I participated in a two-day course!

The first day's Jomon Sugi course was so tough that I thought it was a struggle for someone like me who doesn't usually exercise...

The second day's Shiratani Unsuikyo was a perfect course! The guide provided a lot of explanations, which was fantastic. ^ ^

苦行かと思うほど辛かった…

2日目の白谷雲水峡は程よいコース！
ガイドさんも色々説明してくださって最高でした^ ^

I participated in a tour that included pick-up from the hotel for experience diving and snorkeling!

After arriving at the port, the check-in, fitting for wetsuits and fins, and boarding went smoothly, and I was on the boat in no time. I was a bit anxious about managing my valuables during the diving, but it was great that I could leave my wallet with the staff during check-in.

Once we set sail, the staff provided explanations about diving until we reached the diving and snorkeling spots. Since we were divided into small groups, I didn't have to worry about not being able to hear. Most of the participants in the tour were foreigners, and there were very few Japanese participants, but the groups were organized by country, which made it reassuring for international participants.

It was my first experience diving, so I was quite nervous, but the explanations during the transfer, the checks before entering the water, and the practice before diving helped ease my tension, allowing me to enjoy the diving. During the dive, we were paired with one instructor for every two people, who took us to the beautiful, clear waters of Okinawa. I was able to see a clownfish up close and took many photos with the beautiful coral underwater, creating wonderful memories!

Additionally, during snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle from the surface, and the staff worked together to fulfill my wish to see it up close while diving. They swam a lot to help us find the sea turtle, and once we spotted it, they let us swim with it for more than enough time and took photos with us.

Meeting the sea turtle was, of course, a precious memory, but I was also very touched by the kindness of the staff! The staff members were very friendly with each other, creating a fun atmosphere that naturally lifted our spirits, allowing us to enjoy a warm and friendly environment with our new companions, even though we had just met.

I thoroughly enjoyed not only the diving experience but also the time spent on the boat and during lunch. I am truly grateful!

Even though I had several opportunities to come to Okinawa before, I had never mustered the courage to dive, but I am so glad I did it this time. I thought the waters of Okinawa were beautiful enough for just snorkeling, but I had an experience that snorkeling alone could not provide, and swimming with the sea turtle greatly expanded my perspective! I am really glad I participated in this tour! Thank you so much to all the staff!!!

ホテルまで送迎付の体験ダイビング&シュノーケリングのツアーに参加しました！

港に到着後、受付→ウェットスーツ、フィンの採寸→乗船までがスムーズに行われていてあっという間の乗船でした。
ダイビング中の貴重品の管理が少し不安でしたが、受付をする際、貴重品として財布を預かって貰えたのがとても良かったです。
出航してからダイビング&シュノーケリングスポットに到着するまでは担当の方がダイビング中の説明をしてくれました。少人数のグループ毎に分かれていたので声が届かない等の心配もないと思います。
又、ツアーのほとんどの参加者が外国の方で日本の参加者の方が割合としてとても少なかったのですが、グループも国毎になっていて外国からの参加も安心だと思いました。
体験ダイビングは初めてだったのでとても不安でしたが、移動中の説明、海に入る前に確認、入ってから潜る前に練習して潜ったので緊張も少しずつ和らぎ、ダイビングを楽しむ事が出来ました。
ダイビング中はインストラクターの方１人に対して２人ずつ手を繋ぎ、沖縄の透き通った綺麗な海に連れていってくれました。ダイビングの途中、カクレクマノミが居るスポットを間近で見れたり、綺麗な海の中で珊瑚と一緒に沢山の写真を撮影してくれたりと、とても良い思い出になりました！
又、シュノーケリングの時に海亀を海面から見れたのですが、ダイビングの時に近くで見たい！という願いをスタッフのみなさんが一丸となって叶えてくれました。沢山泳いで海亀を探してくれたり、発見してからは十分過ぎる程、一緒に泳がせてくれたり、写真を撮ったりしてくれました。
海亀に会えた事ももちろん大切な思い出ですが、スタッフみなさんの気持ちがとても嬉しかったです！
そしてスタッフさん同士がとても仲良しで楽しい雰囲気を作ってくれていたので私たちも自然とテンションが上がり、今日出逢ったばかりの仲間とは思えないような和気あいあいとした雰囲気で過ごすことが出来ました。
ダイビング内容ももちろんのこと、船での移動中やお昼御飯の時間まで心底楽しむことが出来ました。本当に感謝しかありません！

今まで何度か沖縄に来る機会があってもなかなか勇気を出せなかったダイビングでしたが、やってみて良かったと心から思える１日になりました。
沖縄の海はとても綺麗でシュノーケリングだけでも十分！と思っていましたが、シュノーケリングでは味わえない体験が出来、海亀と一緒に泳げた事で世界観が大きく広がりました！！
今回、ツアーに参加出来て本当に良かったです！
スタッフのみなさん本当にありがとうございました！！！

The guide's sense of distance, photography skills, and ability to set the pace were great. She had concerns about her stamina and had given up on seeing Jomon Sugi from the start, but she was able to see it safely.

