I'm really glad I was able to capture the stunning starry sky in Miyako Island! Taking photos of the night sky is quite challenging for amateurs, and the family photo with the starry background became a wonderful memory of our trip to Miyako Island. The "Miyako Island Recommendation List" that I received from Yusuke after the shoot was also very helpful! Thank you!

In the ideal, crystal-clear sea, I was able to see many sea turtles, beautiful small fish, and even Nemo, making it the best memory of my time in Miyako Island! I believe this was also thanks to our guide, Matsuura-san, who efficiently took us to spots where we could see sea turtles and Nemo. It would be difficult to find such great spots in the vast ocean on our own, and I was also anxious about swimming far from the shore, so it was definitely thanks to Matsuura-san. Before entering the water, he provided precise snorkeling instructions, which allowed us to truly enjoy snorkeling comfortably! (By pressing down on the top of the goggles and exhaling through the nose, the water would clear out.) It was very helpful, and it seemed like my child was able to enjoy it comfortably as well. We had a wonderful time thanks to Matsuura-san's personality! Thank you very much!

理想の透明度の高い海の中、ウミガメや綺麗な小魚やニモなどがたくさん見られて宮古島の中でも一番の思い出になりました！
ただ、これもガイドの松浦さんが効率的にウミガメやニモなどがいる場所に連れて行ってくれたからだと思います。個人では、広い海の中であんなに良いスポットを見つけるのも難しいですし、岸から離れた所まで泳いでいくことも不安だったので、やはり松浦さんのおかげですね。海には入る前に、シュノーケルの指導も的確にしてくれたおかげで本当に快適にシュノーケルを楽しむことが出来ました！（ゴーグルの上部を押さえて、鼻から息をフッと吐くと水が抜けたり）とっても役に立ち、子供もそれでずいぶん快適に過ごせたようです。松浦さんのお人柄でとっても楽しい時間を過ごせました！どうもありがとうございました！

The Sagarihana is a flower that blooms during this season in the Okinawa and Yaeyama region, and it opens at night. I thought it would be tough to go alone since it moves at night, so I joined a tour.

After gathering, the tour adjusted the timing and took us to the Tanbuku Farm's garden, where we stayed for about an hour before being transported back. The site was beautifully lit up, and even though it was small, it was enjoyable, so I’m glad I participated. Moreover, since there are hardly any streetlights along the way, I think it’s safer to have someone take you there.

Looking at the Sagarihana, it seemed that about half of the flowers had already finished blooming at Tanbuku Farm, and it appears to be a limited period from late June to early July, so if your schedule allows, it might be a good idea to go see the Sagarihana.

When the Sagarihana blooms, it emits a sweet and unique fragrance, creating a mysterious atmosphere upon arrival, including the sight of the flowers. I definitely recommend experiencing this in person.

サガリバナは、沖縄・八重山地方において、この時期に咲く花で、しかも夜に花が開く花。夜に移動するので、一人で行くのはしんどいと思い、ツアーに参加しました。
ツアーは、集合後に時間調整をしてから、今回は田福農園さんの庭へと連れて行ってもらい、１時間ほど滞在した後に、送迎してもらうという流れでした。現地はライトアップされていて、小さいながらも楽しめまして、参加してよかったです。しかも、道中はほとんど街灯もない場所ですので、連れて行ってもらった方が安心だと思います。
また、サガリバナの状況をみると、田福農園さんの方は半分ぐらい花が咲き終わった感じでして、６月後半から７月前半までの期間限定のようですので、予定が合えばサガリバナを見に行くのもよいのではないでしょうか。

サガリバナは、咲くと甘いような独特の匂いを発するので、現地に到着すると、花の様子も含めて不思議な感じになります。これは是非とも実際に現地で体験して欲しいです。

My husband was excited about the coconut crab, and I was looking forward to the starry sky. At the meeting point, we received rubber boots from a cheerful and cute female guide as a precaution against the habu snakes.

After getting into the car and arriving at a dark location, the only sound we could hear was the hooting of an owl, which had my husband already thrilled. With the lights we were given, we entered the bushes by the roadside, and surprisingly, it was spacious and easy to walk through, allowing us to explore with peace of mind.

