The reservation date was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather, but I was able to change it to the next day and finally participate in the long-awaited Jomon Sugi tour. The shuttle from the bus stop near my accommodation to the trailhead was very convenient.

The 22-kilometer trek was honestly tough, but thanks to the guidance of our guide, I managed to get through it and was rewarded with some truly beautiful scenery. The tea they made for us during a break gave me a boost of energy, and the photos I took in the poses suggested by the guide make me smile when I look back at them.

It was a tour that makes me want to go again.

予約日は、あいにくの天候で中止になってしまいましたが、翌日に変更して頂き何とか念願の縄文杉ツアーに参加出来ました。宿泊先の近くのバス停から登山口までの送迎は、とても楽でした。
22キロのトレッキングは正直しんどかったですが、ガイドさんの指導により何とか乗り切る事が出来て、とても素敵な景色に出会えました。途中の休憩時に作って下さった紅茶で元気出ました、言われるままのポーズで撮った写真も後から見ると、クスッと笑える良い写真です。
また行ってみたいと思えるツアーでしたた。

In the morning, I experienced canoeing in the mangroves, and in the afternoon, I explored the Blue Cave and went snorkeling.

It rained during the morning mangrove tour, but the combination of the rain and the mangrove atmosphere was very enchanting. I was worried about whether I could paddle well since it was my first time canoeing, but the guide kindly taught me, and I had a great time.

In the afternoon, for snorkeling and the Blue Cave, they provided wetsuits, fins, and life jackets, so I could swim with peace of mind. It was also nice that when I got tired, I could hold onto the guide's float and take a break.

They took a lot of photos and sent me all the data without any additional charge, so I can always relive the memories.

It was a very enjoyable tour.

午前中はマングローブでカヌー、午後は青の洞窟とシュノーケリングを体験させていただきました。

午前中のマングローブは雨でしたが、雨とマングローブの雰囲気が合っていてとても幻想的でした。
初めてのカヌーでうまく漕げるか心配していましたが、ガイドさんが優しく教えてくださり、楽しく体験できました。

午後のシュノーケリングと青の洞窟はウエットスーツやフィン、ライフジャケットも貸してくださり、安心して泳げました。
疲れたりした時はガイドさんの浮輪？に捕まって休憩したりもできるのでありがたかったです。

写真も沢山撮ってくださり、追加料金なしでデータ全て送ってくださるので、いつでも思い出に浸れます。

とても楽しいツアーでした。

I was lucky enough to participate during a break in the rainy season. Since there were only two of us at the same time due to the post-Golden Week period, we were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about others around us.

We received a thorough explanation of safety and how to ride from the staff, and off we went! The staff guided us to areas rich in coral and fish. We were fortunate enough to meet the local resident in the cove and had a wonderful time.

Additionally, the accompanying staff took photos and used a drone to capture footage, editing it on the spot, allowing us to create lasting memories from this experience, which left us very satisfied.

This tour allowed us to see fish without having to enter the water, making it enjoyable even for us, an elderly couple who were hesitant about marine activities. Initially, I thought one hour might be too short, but it turned out to be just the right amount of time for older participants. I believe this is a recommended activity for those who want to be out on the water but are hesitant to get in.

GW明けもあって同時刻の参加者は私たち二人だけだったので周りを気にせず堪能することができました。
　スタッフさんから安全と乗り方の丁寧な説明を受け、いざ出港！
　スタッフさんの案内でサンゴや魚が多いところを見せていただきました。入江奥の主にも運よく会うことができ楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
また、同行のスタッフさんの撮影やドローンで撮影もあり、その場で編集して頂き今回の一番の思い出を残せることができ大満足です。
　このツアーでは海に入ることなく魚を見ることができ、年配夫婦で海のアクティビティをためらっていた私たちでも十分楽しむことができました。時間も最初は1時間は少ないかなと思っていましたが年配者にはちょうどいい時間でした。海に出たいけど入るのはやだなと思う人にはおすすめのアクティビティだと思います。

I participated with a female friend. We chose this highly-rated private tour because we wanted to walk at our own pace.

We gathered at 4:40 AM and boarded the mountain bus. The guide encouraged us to rest to avoid car sickness on the winding roads. After getting off, we had breakfast and started trekking. The guide provided clear explanations about the cedars and plants, and we enjoyed walking while engaging in plenty of casual conversation.

Since rain was expected to intensify in the afternoon, we walked at a faster pace, but we encountered a family of deer along the way. They were so cute that we ended up staying there for quite a while.

After about three hours of walking, we arrived at Wilson's stump. The spirit of cooperation among everyone during the photo session was wonderful.

After about five hours of walking, we finally met the Jomon cedar. It was larger and more magnificent than any Yakusugi we had seen along the way. I was quite moved, perhaps due to the sense of achievement from walking for such a long time.

We had lunch deeper in the area of the Jomon cedar, where we were treated to warm miso soup.

On the way back, we chatted the whole time and quickly returned to the starting point.

I think we walked for a total of about 11 hours, but it didn't feel like that much, and it really ended in the blink of an eye. It was such a fun and wonderful time.