ガイドさん、距離感、写真の腕、ペース作ってくれる感じとか良かったです。体力に不安のあった彼女は最初から縄文杉を諦めてましたが、無事見ることができました

I traveled to Yakushima for the first time this time. I was torn between joining the Jomon Sugi tour and the Shiratani Unsuikyo tour, but since it was a 2-night, 3-day trip, I decided to participate in the tour that included Shiratani Unsuikyo and Taiko Rock!

Regarding the Shiratani Unsuikyo and Taiko Rock tour, the trekking itself was not too strenuous, and we ascended slowly while listening to our guide's stories. The mountain path had various types of moss, and I was able to enjoy trekking while taking beautiful photos of the moss! Early in the morning, there were few people, so I could take my time with photos and fully enjoy the surrounding scenery while trekking, which I highly recommend! Thank you to our guide and the magnificent nature of Yakushima for the wonderful experience!

今回はじめて屋久島に旅行に来ました。縄文杉のツアーと白谷雲水峡のツアーのどちらに参加するか悩んだのですが、2泊3日での旅行だったため、白谷雲水狭と太鼓岩に行くツアーに参加しました！
白谷雲水峡と太鼓岩のツアーについて、トレッキング自体はあまり激しくなく、ガイドさんの話を聞きながらゆっくり登って行きました。山道には様々な種類の苔があり、綺麗な苔の写真を撮りながらトレッキングを楽しむことができました！！早朝は人も少なく、写真もゆっくり撮れ、周りの景色を堪能しながらトレッキング出来るのでおすすめです！ガイドさん、屋久島の大自然、感動をありがとうございました！

I would like to use it again when I visit Ishigaki Island.

Due to my schedule, I only had a single day to spend in Yakushima, but as a Ghibli fan, I really wanted to see the Forest of the Spirits and the cedar trees, so I was looking for an efficient tour. I found this tour while searching.

The day before, I received a confirmation call from the guide regarding the pickup time, important notes, and any questions I might have. When I mentioned that I had a tight schedule, they really considered my situation and made adjustments.

It was unfortunately raining early in the morning, but I was able to visit the Forest of the Spirits and see the cedar trees I had longed for. The moss was truly beautiful, and it brought me to tears. The cedar trees were also magnificent. We were supposed to head to Taiko Rock afterward, but my husband and I expressed that we were fine skipping it due to the rain, so instead, the guide took us to a waterfall and a bathhouse. We also had some rice cakes!

I was really happy that we went to the bathhouse since we had to catch a high-speed boat right after the tour. The guide took photos for us at beautiful spots, and their explanations were very clear and thorough. Thanks to the guide, the whirlwind tour was fulfilling and created unforgettable memories.

I would love to have them as our guide again! Thank you, Taiyo!

スケジュールの都合で、屋久島には丸一日もいれない弾丸な日程になってしまい、でもジブリが好きな私はどうしてももののけの森が見たいのと、杉が見たくて効率が良い時間のツアーを探していました所こちらのツアーに辿り着きました。
前日にガイドさんから確認のお電話があり、お迎えの時間や注意事項や、もし質問があればする形です。この時点で、弾丸スケジュールである事を伝えるとかなり色々考えて動いて下さりました。
早朝から生憎の雨でしたが、念願のもののけの森と杉に行く事ができました。苔が本当に美しくて、涙ぐんでしました。杉も素晴らしかったです。その後太鼓岩に向かう予定でしたが、私たち夫婦の希望で太鼓岩へは雨も降っているしいいですと言ったところ、かわりに滝とお風呂屋さんに回って下さりました。お餅も食べました☆ツアーが終わるとすぐに高速船に乗らなければいけなかったので、お風呂屋さんに行って下さった事は本当に嬉しかったです。
きれいな景色の所では写真を撮って下さったり、説明も大変分かりやすく丁寧でした。ガイドさんのおかげで弾丸ツアーが充実し、忘れられない思い出になりました。
また是非担当して頂きたいです！！

Although the weather was unstable due to the typhoon, we somehow completed two days safely. Jomon Sugi and Taiko Rock are wonderful places. For rain protection, a folding umbrella was more necessary than a raincoat in the summer. As a man in my mid-50s, it was a tough two days, but the guide's consideration was very helpful.

