It was amazing!
There was a bear sighting, which caused some changes to the schedule, but they were very flexible in accommodating us.
We were able to fully enjoy the primeval forest and the cliffs, which we couldn't have done without a guide. We had a great time even in the rain thanks to their knowledge of the flora and fauna!

I was nervous about trying SUP for the first time with my friend, but the instructors were all so kind and taught us patiently and gently. It was an absolutely amazing experience!

I had an amazing experience snorkeling in the Kerama Islands before, so I decided to try it again this time. The kids were thrilled with the beautiful blue of the ocean that they had never seen before 😊. They are saying they want to go again, so when we come back to Okinawa, I definitely want to go again.

Under the guidance of Komecchi, I received a lecture on how to use the snorkeling equipment, and we encountered a sea turtle almost immediately after starting! I was so moved to see a sea turtle up close so quickly, as I didn't expect it at all. 🥹

We were also taken to areas with lots of coral reefs and fish, and they quickly sent us many photos and videos! Initially, I had booked the 9 AM tour, but considering the clarity of the water and the crowds, they recommended switching to the 7 AM tour, which turned out to be a great decision! By 9 AM, there were quite a few more people around.

Komecchi's guidance was also enjoyable! I made wonderful memories. Thank you very much! 😊

手の届くような距離でこんなにすぐにウミガメに出会えるとは思っていなかったので感動しました🥹
珊瑚礁や魚たちがたくさんいるところにも連れていってもらい、本当にたくさんの写真や動画をすぐに送ってくださいました！
当初9時のツアーを申し込んでいましたが、海の透明度や混雑なども踏まえ7時のツアーを勧めてくださり変更して大正解でした！

I walked through the night in Ingya for about an hour and a bit, and I was able to hear stories about the creatures I encountered along the way. Our guide was Hinata Kimura. She answered the children's questions effortlessly, and I was impressed by her wealth of knowledge. It was fun to talk with her since we are both from Osaka! Meeting the coconut crab was the highlight. Not only did I learn about the creatures, but I also received travel advice for Miyako Island, making it a wonderful memory! Thank you! ☺︎

およそ１時間と少し、夜のインギャーを歩いて、道中出会った生き物たちのお話を聞かせていただきました。担当は、木村ひなたさん。一緒にいた子どもたちの質問にも難なく答えていて、知識が豊富ですごいな〜と感動しました。同じ大阪出身とのことで、お話できて楽しかったです！ヤシガニにも出会えて最高でした。生き物のことだけでなく、宮古島での旅のアドバイスもいただき、素敵な思い出になりました！ありがとうございました☺︎

このツアーに参加したのは、翌日飛行機に乗る必要があったため、その日はスキューバダイビングができなかったからです。天気は素晴らしく、水はクリスタルクリアです。ファントムアイランドはとても美しいですが、周りにはあまりすることがなく、クリスタルクリアな水の中で砂の島をゆっくりと楽しむことができます。ファントムアイランドの後のシュノーケリングは素晴らしかったです。その場所のサンゴ礁の状態は素晴らしかったです。サンゴ礁の生態系を探検するのはとても楽しかったです。スタッフはフレンドリーで、英語があまり得意でないにもかかわらず、温かく迎えてくれました。

Join this tour because I had to fly next day which makes me not able to do scuba diving that day. The weather is great and the water is crystal clear.
The Phantom Island is quite beautiful, though there is not much to do around it just slowly embrace the sand island among the crystal clear water.
The snorkelling part after the Phantom Island was great. The reef condition in that site was superb. I had a great time exploring the reef ecosystem. Staffs were friendly and I was warm welcome even though they were not able to speak English well.

この旅行は探検のフルパックでした。私たちは多くの動物、ココナッツガニやさまざまな種類の昆虫を見ました。個人的には、星空をじっくりと楽しむ時間がもっとあればよかったと思います。ツアーには多くの外国人が参加していて、途中で英語の説明があったのには驚きました。これは日本では非常に助かります。

The trip is full pack of exploration. We saw many animals, including some coconut crabs, different kind of insects. I personally wish there was more time to sit down and appreciate the starry sky.
I was suprised that there were many foreigners join the tour with English explanation along the way, which is very helpful in Japan.

Snorkeling in Miyako Island for the second time! Finally at Shinjo Beach.
The ocean was truly beautiful, and I never expected to swim so close to a sea turtle.
I was taken care of by Yamachan for two consecutive years.