The guide found various creatures, including the purple land hermit crab, and explained them while taking photos for us. After passing through the bushes, we emerged onto the sandy beach, and looking up, we were greeted by a sky full of stars! It was the night of Tanabata, and we could even see the Milky Way. It truly felt like a planetarium, and we were moved for a while!

Later, we explored the bushes again in search of the coconut crab and finally encountered one! In fact, we found two! We took commemorative photos with the coconut crabs, and it was a very satisfying experience. Thank you, guide!

夫はヤシガニ、私は星空がお目当てで参加しました。
集合場所で元気で可愛い女性ガイドさんからハブ対策で全員長靴を貸してもらえました。
車で移動し降りた場所は真っ暗で近くからフクロウの鳴き声だけが聞こえてきて夫は既に大興奮。
配られたライトを手に、え！ここから？という道路脇の茂みの中へ入ると意外にも中は広く歩きやすく安心して探索できました。
ガイドさんがムラサキオカヤドカリなど色々な生き物を見つけては解説してくれて写真も撮ってくれました。
茂みを抜けると海岸の砂浜に出る事ができ、見上げれば満天の星空が！
ちょうど七夕の夜で天の川も確認できました。本当にプラネタリウムのようで、しばし感動の時間！
その後ヤシガニを求め再度茂みを探索すると遂に遭遇！しかも2匹！
ヤシガニと一緒に記念撮影してもらい大満足の時間となりました。

This was my second trip to Ishigaki Island. Instead of marine sports, I participated in a night tour this time.

Unfortunately, the weather was not great, and we couldn't see the stars.

It was drizzling, but the night tour in the rain was exciting and fun.

I was thrilled to see a large coconut crab! I wanted to see a coconut crab, so I was glad I got to see one! They took a lot of photos and sent them to me the same day. Thank you!

We also encountered various creatures like snakes and crabs. The excitement of encountering island wildlife that I can't experience in the city was overwhelming.

マリンスポーツではなく、
今回はナイトツアーに参加しました。

あいにくの天気で星は見えませんでした。

雨がポツポツと降っていましたが、

他にはヘビやカニなど様々な生き物と遭遇。
都内にいると感じられない島の生き物との遭遇にワクワクが止まりませんでした。

It was great that we didn't have to drive, and we had the freedom to choose the start time and destination, making it more flexible than a bus tour. After sightseeing, we rented a car, but since the price wasn't much different, we should have just had them take us to the hotel and arranged for a ride back as well. It was very comfortable.

運転もしなくて良いですし、開始時間も行き先も自分達の自由なのでバスツアーよりも融通が効いてよかったです。観光の後、レンタカーを借りたのてすが、値段的にそれほど変わらないので、ホテルまで送ってもらい、帰りも頼んでしまえばよかったです。とても快適でした。

I took an 8-hour tour around northern Okinawa. I picked out the places I wanted to visit in advance, and the driver created the route considering the sightseeing time at each location. Along the way, the driver took us to recommended shops and even to tourist spots we hadn't researched, which made the experience more enjoyable than we expected! I was also grateful for the photos he took. It was really fun to talk about Okinawa during the drive! If I come back to Okinawa, I would definitely like to use this service again! Thank you very much.

8時間コースで沖縄北部をまわってもらいました。事前に行きたい所をピックアップしておいて、あとは運転手さんが現地での見学時間などを考慮してルートを作ってくださいました。コースの途中、運転手さんのオススメのお店に寄ってくださったり、私たちが調べていなかった観光スポットにも寄ってくださって、思いのほか楽しめました！写真も撮ってくれて有り難かったです。移動中の車内でも沖縄の話を色々してくださって本当に楽しかったです！もしまた沖縄旅行にきた際には利用したいです！ありがとうございました。

I participated because I wanted to meet the coconut crab and other rare creatures.

In addition to the coconut crab, which is a natural monument, and the purple land hermit crab, I was able to see many creatures. I encountered various species unique to Okinawa, such as firefly larvae, the golden chrysalis of the Papilio butterfly, stick insects, scorpions, and many types of crabs and hermit crabs.

