I couldn't be there to greet them, but I'm so glad that Don could be there for me. He had amazing communication with me as soon as their plain landed all the way to when he got home from greeting our kids. He did an amazing job and even sent me pictures!!! I couldn't have asked for a better way for them to start their trip and they were thrilled with this special greeting!! AND, I got a great deal with the buy one get one free special!!!

Just what we needed to turn our mood around.
Reviewed by: April Young, 2024/01/16After a 13 hour travel delay, 6 flight cancelations and delays we ended up with an 11pm arrival. Dan was there to meet us as we got of the plane. His smile and calm demeanor really helped turn things around for us. As he placed the Lei and welcomed us I just couldn't help but think this was worth it. In that moment the stress of our day seemed to melt away.
Dan's smile and wealth of knowledge was exactly what we needed to get our Hawaiian adventure off to an amazing start.
The Leis themselves were phenomenal. Well crafted, fresh and better than I imagined.
I will be recommending this family business to everyone I know.

What a great welcome to Kauai!
Reviewed by: Jacque Rideout, 2023/06/09Even though I knew the lei greeting was going to happen-it was still exciting to see our name being held up by Dan with an arm full of orchard lei's. Dan was as excited as we were to be in Kauai, he was super careful in checking to see if our 1-year old grandson wanted his lei (Mom got it) and even graciously took our family picture under the Kauai sign at the airport.
I highly recommend a welcome onto the island with an orchard lei. It made me want to kick my shoes off, grab an umbrella drink and run to the beach as fast as I could!

Very Flexible With Re-Scheduling
Reviewed by: gsr, 2015/08/10Our first flight was delayed, so we missed two connections. We had to re-schedule our lei greeting twice! The company was great - I appreciated that THEY called US to confirm ahead of time so that I was able to tell them about the delay. (And then they called again to confirm, so I was able to let them know about the second delay.) It would have been more difficult had I had to find their contact info and call them myself.
We arrived very late in the evening, exhausted, and our greeter was there for us, the last customers of the night. The leis were as promised. Thank you very much!

Warm and friendly

Our greeter was warm and friendly and explained how to get our rental car once we'd obtained our luggage. She also explained how to maintain the leis for a few days. I'd highly recommend it.

Such a Hawaiian way to be greeted when arriving to Kauai! Especially our first visit!
Reviewed by: Amanda, 2014/10/15I didn't know if we word receive flower lei's when we arrived to Kauai, I researched companies that would have the lei's at the airport. I did it as a surprise to my husband! Our plane was delayed and the woman waited for us to arrive after midnight! She had the sign up when exiting to baggage claim and I saw her in enough time to have my husband walk thru first. The greeter was very friendly and helped us to get a taxi to get us to our hotel. The lei's were beautiful! They lasted almost 5 days and we refrigerated them at first. This is an essential Hawaiian to-do!!!

I googled it on line and several companies came up but Hawaiin Activities stood out as one of the best, and we were not disappointed. It was easy to go on line and order and the options on what you wanted was great. When we arrived in Kauai, and walked through the doors the lady was standing there with a sign in her hand with our names, dressed in a lovely Hawaiin dress with all our leis lined up on her arms. No one knew I had arranged it and it was such a great way to end a long trip. The kids loved it as did my husband and I. Once we were given our official welcome, the lady was so great at helping us get our luggage and directing us to where we needed to go. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is both new to the island or coming back again. The leis lasted for days, very well made, funny heavier than I expected and smelled great. As first timers, our contact took pictures for us and pointed out where to get to the car rental shuttles. it's always nice to find a friendly face in the crowd when traveling.