台風が発生していた事もあり、不安定な天気でしたが、何とか2日無事終了。縄文杉、太鼓岩素晴らしい所です。雨対策だけで夏はカッパよりも折畳み傘必要でした。50代中盤のおじさんとしては厳しい2日間ですが、ガイドさんの配慮も大変助かりました。

On the day of the event, it was unfortunately drizzling from the morning, but since it was still going ahead, I boarded the shuttle bus and headed to the location. The bus ran on time, and we arrived at the tour company near the port as scheduled. I thought there would be few participants on such a day, but I was surprised to see many people there. After fitting into our wetsuits, we took the bus to a nearby port. The boats were docked under a gray, overcast sky, and we boarded them in groups of three according to language to receive safety instructions and snorkeling explanations before the boat departed shortly after. The ride to the Kerama Islands took about an hour, but due to the bad weather, the waves were high, and some people were feeling quite seasick. Thanks to taking motion sickness medication, I managed to keep my condition stable and arrived at the destination safely. Once we arrived, we divided into groups and entered the water. After a while, I was lucky enough to see a turtle about 4 to 5 meters below the surface, but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't see it up close. I was also shocked to see divers from another tour repeatedly touching the turtle, thinking that people in Hawaii wouldn't do such a thing. Outside the water, it was pouring rain at times, but the instructor pulled a buoy and took us around to see beautiful fish. The visibility underwater wasn't as bad as the weather outside, and I was able to see many beautiful fish. I reminded myself that even in bad weather, it can still be decent, and I enjoyed snorkeling. Overall, due to the bad weather, I couldn't see the famous Kerama Blue sea, and the three snorkeling spots were reduced to two, which was quite disappointing. As a bonus, I had an adventure experience riding a boat that swayed left and right through rough waves, escaping a typhoon that had formed near Kume Island, getting splashed with waves repeatedly while speeding through.

当日は朝から小雨が降る生憎の天気でしたが催行されるとのことで迎えのバスに乗り込み現地に向かいました。バスは時間通りの運行で予定のスケジュールで港近くの催行会社に着きました。さすがにこんな日に参加する人は少ないだろうと思っていましたが現地には沢山の人がいてまずびっくりしました。そこではウェットスーツのサイズ合わせをしたあと、またバスですぐ近くの港へ移動しました。どんよりと灰色をした空のなかに船が停泊しておりそれに順番に乗り込み言語で3グループに分かれて注意事項とシュノーケルの説明を受けると船はしばらくして出発しました。慶良間諸島までの乗船時間はおよそ１時間くらいでしたが、やはり悪天候の影響で波が高く船は結構揺れグロッキー気味の人も見受けられました。自分は酔い止めの薬を飲んでいたおかげもありギリギリのところで体調を維持できなんとか無事に現地に着くことができました。着いたら順番に各グループに分かれて入水しました。しばらくすると4〜5mくらい下の海中に亀を見ることが出来ました。いきなり亀を見れてラッキーでしたがもう少し近くで見たかったので少し残念でした。また他のツアーのダイバーでしたが亀の撮影中に亀に幾度となく触っていたのを見てハワイならこんなことする人はいないのにと思い愕然としました。海の外はときたま大粒の雨が降る最悪の天気でしたが、インストラクターの方が浮きボードを引っ張ってくれて綺麗な魚を求めてあちこち連れて行ってくれました。海の中は外の天気ほど悪くはなく結構視界が良くあちこちで綺麗な魚を見ることが出来ました。天気が良くても海中が濁っていることもあると聞きこんな天気でも
まあまあなのかなと自分に言い聞かせてシュノーケルを楽しみました。今回は全体としては
悪天候により慶良間ブルーの海を見ることが出来ず、また三箇所のシュノーケルが二箇所に間引かれ大変残念という事に尽きます。おまけとしては、久米島付近に発生した台風から逃げるように荒波の中を右に左に大揺れし、波のしぶきをこれでもかと飽きるくらいに浴びながら全速で走る船に乗るというアドベンチャー体験ができた事でした。

My first snorkeling experience. I'm really bad at swimming and terrified of the ocean, so I was super nervous at the start. However, I was guided by a young but very reliable and cute instructor, and I was able to enjoy a dream-like time with peace of mind. Colorful fish swarmed right in front of me, and it was so cute and fun. I felt so happy realizing that there are such wonderful moments in life. I am truly grateful to the instructor who said, "I will definitely protect you. I will help you," and watched over me the whole time. On the way back, I was given recommendations for the best tebichi restaurant and steak place in Okinawa, and I searched for them using my navigation. Every single one of them created the best memories. Thank you!!

初めてのシュノーケリング。泳ぎは大の苦手。海は恐怖!!とビビリまくりのスタートだったけれど、若いのにしっかりした、かわいいインストラクターの方に先導されて、安心して夢のような時間をすごすことができました。色鮮やかな魚たちが目の前に群がってきて、かわいくて楽しくて。生きてるってこんな素敵な瞬間があるんだって嬉しくなりました。「必ず私が守ります。助けますから。」と言って、ずっと見守ってくださったインストラクターの方に本当に感謝です。帰りに、沖縄で一番おいしいテビチのお店とステーキのお店を教えてもらい、ナビで探しまくって行きました。どれも全～部、最高の思い出です。ありがとう！！

I had so much fun! I was worried that the typhoon would prevent us from going out on the boat, but the weather held up, and I was really glad we could dive and snorkel. On the day of the tour, there were quite a few people who got seasick due to the high waves. If you stay on the second deck of the boat, it’s relatively better!

