受付から、このツアーチームのプロフェッショナリズムを感じることができました。印刷されたツアー資料とツアーガイド（日本人女性のジュエルさん）による英語の紹介があり、訪問前に全体的な概要を把握することができました。訪問中、彼女は私たちのグループ写真を撮る手伝いをしてくれたり、妻のために熱いお湯を持ってきてくれたりしました。
天候はかなり暑く湿気がありましたが、美しい景色と訪問地の豊かな歴史にとても満足しました。最も重要なのは、ツアーガイドとドライバーがとても親切で助けてくれたことです。

From the reception, we can feel the professionalism of this tour team. With printed tour materials and English introduction from tour guide (Japanese Lady Ms Jewell), we can get some general view before visiting. During visit, she helped us taking group photos and even helped to fetch some hot water for my wife.
Though the weather was quite hot and humid, but we still felt very satisfied with the beautiful view and rich history of visiting points. Most importantly, the tour guide and driver are very friendly and helpful.

This is more of an experience report or feedback, but the tour guide was very kind and unique, making the experience enjoyable. However, I was looking forward to the Kyoto tofu meal that was included, but unfortunately, there was only a little bit of tofu, which was disappointing.

体験談というか感想になってしまいますが、添乗員さんがとても親切かつユニークな方で、楽しく参加させていただきました。でも、京豆腐御膳付きってあったので楽しみにしていたのですが、豆腐がほんの少ししかなくて残念でした。

Since it was my parents' first time in Kyoto, we decided to hire a veteran taxi service and chose a six-hour course.

During the reservation stage, I thought the places we wanted to visit (Fushimi Inari, Teradaya, Kinkaku-ji, Ryōan-ji, Mibudera) might be a bit too many. However, I included a plan that catered to my father, who loves Sakamoto Ryōma and the Shinsengumi. The day before, I received a confirmation call saying, "You might not be able to visit all the places, but you can discuss it with the driver." On the day of the tour, after talking with the driver, we were able to visit not only all the pick-up spots but also many places related to Sakamoto Ryōma, such as the path he frequented, the Ikedaya incident site, his last resting place, Nijo Castle, and the site of Honno-ji! My father, as well as my mother and I, thoroughly enjoyed Kyoto.

For lunch, we were taken to a recommended soba restaurant where we could eat leisurely. Thank you, Mr. Kumagai, for your wonderful smile!

両親と初の京都ということで、ベテランタクシーさんにお願いしようと６時間コースを選びました。

予約段階で行きたい所（伏見稲荷、寺田屋、金閣寺、龍安寺、壬生寺）少し多いかな？とも思いながら、坂本龍馬や新撰組が大好きな父に寄せたプランを入れておきました。前日に確認TELで「ドライバーと相談してですが、全部は回れないかも」と言われましたが当日ドライバーさんと色んな話をしたところ、ピックアップ全てだけではなく、坂本龍馬ゆかりの道や池田屋跡地、坂本龍馬最後の地、二条城、本能寺跡地など沢山回って頂きました！
父はもちろん、母と私も京都を満喫出来ました。

お昼はおススメのお蕎麦屋さんに連れて行ってもらい、ゆっくり食べれました。
笑顔が素敵な熊谷さんありがとうございました！

I am Japanese and participated alone. The guide (a Japanese person) provided explanations in English for inbound guests. There were several Japanese participants, including myself. The schedule was followed, and there was free time at various locations, allowing for a certain degree of relaxation.

【Points of Concern】
The guide's treatment towards me was somewhat dismissive.

(1) When I arrived at the bus stop before the meeting time, the guide said, "I forgot my smartphone at the bus stop. What time is it now?" and then poked my smartphone that I was holding with his finger quite forcefully. Even if there was no ill intent, what? That was too rude. It's not yours! Don't touch other people's things without permission!

(2) During lunch at Kiyomizu Temple, the guide explained to a foreign traveler who ordered the same meal as me, "If you don't know how to eat it, just watch how she (pointing at me) eats and learn!" while laughing (in English).
Huh? It's my first time eating this too, so don't say such careless things! You might have thought I didn't understand English, but I major in foreign language literature and can understand the guide's English just fine.
(In the end, I was able to ask the restaurant staff how to eat it. The foreign traveler didn't ask me about how to eat it.)

