As a person in my 60s traveling alone, I was initially worried about the meeting point, bus station, and restrooms, but everything was taken into consideration. The water buffalo cart that I was looking forward to was wonderful, and what exceeded my expectations was the bus tour of Iriomote Island with the driver's guidance. I was also able to see the butterflies I wanted to see during my free time on Yubu Island. Although the ferry ride between Ishigaki and Iriomote Islands was long, I enjoyed it, and I'm dreaming of a trip where I can stay on Iriomote Island next time.

60代、1人参加なので集合場所やバス乗り場、お手洗いなど不安でしたが全てに配慮されていました。
楽しみにしていた水牛車はもちろん、予想以上に良かったのは西表島のバス観光で運転手さんのガイド。由布島での自由時間に見たかった蝶を見れた事。
石垣と西表島の船の時間が長いことも楽しみながら、次は西表島に滞在する旅も夢見ています。

It was my first time snorkeling in the ocean and stand-up paddleboarding in the mangroves, but thanks to the friendly guide and my friends, I had a great time! Playing in the water felt wonderful, and I made many memorable memories. Thank you very much! I hope to have the opportunity to do it again!

海でシュノーケリングをしたりマングローブでSUPするのも初めてでしたが、優しいガイドさんや友達のおかげで楽しめました！

I was amazed by the 17.5 km mangrove and felt inspired! Thank you, Yuka the water buffalo, for doing such a great job transporting us! The plants and food on Yubu Island were delicious. I also enjoyed Taketomi Island; all of it became wonderful memories.

The night sky in Ishigaki Island was very beautiful, and the stars were clearly visible. It was a magical sky, and it was exceptionally more beautiful than any night sky I have seen before.

I was able to see the incredibly beautiful Sagari-bana during a limited-time night tour. It was my first time going on a night tour, and I was really excited.

It was my first time participating in a night tour. I joined as a couple, and we had a great time! The guide explained various creatures and plants that we can't see on the main island, and the time flew by.

Taiwan is the best. You can efficiently enjoy the charm of places like Ibusuki and Taketomi Island all in one go. In each area, there is plenty of free time to explore at your own pace. You can also have lunch whenever you like. The group feel is minimal. I recommend it.

タイパ最高です。色表・由布・竹富島の魅力を凝縮して効率的に楽しめます。
各地では、自分達のペースで回れ自由な時間も多いです。ランチも自分達のタイミングで食べられます。団体感は薄いです。

Our first trip to Ishigaki Island with our friends' family. We joined a night tour, hoping to see the bugs and creatures that the kids love!

Walking down the pitch-black jungle path, relying only on our lights to search for crabs, centipedes, and various creatures was incredibly thrilling, and the kids were so excited! The adults were also very enthusiastic.

We encountered a large coconut crab and were able to gaze at the starry sky, which was an experience we could never have done on our own, and we were very satisfied!

The guides were kind to the kids and provided constant, attentive support.

I would love to join again when we visit Ishigaki Island!

友達家族と一緒に、初めての石垣島。
子ども達が大好きな虫や生き物が見られるかも、とナイトツアーに参加しました！

想像していた以上に真っ暗なジャングルの道を、ライトだけを頼りに進みながら、カニやムカデ、いろいろな生き物を探すのはとてもスリリングで、子ども達は大はしゃぎ！大人も大興奮でした。

大きなヤシガニにも出会え、満点の星空も仰ぐことができ、自分達だけでは絶対にできなかった体験でとっても大満足でした！

ガイドのお兄さん達は、子ども達にも優しく常に細やかなフォローをしてくださいました。

石垣島に行く際は、また参加したいです！

My first time in Ishigaki Island, and I felt reassured with the hotel pick-up service. Sebastian was very cheerful and introduced us to recommended restaurants during the transfer, along with some perks outside of the tour.

Canoeing was a first for me, but they taught me very carefully and were always watching over me, so I could participate with peace of mind.

Even on a cloudy day, snorkeling allowed us to see beautiful corals and fish, which was very satisfying.

Hiroki, our guide, was very pleasant, and we were able to enjoy the day thoroughly.

You can't experience this kind of reassurance without being on a tour!