We visited three points around Kerama, and we dove at the first spot, then snorkeled at the remaining two spots. At the second and third points, we were able to see sea turtles. Moreover, at the third spot, we saw three sea turtles! I even got to swim with a sea turtle while snorkeling, which was really fun!

I have also done diving and snorkeling in Ishigaki Island, but this tour offered a lot of freedom and we could swim for a long time. The instructor took many wonderful photos, and it was a very satisfying tour!

とっても楽しかったです！
台風が来ていて船が出ないかと心配しましたが、天気も持ちダイビングもシュノーケリングも出来て本当に良かったです。
当日は、波が高くて船酔いしている人は結構いました。船の二階のデッキにいるとわりとマシです！
慶良間３ポイント回遊だったので、私達は１ヶ所目にダイビングをして、残り２ヶ所はシュノーケリングをしました。
２ヶ所目、３ヶ所目の２ポイントで海ガメに会うことが出来ました。
しかも、３ヶ所目では三匹の海ガメを見ました！シュノーケリングで潜って海ガメと泳ぐこともできて、本当に楽しかったです！
石垣島でもダイビングやシュノーケリングをしたことがありましたが、こちらのツアーはわりと自由度が高く長い時間泳げました◎
インストラクターの方が沢山素敵な写真を撮ってくれたし大満足なツアーでした♪

My three middle school children participated without me, but it seems that the instructor kindly guided them, and they were very satisfied. They took a lot of photos and transferred the data to my smartphone. Thank you very much.

The sea man, Mr. Riku, and all the handsome and kind staff were wonderful! Due to the impact of the typhoon, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but instead, we had the opportunity to snorkel at another spot. The clear, beautiful sea was filled with colorful fish, and I was absolutely, incredibly satisfied! Since we started snorkeling early in the morning, we were able to enjoy a full day of activities, making our time even more meaningful.

I was also happy that they took many photos for us. They sent them to my iPhone right there, so I could see them immediately, and even now, a few days later, I find myself looking back at them repeatedly. I can't swim, but I was able to hold onto a float, so I had no worries and thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling. Thank you so much for such a fun experience! I’m thinking of going to the Blue Cave next time, so I look forward to it then!

海の男、陸さんを始め、イケメンで優しいスタッフの方ばかりでした(^O^)!
台風の影響？で、青の洞窟にはいけませんでしたが、代わりに別のスポットでシュノーケルに挑戦させて頂きました(*ﾟ▽ﾟ)
透き通った綺麗な海で、カラフルな魚達に餌をあげ、とにかく、大大大満足でした！朝早くからシュノーケルということで、その後も1日たっぷり遊べたので、より有意義な時間の使い方ができました。
写真もたくさん撮っていただいて嬉しかったです。その場でiPhoneに送って頂いたので、すぐに見ることもでき、さらに数日経った今ももついつい、何度も見返してしまいます笑
私は泳げませんが、浮き輪に捕まらせてもらったので、不安も一切なくシュノーケルを満喫させて頂きました。本当に楽しい経験をさせて頂き、ありがとうございました！次回は青の洞窟に行きたいと考えていますので、またその際にはよろしくお願いいたします(^O^)!

I participated in diving for the first time. On the day of the event, I was worried it might be canceled due to the typhoon, but instead of three dives, we ended up doing two, and the area changed from Kerama to Chibishi, so I was able to participate. More than half of the customers were from overseas, and the staff was also very international. Everyone was kind, and although I was anxious since it was my first time, I had a great time. The wind was strong, and the boat was rocking, so I got seasick in the second half, but the captain was very attentive and that helped a lot! I think it's definitely a good idea to take motion sickness medication.

はじめてダイビングに参加しました。当日は台風の影響で中止を心配しておりましたが、３ダイブが２ダイブに、エリアも慶良間→チービシに変更となり参加できることとなりました。お客さんは海外の方が半数以上、スタッフの方も国際色豊かです。みなさん親切で、はじめてで不安がありましたが楽しめました。風が強く船が揺れたので後半船酔いしてしまいましたが、船長さんが丁寧に対応してくださり大変助かりました！酔い止めは必ず飲んだ方がいいと思います。

It was written that the early morning flight would be less crowded, but it turned out to be a private charter! Although we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to high waves that day, the guide was very nice, and we enjoyed snorkeling and feeding the fish (*´˘`*). We also got to take a lot of photos, and I was extremely satisfied!