On the day of the tour, there were two other groups participating. Although there were several other tour groups, the small group size allowed us to hear the guide's explanations clearly, and we were able to take individual photos with the coconut crab, which was very attentive. They provided long boots for snake protection and lent us flashlights. They taught us everything from safe flashlight usage to explanations about the creatures and constellations. We also had the opportunity to take commemorative photos with the coconut crab. The shuttle service to the port was also appreciated.

I happened to have some free time when I used Ishigaki Port, so I went to the planetarium there to prepare, which enhanced my enjoyment of the starry sky.

Considering that there were other participants and time constraints, if you want to take your time, it might be better to research and go on your own rather than join a tour like this. However, the advantages are that you don’t need to rent a car, you can go hands-free, and you can enjoy it safely without any prior knowledge. Plus, it’s very affordable and you can participate on the day, which I think is a great point.

ヤシガニや珍しい生き物に会いたくて参加しました。

天然記念物であるヤシガニやムラサキオカヤドカリの他、沢山の生き物を見ることができました。蛍の幼虫や、金色に輝くオオゴマダラの蛹、ナナフシ、サソリモドキ、色々な種類のカニやヤドカリ、へびなど沖縄にしかいない生き物に沢山会えました。

当日は他に2組一緒に参加されている方がいました。他にも何グループかツアーの方がいましたが、少人数ごとのグループなのでガイドの方の話も聞き逃すことなく、個別にヤシガニと写真を撮っていただけたり手厚かったです。
ヘビ対策の長靴や、懐中電灯を貸していただけました。安全な懐中電灯の使い方から、生き物の説明、星座の説明などなんでも教えていただけます。また、ヤシガニとの記念撮影もしてくれました。
港まで送迎があるのもありがたかったです。

たまたま石垣港を利用した際に空き時間があったので、そこにあるプラネタリウムに行って予習をしていたのでより星空も楽しめました。

他にも参加されている方がいることや、時間に限りがあることなどもあり、じっくりみたい場合はこのようなツアーでなく自分で調べて行くのが良いかもしれませんが、レンタカー借りなくていいし、手ぶらでいいし、なんの知識がなくても安全に楽しむことができるのに、当日参加できるしとても安くコスパが良いというのが良い点だと思います。

We participated in a sea turtle snorkeling tour with one adult and two children. Our guide, Matsuura, was very kind to the kids and maintained a perfect pace for us. I'm also grateful for the photos taken on the same day that were sent to us. It became a wonderful memory.

大人1人、子供2人でウミガメシュノーケルに参加しました。ガイドの松浦さんは、子供達にとても優しく、ちょうどいいペースで進めて下さいました。
同日中に撮ってもらった写真も送ってくださり感謝しています。とてもいい思い出になりました。

I was looking forward to diving in Miyako Island, but other shops canceled their dives due to boat repairs, so I hurried to find a shop. I had never tried stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) before, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any turtles while snorkeling, but the staff were friendly, and I had a great time even on my own.

I've been to Iriomote Island several times, but this was my first time staying overnight, so I participated in the night tour and stargazing!

In the afternoon, there was a long downpour, and I thought it might be canceled, but it went ahead safely, and I really enjoyed it! I was a bit worried about the night tour since I'm not good with bugs, but since I was already in Iriomote Island, I decided to give it a try. It was full of first-time experiences, and I had a great time and got really excited (laughs).

I saw a huge coconut crab, and for the first time, I also saw a habu snake, along with creatures I had never seen or heard of before (laughs). The starry sky was absolutely stunning! The guide even took photos for us and sent them, so those who participate can also receive photos (^^).

西表島は何回か来てるけど泊まった事がなく、今回初めて泊まりにしたのでナイトツアー&星空鑑賞に参加しました！
当日の午後は長い時間スコールで、これは中止になるかも？と思いながらも無事に開催されて堪能出来ました！
虫が苦手なのでナイトツアーはどうかなと思ってましたが、せっかく西表島に来てるんだから行ってみようと思い参加しましたが初めての事だらけで楽しくてテンション上がりました（笑）
でっかいヤシガニも見れたし初めてハブも見たし、見た事も聞いた事もない生き物も見たし（笑）
満天の星空も見れたし最高でした！写真もお兄さん撮ってくれて送ってくれたので参加する方は写真も頂けますよ(^^)

We used this service to commemorate our 10th wedding anniversary trip. The staff kindly helped us pose for photos, and they patiently waited for the clouds over the Milky Way to clear. Their attentive and heartfelt service made the experience wonderful. Of course, the finished photos were lovely and became cherished memories.