【Was the treatment towards foreigners polite...?】
While I felt the treatment towards me was rough, I noticed that the inbound guests were treated very kindly. Even though it was a 9:30 departure, they waited for foreign travelers who were 5-10 minutes late (which caused a slight delay in our departure), and the schedule was explained repeatedly. Was it really necessary to say the same thing so many times? It felt overly protective, like a mother. Was it too much?

日本人です。一人で参加しました。
インバウンドのお客さん向けのためガイドさん(日本人)は英語での説明です。私含め何組か日本人参加者もおりました。　スケジュールどおりに回れるのと、各所で自由時間が設けられるので、ある程度はのびのびできました。

【気になった点】
担当ガイドさんの私への対応がちょっとした対応です。

(1)集合時間前にバス停へ来た時、「スマホをバス停の中に忘れてしまった。いま何時？」と仰って、私が手に持ってたスマホを指でポンポン強めに叩いたこと。悪気はないにせよ、何？失礼すぎるやろ。あんたのもんちゃうで！人様のもんに勝手に触らんといてや！

(2)清水寺のランチにて。私と同じ御膳を頼んだ外国人旅行者に対して、「食べ方が分からなかったら、日本人の彼女(私の方を手で刺して)の食べ方を見て習ってね〜」などとケラケラ笑って説明してること(英語)。
(ﾟДﾟ)ﾊｧ〜?私だって初めての食事なんやぞ、適当なこと抜かすな！
英語がわからないからって思ってたんかもしれんが、こちらは外国語文学の専攻や、ガイドさんの喋る英語くらい、私も分かるで？
(結局、レストランのスタッフさんに食べ方は伺えました。外国人の方からも食べ方については聞かれませんでした)

【外国人への対応は丁寧…？】
私への対応は雑に感じましたが、一方のインバウンドのお客様にはメチャ優しかったと感じます。9時半出発なのに5〜10分遅れた外国人旅行者はまってあげたり(その御蔭でちょっと出発時間遅れたな)、タイムスケジュールの説明を幾度となく行ったり。そんな何度も同じこと言わんでもええんちゃう？過保護過ぎなオカンみたいな感じでした。オーバーTooリズムでは？

I met up with my friends at Kyoto Station, and after being picked up by taxi just after 9 AM, we did some sightseeing and were taken to Kibune Beniyasan around 1 PM.

I had informed them in advance about a few places I wanted to visit, but I was surprised that they not only took us there but also provided detailed guidance at each location.

The timing was perfect, and they drove safely, showing gentlemanly behavior during boarding and alighting. They were the best guide!

It was definitely worth the money! If my friends and I had gone by rental car, the narrow roads to Kibune, where buses pass by, would have been difficult to drive, and we might not have made it in time... More importantly, it would have been hard to get everyone in the photos together.

It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

京都駅で友人たちと待ち合わせ、9時過ぎにタクシーにピックアップしていただき、観光をいくつかして、貴船べにやさんまで13時過ぎに送っていただきました。

行きたい場所を前もっていくつかお知らせしていたのですが、連れていってくれるだけかと思いきや、訪問先の詳しいガイドまでしてくださって驚きました。

時間配分もピッタリだったし、安全運転、乗降時には紳士的な対応をしていただき、最高のガイドさんでした。

お金を払う価値は絶対あります！
友人たちだけでレンタカーで行っていたら、貴船までの細くてバスと行き交う道は運転しにくかっただろうし時間も間に合っていたか…、なにより友達全員と写真におさまるのも難しかったでしょう。

素敵な思い出になりました。
本当にありがとうございました。

The driver kindly explained about the temples in Kyoto, and it was a very enjoyable time and experience. It was unfortunate that I couldn't book my first choice date; since it became the second choice date, I changed the pickup time and location, but it was disappointing that the reservation change wasn't processed. I think there is a need for improvement in the reservation system.

ドライバーの方が丁寧に京都のお寺に関して説明してくださり、とても楽しい時間と体験でした。第一希望日が予約出来なかったのが残念でした、第二希望日になったのでピックアップ時間と場所を変更したのですが予約変更出来てなかったのが残念でした。予約システムの改善が必要かと思いました。

It was a fulfilling trip with my daughter, who was visiting Kyoto for the first time. We were able to visit four sightseeing spots. The guide was very kind and wonderful. The sightseeing bus tour was very enjoyable.