早朝便は空いていると書いてましたけどまさかの貸切でした！当日波が高く青の洞窟にはいけませんでしたが、案内して下さる方がとても良い方でシュノーケルと魚の餌やりを楽しめました(*´˘`*)

This was my second time diving, and it was my husband's first, but it was significantly better than my first dive in Guam! The water was very clear, and you could see the coral reefs clearly even from above! First, we boarded a boat with a few others and moved to the diving point, and while waiting for our turn to dive, we snorkeled. It was quite deep, but even just snorkeling, we could see the beautiful fish at the bottom of the sea. When it was our turn, we held hands with one of the staff members and descended to the seabed together. We practiced breathing properly before going in, so I wasn't scared. We got to see clownfish and even an eel! I was very satisfied to meet various kinds of marine life! Thank you very much.

ダイビングは私は2回目、旦那は初めてで参加しましたが、私にとって1回目のグアムのダイビングよりも、かなり良かったです！海がかなり透明度があり、上から覗いてもサンゴ礁がはっきりと見えます！！まず何人かで船にのりダイビングポイントまで移動し、ダイビングの順番がくるまでシュノーケルをするような感じです。かなり深いところですが、シュノーケルだけでも海底の魚が綺麗にみえます。そのあと順番がきたら、スタッフの方1人と主人と私の3人で手を繋いで海底に潜ります。きちんと呼吸の練習もしてから入るので怖くなかったです。クマノミにも会えたしウミヘビもみました！いろんな種類の海の生き物に会えて大満足です！ありがとうございました。

This was my second time visiting Yakushima. On the final day of my 2-night, 3-day trip, I participated in the early morning Taiko Rock course. Since it was early, there were few people on the Taiko Rock and along the trail, allowing me to take photos at a leisurely pace. The guide was knowledgeable about the plants and, having been a bus driver before becoming a guide, shared a lot of information about the island. At Taiko Rock, the guide encouraged us to shout "Yahhoo!" at the top of our lungs, which was refreshing since I don't usually shout loudly in my daily life. Although there were some clouds, I was able to see the climbing route to Jomon Sugi through the breaks in the clouds, and I felt rejuvenated by the sight of the ancient trees and lush greenery.

今回で2回目の屋久島です。
2泊3日の最終日、屋久島を出る日だったので、早朝の太鼓岩コースに参加しました。
早朝ということもあり、太鼓岩も道中も人がすくなく、ゆっくりと写真が撮れました。
ガイドさんは植物に詳しく、ガイド業の前はバスの運転手だったこともあり、島のことについても詳しく教えてくれました。
太鼓岩ではガイドさんに言われ、大声で「やっほー！」と叫ばされましたが(笑)、日常で大声で叫ぶことがないのでとてもすっきりしました。
少し雲がかかっていましたが、雲の晴れ間には縄文杉登山の登山ルートも見ることができ、白骨樹や生い茂る木々に癒されました。

I enjoyed kayaking while listening to various stories about Okinawa's nature, culture, and history from the instructor Matsuken. The taco rice restaurant he recommended for lunch was really delicious.

インストラクターのマツケンさんから、沖縄の自然、文化、歴史などいろんなお話を聞きながらカヤックを楽しめました。ランチにとすすめてもらったタコライスのお店、めっちゃおいしかったです。

I participated in an early morning trekking tour. The guide was the oldest among the guides in Yakushima. He was a veteran, maintained a good pace, and made the trekking easy. I received a call the day before to confirm my participation, which made everything go smoothly. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but the rain made the moss in the Kumoto Gorge vibrant and beautiful. It is said to be the setting for "Princess Mononoke," and I thought I would rewatch the film after returning home. Thank you, guide, for a wonderful tour.

早朝トレッキングに参加しました。
ガイドさんは屋久島のガイドの中で一番最年長の方でした。
ベテランで、ペースもよく、トレッキングしやすかったです。
参加前日にも電話でご連絡いただきスムーズに参加することができました。
あいにくお天気は雨でしたが、雲水峡は雨のほうが苔が生き生きとして美しかったです。もののけ姫の舞台といわれており、帰宅してから再度もののけ姫を見てみようと思いました。
ガイドさん、素敵なツアーありがとうございました。

We participated as a couple. The weather was great that day, and the waves were calm. It was a perfect day for snorkeling. ① They prepare prescription goggles in advance, so visibility underwater is excellent. ② Although wetsuits are provided for snorkeling, my wife found it tight and uncomfortable, so she switched to a life jacket. Both my wife and I enjoyed ourselves with the life jackets. I recommend using a life jacket. ③ The water was incredibly clear, and we encountered colorful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. ④ Groups of about 6-8 people are formed, and a guide accompanies you. They are trustworthy, which is very reassuring. ⑤ Photos from the day can be downloaded from the site, making for great memories. ⑥ Simple drinks are available, and the restroom and shower facilities are basic but functional. ⑦ The ladder for entering the sea from the speedboat is practical and safe. ⑧ There is also a changing room available after returning, so we could head to our next sightseeing activity right away. It was a safe and easy experience, and I highly recommend it. (Last year, when I applied around the same time, it was canceled due to a typhoon. They decide and contact you the day before. This time, we were able to have our revenge.)

