How does the tour work
Guests will be picked-up from select Waikiki hotels at approximately 7:00AM for a nice and early start to the day. From Waikiki, it is around a 45 minute drive to Green World Coffee Farm, and then you will be on your way to the highlight of the tour, a visit to the Dole Pineapple Farm and Factory. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the town of Haleiwa on the North Shore before making your way back to Waikiki. Guests will have lunch-on-own at the historic Old Haleiwa Town. Guests can explore a variety of local eateries, including food trucks and restaurants, giving them the flexibility to enjoy a lunch of their choice. On the way back to Waikiki, stop at the King Kamehameha Statue for wonderful photo opportunities.Local expert tips
- Since the pineapple fields have an abundance of loose red dirt, guests should wear comfortable close-toed shoes, and clothing that you don't mind possibly getting a little dirty.
- Guests with mobility issues should be aware that due to uneven terrain like dirt, sand, and gravel, this activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- Although breakfast is not included, you will have the opportunity to purchase coffee, smoothies, and pastries at the Greenworld Coffee Farms on your first stop of the day.
- During your free time in Haleiwa, you can enjoy a variety of delicious desserts and snacks like shave ice at Matsumoto's, açaí bowls and smoothies from Haleiwa Bowl, or a refreshing coffee at Island Vintage.
Transportation information
Guests will be picked up and dropped off from select Waikiki locations including the Ala Moana Hotel, an ABC Store near the Grand Waikikian, the Ross for Dress for Less in the heart of Waikiki. the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, and the Waikiki Beach Marriott. Guests staying at the the Kahala Hotel & Resort will also have transportation as an option.• Pick-up time: Between 7:00AM and 7:30AM

Begin your day with a stop at a local coffee farm, where you can sample and taste some of their freshly brewed coffee. Should hunger strike, you can purchase some pastries, refreshing smoothies, and other breakfast delights for a wonderful morning and a great way to savor the flavors of the island.

Explore the fields at Dole plantation, where you can witness tractors and farmers harvesting or planting pineapples. Discover Hawaii's historic agricultural system while also trying famous Dole pineapple, Waialua chocolates, and Waialua Coffee which are all part of the Dole brand of farm products.

Visit a popular and scenic North Shore beach that is famous for its turtle sightings. With luck, you may catch sight of an endangered monk seal or Hawaiian green sea turtles basking on the white sandy shores. Don't miss this golden chance to capture breathtaking photos of nature's wonders.

Make a quick little detour to a charming macadamia nut shop nestled beneath the graceful canopy of a vast and majestic banyan tree.