This time, I participated in the VELTRA tour program "Mangrove SUP or Canoe Plan" with my family. Unlike the recent heat, it was pleasantly cool due to the typhoon's influence. We took photos together in the Yaeyama mangrove forest. Before getting on the kayak, we were lucky enough to spot a crab. It looked delicious, but I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't take it home, so we let it go. ^_^

Since it was my first time kayaking, I initially struggled and spun around in the river. However, with the guidance of our instructor, Aoi, I gradually got the hang of it. I heard that there are over 100 different types of plants in the Yaeyama mangrove. The water there is a mix of river and seawater, which has a high salt content, making it toxic to regular plants. I learned for the first time that these plants have survived for hundreds of years by collecting the toxins in specific leaves and dropping them. We spotted various animals living there. On the way back, it was wonderful to see the surrounding plants and hear the birds while progressing through the river, enjoying the scenery.

今度は家族を連れてVELTRAのツアープログラム「マングローブSUPorカヌー付きプラン」を参加しました。先日の暑さと違って台風の影響で涼しくなり気持ち良かったです。ヤエヤマヒルギの林にで家族と一緒に写真を取りました。カヤックに乗る前に運よくガニを見つけました。おいしそうに見えるけど持ち帰れないので逃がしたのは少し残念でした。^_^
カヤックを漕ぐのがはじめてなので最初はコンビーならず川の中でぐるぐる回りましたが。ガイドのAOIさんの指導があって段々なれるようになりました。ヤエヤマヒルギにいろんな植物があり100種以上と聞きました。そこの水は川と海水を混じった物で塩分が高いため、通常の植物に毒になり生存することができないが。そこの植物がその毒を特定の葉に集めて落すことで何百年も行き続けたのをはじめて聞きました。そこに生息する色んな動物を見つかりました。帰りには周囲の植物を見たり、鳥の声を聞いたりしながら川の中に進んでいく周りの風景を見るのが最高です。
　

The glass-bottom boat at Kawahira Bay, which I was looking forward to the most, was canceled due to the impact of Typhoon No. 4, so I couldn't ride it. However, the guide provided easy-to-understand explanations, and the meeting time was reasonable, so overall, it was enjoyable. The guide also sang folk songs using a sanshin, and they were a great singer. I'm glad I participated.

1番楽しみにしていた川平湾のグラスボートは台風4号の影響で船が欠航してしまい、乗れなかったのですが、ガイドさんが分かり易い説明をしてくれて、集合時間も無理のない時間だったので総合的には楽しかったです。
ガイドさんが三線を使って民謡などを歌ってくださり、歌が上手でした。
参加してよかったと思いました。

You can visit the tourist spots in Ishigaki Island in a short time, and the guide provides explanations. The lunch was also delicious, featuring many local ingredients from Ishigaki Island.

短時間で石垣島の観光スポットを回れ、ガイドさんが説明してくれます。ランチも石垣島素材が沢山あって美味しかった。

The guide's talk was interesting, but the lunch was just okay. Everything else was great! The guide was really good, though.

ガイドさんのトークもおもしろかったけど、お昼ご飯がイマイチ。それ以外は全部よかったです！ガイドさんは本当によかったのになぁ

I was able to experience both the SUP tour and the snorkeling tour in one day! They pick you up by car, so it was fun to hear stories about Ishigaki Island during the ride. Even if you're a beginner, they teach you how to ride and paddle on the SUP. During snorkeling, they told us the names of the fish, and it was really enjoyable in the beautiful sea. Thank you very much!

I participated in the rising canoe and Blue Cave snorkeling tour from the morning. The mangrove canoe experience was honestly mediocre. We were asked to help load the canoes onto a truck and transport them to the river, which felt off since we were paying for the tour. I think the operators need to make some improvements. The person in charge was doing their best and was likable, but the course to see the mangroves was short and lacked any explanations, leaving me completely unsatisfied. Additionally, although it was a sunrise tour, there were hotels built in the spot where the sun rises, so we couldn't see it.

Overall, I cannot recommend the mangrove canoe tour.