I believe it also depends on the compatibility with the guide, but we had a great time. I hope to request the same guide when we come back.

女友達と2人で参加させていただきました。
自分たちのペースで歩きたかったので、貸切プランで評価が高いこちらのツアーを選びました。

4時40分に集合して登山バスへ乗車。山道で車酔いを避けるために寝るよう促してくれました。
降りてから朝ごはんを食べ、トレッキングスタート。杉や植物の説明を分かりやすく説明していただいたり、雑談も多く交えながら楽しく歩かせていただきました。
午後から雨が強まる予想だった為、早めのペースで歩いていましたが、途中鹿の家族と遭遇。可愛すぎて結構な時間そこに居続けてしまいました。笑

3時間くらい歩いたところでウィルソン株に到着。写真撮影の時の皆さんの譲り合いの精神が素晴らしかったです。

5時間くらい歩いたところでお目当ての縄文杉とご対面。歩く途中で見てきた屋久杉のどれよりも大きく、壮大。長時間歩いた達成感もあってかかなり感動しました。

縄文杉の奥の方で昼ごはん。
温かいお味噌汁をご馳走になりました。

復路はひたすら雑談をしながら歩き、あっという間にスタート地点に戻ることができました。

合計11時間くらい歩いたと思いますが、そんなに歩いたという感じがなく、本当にあっという間に終わってしまいました。
それくらい楽しく素晴らしい時間でした。

ガイドさんとの相性もあるかと思いますが、私たちはとても楽しく過ごさせていただきました。
また来る時、ぜひ同じガイドさんでお願いできたらなぁと思っております。

I wanted to go to Yakushima, so I joined with three friends. Due to heavy rain, there was a possibility of cancellation on the day of the trip. Since we were leaving the next day, I consulted with the guide about climbing until we could make it to the airport in time for our flight, and I received a good response. On top of that, after preparing to leave, they said they would take us to Taiko Rock and then directly to the airport. It felt like a dream come true!

Since the date for returning the rental clothes, shoes, and backpack changed due to the hike being postponed, they kindly extended the return date by one day without changing the fee. Everyone was so nice! On the day of the hike, it was cloudy with occasional sunshine as we set off. The mountains after the rain sparkled and were truly beautiful.

Additionally, the guide was great, providing good explanations, and we had a fun time chatting and laughing together! I’m definitely considering going to Jomon Sugi next time. Thank you so much for accommodating the sudden changes!

なんだか屋久島に行きたくて友達3人で参加しました。
当日の天気は豪雨のため中止のおそれが‥
次の日はもう帰るので飛行機に間に合う時間まで登れたらと、ガイドさんに相談してみたら良い返事をもらえ
おまけに帰る準備をして太鼓岩まで行き下山したら、そのまま空港まで送っていただけると言う。
夢のような話が実現しました！
レンタルの服や靴リュックも登山日が変更になったので返す日にちを１日延長してもらい（料金はそのままで良いと）なんて優しい方ばかりなんだと。
当日は曇り時々晴れとなり出発しました。
雨上がりの山はキラキラ、しっとり本当に綺麗でした。
また、ガイドさんも良い方で説明もよく、たまに世間話などをして笑いながら楽しい時間を過ごせました！
次はぜひ縄文杉まで行ってみたいと考えています。
急な変更にも対応してくだり本当にありがとうございました！

The rain from the previous day cleared up, and the weather was perfect! Thanks to our experienced guide, I was able to walk the long distance of 11 hours without worry, meet Jomon Sugi, and connect with wonderful people in the same tour who helped achieve our goal together. I am filled with gratitude for all the circumstances that brought us together. I definitely want to participate again next time!

前日の雨が上がり、お天気晴れて最高でした！
ベテランガイドさんのおかげでひとり参加で心配していた11時間という長い時間と距離を歩く事、縄文杉に会えた事、同じツアーに参加した方々が皆さん良い方々で一緒に目標を達成出来た事、全ての巡り合わせに感謝でいっぱいです。

The mangrove canoeing was very enjoyable, and exploring the wild cave was a refreshing experience that I wouldn't normally get to do! The last stop, Baras Island, was sunny, and I was able to take many beautiful photos♡ Thanks to Teru-chan's cheerful guidance, I had a great time! Thank you!

I experienced snorkeling and SUP! Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the phantom island this time due to the tides, but I hope to visit it someday!

During the morning snorkeling, I was able to see a lot of corals and colorful fish. In the afternoon, I tried SUP for the first time, and it was more stable than I expected. I relaxed on the board while floating down the river and enjoyed the peaceful natural surroundings.

Throughout the experience, three guides took care of us, and they were all absolutely fantastic! They also shared recommendations for local cuisine and little tips during our travel time.

It was a fun trip! Thank you!