夫婦で参加しました。この日は天気も良く波も穏やか。シュノーケリングには絶好の日よりでした。①事前に度付きの水中眼鏡を用意してくれるので、海の中でも視界良好。②シュノーケリングでもウエットスーツが用意されますが、妻は締め付けられるようで息苦しいとのこと。途中でライフジャケットに変更。私も妻もライフジャケットで充分楽しめた。私はライフジャケットをお勧めします。③海の透明度は抜群で色とりどりのサンゴ礁とトロピカルフィッシュの大群に出会えました。④６－８名程度でグループを作りガイドが同行します。信頼できる方でとても安心。⑤当日の写真がサイトからダウンロードでき記念もバッチリ。⑥簡単な飲物も自由、トイレもシャワーも簡便だけど充分機能。⑦スピードボートから海に入るためのはしごも機能的で安全。⑧戻ってからの着替え部屋も用意されていて、すぐに次の観光活動に向えました。安心で手軽な最高体験でした。とってもお薦めです。（昨年同時期に申し込んだ時は台風で中止でした。前日に催行を決定し連絡してくれます。今回でリベンジできました。）

This time, I participated in the early morning trekking tour from Shiratani Unsuikyo to Taiko Rock. I chose Yakushima Tourist Information Center because they offered rental mountain gear along with the reservation. It was a great help that they delivered it to my accommodation the day before! On the day of the tour, it was pouring rain... I was worried it might be canceled, but the rain gradually stopped after we started trekking. According to the guide, it was the first rain in two weeks on Yakushima! The forest after the rain was beautiful, with water droplets sparkling on the moss. It turned out that we were the only participants, so it was practically a private tour! Since it was early morning and there were few people, we could enjoy the scenery to Taiko Rock slowly with the guide. We also had Taiko Rock all to ourselves, which was amusing.

Even though the weather wasn't great, I was satisfied with the decent views! I don't have much climbing experience, and honestly, it was a bit tough just getting to the mossy forest, but seeing the view from Taiko Rock made me glad I decided to go there! By the time we were descending, more climbers started to arrive. I'm really glad we chose the early morning course. I absolutely recommend the early morning course! It finishes before noon, so you can make effective use of your time. On the way back, the guide gave us some cold tankan juice, which was delicious! Finally, they dropped us off at the hot spring facility, and I soaked in the hot spring to relieve my fatigue. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

今回は白谷雲水峡～太鼓岩の早朝トレッキングツアーに参加しました。予約と一緒に登山用品をレンタルできる点で屋久島道の駅観光さんを選びました。しかも前日に宿に届けてくれるので大変助かりました！ツアー当日、なんとどしゃ降り... 中止になるか心配しましたが、トレッキングはじめてから雨がだんだんあがりました。ガイドさんによると屋久島で2週間ぶりの雨だそう！雨上がりの森、苔の上に水滴がピカピカ輝いてきれいでした。たまたま参加者が私たちだけか？実質貸切ツアーでした！早朝で人が少なく、ガイドさんと3人でゆっくり太鼓岩までの景色を楽しめました。太鼓岩も3人で貸し切りました 笑
天気があんまり良くない中でもそこそこの景色が見れて満足でした！登山経験がなくて、正直に苔むす森までだけでも少し辛かったのですが、太鼓岩の景色を見て、太鼓岩まで行くことにして良かったと思いました！私たちが降りる頃に登山客が続々と増えてきました。早朝コースにして良かったです。絶対早朝コースがおすすめです！お昼前には終了するので、時間を有効に使うことができます。帰り道にガイドさんから冷たいたんかんジュースをもらいました。美味しかったです！最後に温泉施設まで送ってもらって、温泉に浸かって疲れを癒しました。とても満足しています。ありがとうございました！

I heard from someone who has been there that the bus to the trailhead can get crowded, so I chose this plan. Thanks to that, I was able to hike without worrying about the bus for the round trip.

Also, I realized for the first time after participating that if you walk at a normal pace, you might not return before dark, so sometimes it was necessary to walk at a slightly faster pace. However, our guide observed our condition and led us at a pace that was manageable, so even as beginners, we could follow along with confidence.

Additionally, I felt that leg and core strength is necessary. (It was okay not to have much stamina.) Even younger people experienced pain in their hips and ankles towards the end, so I think it's better to have as much gear as possible to reduce the burden on the knees and ankles. (I used compression leggings to alleviate the strain, and I wore marathon leggings.)