Now for my thoughts on the Blue Cave snorkeling tour. The weather was great, making it an amazing experience. On the day of the tour, the water was very clear, and I could see quite deep. I encountered a clownfish and even two sea turtles! I was able to see many beautiful fish as well. I've done snorkeling and diving in various places, but this level of snorkeling is incredible! The guide, Ryotaro, was very pleasant and entertaining. He engaged with all the participants in the car, sharing recommendations for restaurants and interesting facts about Ishigaki Island, which left a good impression. I absolutely recommend this tour! It can be affected by the weather, but if it's sunny, it's the best!

朝からのライジングカヌーと青の洞窟シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
マングローブカヌーは、正直微妙でした。
川にエントリーするためのカヌーを参加者男性でトラックに乗せて、降ろして川まで運ぶ作業を手伝わされます。
お金を払ってツアー参加してるのに、、
なんだかな、、という感じでした。
運営側の工夫が必要だと思いました。
担当の方は頑張っていて好感を持てました。ただ、マングローブを見るコースは短く解説なども無いため全く物足りないです。またサンライズツアーですが、日が昇る場所にホテルが建っていて上がるところは見られません。
総合的にマングローブカヌーツアーは、私はおススメ出来ません。

ここから青の洞窟シュノーケルツアーの感想です。
天気にも恵まれ最高の体験となりました。
当日は、海の透明度も高くかなり深くまで目視できました。
隠れクマノミにも海亀にも遭遇できました。しかも、海亀は2匹！！
その他にも沢山のお魚が綺麗に見る事ができました。
色々な場所でシュノーケルやダイビングをしてきましたが、シュノーケルでこのレベルは凄いです！
ガイドのリョウタロウさんも大変感じ良く楽しませてくれました。
車中でも参加者皆んなに話しかけ、オススメのお店の紹介や石垣島豆知識を話してくれるなど、楽しませようとする姿勢が好印象でした。
こちらのツアーは、絶対オススメです！
天候にも左右されますが晴れたら最高です。

I rode a water buffalo for the first time. It was a unique experience that I will remember for a lifetime. The bus driver also shared stories about the island's attractions, which was enjoyable. I got caught in a downpour, but it was still a good memory.

初めて水牛にのりました。
なかなかできない体験で一生の思い出です。バスの運転手さんが、島の観光話もしてくれて楽しかったです。
スコールに当たりましたがいい思い出です。

I chose this tour because I wanted to experience the water buffalo on Yubu Island. It would have been difficult to visit Iriomote Island and Yubu Island on my own, so I think choosing the tour was the right decision. The lunch, although included in the tour, was also very delicious.

由布島への水牛体験がしたくて、このツアーを選びました。西表島、由布島と、個人で行くには大変だったので、ツアーにして正解だったと思います。ランチも、ツアーについているとはいえとても美味しく頂きました。

I was able to efficiently tour the remote islands for the first time. As soon as we got off the boat, a bus was waiting for us, so there was no wasted time. The sightseeing time on the island was just right.

初めての離島巡りで効率よく観光できました。
船を降りれば移動のバスが待機しており、無駄な時間がなかったです。
島での観光時間も丁度良かったです。

We were considering traveling to Iriomote Island as a family, but since my elderly mother was with us, we decided to join a tour. The staff member who came to pick us up at the hotel had a wonderful smile that left a lasting impression, and I was moved to see that they also handled the boat operations. I'm sure all the staff are well-rounded individuals. They worked efficiently and responsibly. The explanations from the tour guide on the Nakama River were very easy to understand, and the time spent riding the water buffalo to Yubu Island calmed my usually restless heart. On the return boat, the splashes of water felt refreshing, making it a unique experience especially during the hot season. Thanks to participating in this tour, we were able to spend a happy time. Thank you very much. I would like to go to Ishigaki Island, Iriomote Island, and Yubu Island again on this tour.

西表島へは家族で行動しようと考えていたのですが、高齢の母が一緒だったこともありツアーに参加することにしました。ホテルまでお迎えに来てくださったスタッフの方の素敵な笑顔が印象的で、その方が船の業務もこなしているのを見て感動しました。きっとどのスタッフの方もオールラウンダーなのでしょう。テキパキと責任を持って働いていらっしゃいました。仲間川ではツアーガイドをされている方の説明も非常にわかりやすく、水牛に乗って由布島へ行く時間は日頃の荒ぶった心を穏やかにしてくれました。帰りのボートでは水飛沫がとても気持ちよく暑い時期だからこその体験が出来ました。このツアーに参加できたおかげで幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。またこのツアーで石垣島、西表島、由布島へ行きたいと思います。

I have been to Ishigaki Island several times, but it was my first time visiting the Blue Cave!