Yubu Island had a short and hectic impression with only one hour for sightseeing, but I was satisfied to cross by water buffalo cart. I was able to experience snorkeling at Barasu Island and another spot, making it a great experience. The meeting point was close to where we boarded the boat, and the snorkeling spots were also nearby, which was nice. Our guide, Abe-chan, took many beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied.

由布島は島内観光の時間が1時間と短く慌ただしい印象でしたが水牛車で渡る事が出来て満足です。
シュノーケルはバラス島ともう1ポイント2ヵ所で体験出来ました。
集合場所から船に乗るまでも近く、ポイント同士も近かったので良かったです。
担当ガイドのあべちゃんが綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ってくれて大満足でした。

The weather was wonderful, and when I saw the Milky Way, I couldn't help but shout. I also got to see two blue land crabs, which made me very satisfied. On the way back, I was taken to a spot where I could see the night view of Ishigaki City and the starry sky at the same time, and I was deeply moved.

青いヤシガニも2匹も見れましたし、大満足だったのですが、帰り、高台から石垣市街地の夜景と星空を同時に見られる場所に連れて行って頂き、感動しました。

I have experienced SUP in the river, but SUP in the ocean is different; it was beautiful and enjoyable. The water was shallow, so it was okay to fall in, and the scenery was amazing. The tour guides were energetic and entertaining. Everyone spoke English fluently, so foreign participants can join with peace of mind. I would like to participate again when I come to Ishigaki Island.

川でのSUPは体験したことがあるのですが、海のSUPはまた違って、綺麗で楽しめました。遠浅で、落ちても大丈夫ですし、景色も最高でした。ツアーの方々も、元気で楽しませて頂きました。皆さん英語も流暢で、外国の方も安心して参加できます。また、石垣島に来たら、参加したいです。

It was my first time snorkeling.
So, it was tough to wear the snorkeling gear.
Instead, I wore regular goggles to see the fish.
I was disappointed that I couldn't wear the snorkeling gear, but I was happy to see so many fish.
I want to try snorkeling again.

I participated in the afternoon session, but the area around the Blue Cave was very crowded. The instructor mentioned that it was less busy today, but... During feeding time, the children seemed to have a lot of fun surrounded by many fish. Thank you very much!

I walked the elevated walkway for the first time, and it was a fulfilling three hours that went by in a flash.

Unlike the previous day, the weather was favorable, making it a perfect day for a stroll.

地上遊歩道を初めて歩いたがあっという間の充実した3時間でした〜。

It was a starry sky like I’ve never seen in the city. The staff were really bright and fun, and they taught me how to take beautiful photos of the night sky and about constellations.

ふつう、都会では見れないほどの満天の星空でした。スタッフさんもすごくあかるくて、楽しかったし、夜空をきれいに撮る写真の撮り方、星座などをおしえてもらいました。

I was able to enjoy my time safely while operating the kayak myself. It’s completely fine for beginners, but experienced paddlers might find it a bit lacking.

カヤックを自分で操作しながら、安全に楽しく過ごせました。
初心者には全く問題なく、ただし経験者には物足りないかもです。

First, you can experience kayaking. Even if it's your first time and you find it difficult, a kind brother named Kyo-chan will assist women and children, so you can feel at ease! (laughs) He provided detailed explanations about each part of the limestone cave, making it very easy to understand. The experience in the cave was thrilling and unlike anything you can find in other caves. I can't spoil it by writing too much, so please go and see for yourself! まず、カヤックに乗るという体験ができます。カヤックが初めてで難しい人でもきょうちゃんという優しいお兄さんが女性と子ども限定で助けてくれるので安心！（笑）鍾乳洞の中も一つ一つ詳しく解説してくれて、非常にわかりやすかったです。鍾乳洞での体験は他の鍾乳洞ではできないようなワクワクした体験ができました。これは、書くとネタバレになるので実際に行って確認してみてください！写真もいっぱい撮ってもらえるので、スマホは置いたままでも思い出を残せます。本当に思い出に残るツアーでした。きょうちゃんありがとう。

It was a wonderful time where I could experience nature throughout! Especially in the jungle, it was like a scene from a movie, a magnificent sight as if I were looking at a landscape painting! We participated as a three-generation family from a first grader to a 59-year-old. The instructor's explanations and stories were enjoyable, and the duration of the activity felt just right.