行ったことがある人から、
登山口までのバスが混むと聞いていたので、こちらのプランを選びました。
おかげで行き帰りのバスを気にすることなく、登山できました。

また、参加してから初めて分かりましたが、
普通のペースで歩いていると明るいうちに帰って来れなくなるため、
時には気持ち速いペースで歩く必要がありました。
ただ、ガイドさんが私たちの様子を見ながら、
無理のないペースでリードして下さったので、
登山初心者の私たちでも安心してついて行けました。

そのほか、足腰の筋力は必要だと感じました。
（スタミナはあまりなくても大丈夫でした）
若い人でも、最後の方で股関節や足首に痛みが来る人もいたので、
ひざや足首への負担軽減のためにできるだけの装備を
していった方が良いかと思います。
（私は、負担を軽減するスパッツ（私はマラソン用のスパッツを履きました）やストックを使用しました）

A 1-night, 2-day trip to Yakushima for the first time. We wanted to enjoy everything, but time was limited... so the half-day plan to reach Taiko Rock was perfect for us.

During the tour, our guide carefully explained each flower, tree, and spots related to "Princess Mononoke." They provided perfect pose suggestions at photo spots and humorously pointed out things that resembled animals, making it a really fun experience!

When we arrived at Taiko Rock, unfortunately, it was shrouded in thick white mist, creating a beautiful otherworldly scene. However, as the mist cleared slightly, the shimmering river and the lush greenery below became even more stunning, and the misty view was spectacular.

Perhaps the ancient cedar tree granted our wish for clearer weather.

I initially thought it might be nice to go on my own, but I'm really glad I chose the tour. I had a very fulfilling day. Thank you for the wonderful tour!

1泊2日、初めての屋久島旅行。何もかも楽しみたいけれど時間がない……という私たちにとって、太鼓岩まで半日で行くプランはうってつけでした。

ツアーではガイドさんが花や木、もののけ姫に纏わるスポットなどひとつひとつ丁寧に解説して下さりました。撮影スポットで完璧なポーズ指定をして下さったり、監督に負けじと動物の姿に見えるものを教えてくださったりと、とてもユーモアのある方で凄く楽しかったです！

太鼓岩に到着時、生憎真っ白な霧が掛かっており、別世界のようで綺麗でした。
しかし、霧が少し晴れて姿を見せた煌めく川や下に広がる鬱然たる緑は殊更に美しく、霧が若干けぶる姿も壮観でした。

晴れますようにとお願いしたのを、くぐり杉が叶えてくれたのかもしれません。

個人で行くのもいいかな〜と当初考えていたのですが、ツアーを頼んで本当に良かったと思います。とても充実した1日が過ごせました。素晴らしいツアーをありがとうございました！

It was very hard and it rained quite a bit, but thanks to the guide's wonderful pacing and their effort to make it enjoyable, I was able to trek happily until the end!

I usually play sports, so I was confident in my stamina, but 13 hours was definitely tiring. However, it was a place I absolutely do not regret visiting! The veteran guide was reliable (he seemed to be over 70 years old, but he mentioned it was his fifth consecutive day). If you're going to Yakushima, I recommend this tour! In fact, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that if you don't go, you won't understand the purpose of coming to Yakushima.

普段からスポーツをやっているので体力には自信がありましたが、さすがに13時間は疲れました。が、絶対に行って後悔しない場所でした！ベテランのガイドさんで頼りになりました(70歳過ぎてたみたいですが今日で5日連続ですって言ってました)。屋久島に行くならこのツアーをお勧めします！というか行かないと何のために屋久島に来たかわかりませんっと言っても過言ではないです。

The reservation date had strong waves, so we couldn't depart, but we were able to reschedule for the next day and had a valuable experience. Not only did we see the Blue Cave, but we also had a thrilling experience riding over the waves on a pleasure boat, like a roller coaster. The foreigner (probably from Russia) spoke fluent Japanese and provided amusing explanations that made us feel like we were in another country, which was a lot of fun.

Once you arrive at the location, I recommend calling the contact number if no one is there, as there might be a cancellation. The meeting point is in the bay, so even if the wind and waves aren't too strong, there can still be big waves near the cave that prevent you from going.

予約日は波が強くて出港できずでしたが、翌日に振り替えてもらえて、貴重な体験ができました。
青の洞窟を見るというだけでなく、プレジャーボートで波を乗り越えてジェットコースターのような体験や、外国人（多分ロシアの人）の上手な日本語、でもなんか可笑し面白い説明で異国を感じられたりして大変楽しめました。

現地に着いて、誰もいなかったら連絡先に電話することをお勧めします。欠航かもしれないので。集合場所は湾内なのでそんなに風、波が強くなくても洞窟付近は大波で乗れない事も。

Even for someone like me who doesn't usually exercise, I was able to fully enjoy the scenery thanks to the guide's thoughtful breaks, a comfortable walking pace, and engaging stories. Since we departed early, we didn't encounter other hikers on the way up, allowing us to stroll leisurely without worrying about our surroundings. Although it rained on the day of our hike and the view from Taiko Rock was different from what I had imagined, it was still so wonderful that I could appreciate it as part of nature. I debated whether to hike individually or join a tour, but having the guide's insights made the experience much more enjoyable, likely many times more than if I had gone alone.