シュノーケルとSUPを体験しました！幻の島は潮の満ち引きの影響で今回行けなかったので、またいつか行ってみたいなと思います♪
午前のシュノーケルでは、サンゴとカラフルな魚を沢山見ることができました。午後は人生初めてのSUPでしたが、思っていたより安定感もよく、ボートに寝転んで川を流れたり、自然ののんびりした空間に癒されました\( ˆoˆ )/
全体を通して、3人のガイドさんが担当してくださりましたが、どの方もめちゃくちゃ良かったです！！！移動時間に島のおすすめグルメやプチ情報なども教えていただきました。
楽しい旅行になりました！ありがとうございます♪

Unfortunately, due to unfavorable weather conditions, we had to change our schedule, and ultimately, we couldn't do the sunset SUP. However, the staff were very flexible and accommodating, and we had a great time at the Imugya Marine Garden with the in-bay event. The teaching was thorough and easy to understand, providing us with a pleasant experience. Since the sunset SUP was during a slightly darker time, they took photos for us, but the longer shutter speed resulted in a lot of blurriness, which was a bit disappointing.

天候に恵まれず、日程を変更しながらで、最終的に残念なことに夕日SUPとはいきませんでした。しかし、スタッフの方には
臨機応変に対応していただき、イムギャーマリンガーデンでの湾内開催でもとても楽しめました。
教え方も丁寧で分かりやすく、気持ちのいい体験をさせていただきました。
夕日SUPということで少し暗い時間帯のため、写真を撮ってくださるのですが、シャッタースピードが長くなりブレが多く少し残念でした。

I had a great experience with PiPi on Iriomote Island, so I participated in a night tour on Miyako Island as well. We were able to find a large coconut crab, and my son was thrilled. The guide not only showed us what to look for but also encouraged the kids to search for themselves, which seemed to spark their sense of adventure.

One thing I was a bit disappointed about was that we didn't receive any commemorative photos or pictures of the coconut crab. When we were on Iriomote Island, we had some wonderful photos taken, so I assumed we would have the same this time. I guess it varies by guide. I would have been happy to receive photos of the creatures we saw as well.

Other than that, it was a very satisfying tour. I would love to join again if the opportunity arises. By the way, the photo is from the last time on Iriomote Island. This is what we were able to see.

西表島のPiPiさんが良かったので、宮古島でもナイトツアーに参加させていただきました。
大きなヤシガニを見つけることができて、息子も大喜びでした。ガイドさんが探したのを見せるだけでなく、子供達に自分で探さて冒険心を掻き立てるというのが子供にも楽しかったようです。
一つ残念だったのは、記念写真やヤシガニの写真等いただけなかったことです。西表島の時は写真を撮っていただいたのがとてもよい記念になりましたので、今回も撮っていただけるものと思い込んでしまいましたが、ガイドさんによってちがうのでしょうか。見た生き物の写真もいただければ嬉しかったです。
それ以外は大満足なツアーでした。また機会があればお願いしたいと思います。
ちなみに、写真は前回西表島でいただいた写真です。イメージとしてはこんな感じで見れました。

The guide was truly knowledgeable about stars, plants, animals, and insects, as expected from a nature school. Rather than just talking at us, they asked many questions, making it enjoyable even for solo participants.

They mentioned at the beginning that they wanted us to feel the transition from dusk to night, which we certainly did during the relaxed tour, allowing us to spend a peaceful time. Canoeing felt more like drifting down the river than actively paddling. As dusk turned to night, we could sense the presence and sounds of creatures starting to become active, and we even saw bioluminescent plankton.

I usually choose activities that involve physical movement, but this tour, which encouraged us to pay attention to things we often overlook, shifted my perspective a bit. It was a thoroughly satisfying experience.

ガイドさんは、さすが自然学校と看板にしているだけあって、星・動植物・昆虫なんでも詳しい方でした。一方的に話進めるのではなく、こちらへの問いかけも多く、一人参加でも十分楽しめました。

「日常ではあまり意識しない夕暮れから夜へと変わっていく景色を感じてほしい」と最初にお話されてましたが、その通りにゆったりとした案内で、のどかな時間を過ごせました。
カヌーも「漕いで移動」というよりは、川の中を流される感じ。
夕暮れから夜に変わって、活動し始める生き物の気配や鳴き声を感じたり、夜光虫も見えました。
アクティビティは体を動かすものばかりを選択してきましたが、こうした何もしないで普段気にしないことに目を配り耳を傾けるのもいいなと、価値観が少し変わった大満足のツアーでした。

Unfortunately, the starry sky was not visible, but I was able to enjoy the night jungle of Iriomote Island with excitement. The guide carefully explained each creature we encountered, and I found myself saying "Wow, I see!" repeatedly. I thought the guide was a veteran due to their attentive service and calm demeanor, but I was surprised to learn they were quite young! I highly recommend it! 😊

星空はあいにくでしたが、西表島の夜のジャングルをドキドキしながら楽しむことができました。見つける生き物を一種類ずつ丁寧に解説してもらい、へぇ〜、なるほど〜という言葉の連続でした。丁寧な対応と落ち着いたガイドでベテランさんかと思いましたが、とても若いと聞いてびっくりしました！おすすめです(^^)

I was looking for a tour that takes you to the top of Pinai Sara. I made a reservation because the reviews and the Yaeyama soba for lunch looked delicious. The tour guide was kind and confirmed the necessary items in advance, and the tour facility was clean, with showers, a place to store luggage, and lockers.