京都に初めて行く娘と二人旅。観光名所を4ヵ所も回れて充実した旅行になりました。ガイドの方がとても優しくて素晴らしかったです。観光バスの旅はとても楽でした。

We participated with a friend in a day trip to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, and Arashiyama. In the morning, it rained heavily like a storm, but the forecast said it would clear up by noon, and indeed, the rain stopped before noon, gradually turning into a beautiful blue sky.

We walked more than we expected, and by the time we arrived at Arashiyama, our legs were shaking. Just when we were worried about whether we could walk any further, a rickshaw appeared in front of us! My friend suggested we ride it, and I agreed! So, we took our very first rickshaw ride. What impressed us the most was the character of the rickshaw puller. He stopped at various points to take photos for us, and he was like a skilled photographer. The shots he took looked like they were from a studio, and both my friend and I were moved by them. The fatigue in our legs disappeared in an instant, and it became a lifelong memory.

The tour guide and the driver were also wonderful people. I truly felt that I would love to travel with them again on a bus trip. It was a fantastic bus trip. Thank you very much.

伏見稲荷大社より清水寺、嵐山を1日で巡れるものならと友人と参加させていただきました。
午前中は嵐のような雨で昼から上がる予報の雨は午前中の内にあがり、次第に青空へと快晴に変わりました。
思った以上の歩きに、嵐山に着く時には足はガクガク。歩けるだろうかと心配していた私達の目の前には人力車が！！友人が乗って見ようよ！私もいいね！と思いは一致し、人生初の人力車に乗りました。何より感動したのは、人力車を引く方の人柄、所々で止まって下さり、写真を撮って下さいましたが腕の良いカメラマンのよう。スタジオで撮影して頂いたようなショットばかりに私も友人も感動し、足の疲れも一瞬で吹っ飛び、一生の思い出になりました。

添乗員さん、運転手さんのお人柄も最高でした。
また、この方達とご一緒にバス旅行でお会いしたいなと心から思えた素敵なバス旅行になりました。

I used the 5-hour free plan, and since it had been a while since my last visit to Kyoto during my school trip, I left the course planning to the guide.

Thanks to the guide sharing interesting tidbits and valuable information that we don't learn in school, the time flew by, and I ended up asking for an extension.

The guide was very knowledgeable and kind, fulfilling all of our requests, which made for a very meaningful sightseeing experience in Kyoto.

I definitely want to use this service again next time.

とりあえず5時間のフリープランで利用させていただきましたが、修学旅行以来の京都でしたのでガイドさんお任せでコース決めていただきました。
学校で教わらない豆知識や貴重な情報を交えながらガイドいただいたおかげであっという間に予定の時間が過ぎてしまい、思わず延長をお願いしちゃいました

ガイドさんがとても物知りで親切な方で、こちらの要望を全て叶えてくださりとても有意義な京都観光をすることが出来ました。

The guide is experienced and provides information in both English and Japanese. It feels like a little trip abroad. It's a busy tour, and you must strictly adhere to the schedule.

ガイドさんが経験豊富で英語と日本語交互に案内します。プチ海外に行ったようです。忙しいツアーです。時間厳守は必ず守らないといけません。

I realized that taking a taxi is the best option for efficiently visiting tourist attractions within a limited time. I was able to stop at other sightseeing spots, including the places I requested when making the reservation, take photos, and receive guidance, which made me very satisfied.

限られた時間の中、観光名所を効率よく周るのに、タクシーは最適と実感。予約時にリクエストした場所を含め、他の観光地にも寄る事ができ、写真を撮ってもらい、ガイドもしていただき大満足です。

I was quite anxious that the guide would only speak English, but it was great that the tour conductor and the driver provided explanations in Japanese as well. The tour conductor was charming and easy to talk to, and the driver was kind and drove safely. I would like to use this service again.

ガイドが英語のみかなとかなり不安でしたが、添乗員さんや運転手さんがキチンと日本語でも説明してくれて良かったです。添乗員さんもチャーミングな方で話しかけ安かったですし運転手さんも優しくて、安全運転で良かったです。また、利用したいです。

They took us to the sightseeing spots we wanted to visit, and it was convenient to travel by bus. However, I was surprised to find that there were only two groups of Japanese people, including us, as I didn't expect it to be aimed at inbound tourists.