普段運動をしない私でもガイドさんの配慮によるこまめな休憩、速すぎない歩行速度、楽しいお話で景色をしっかり楽しむことができました。
出発時間が早いのでのぼりでは他の登山の方と会うこともないので、周りを気にすることなくゆっくり散策できました。
当日は雨が降ってしまい太鼓岩からの景色は想像とは異なりましたが、それも自然故と思えるほど素晴らしかったです。
個人で登るかツアーにするか悩みましたが、ガイドさんのお話があると、やはり知らないことだらけで楽しみも恐らく個人で行くより何倍にもなったはずです。

I was searching for various beaches in Okinawa, and the biggest deciding factor was the discount they offered. There were also many photos and descriptions, which were very helpful for first-timers! The staff were all very kind! We took a bus to get there, and as soon as we arrived, another customer said they needed to use the restroom. Even though it seemed like we were running out of time, I was surprised by the kindness of the staff who went back to the beach club! Thank you for a truly enjoyable experience! It turned out to be a wonderful trip! 😊

沖縄の様々な海で検索してましたが、1番の決め手は、割引をしていた点です。
また写真や説明文も多く、初めての人にとってはとても助かりました！
スタッフさんは、みんな親切でした！
バスに乗って移動し、着いた途端他のお客さんがトイレをしたいと言いました。
時間もおしていた感じなのに、またビーチクラブに戻っていたスタッフさんの優しさにビックリしました！
本当に楽しい体験をありがとうございました！

The day I participated, it rained 97% of the time, which was a bit disappointing, but I was glad I joined the tour because of the rain.
- The guide gave advice on when to wear a raincoat! The basic idea is to use an umbrella to protect your upper body and a raincoat for your lower body. If you wear a raincoat on your upper body from the start, it gets hot and you won't have the stamina to walk all day...
- For lunch, they set up a tarp to shield us from the rain! It was pouring heavily, and I was wondering how we would eat, but thanks to the guide setting up the tarp, we were able to eat without getting wet! I was really grateful for that!
- The guide shared interesting facts about Yakusugi and Yakushima, which kept my spirits up while walking.

The guide was very cheerful, and I was able to enjoy the walk. I'm glad I signed up for the tour.
(I recommend bringing a simple change of clothes for the return trip, as your clothes will be soaked from the Yakusugi, and you might get cold on the bus!)

参加した日は、歩く時間の97％は雨という日で少し残念だなと思ったいたのですが、雨だったからこそツアーに参加してよかったと思いました。
・カッパを着るタイミングやアドバイスをしてくれる！基本は傘をさして上半身を守る、下半身はカッパがオススメ、最初から上半身カッパだと暑くて１日歩き通すための体力がなくなる…などなど
・お昼はタープで雨よけをしてくれた！お昼はザーザー降りの雨でどうやって昼を食べようかと思っていましたが、ガイドさんがタープを張ってくれたおかげで、雨に濡れず食べられました！かなりありがたかったです！
・屋久杉や屋久島の豆知識を教えてくれるので、元気に歩けました。

とても明るいガイドさんで、楽しく歩き通せました。ツアーに申し込んでよかったです。
（屋久杉の帰りは服がびしょびしょなため帰りのバスで体を冷やしてしまうので、簡単な着替えを持っていくのをお勧めします！！）

The texture of the moss felt great. Surrounded by overwhelming nature, I was able to spend a relaxing time. I was able to hear a lot of recommendations for shops that aren't on the internet from the guide, making it a fulfilling trip.

コケの手触りがいい感じでした。圧倒的な自然に囲まれて、ぼんやりと癒される時間を過ごすことが出来ました。ガイドさんから、ネットに無いおすすめの店やらをたくさん聞くことができ、充実した旅行になりました。

I went diving for the first time in my life! The ocean was incredibly beautiful, and I was constantly amazed. Before we set off, they provided a thorough explanation, and although I was anxious about my first dive, I was able to swim with peace of mind. During the dive, I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle, and I also got to see fish that looked like they came out of an anime up close, which made me very happy! They brought a sea cucumber for us to touch, and I was able to swim for a long time while snorkeling, which was great. In summary, it was the best time! For those who will participate in the future, I think motion sickness medication is a must! Thank you for the fun time!!

人生初のダイビングにいってきました！
海がめちゃちゃ綺麗でずっと感動しっぱなしでした。
出発する前に説明を丁寧にしてくれて、初めてのダイビングで不安でしたが、安心して泳げました。
ダイビングでは、運良くウミガメも会えて、他にも、アニメに出てくるような魚たちを近くで見れてとてもハッピーでした！
ナマコを持ってきてくれて触ってみたり、シュノーケリングでもずっと泳げたのでよかったです。
一言でまとめると、最高の時間でした！
また、これから参加される人は酔い止めはマストだと思います！