While canoeing to the base of the waterfall, we were able to enjoy the nature of Iriomote at our own pace, as the guide encouraged us to take it slow. The mountain trail to the top was not as tough as I expected, and the guide helped us manage our pace, making the climb enjoyable.

Above all, the view from the top and being able to eat Yaeyama soba at the waterfall was moving. They prepared it on-site, and both the soba and the meat were very delicious. The water level at the base of the waterfall was high due to the rain that day, making it quite impressive! The brown sugar and mochi we received along the way were also tasty.

I think the journey to the base of the waterfall is enjoyable with the unique plants and nature of Iriomote. The return canoe ride, basking in the sunlight and feeling the nature around us, was a truly blissful time. The guide had a calm demeanor, and their gentle, slow-paced energy was very pleasant. Hearing stories about living on Iriomote was refreshing and fun.

It was a day that made me want to book this tour again and visit Iriomote Island!

ピナイサーラの頂上まで行けるツアーを探していました。
クチコミとお昼ごはんの八重山そばが美味しそうだったので予約。
ツアーガイドさんも親切で事前に必要な物の確認もしてくださり、ツアーの建物もシャワーや荷物置き、ロッカーも清潔感がありました。
滝のふもとまでカヌーで行く際も焦らずゆっくりいきましょうと自分達のペースで西表の自然を満喫しながら向かうことが出来ました。
頂上までの山道も思ったほど過酷ではなくガイドさんがペース配分してくださり楽しく登れました。
何より頂上の景色と滝の上で八重山そばを食べれるのが感動的でした。その場で調理して下さりそばの味もお肉もとても美味しかったです。
滝壺も当日は雨天のあとで水量が多く迫力がありすぎました！途中頂いた黒糖やお餅も美味しかったです。
滝壺までの道中も西表ならではの植物や自然に飽きずに楽しめると思います。
帰りのカヌーも日に照らされ自然を感じながら、ゆっくり過ごす時間がとても至福の時間でした。
ガイドさんも穏やかな雰囲気で優しくスロウなテンションがとても心地よかったです。西表島に住むまでの話や住んでいての話を聞けたりとても新鮮で楽しかったです。
またこのツアーにお願いしたいな、西表島に来たいなと感じる1日でした！

I finally decided to travel to Yakushima, a place I've wanted to visit for years, thinking that now is the time! I requested a guide based on a recommendation from a friend who had trekked with Tsugimura-san before.

On the first day, there was an incident where my flight was canceled, and I arrived in Yakushima in the early afternoon the next day. However, Tsugimura-san was flexible and adjusted the itinerary, so we did Shiratani Unsuikyo on the first day and Jomon Sugi on the second day.

The two days in Yakushima were wonderful; the first day was clear (the view from Taiko Rock was stunning), and the second day was cloudy with occasional sunshine, which I think was perfect for long trekking!

Tsugimura-san's guiding was very enjoyable, and the long journey to Jomon Sugi felt like it flew by. He provided various quizzes and shared a lot of knowledge about Yakushima, making it a lot of fun! Also, he took breaks at scenic points when we were tired, which helped reset our energy and allowed us to continue to the next rest stop.

Additionally, he took many beautiful photos and videos, creating unforgettable memories of my amazing time in Yakushima! Thank you very much for all your help this time. I would love to request your guidance again when I visit Yakushima next time.

数年前から行きたかった屋久島に、今しかない！と思い今回旅行を決行しました。
以前こちらのガイドさん（津曲さん）でトレッキングした友人からの紹介で、ガイドを依頼しました。
初日に飛行機が欠航となるアクシデントがあり、翌日屋久島に着くのが昼過ぎになりましたが、初日縄文杉、2日目白谷雲水峡のところを、津曲さんに臨機応変な対応をして頂き、初日白谷雲水峡、2日目縄文杉のコースで決行して頂きました。
屋久島での二日間は、初日は快晴（太鼓岩からの絶景が綺麗すぎた）、2日目は曇り時々晴れで長時間のトレッキングには最適だったと思います‼︎

津曲さんのガイドはとても愉快で、縄文杉までの長い道のりも、あっとゆう間でした。
色んなクイズを出してくれたり、屋久島に関する色々な知識を教えて下さったので、とても楽しかったです♪
あと疲れた頃に絶景ポイントで休憩を取って下さり、疲労がリセットされて、次の休憩地点まで足を進めることが出来たと思います。
また、とても素敵な写真や動画を沢山撮って下さり、屋久島での最高過ぎる素敵な思い出が出来ました‼︎
今回大変お世話になり、ありがとうございました。次回屋久島行く時も、またガイドをお願いしたいです。

On the way to the jungle, I was excited to see various rare creatures like unusual owls, turtles, and crabs! Once I arrived, I was surprised to see fireflies, snakes, large crabs, and hermit crabs in their natural state! I even saw a habu curled up, which made me realize how these creatures live. I enjoyed a world that is unimaginable in everyday life! After passing through the jungle, I was moved by the ocean and the starry sky that spread out before me! Since it was a new moon, there was no moonlight, and the starry sky was incredibly beautiful! A new moon is definitely worth aiming for!

