list thanks to this tour.
We certainly recommend this tour.
This was a great experience starting from the pick up at our hotel. Larry our driver was very welcoming and he made the bus ride fun and was full of information. We have been to Honolulu before but really enjoyed the information and the opportunity to hear about Hawaii history. The Punch Bowl was made interesting by our driver Larry who provided lots of details that were new to us. When we arrived at Pearl Harbor he made sure that we knew where to go and when to be there. We were the only ones doing the Mighty Mo tour so again he made sure we knew what to do and when. His estimations of the times for the activities were spot on. The towel service was much appreciated after climbing the ladders of the Missouri. Thanks for the great experience.
Rocky picked us up right on time and transported my family across the island for the city tour and Pearl Harbor tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Pearl Harbor is a place that all should visit to get a sense of the importance of remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country! Great tour overall!
My husband and and I made the trip to Pearl Harbour and visited the ship the Missouri and the very touching memorial. It was one of the best days spent on our Hawaii vacation. Our only regret was we did not get up and go as early as possible as there was so much more we could have seen if we had planned to spend the entire day there. The ship was amazing and definitely worth the ticket price. We didn't see the submarine or airport but we couldn't have squeezed anything else in that day. All round an excellent way to spend the day and have a real appreciation for the history.
One of the most amazing parts of the trip was the memorial. We were fortunate enough to have a WWII veteran visiting the memorial that day. It was very honerable how the staff escorted him on and off the shuttle boat and made way for him to the front the memorial. There were so many names you could not help but to look for a potential past relative on the wall and find your personal connection to history.
The Missouri felt like a time capsule. It was so interesting to see the way the sailers and army men lived on the boat. Very organized spaces in such tight quarters. One of the most memorable exhibits was the Japanese komakozi exhibit. They have letters written by the young men who sacrificed their lives in the Japanese Air Force. Very heart felt and it really hit home that all war is devastating regardless of the side you happen to be on.
We had Larry with Royal Star as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a sense of humor which was a bonus. He gave us pointers once we were at Pearl Harbor which were helpful. We enjoyed learning about the history of Pearl Harbor. The Arizona Memorial was very moving. The USS Battleship Missouri was really cool. The ship is huge. We first were part of a guided tour where we learned about what took place on the battleship. After the tour, we were able to move around the ship freely and explore. We finished off this experience by touring the city. We learned a lot about the history of Hawaii. This was an awesome experience and we highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.
This tour was so great. Having a luxurious coach, a driver in training Toa and the Driver of the Year (2015/2016) Larry, the whole day was informative and fun. One of the greatest things I enjoyed was the amount of time we had at Pearl Harbor. Would highly recommend Royal Star... Toa & Larry treated us all like royalty.
If you choose to do this tour, I highly recommend the USS Missouri which took me around two hours. It gave me a great insight into what it must have been like on the Arizona when the Japanese struck and how so many brave soldiers were entombed in her.
Finally, I would again commend this tour company for the motor coach, professionalism, service, jokes and knowledge. It was well above my expectations.
The experience was excellent from beginning to end. The online booking through Veltra was straight forward and an email confirmation was promtly received. The staff was very helpful over the telephone in advance of the tour. The pick up was right on time and our driver was charismatic, professional and knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii. The city tour was great and would recommend it as a combination package with the Arizona Memorial entrance. The Arizona Memorial is a must see when visiting the island, the experience was both informative and emotional. We proceeded to visit the Missouri which is an absolute must see. We were driven to the Missouri in a very comfortable bus. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed aboard the ship. It was a real walk through time. Make sure you carve out enough time to walk through the ship, you can spend hours if so inclined. We participated in a 30 minute guided tour which was packed with information and then walked around the ship. The Missouri is a magnificent ship filled with stories of people who were present and lived moments of historical significance. Our driver gave us a pick up time for the return and he was on site promptly on schedule. Our driver was curteous, funny and provided us with additional information on our way back to our hotel. We were dropped off at our hotel entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had considered making our own arrangements to visit Pearl Harbour but we decided to book our tickets and tour through Veltra/Hawaiian tours after speaking to a group that had booked through them. We had rented a car for two days and toured other parts of the island. The booking of the Arizona Memorial and the Missouri through Veltra was definitely worth while and would recommend it to anyone visiting the island. No line up for tickets, excellent service and informative city tour.
We hadn't realized how difficult it was to get tickets into the Arizona and had originally planned to just go on our own. When we discovered we would really need a tour our concierge couldn't find space for us. I located the Hawaiian activities website by accident and they managed to get us on a tour the next morning.... Our driver, Larry, picked us up and took us through downtown, the punch bowl and gave us a great overview (entertaining too!) of everything we went by and what to expect when we got to Pearl Harbor. When we got there Larry took us through everything himself, making sure we got our tickets, making us aware of timing issues. It was a great trip and we couldn't of asked for a better guide. I left a bag on the bus by accident and Larry realized whose bag it was and since his next tour was going from near our hotel, he parked while he waited for them, where we could him see if we came by....so I got my bag back almost before I missed it! Thank you Larry! We really were extremely pleased with this company. It was very well run. Definitely would use them again....and hopefully I'll get a chance. Hawai'i was great.
Me and my partner went for the Pearl Harbor trip yesterday with the Missouri battle ship included.