After passing through a jungle surrounded by trees, a space like a private beach opened up, and we entered the sea from there.

We went out to the open sea through a trench, which was also quite interesting. I even got to see clownfish! 🐟

Just floating around is fun, so I recommend it even for beginners!

木々に囲まれたジャングルを抜けるとプライベートビーチのような空間が広がっており、そこから海に入りました。

海溝を抜けて沖に出るんですが、その海溝がまた面白かったです。
クマノミにも会えました🐟

ただぼーーっと浮かんでいるだけでも楽しいので、初心者の方でもおすすめです！

I participated in a tour to explore the jungle. After about 30 minutes of being jostled in the car from the meeting point, it was magical to see the sunset gradually approaching.

The terrain in the jungle was more rugged than I expected, which made it feel like a real adventure, and I had a lot of fun! It was a jungle where I could feel the geography and history of Ishigaki Island, and the guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining!

When we emerged from the jungle, the ocean spread out before us, and the starry sky we all looked up at after turning off our lights was unforgettable. The sound of the waves and the star-filled sky were breathtaking, and I thought I would love to come back just to see this view again!

合流から30分ほど車に揺られて移動しますが、だんだんと日が暮れていくのが幻想的でした。

ジャングル内は思ったより起伏が激しく、探検感満載でとても楽しかったです✨

I saw various sizes of coconut crabs. During the tour, the guests turned off their lights all at once and looked up at the sky filled with stars. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I was overwhelmed by the number of stars I had never seen before. The tour guide was also very good at storytelling, and there was always laughter throughout the tour. I'm really glad I participated!

大小様々なヤシガニを見たり。ツアー客で「いっせいのーせい」でライトを消し、顔を見上げるの空一面の星。
暗闇にだんだん目が慣れてくると見た事ない位の星が溢れていました。またツアーガイドさんも話し上手で常に笑いの絶えないツアーでした。本当に参加して良かったです！

This tour focuses on the stars and wildlife! We explored the jungle at night and went out to see the starry sky! That night, there were no clouds, and the stars were beautiful, and we also saw coconut crabs and purple land crabs! The guide's knowledge was amazing, and it was a lot of fun!

It was a more authentic night tour than I expected, and I had a great time. They also offered rental boots, so I could enjoy it hands-free. The weather was nice, and the stars were beautiful to see.

As we progressed through the pitch-black jungle along the coastline with our guide, we encountered coconut crabs, unique tropical creatures and plants, and growing stalactites, which was thrilling. Since it was a new moon and clear skies, we were blessed with a stunning starry sky, making for a valuable experience. Before I knew it, I had walked over 10,000 steps.

ガイドさんについて真っ暗な海岸沿いのジャングルを進んで行くと、ヤシガニや熱帯ならではの生物や植物、成長途中の鍾乳石などに遭遇できて興奮。新月&晴れのタイミングだったので降るような星空にも恵まれ貴重な体験ができた。気がつけば1万歩以上歩いてました。

We participated as a couple with our middle school child. I thought it would be a light walk, but it turned out to be quite a challenging mountain trail. Since there are steep slopes, I recommend joining with a backpack or going hands-free. It's better to keep both hands free. The humidity was intense, creating a truly jungle-like atmosphere. We were able to see natural monuments like hermit crabs and coconut crabs. The starry sky viewed from the sandy beach was also absolutely wonderful, and I'm really glad we participated. The guide's explanations and stories about the creatures were very enjoyable and easy to understand.

私たち夫婦と中学生の子供で参加しました。軽めのお散歩だと思ってましたが、なかなかハードな山道でした。
急な坂道があるので、リュックや手ぶらでの参加をおすすめします。両手はフリーにしておいたほうが良いと思います。
湿気がすごくて本当にジャングルといった雰囲気です。
天然記念物のヤドカリやヤシガニも見ることができました。砂浜から見る星空も大変素晴らしくて参加して本当に良かったと思っています。
ガイドさんの生き物の説明やお話もとても楽しくわかりやすかったです。