小1から59才の親子3世代で参加しました。インストラクターの説明や話も楽しく時間の長さもちょうどいい感じでした。

I decided to try snorkeling for the first time in Ishigaki Island and joined this Blue Cave snorkeling tour. In a word, it was a hit! It was an absolutely amazing experience!! The guide was very kind, always ensuring our safety while keeping us entertained, which made me feel very secure and turned it into a truly moving experience.

In the clear blue sea, you can encounter Nemo and Dory!! Unfortunately, I didn’t meet Crush, but I look forward to that encounter next time.

They also provided a pleasant pick-up service to the hotel, and the guide's talk in the car was full of humor. They shared many recommendations for local restaurants, so getting the latest information directly from them is definitely better than relying on past SMS posts.

初シュノーケリングは石垣島でと思い立ち、この青の洞門シュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。ひとことで言うと当たりです！超最高体験です！！ガイドの方がとても優しくて、楽しませてくれながら、常に安全に気を配ってくれているので、とても安心して参加でき、最高に感動的な体験となりました。
青く澄んだ海の中で、あのニモやドリーに出逢えます！！残念ながら、クラッシュには逢えませんでしたが、次回の遭遇に期待です。

It was our first time fishing as a couple, and we had a great time thanks to the thorough guidance we received. They made sure we would catch fish, and we really enjoyed it.

Both my husband and I caught several fish, and we ended with smiles, realizing how fun fishing can be. It was also nice to participate without having to bring any gear.

Following the Jomon Sugi from the previous day, we were guided by the same guide. Although I was a bit tired from the day before, the guide was very considerate, and we were able to go at a slightly more relaxed pace to Taiko Rock. The atmosphere was different from Jomon Sugi, with the clear streams and moss being truly beautiful, and the view from Taiko Rock was fantastic. Thank you very much to our guide, Hirata, for the two days together!

前日の疲れもありましたが、細かく配慮していただき、少しゆったりめのペースで太鼓岩まで行くことができました。
縄文杉とはまた雰囲気が違い、清流や苔が本当に美しく、太鼓岩からの眺めも最高でした。

Since I don't usually exercise, I had concerns about my physical stamina, so I requested a private guided tour. The guide was considerate in timing our visits to photo spots, rest areas, and restrooms to avoid overlaps with other guests. They encouraged us during tough sections and points where fatigue set in, while also providing explanations and fun stories as we climbed to Jomon Sugi! Given the long duration of the tour, I think it would have been quite challenging without the guide. They took many photos for us, and I'm glad I made the request. Thank you, guide Hirata!

他のお客さんと写真スポットや休憩場所、トイレ等のタイミングをずらすように配慮しながら案内していただき、きついところや疲れが出てくるポイントで声掛けをしていただいたり、説明や楽しいお話もしていただきながら縄文杉まで登ることができました！

There were mostly beginners, and there were also small children, but they taught us carefully and kindly, and their response was good. The drone footage was also amazing and became a great memory.

During the busy Obon holiday period, we took the Yufuin Water Buffalo Cart Tour in the morning and the Canoe Mangrove Tour in the afternoon. Although our family isn't particularly athletic, they taught us the proper techniques for paddling a canoe, and we were able to manage it well. During the canoe tour, I brought my smartphone in a waterproof case, but I might not have needed it since our guide, Matsuko, took photos and videos for us. She sent the data via LINE on the same day.

It was a very fulfilling day. Even after the tour ended, she shared information about a great coffee café and a place selling pineapples without a vendor, allowing us to enjoy our time until the ferry departure.

お盆休みの混み合う期間で、午前中に由布島水牛車ツアー、午後はカヌーマングローブツアーでした。
家族みな、運動神経がイマイチですが、カヌーの漕ぎ方のコツをちゃんと教えてくれて、乗りこなすことができました。カヌーツアー中、スマホを防水ケースに入れて持っていきましたが、写真や動画は、ガイドのまつ子さんが撮ってくれたので必要なかったかもしれません。その日のうちに、LINEでデータを送ってくれました。
とても充実した1日。ツアーが終わった後も、美味しいコーヒーのカフェや無人販売のパイナップルの情報など教えてくれて、帰りのフェリーの時間まで楽しく過ごせました。

We chose to go canoeing with two adults, a middle school student, and an elementary school student. We proceeded with two two-person canoes. Since the water level was high, we were able to paddle deep into the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. It seems that when the water level is low, you can get out of the canoe and walk. Our time on Yubu Island flew by as we strolled and enjoyed gelato.