行きたい観光地に連れて行ってくれて、バス移動で楽でした。ただ、インバウンド客向けとは思わずに申し込んだら、まさかの日本人は自分たちを含めて2組でビックリしました。

Thanks to the driver, we had a great time on our trip to Kyoto. The kids were also very satisfied. Thank you very much. I would like to use your services again next time.

On the third day of our trip to Kyoto, we used this taxi service as a family! It was early June, and the temperature in Kyoto reached 30°C on that day, so it was really great to have this option, especially since we had kids and luggage on our last day!

On the first and second days, the taxi drivers we had were quite chatty, and I prefer to have a quiet ride, so I was a bit anxious. However, the driver this time was very calm and composed, which was really nice!

In five hours, we were able to start at Arashiyama and visit Ryoan-ji, Kinkaku-ji, Kitano Tenmangu, and Yasaka Shrine! The kids wanted to stay in the car due to the heat at Kinkaku-ji, but the driver was very accommodating, allowing my husband and me to explore together. He dropped us off at the places we wanted, making it the perfect final day! Our whole family was very satisfied!

If we have the opportunity to use this service again, we would be very grateful!

京都旅行3日目に、こちらのタクシーを家族で利用しました！6月頭でしたが利用した日は京都では30℃と暑かったうえ、子供連れ最終日で荷物もあったので利用出来て本当に良かったです！
1日目、2日目と移動に使ったタクシーの運ちゃんが結構お喋りで移動中は静かに過ごしたいタイプだったので、不安でしたが運転手さんも、とても穏やかな方で運転も落ち着いていて本当に良かったです！
5時間で嵐山スタートで龍安寺、金閣寺、北野天満宮、八坂神社を回る事が出来ました！金閣寺からは子供達が暑さから車で待機したいとの事でしたが快く見ていてくれて主人と2人で観光する事も出来ました。希望した所で下ろして頂いて最高の最終日でした！家族みんな大満足です！
次また利用する機会がありましたらよろしくお願い致します！

Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather and my elderly mother, I thought a long walking tour would be difficult, so I consulted with the driver. They provided alternative options and switched the focus to sightseeing from the car. Thank you very much.

The three-hour course allowed us to specify the places we wanted to visit, and they were very flexible in accommodating our requests, which was great. I brought my elderly father along, and they made sure to choose shorter walking paths and adjusted the pace to help us manage. When walking became tiring, we were able to take a taxi to visit the attractions and enjoy sightseeing from the car, which I think was very beneficial for older travelers on a hot day. Additionally, the driver's detailed explanations at each site made a significant difference; having those insights added great value to the experience.

３時間コースでこちらが行きたい場所を言って回ってもらうかたちでしたが、柔軟に対応していただき、とてもよかったです。年老いた父親を連れていましたが、なるべく歩く道が短くなるように、また歩くペースも気を使ってもらって何とか周りきれました。歩くのがつかれるとタクシーで名所を回って車内から観光もできて、暑い日の年配者にはとてもよかったと思います。また、運転手さんの各名所での説明がとても詳しく、説明があるとないとでは大違いで、そちらがとても価値があると思います。

I participated in the Kyoto bus tour with Veltra for the first time. On the day of the tour, the explanations from the tour guide were clear, and the English explanations for the international guests were easy to understand. It was a fun bus tour. Thank you to the guide and the driver.

During my first visit to Kyoto, I was able to visit almost all the famous places. I wanted to see the Buddha statue at Rokuharamitsu-ji, so I took advantage of the free time at Kiyomizu-dera to go see it. The weather was bad, so I used a taxi just that once, but I was still able to have lunch and make it back in time for the meeting.

I was worried about the English language as a foreign visitor, but the tour guide was very good at Japanese and could understand English as well, which made for a great experience participating in this tour.

初めての京都で、有名な所をほぼまわることができました。私は、六波羅蜜寺で仏像が見たかったので、清水寺の自由時間を利用して、見に行くことができました。天気が悪かったので、その時だけタクシーを利用しましたが、お昼を食べても集合時間に間に合う事ができました。
訪日外国人向けで英語を心配していましたが、添乗員さんはとても日本語がお上手でしたし、英語も聞き取ることができ、こういったツアーに参加することで良い体験ができました。

Maria always kept us informed about the time, which helped everyone in the tour stay on schedule and ensured that the tour went smoothly (it was a group of nearly 50 people). I think it must have been very challenging to provide explanations in both English and Japanese using so many photos, but even for me as a Japanese person, there was a lot to learn for the first time. I'm grateful to our guide, Maria. It's a great value tour, so I definitely recommend it.