I read somewhere that wearing light-colored clothing is recommended, so we wore white, but if you want the people in the photo to be silhouetted against the starry sky, darker clothing might be better.

結婚10周年旅行の記念に利用させていただきました。写真に撮られ慣れない私たちにポーズをつけてくださったり、天の川にかかった雲が抜けるのを待ってくださったりと丁寧で心ある対応をしていただけました。もちろん出来上がったお写真も素敵で良き思い出となりました。
どこかで白っぽい服装がおすすめと見かけたので白い服で挑みましたが、人物をシルエットのようにして星空メインの写真としたい場合は黒っぽい服装の方が良いかもしれません。

I participated because I wanted to see the coconut crab. I was able to see three of them, and I also saw a coconut crab climbing a tree powerfully. We also spotted frogs and insects, and the children were engrossed in searching for them. Although it was nighttime and I was a bit worried about the ground, the guide encouraged us, and we were able to enjoy the experience like an exploration team, cooperating with the other participants. The starry sky was breathtaking, and we even saw shooting stars. It seems like every time you participate, you can get excited about new discoveries.

ヤシガニを見てみたく参加しました。3匹見れて、力強く木登りをするヤシガニも見れました。カエルや昆虫なども見れ、子供さんも探すのに夢中になっていました。夜なので足元が心配かもしれませんが、ガイドさんが声かけしてくれ、参加したメンバーで協力しながら探検隊の様な感じで楽しく参加できました。満天の星で感動し、流れ星も見れました。いつ参加してもその時の発見でワクワクできそうです。

This summer marks our 29th wedding anniversary, and we visited Miyako Island for the first time. As a couple approaching our sixties, we joined a tour. True to the claim of a 99% chance of encountering sea turtles, we saw four of them! Our guide, Kometchi, was kind and great at taking photos! It became a wonderful memory. Next time, I want to invite our children to join us!

結婚して29年目の夏、初めての宮古島。還暦少し前の夫婦でツアーに参加。ウミガメ遭遇率99%と謳っている通り、4匹のウミガメに遭遇！ガイドのこめっち君も親切で、撮影も上手！素晴らしい思い出になりました。今度は子供達を誘って参加したいです！

During my first trip to Okinawa, I definitely wanted to go snorkeling! Luckily, I found this mangrove SUP or canoe tour. I was a bit anxious since it was my first time participating in a tour, but I was informed the day before and was able to join without any issues. Our tour guide, Sho-chan, explained everything about the island in detail, and it was incredibly fun! I was able to create unforgettable memories, thank you very much! I will definitely participate again!!!

今回初めての沖縄旅行で、沖縄に来たら絶対にシュノーケルだけはしたい！と思っていた所ちょうど良かったのがこのマングローブSUP or カヌーツアーでした。初めてのツアー参加で不安があったんですが問題無く前日に知らせて頂き参加する事ができました。ツアーガイドのしょうちゃんが島の事を詳しく説明してくれたりめちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！

The move to the point was quick, taking about 15 minutes! There were many families, but the staff were very friendly, and everyone was smiling and having a great time. We found not only the sea turtles but also Dory, Nemo's friend, and we were so excited! The large rice balls for lunch on Hatoma Island were delicious, and we took a stroll to the lighthouse during our break. I was happy to receive beautiful photos as well. I would love to do this again next time! ♡