大人2名と中学生、小学生でカヌーを選択。
2人乗りを2艇で進みました。
水位が高いタイミングだったため、マングローブ林の奥までカヌーで進むことができ、とても楽しかったです。水位が低い時は、カヌーを降りて歩けるらしい。
由布島は散歩してジェラート食べてたら、あっという間でした。

This was my first trip to Iriomote Island.
I booked it with my family of three for the summer vacation.
On the morning of the tour, as we headed to the meeting point (next to the underwater road: in front of the Iriomote Wildcat statue), we spotted the waterfall at our destination far in the distance, which looked quite large even from afar.
Our guide for the day, Minato, taught us the basics of how to ride a canoe and paddle, and then it was time to practice.
I paddled cautiously at first, but quickly got the hang of it.
Since it was a morning plan, the lake surface was calm, allowing us to paddle with ease.
My high school daughter also enjoyed herself without fear, riding along with the guide.
After paddling for a while, mangroves began to appear on the lake surface, and as we continued along the Hinai River, we started to see the primitive landscape of Iriomote Island with mangrove clusters on both sides.
The guide provided various information, including explanations of the course and the names of the plants we encountered.
Once we reached our destination, we got out of the canoe and began trekking towards the waterfall.
As long as we followed the guide's instructions and were careful on the rocky paths and slopes, there were no issues.
I noticed many small children walking along the way, and it seemed that families were participating in large numbers.
After walking for about 20-30 minutes, we finally arrived at the waterfall.
Looking up at the waterfall, which drops from a height of 50 meters with great force, was overwhelming.
Many people were swimming and diving in the pool at the base of the waterfall.
On the way back, we carefully walked down the mountain path, got back in the canoe, and headed to the starting point.
As seawater entered the river, the water level rose and waves began to form, but with the tips we received, we reached the goal without any trouble.
Although the waterfall seemed far away, I felt a sense of accomplishment being able to reach it by canoe and on foot for the first time.
The Yaeyama soba we had at the café afterward was also delicious.
We were all very satisfied with the tour, experiencing the great nature of Iriomote Island.

人生初の西表島旅です。
夏休みに家族3人で予約しました。
ツアー当日の朝に集合場所(海中道路横:イリオモテヤマネコ像前)に向かうと、遥か遠くに今から向かう目的地の滝を発見、遠くからでもかなり大きそうな滝に見えます。
当日帯同してくれるガイド(ミナトさん)からカヌーの乗り方、オールの漕ぎ方の基礎を教わればあとは実践あるのみ。
恐る恐る漕ぎましたが、すぐに慣れます。
当日は午前のプランだからか湖面も穏やかで安心して漕ぎ進められました。
高校生の娘もガイドさんに同乗してもらい怖がることなく楽しそうでした。
暫く漕ぎ続けるとマングローブが湖面に立ち現れ始め、比内川を漕ぎ進めると両脇にマングローブ群が拡がる西表島の原始的な風景が見え始めます。
ガイドのコース説明や群生する植物の名前の紹介など色々な情報を教えてくれます。
川を上り着いたらカヌーを降りて、上方の滝を目指してのトレッキング開始。
途中の岩道や勾配も気を付けながらガイドの指示に合わせて進めば問題無しです。
道中で小さなお子さんも沢山歩いていましたがご家族での参加も多いようです。
歩き続けて20-30分でようやく滝に到着。
滝上を見上げると50mの高さからかなりの勢いで落ちてくる迫力に圧倒されます。
滝壺で泳いだりダイブする人も多いです。
帰りも下りの山道を気を付けて歩いて降りて、カヌーに乗りスタートポイントへ。
川に海水が入り水位が上がり波も出始めますがコツを教わり難なく無事にゴール。
距離がありそうに見えた滝でしたが初めてのカヌーと自分の足で最後まで辿り着けた達成感を感じる事が出来ます。
ツアー参加後に併設しているカフェで食べた八重山そばも美味しかったです。
西表島の大自然を肌で感じることが出来て家族全員で大満足なツアーでした。