ジャングル？に向かう途中から、珍しいフクロウやカメ、カニなど珍しい生物を色々見れて興奮！現地に着いてからは、土ホタル、ヘビ、大きなカニ、ヤドカリなどが自然のまんま見られて、ビックリしました！ハブも丸まっていて、こんな風に生物も生活してるんだと。日常から考えられない世界を満喫！そのジャングルを抜けたら、海と満天の星空が広がり感動しました！新月だったので、月光がなく星空がめちゃくちゃキレイ‼️新月狙い目です♪

Since I had no trekking experience and was anxious about it being my first time, I decided to join a tour. I was quite nervous about participating alone, but thanks to the kindness of the guide, I was placed at the back of the group. The guide also encouraged me to take my time at the photo spots, which was very helpful. The couple and the group of four ladies who were also on the tour were friendly and easy to talk to, making the trekking experience enjoyable. I'm really glad I chose to join the tour.

トレッキングの経験もなく、初めてで不安だったのでツアーにしました。1人参加もかなり不安だったのですが、ガイドさんのご厚意で最後尾にして頂き、写真スポットも最後にゆっくり撮って大丈夫だからと声かけて頂き助かりました。ツアー参加者のご夫婦、4人グループのお姉様方も気さくに話して頂き楽しくトレッキングする事が出来、ツアーにして本当に良かったです。

This was our first trip to Yakushima as a couple. We usually don't walk long distances, so we practiced by going on day hikes twice a month for three months before tackling the Jomon Sugi trekking. For safety and peace of mind, we booked a private tour. Our guide, Mr. Taniyama, was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us engaged for the entire 10 hours, sharing so much about Yakushima's nature. While talking, he adjusted the pace to match our stamina, allowing us to enjoy the 22-kilometer trek without feeling tired or struggling at any point. The hospitality during the tour was outstanding; we enjoyed miso soup made from spring water and had many photos taken, which were promptly sent to us. He lent us mats and trekking poles only when necessary, providing exceptional service! Mr. Green Man of Yakushima was truly a master of hospitality!

The next day's half-day Shiratani Unsuikyo tour was not private, as we had booked a regular tour. Besides us, there was only one other participant, making a total of three people plus Mr. Taniyama as our guide from the previous day. Since we had received extensive guidance on the first day, the solo participant walked in front of us, and we followed behind. We could hear everything clearly and understood well. I believe that with up to four people, it would be easy to follow along, but with more than four, it can become difficult to hear and maintain a consistent pace, so we felt lucky to have a small group of three this time.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we had to give up on reaching Taiko Rock and turned back at the mossy forest. Such decisions are hard to make without a guide, so we felt reassured. Since we finished a bit early, we were taken to a hot spring to wash off the sweat, changed, and were driven to the airport in time for our flight! The second day was also incredibly well-organized!

Overall, I feel that having a private tour was the best choice for peace of mind regarding COVID-19 precautions. I highly recommend it for those worried about stamina, wanting to take photos, or needing to hear the guide properly. For a tour like Shiratani Unsuikyo, which lasts about 4-5 hours, a regular tour would be fine, but for the long 10-hour trek, I wanted to avoid worrying about others, so going private for Jomon Sugi was absolutely the right decision. It was stress-free!

I highly recommend Mr. Taniyama as a guide! Thanks to him, we had the best day and a half. Thank you very much. For those considering a guided tour for Yakushima trekking, you might hesitate due to the cost, but I encourage you to go ahead and book a private tour! It was safe, stress-free, and allowed us to relax in nature without any distractions. Thank you, Mr. Taniyama!

普段はそこまで長距離を歩くことはなく、3ヶ月前から日帰りハイキングを月2度ほどして、歩く練習をしてから縄文杉トレッキングに臨みました。
縄文杉トレッキングは安心安全の為にも、プライベートツアーを申込みました。ガイドの谷山さんは知識量もかなり豊富、10時間ずっと無言になることなく、屋久島の自然についてたくさん案内して頂きました。お話をされながらも、私たちの体力に合わせたペース配分をして頂き、全く疲れを感じることなく、一時も辛いと感じることなく、楽しく22キロの道のりを歩くことが出来ました。ツアー中のホスピタリティ、おもてなしも大変素晴らしく、湧水を沸かして作ったお味噌汁を食べさせてもらったり、写真もたくさん撮って頂き、大量のデータもサクッと送っていただきました。敷物やストックは必要な時にだけサラッと貸して頂き、本当に至れり尽くせり！屋久島のMr.グリーンマンはおもてなしの達人でもありました！
次の日の半日白谷雲水峡ツアーはプライベートではなく、通常ツアーを申し込んでいました。私達夫婦以外はお一人しかおらず、3名＋昨日から引き続きの谷山さんがガイドでした。
一日目に目一杯案内して頂いておりましたので、ガイドさんの後ろをお一人参加の方に歩いて頂き、その後ろを私達夫婦が歩きました。お話が聞こえにくいこともなく、ちゃんと聞き取れました。4名くらいまでだったら、お話はちゃんと聞けると思いましたが、やはり、4名以上になると、話を聞くのが難しかったり、ペースがバラバラになり、距離が空いたりしてしまうので、今回は3名の少人数でラッキーだったと思います。
生憎のお天気で太鼓岩まで行くことは断念し、苔むす森で引き返しました。こういった判断も、ガイドさんなしでは判断つきにくく、安心できました。
少し早く予定を終えた分、温泉に連れて行って頂き、さっぱり汗を流し、着替えて帰りの空港まで送って頂き、飛行機に乗れました！2日目も至れり尽くせりでした！
全体的な感想として、コロナ感染症対策としてもプライベートは何より安心でした。体力不足を心配な方や、写真を撮りたい、案内をちゃんと聞きたい方には本当にお勧めします。白谷雲水峡ツアーくらいの4〜5時間程度でしたら通常ツアーでも良いのですが、10時間という長時間、他の方に気を遣いながら歩くのはどうしても避けたかったので、縄文杉はプライベートにして大正解でした。ノンストレスでした！
そして、ガイドの谷山さんをおすすめします！この方のおかげで、最高の一日半を過ごせました。ありがとうございました。