家族連れの方もたくさんいましたが、スタッフさんがとても親切で皆さん笑顔で楽しんでいました。

The main purpose of this trip was to see the Milky Way, and I thought it would be great to take some photos as well, so I searched various sites and came across this one. My impression is simply that I’m glad I asked for it! The staff and the photographer were friendly, and I was able to enjoy the shoot while receiving various pieces of advice. I had been looking forward to my trip to Okinawa, but it was quite challenging for members who couldn't drive! Usually, we reluctantly opt for a tour with a guide, but in Okinawa, many schedules have you arriving in the evening and leaving in the morning, which feels wasteful. So, I booked a hotel and flights through a travel agency and signed up for a one-day tour in the middle of my stay. They picked me up at 9 AM from my hotel in Chatan and dropped me back off, which was really convenient! The places I wanted to visit were all included, making it perfect for someone who can't drive! I stayed at a hotel in Chatan for multiple nights, but reflecting on it, if I had arranged for the pickup from the Chatan hotel and the drop-off at a hotel in Naha for the return, it would have made the last day's travel much easier. While tours with a guide are cheaper and allow for sightseeing at various places, the airplane seats can be separated, and the hotel quality can be significantly lower... This time was really good, so I would like to use this service again!

The weather in Okinawa was unpredictable; it was sunny one moment and then cloudy or rainy the next. This was not the tour's fault at all, but if we could have done indoor sightseeing first or had more flexibility with the weather and time, it would have been perfect. I was especially looking forward to Kouri Island, but I was saddened to be caught in the rain there temporarily. The guide was also very engaging and made the trip enjoyable. I would like to use this service again, so thank you!

行きたかった沖縄旅行、運転できないメンバーにはなかなかハードルが高くて！いつもは仕方なく添乗員同行ツアーにするのですが、沖縄だと夕方ついて帰りも午前中帰るスケジュールが多くもったいないのでホテルと飛行機を旅行会社でとり、中日にこちらの1日ツアーを申し込みました。9時に北谷のホテルからピックアップ、帰りもホテルまで送ってくれるので本当に楽でした！行きたかった場所もしっかり入っていて、運転できない身としては神！北谷のホテルに連泊したのですが、このツアーを使うなら、北谷のホテルでピックアップしてもらって、帰りは那覇のホテルに送ってもらう、にしたら最終日の移動がもっと楽だったなぁ、などと反省。添乗員同行ツアーだと安くてあちこち観光に行けるけど飛行機の座席が離れたり、ホテルのランクがかなり下だったり…で。今回とても良かったのでまた利用したいと思いました！
沖縄の天気は気まぐれで晴れていたのに雲がかかったりスコールが通ったり。ツアーのせいではまったくないのですが、室内観光を先にしたり天気と時間の融通がきいたら満点です。1番楽しみにしていた古宇利島だけ一時的に雨に降られてしまって悲しかったので。
ガイドさんもいろいろ話してくれて楽しい旅が出来ました。また利用したいと思いますのでよろしくお願いします。

I participated in a mangrove stand-up paddleboarding tour in the morning and a snorkeling tour at Barasu Island in the afternoon. It was great to have an experience that was packed with the charm of Iriomote Island. The guides were all kind, and the stories they shared during the tour and on the way to and from the location were enjoyable. The stand-up paddleboarding felt like an adventure as we navigated through the mangrove forest. The snorkeling at Barasu Island had amazing water clarity, truly resembling a dragon palace. I took many photos and had a highly satisfying experience. Thank you very much!

午前中マングローブサップ午後からバラス島シュノーケルのツアーに参加しました。西表島の魅力がギュッと詰まった体験ができてよかったです。ガイドのお兄さんお姉さんみなさん親切でツアー中だけでなく送迎の道中に話して下さるお話も楽しかったです。サップはマングローブ群の中を進む冒険感がワクワクしました。バラス島シュノーケルは海の透明度が素晴らしくまさに竜宮城のようでした。写真も沢山撮ってもらい大変満足度の高い体験でした。ありがとうございました！

In the morning, I experienced stand-up paddleboarding, and in the afternoon, snorkeling at Balas Island. The stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing took place in a calm area, so while my lower body got a bit wet and I wasn't very confident in my core strength, I was able to enjoy the scenery slowly without falling off the board.

The snorkeling at Balas Island was truly moving because of the colorful marine life! The support from the guides was very reassuring. I was able to fully enjoy the beauty of nature, and it became a memorable experience. Thank you for taking such beautiful photos!

サップ＆カヌーは波も緩やかな場所でしたので、最初に下半身が濡れるくらいで体幹に自信はないながらも、ボードから落ちることなく景色を見渡しながらゆっくり楽しめました☆

I visited Miyako Island without making too many plans, and since I was there, I signed up for a tour. Matsuura-san guided us, and she was very pleasant. Also, she helped my friend, who doesn't have much stamina, by pulling her along with a float to the spots.