The pick up was a breeze with the bus driver, Larry (from Royalty STAR motorcoach), probably being the highlight of the tour. Not just knowledgeable about the history and language of Hawaii but extremely funny and interactive.
The busses are air-conditioned and has a toilet on board. There is toilets and food outlets when you get dropped off.
Upon doing this trip it really gives you the appreciation of what actually happend.
If doing the trip its really worth consider doing the battleships as well, gives a good feel of what it's like living on those ships.
The tour from was amazing from the start. Larry, the driver and guide, was knowledgeable and very informative. The experience at the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri was pleasant. We were able to complete both ahead of the time we had originally expected which allowed for us to complete other activities sooner.Larry would give little pointers that would help things go more smoothly for us as tourist. The seats on the bus were comfortable and the ride was smooth. The additional tour of the city was unexpected, but vey pleasant. We learned about the monkey trees and why they are here, the Chinese trees at the cemetery where U.S. Soldiers are buried. We would definitely recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised by this tour. Since I am really not a history buff, I was not sure I would enjoy it, but I am so glad that we went. The trip was very well organized and our driver, Larry was fabulous. He was a wealth of knowledge and he explained a lot about the local history and he provided an entertaining vocabulary lesson. He also kept us in schedule and provided specific directions as to where we needed to be and the timeframes we had for each area. The tour itself was very detailed and I highly recommend the Arizona tour as well. The film prior to the tour was contained actual footage of the attack and painted a realistic picture of the magnitude of the attack. All of the guides were very knowledgeable and took time to answer all of the questions. The battle ship was amazing and you can pretty much go through the entire ship. I would recommend tennis shoes as the ladders can be tricky in flip flops. We have done several excursions over the past week and I highly recommend you include this one as a must do!
We had a great driver. He was very pleasant and informative. We learned a lot. We particularly enjoyed the Bowfin submarine. We had kids ages 8 and 10. It was very interesting. The movie about the history of Pearl Harbor very moving. The USS Mossouri was interesting but made tour a bit long for the kids. I would recommend the shorter tour of heading home after the Arizona Memorial if you have young kids. Submarine was highlight for us for the day.
We had a great time but we didn't have enough time to see everything
EXcellent history but talk went on too long. Everything in realy good condition and being preserved by hard working volunteers.
This is the second time for us but we had family guests who had not been before. Last time we took the tour, our guide was excellent, informative, fun. This time we were not as happy with the guide. The first thing he did was tell us about himself and he played football. That took 10 min. He went extensively into the history of the island but did not touch on some of the things that were current such as the Hawaiian housing we drove through, no gangs. He was very monotone. I know he said he had been doing this for 30 years but we paid over $600. and he was boring and not as informative as he could be

Aloha. We are very humbled and grateful that you chose E Noa Tours to help introduce your friends to Oahu. Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Having said that, however, we are extremely disappointed to hear that the tour guide did not meet your expectations. E Noa Tours is proud of each and every one of its drivers and tour guides. And they, in turn, are proud to talk about their island home. Our guests always return with glowing reviews about their tour guides, who normally are entertaining and informative. It sounds like the tour guide who took care of you that day, needs a pep talk from our management team. Please accept our apologies for your negative experience. We hope that your friends still had fun on the tour and walked away with fabulous photos. Warmest aloha to you.
The guides from E Noa Tours do a great job providing guests with a good mixture of history, cultural background, and humor. The tour was good, although we felt like we had too much time to kill on land before the boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. We also felt like we didn't have enough time at the USS Missouri. Overall, the highlights tour was good and participants definitely get a well-rounded understanding of the history behind the events leading up to December 7, 1941.
E Noa Tours wishes you and your a very Happy New Year! We are so glad you enjoyed your tour highlighting Pearl Harbor.
Please think of us the next time you are on O'ahu!

Had a great time! We enjoyed ourselves on the tour :)...
Excellent! This is the best way to tour Pearl Harbor. Our tour guide was excellent, the timing allowed for everything was perfect.
I wish we could have had time to take pics during the tour. The experience at the Memorial was breath-taking. An experience of a lifetime.
A tour which will be appreciated by all ages. A humbling experience and something that I have wanted to fullfil for a long time. Thank you.
Well done. Had a great time with a wonderful city tour guide. No waiting at the Arizona Memorial. Perfect…
Super tour I would highly recommend it. Our tour guide was SO informative as well as funny.
Had an amazing time! Fred was awesome! Great experience at Pearl Harbor so early in the morning to hear revelrie and The Star Spangled Banner. Very moving experience. The city tour was fun! Lots of info. Fred was a great tour guide. So worth the money!!
Fantastic package. Nice to be first there and have everything explained and presented to you as a recommendation.
This tour was very disappointing, because I have chosen it not only to visit the Arizona memorial (a visit that can be done in complete autonomy), but to take advantage of the city shuttle tour to get a first impression of the city of Honolulu. I knew it would have been only a short morning tour, but it was almost useless to do it because we didn't see practically anything. However, and this is the great disappointment, we were half an hour in a gift shop! Half an hour which obviously could be devoted to the city tour. However the visit the Arizona Memorial is a "must do" moving experience, and the driver of the shuttle was an Amazing and caring person.