The sounds of air and flowing water from the deep forest, surrounded by lush greenery, made even the rain feel cherished, allowing me to experience a sense of the extraordinary and a valuable experience.

奥深い森林の中からの空気や水の流れる音、緑溢れる中で自然に抱かれ雨までが愛おしく感じる事で非日常を感じ貴重な体験ができました。

I participated in a morning canoeing session and an afternoon sea turtle snorkeling tour.

The day before, I received a call regarding the meeting place, what to bring, and important notes for the day.

On the day of the tour, we gathered at 10:30 at Imugya Marine Garden! The instructor was a cheerful and lively person named Kuma-kun. I was nervous since it was my first time canoeing, but I was grateful for the thorough explanations he provided. It was the middle of the rainy season, and unfortunately, the sea was murky due to heavy rain the day before, but luckily, the weather was calm on the day of the tour, allowing us to paddle smoothly to our favorite spots. I was so excited to discover how much fun canoeing can be! Along the way, we peeked into the water, navigated through narrow gaps between rocks, and even saw an eagle carrying a large fish (Kuma-kun mentioned it was his first time seeing that too). Chatting with Kuma-kun made the 1.5 hours fly by.

After that, we had a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00, during which we could freely explore, eat at nearby shops, or visit souvenir stores.

In the afternoon, we gathered at Shigira Beach at 14:00, and the instructor was Mao-kun! He provided detailed explanations with great effort. I had done snorkeling a few times before, but I felt that he was the most thorough instructor I had encountered. In the sea, he took us to a spot where we could see clownfish, and then to a location where sea turtles were present for my long-awaited sea turtle snorkeling! I had seen sea turtles from above the water several times, but this time, they were so close that I could reach out and touch them (they stayed about 1 meter in front of me) while they were eating! I was able to witness the turtles coming up for air three times, every five minutes, and it was truly a lot of fun.

About an hour after the tour ended, they sent us many photos of the canoeing and snorkeling via LINE! This was amazing! Also, it's often difficult to take good photos while in the water, so receiving the data was really appreciated.

It was a thoroughly satisfying day. Thank you very much!

午前カヌー、午後ウミガメシュノーケリンツアーに参加しました。

前日に、当日の集合場所や持ち物、注意点についてお電話をもらいました。

当日は、10:30にイムギャーマリンガーデンに集合！
インストラクターは明るくてノリのいい、くまくんでした。
はじめてのカヌーで緊張していましたが、すごく丁寧に説明してくれたので、ありがたかったです。
梅雨真っただ中で、前日は大雨だったので残念ながら海は濁っていましたが、幸運なことに当日は凪だったので、自分の好きな場所にスイスイ移動できて、カヌーってこんなに楽しいんだ！と大興奮でした。
途中で海の中を覗いてみたり、狭い岩の間を移動してみたり、鷲が大きな魚を重そうに運ぶところをみたり（くまくんも初めて見たそうです。）、くまくんとのおしゃべりも楽しく、あっという間の1.5時間でした。

そのあと、12:00～14:00は昼休憩ですが、自由に行動できるので、近所のお店で食べたり、お土産物屋さんにいったりできます。

午後は14:00にシギラビーチに集合で、インストラクターはまおくんです！
一生懸命、丁寧に説明してくださりました。シュノーケリングはこれまで何度かしたことがありますが、今までで一番丁寧に説明してくださるインストラクターさんだな、と感じました。
海では、ニモのいるスポットに連れてってくれて、その後はウミガメがいる場所に連れてってくれて念願のウミガメシュノーケリング！！
ウミガメはこれまで海の上からは何度か見ることはありましたが、手を伸ばせば触れる近距離（目の前1mくらいのところにずっといます。）で、食事をしているところをずっと観察！！ウミガメの5分おきの息継ぎを3回も見ることができて、本当にとても楽しかったです。

ツアーが終了して約1時間後には、LINEを通してカヌーとシュノーケリングの写真をたくさん送ってくれました！これはすごい！また、海で自分で写真を撮ってもなかなかうまくは撮れませんし、データでいただけるのはすごくうれしかったです。

大満足な一日でした。

I was worried about the light rain all morning, but it stopped just before our 11 o'clock departure, and the sun even peeked out occasionally.