As they claim a 99% encounter rate with sea turtles, we were able to meet them quite easily, and we got to see them feeding in the clear waters for a long time up close! I heard that depending on the time, you can encounter even more turtles, so I plan to request this tour again when I visit Miyako Island next time.

予定をあまり組まずに宮古島を訪れ折角なのでとツアーに申し込みました。
松浦さんが案内してくれましたが、とても感じが良く、また、スポットまで浮き輪で引っ張っていってもらえて体力があまりない彼女は助かったと言っていました。

ウミガメ遭遇率99%をうたっているだけありカメにはあっさりと出会うことが出来、透明度の高い海で長時間餌を食べている様子を間近で見ることができました！
時間によってはもっと多くのカメに出会えるとのこと、また宮古島に行く際にはお願いしようと思います。

Good trip to discover the island of Okinawa and the aquarium - more material in English needed as the audioguides had insufficient info and connection. Very nice guide for japanese speaking visitors.

The instructor was very kind, and above all, the ocean was incredibly beautiful. It was my first time snorkeling, and I was quite anxious, but thanks to the careful guidance, I was able to relax and enjoy it.

インストラクターのお姉さんもすごく優しく、なにより海がすごく綺麗でした。
シュノーケル自体初めてでとても不安でしたが、丁寧に教えていただいたおかげでリラックスして楽しめました。

I had been wanting to sign up for this for a while but hadn't been able to, so this time I joined the starry sky photo tour to capture the Milky Way! I was nervous, but the friendly conversation eased my anxiety and tension before I knew it! They asked about the poses I wanted and also took some recommended poses for me! The photos I received were far more beautiful than I had imagined, and they became truly wonderful memories! While it's nice to take pictures with my own smartphone or camera, having a professional photographer capture them is simply the best! I fell even more in love with the starry sky and Miyako Island! I highly recommend this! Thank you very much!

The singing on the bus was wonderful, and the stories were very interesting. I was completely captivated by the singing; it was very skillful.

While riding the bus, we were taken to various places, and there were detailed explanations along the way. Both the singing and the chatting were excellent, making for a very enjoyable time.

This was a tour I participated in on the last day of my trip, and I was able to get off at Ishigaki Airport, which was very helpful. I had been wondering how to get to the airport from the hotel on the final day, so it was a fun experience to arrive at the airport while enjoying the bus tour.

I highly recommend it! By the way, it was a solo trip without a rental car.

バスのなかで歌ってくださり、お話しもとても面白かった。歌は聞き入ってしまったとてもお上手でした。
バスに乗っていればいろんな所につれてってくれて、途中全て詳しく説明があり、歌もおしゃべりもとってもお上手で、とても楽しい時間でした。
旅の最終日に参加したツアーなんですが、石垣空港で途中下車も出来て、それがとても助かりました。最終日ホテルからどうやって空港にいこうかと考えてたので、バスツアー利用しながらの空港着という楽しい時間でした。

Every year, I have my summer vacation in Ishigaki Island. Until now, I participated in island-hopping tours, but since I've been to all the islands, I joined a tour for the Blue Cave and snorkeling that I had been curious about. My niece, who was just starting snorkeling, was a bit awkward, but the guide was very attentive and supportive, and she said it was incredibly fun. She has completely fallen in love with snorkeling. Thank you so much for the photos and videos. I would like to participate again next year.

毎年恒例の石垣島️の夏休み。今までは離島ツアーに参加してましたが、離島は行き尽くしたので、気になっていた青の洞窟とシュノーケルのツアーに参加しました。同行の姪はシュノーケル始めたばかりでぎこちないのですが、ガイドさんが丁寧にフォローしてくださり、ものすごく楽しかったと。すっかりシュノーケルにはまってしまいました。写真や動画、たくさんありがとうございました。来年も参加したいと思っています。

■ Experience

I wanted to see the starry sky and meet various insects and creatures. This tour fulfilled both of our wishes, making it a win-win experience.