Tour guide, Maria was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I chose a bus tour because Kyoto can get crowded. The sightseeing was smooth, and it was fun to be on a tour with mostly foreigners, about 90% of the participants. The guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese, which made it easy to understand. However, it was difficult to find a place for lunch at Kiyomizu-dera, so I appreciated the tour that included lunch. Unfortunately, the lunch we received was completely different from the reference photo, which was disappointing. Still, the taste was good.

混み合う京都なので　バスツアーを選びました。
名所巡りもスムーズに出来て　外国人混在で
9割が外国人のツアーで楽しかったです。
ガイドさんも英語日本語で解説して下さり
わかりやすかったです。
ただ　清水寺でランチを取るのは難しいので
ランチ付きツアーで助かりましたが
ランチの参考写真とは　全く違うランチでした
ので残念でした。　それでも味は良かったです。

There were only two of us Japanese, but Mr. Yamamoto's English guide was very easy to understand and educational. Mr. Sasaki, the driver, also greeted us very pleasantly. It was my first time at Fushimi Inari, and I could see why so many foreigners visit; it has a mystical beauty. If there are any other interesting tours, I would definitely like to participate.

日本人は私達、2人だけでしたが、山本さんの英語のガイドはとても分かりやすく、勉強になりました。
ドライバーのササキさんもとても気持ちの良い挨拶をしてくださる方でした。
伏見稲荷は初めてでしたが、外国の方がこぞって訪れるのがわかる神秘的な華やかさがありました。また、なにか興味をひくツアーがあれば、是非サンカしたいと思います。

We departed from Kyoto Station around 9 AM and visited Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama. It was crowded due to Golden Week, but the bus ran on time, allowing us to explore each tourist spot comfortably.

The tour guide provided clear explanations in both English and Japanese, making the travel time enjoyable.

I would like to use this service again.

午前9時過ぎに京都駅前を出発し伏見稲荷、清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山を巡りました。ゴールデンウィークで混雑していましたがバスは時間通り走ってくれて各観光地も余裕もって見学できました。
ツアーガイドの方も英語と日本語で説明が分かりやすく移動時間も楽しく過ごせました。

また利用したいと思います。

I was overwhelmed by the guide's abilities throughout the day. Without someone like them, it would have been impossible to manage a tour with so many foreigners. I had a great time even with the other tourists.

I have just one request. Since it was my first time in Kyoto in 50 years, I would like a map of the meeting place. I left early to allow for some extra time, but the bus wasn't stopping, and I almost ended up being late.

ガイドさんの能力に圧倒された1日でした。あのような方がいなければきっと外国人の多いツアーは無理でしょう。外人さんと一緒でも楽しく過ごせました。
お願いは一つだけ。京都市が50年ぶりでしたので、集合場所の地図がほしいです。余裕をもって早めに出たのですが、バスが止まっていないので、危なく遅刻するところでした。

I participated alone. It would be very difficult to visit all these tourist spots by myself, but it's easy since you can take a bus right to the entrance. Plus, with the guide's explanations, it's a great deal.

It was my first time sightseeing in Kyoto, but it felt like a tour designed for foreigners. There was no explanation in Japanese, and we were left to explore on our own, with only the meeting time and place provided in Japanese. I think the open-top bus that allowed for hop-on, hop-off, which I rode the day before, was more valuable. I would have liked to have historical explanations available in Japanese, perhaps through an audio guide.

初めての京都観光でしたが、外国の方のためのツアーだった様な気がしました。
日本語の説明は無く、各自で観光する為、集合時間と場所の日本語のみで、前日に乗車した、オープントップバス乗り降り自由の方が、値があった様に思います。歴史的説明は日本語でも聞くことが出来る、イアホン説明でもして欲しいですね

The guide who accompanied us was a local, and they included information that only locals would know, which made it very enjoyable. Although there were many foreign participants on the tour, the guide was fluent in English, and I, as a Japanese person, also learned a lot. I would like to participate again.

話に盛り込んで頂き、とても楽しかったです。
外国の方も多いツアーでしたが、英語も堪能で日本人の私も勉強になりました。また参加したいです。

I don't think I could have visited this many spots in one day on my own. The guide's explanations and guidance were great, and I would like to use this service again.