According to the boatman, when the weather is too clear, the reflection can make it hard to see, so having some clouds like today makes for a better view.

The coastline of Otaru was more varied than I expected, with rolling hills, cliffs, and even small waterfalls. We were able to enter the Blue Cave and see the beautiful turquoise blue waters. The boatman had been in Japan for over 20 years, and he was quite entertaining to talk to.

午前中ずっと小雨で心配していましたが、私達の乗る１１時ちょっと前に止み、時々太陽も顔を出すぐらいとなりました。
船頭さんの話では、晴天すぎると反射して見えないこともあるので、今日ぐらいに雲がある方がきれいに見えるとのことでした。

思った以上に小樽の海岸線は、起伏に富んだ山や崖があり、小さな滝もありました。
青の洞窟の中にも入れ、きれいなターコイズブルーを見ることができました。
船頭さんは、日本に来て20年以上になる方でしたが、話も面白かったです。

Mr. Hoshi is the best! I had a great time learning about the island! I was able to hear recommendations for dinner and that I could do a night tour on the same day, so I ended up booking both for that day! When I go to Iriomote again, I will definitely book a tour (^ -^)

At first, there were concerns about whether we could go snorkeling due to the bad weather, but on the day of the tour, the weather was fantastic, and we were able to go kayaking and snorkeling in the Blue Cave as planned.
Kayaking allowed us to paddle upstream through the mangrove forest, connecting with nature.
The snorkeling took us further out than expected, where we encountered a variety of colorful fish and witnessed the mystery of the coral.
During the car ride, we had a great time chatting with the instructor, and we ended up having a fun tour.
If the opportunity arises, I would definitely like to participate again.

最初、天気が良くないため、シュノーケリングもできるかどうかと言われていましたが、当日はめちゃくちゃ天気も良く、予定通りカヤックと青の洞窟シュノーケリングがすることができました。
カヤックは川を遡上しマングローブの森の中を行き、自然に触れ合えました。
シュノーケリングは思っていたより沖に出てくれたため、色とりどりの種類の魚達と出会うことができ、また珊瑚の神秘性も見ることができました。
車中はインストラクターと色々な話をして大盛り上がりで、楽しいツアーを終えることが出来ました。
機会があれば、是非また参加したいと思います。

The rainy season has begun in Okinawa. I was worried about the rain, but the mountains drenched in rain looked beautiful, and the plants appeared vibrant. Since there are slippery areas, I recommend wearing sneakers or other athletic shoes.

梅雨入りした沖縄。雨が心配でしたが、雨に濡れた山々が美しく、植物が生き生きして見えました。滑りやすい所もあるので、スニーカーなどの運動靴がおすすめです。

Overall, it was still a lot of fun. We did snorkeling and paragliding, and there was a free photo service where we could download our pictures from the related website a day or two later, which was really nice.
Also, make sure to take motion sickness medication. I thought I was someone who didn't get seasick, but after drinking a lot of seawater while snorkeling, I realized I started feeling seasick once I got back on land.

总体来说还是很好玩的，浮潜+滑翔伞，还有免费给我们拍照片的服务，一两天后可以到相关的网址去下载自己的照片，很nice。
然后一定要记得吃晕船药，我本来以为自己是一个不晕船的人，但是在浮潜的时候喝了很多海水，再上岸就发现自己开始晕船了。。

Iriomote Island during Golden Week. The weather was not great with light rain. They mentioned that same-day cancellations were possible, and I debated until the evening, but I thought it would be better than lounging around at the hotel, so I decided to go after all. The guide helped us find coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and snakes, making it a fun experience. Thank you!

当日キャンセルも可能と言って頂き、夕方まで悩みましたが、ホテルでダラダラするよりはと思い、折角なので行ってみました。
ガイドさんが、ヤシガニ、ヤドカリ、ヘビを見つけたくれて、楽しませてくれました。ありがとうございます

I was very satisfied with the sightseeing experience I had in a limited amount of time. I don't think I could have had this experience on my own in such a short time. Also, the lunch was very delicious and excellent. The tour guide was very efficient and did a great job.

I would love to go again.

It was a canoe course around Yufu Island. There were more trees than I expected, and it was challenging to paddle through the jungle, haha. Not only during the canoeing but also during the car ride, I enjoyed the discussions about the wildlife of Iriomote and how the ditches and roads are designed for them! I also received recommendations for good restaurants in Ishigaki and Iriomote!

思ったよりも木がたくさんあり、ジャングルの中をカヌーで進むのは難しかったです笑
カヌーの時だけでなく、移動中の車で西表の生き物の話・そのために側溝や道が工夫されていることなどお話いただいてたのしかったです！
石垣、西表のおすすめのご飯屋さんなども教えていただけました！

My spouse and I stayed in Miyako Island and signed up for kayaking. Although the waves made it difficult to see underwater from the surface, the clear boat allowed us to see clearly, and the small fish were adorable. Additionally, we had a wonderful experience capturing videos and photos with a drone from above, creating lovely memories. Thank you very much! The staff were cheerful and friendly, so we would love to participate again!