The untouched Yara Peninsula, where hardly anyone lives, is one of those places that are hard to reach without a tour.

Each person was given a flashlight and rubber boots, and we searched for creatures while illuminating above, below, and to the sides as we ventured through the jungle.

Whenever someone found something, no matter how small, the guides would stop and explain everything in detail.

There were truly many creatures hiding around, and the sense of unity when we discovered a coconut crab was incredible! We spotted four coconut crabs that day—what luck!

The guides had a wealth of knowledge and provided interesting explanations, covering topics from rare plants to the ecology of giant coconut crabs, as well as stories about shooting stars and seasonal constellations. It was very educational.

The climax of the tour was enjoying a starry sky that resembled a natural planetarium with a 360° horizon. I was genuinely moved by the countless stars stretching endlessly and the shooting stars.

They also taught us how to photograph the starry sky with our iPhones, and the photo session was a lot of fun.

At the end, we received beautiful photos of the creatures we found and the starry sky as gifts. They also took a couple of photos of us, creating wonderful memories.

■ Personal Items That Were Good to Bring

- Drinks
→ Once you get in the car, you might end up in an area where there are no vending machines or convenience stores, so make sure to secure drinks in advance.

- Towel (or sweat wipes)
→ I wore long sleeves and long pants to prevent insect bites and injuries from plants, but it was really hot, and I sweated a lot.

However, I think there were fewer harmful insects than I expected, so maybe it wasn't necessary to be so strict about wearing long sleeves and long pants.

- Leisure sheet
→ When looking up at the starry sky, sitting on the sandy beach can become uncomfortable over time. I happened to bring a leisure sheet, which allowed me to lie down comfortably while gazing at the stars.

- Mini tripod for iPhone
Using night mode, I was able to photograph the starry sky with my iPhone, and by setting up the tripod to prevent camera shake, I could capture even more stars with my camera.

■ 体験談

私は星空が見たい、色んな虫や生き物に会いたい彼。
双方の願いを叶えてくれる一挙両得なツアーでした。

ほとんど人が住んでいない手付かずの屋良部半島は、
ツアーじゃないとなかなか行けない場所の一つでした。

一人一つライトと長靴を配られ、
上や下や横を照らしながら生き物を探し、ジャングルを進みました。

誰かが何かを見つけた時には、
些細なものでも立ち止まって一つ一つ丁寧に説明して下さいました。

本当にたくさんの生き物が潜んでいて、
ヤシガニを発見した時の一体感はすごかったですw
この日はヤシガニだけで４匹現れました。まさに強運！

ガイドのお兄さんたちの知識がとても豊富で、説明も面白く、
珍しい植物の話、小さな虫から、巨大なヤシガニの生態、
流れ星や季節の星座の話まで、とても勉強になりました。

ツアーのクライマックスは、
まるで360°地平線の天然プラネタリウムのような満天の星空を観賞。
どこまでも広がる無数の星たちと流れ星に本当に感動しました。

自分たちのiPhoneで星空を撮影する方法も教えていただき、
各自、撮影会も楽しかったです。

最後に、ツアーで見つけた生物や星空の綺麗な写真をプレゼントしていただきました。ツーショット写真も撮っていただき、大変思い出になりました。

■ 個人的に持っていって良かった持ち物

・飲み物
→一回車に乗ってしまうと、自動販売機やコンビニが見当たらない地域に行ってしまうので事前に飲み物は確保しましょう。

・タオル (or 汗拭きシート)
→虫刺されや植物による怪我防止の為、長袖長ズボンを履いていったのですが、とにかく熱いので汗がたくさん流れます。

でも思ったより害的な虫は少なくて、そこまでガチガチに長袖長ズボンじゃなくても良かったのかなとも思っています。

・レジャーシート
→星空を見上げるとき、砂浜に座って空を見上げながら星空を観賞するので、だんだんと体勢がキツくなります。たまたま持参していたレジャーシートを広げて寝っ転がりながら、楽に星空を眺めることができました。

・iPhone用のミニ三脚
ナイトモードを駆使して、自分のiPhoneで星空を撮影することができるので、
手振れ防止の為に三脚を広げて置くことで、より多くの星をカメラでキャッチすることができます。