夫婦で宮古島に滞在し、カヤックをやりたくて申し込みました。海面からは海中が波があるので見えにくいのですが、クリヤボートなので鮮明に見えて小さい魚が可愛かったです。また、上からドローンで動画や写真も撮っていただきとても素敵な思い出ができました。ありがとうございました。スタッフのかたも明るく陽気な方だったのでまた参加したいです！

Since it was forecasted to rain in the afternoon, we decided to go from Shiratani to Jomon Sugi instead of the usual route from Jomon Sugi to Shiratani. From the morning shuttle, the guide seemed to be concerned about the bus schedule. It appeared that he was tired from guiding five consecutive tours and I could already sense that he wanted to return on the 5 PM bus. This was mentioned multiple times afterward, making me feel pressured to hurry back.

On the way there, we took appropriate breaks and he even took photos for us, making the challenging journey enjoyable. However, the return from Jomon Sugi was a completely different experience; he walked ahead without guiding us at all, creating a distance that made it feel like there were ten people in our small group of just three. I found myself envious of the other tours. When my friend's shoe broke, another nearby guide suggested a quick fix, but our guide hurried on, ignoring it. In the end, my friend's shoe ended up in a terrible state, and another guide had to step in to help.

By the time we were walking on the tramway, it started to rain, but we rushed ahead to catch the 5 PM bus, walking at an incredible speed and overtaking several other tours. We were so focused on keeping up that we couldn't enjoy the scenery around us. We never even mentioned wanting to return on the 5 PM bus.

To top it all off, when we finally arrived at the bus stop just before 5 PM, there were too many passengers, and we couldn't get on. The guide then strongly told me it was our fault for being late! He ordered us to buy bus tickets quickly, but since we didn't know how, we had to ask others around us for help. Shouldn't a guide assist with that?

We were told to place our backpacks near the entrance while waiting for the bus, but no one else did. Normally, I would expect the guide to put down his own backpack in such situations. I felt there was a complete lack of consideration. When it was time to board the bus, he casually slipped in behind us. It was frustrating. The return shuttle ride was rough and scary. Overall, it was a very disappointing tour.

Given that work style reforms have been recommended for quite some time, shouldn't the guide's working conditions be reviewed? If fatigue leads to poor judgment and an accident, it could have serious consequences. I would like to visit Yakushima again, but I will never use your tours again.

この日は午後から雨予報だったので通常の縄文杉→白谷ではなく白谷→縄文杉で行きました。
朝の送迎の時からガイドはバスの時間を気にしてました。5連続でガイドをして疲れているらしく17時のバスで帰りたそうな気配をすでに感じ取れました。その後、この話は何度もされ早く帰らなきゃと気を使いました。
行きは適度に休憩を取り写真も撮ってくれて厳しい道のりでしたが楽しんで歩けていました。が、縄文杉からの折り返しは一変し、ガイドすることもなくひたすらスタスタを歩いて行ってしまいました。たった3人だけのツアーなのに10人位いるかのような間隔の遠さで途中からガイドツアーなのかフリーなのかと錯覚するほど。他のツアーの方々が羨ましかったです。友人の靴が壊れてしまった際も近くにいた他のガイドが応急処置を促したのにも関わらず先を急いでいるのでスルーされました。結局、友人の靴は悲惨な事になり他のガイドが見かねて処置をしてくれました。トロッコ道を歩く頃には雨が降り出したのですが17時のバスに間に合わせようと凄い速さで歩き進めました。他のツアーを何組も抜かす程でした。友人の靴を気にする事もなく雨で滑りやくなっているのにスピードは落ちませんでした。私たちはついて行くのに必死すぎて周りの景色なんて楽しめませんでした。そもそも17時のバスで帰りたいなんて一言も言ってませんけどね。極め付けは、やっとのおもいで何とか17時前にバス停に着いたものの乗客が沢山いすぎて乗れなかった際にガイドが私に向かって遅かったからだ！と強く言い放ちました。バスのチケットを早く買えと命令してくるもチケットの買い方なんて知らない我々は周りの方に聞きながら買いました。ガイドならそこまで案内するべきではないですか？なんなんですかね。バスの順番待ちにリュックを入り口付近へ置くように言われましたが私たち以外には置いた人はいませんでした。普通、そういう時はガイドが自分のリュックを置くと思うのですが？配慮のかけらもない方だと思いました。バス乗車時には何食わぬ顔で私たちの後ろにスッと入ってきました。嫌気がさしました。帰りの送迎も運転が荒く怖かったです。後味悪すぎるツアーとなりました。
働き方改革はずいぶん前から推奨されているのでガイドの勤務体制を見直すべきではないでしょうか？過労により判断を誤って事故を起こしたら取り返しがつかなくなりますよ。屋久島にはまた来たいと思いますが御社のツアーは二度と利用しません。
