I participated in a kayaking tour that started at 10 AM with my partner. To my surprise, all the other participants were foreigners! Before we got on the kayaks, our tour guide, Yuito, kindly explained how to use the paddles and the safety precautions in both Japanese and English. During the approximately one-hour tour, we were taken to some mystical locations, and we were able to take a lot of photos. After the tour, we returned our sandals and paddles, washed our feet, changed clothes, and finally wrote down our impressions of the day before concluding. The timing was pretty much on schedule.

I highly recommend this tour as it can be enjoyed by people of all ages!

十時スタートのカヤッキングツアーでカップルで参加しました。驚いたことに参加者が私以外外国人でした！カヤックに乗る前にツアーガイドのゆいとさんが日本語と英語で丁寧にオールの使い方や注意事項を説明してくださいました。約一時間のツアーで神秘的な場所にも連れて行ってもらい、写真もたくさん撮ってもらいました。ツアー終了後はサンダル、オールを返却し、足を洗って、着替えをして、最後に今日の感想を書いて終了です。おおよそ時間通りでした。
このツアーは老若男女楽しめるので皆さんにオススメしたいです。

Visiting Miyako Island for the first time at the end of March was a very pleasant experience. Although I had to wear a wetsuit for marine activities, looking up at the sky, I felt as if countless stars were falling down. I was able to spend a special time learning about the Winter Triangle and other constellations. The person who took my photos was also from my hometown, which created a warm and friendly atmosphere. I also appreciate their help in addressing the fact that I had mistakenly scheduled my day. If you ever visit Miyako Island, I highly recommend experiencing a day like this!

初めての宮古島3月末と言う事てわ、とても過ごしやすい時期ですので、マリン関係もウテットスーツを着なければならない状況でしたが、空を見上げると⭐️なんと星が沢山降ってきているように感じるではありませんか。
冬の大三角形など説明を受けて特別な時間⏰を過ごすことができました。撮影してくれる方も同郷という事もあり和やかな雰囲気を感じられました。又1日間違えていた事にも対応してくれて、感謝です。
是非皆さんも宮古島へ行ったら、こんな1日いかがでしょうか？

I was able to see various kinds of fish, and I even got to meet a sea turtle, which made for the best memories! The guide was entertaining and explained everything clearly, and in the end, I jumped off from the second floor of the boat, haha! I thoroughly enjoyed the waters of Kerama!

I participated with eight high school students, and we had a great time, especially during the final race. The staff was very attentive and taught us well, so we felt safe and enjoyed ourselves!

高校生8人で参加させて貰ったんですが、最後競走などさせてもらって楽しかったです。
丁寧にスタッフの方が教えてくれるので安心安全で楽しめました！

The tour included snorkeling at the Phantom Island and a mangrove canoe experience, but due to the tides, we had to change the schedule to visit the Phantom Island in the morning and do the canoeing in the evening. As a result, we ended up with a sunset canoe experience, which was fantastic!

1. Phantom Island
Since it's not usually visible, I recommend checking the tide chart before making a reservation. It's incredibly beautiful and definitely a place you should visit! It might even be my favorite spot on Ishigaki Island!?

Additionally, the guide was very kind and responsive to our requests, providing us with many wonderful photos, which made us very satisfied.

2. Canoe
Considering sunburn, I recommend the sunset option! We smoothly paddled through the mangroves while listening to the sounds of birds, experiencing the jungle. The guide took many natural-looking photos, which again left us very satisfied. On our way back, they kindly recommended a great place to eat.

幻の島　シュノーケリングツアーとマングローブカヌー体験でしたが、潮の関係で続けてではなく、朝から幻の島、夕方からカヌーに変更になりました。
結果、サンセットカヌーになり最高でした！
①幻の島
普段は見られないため、潮見表で確認後予約をお勧めします。
とても綺麗で、絶対に行くべき場所！
石垣島で1番好きな場所かも!?
また、ガイドさんがとーっても親切でリクエストに応えて下さり、素敵な写真を沢山頂き、大満足でした。

②カヌー
日焼けを考えるとサンセットがお勧め！
マングローブのなかをカヌーでスイスイ漕いで鳥の鳴き声をききながらジャングル体験をできました。
ガイドさんがとっても自然な写真を沢山撮って頂き、これまた大満足。
帰りにはお勧めの食事屋さんも親切に教えていただきました。

The person who took the photos was very kind and responded gently and slowly, which made it easier for my son, who finds it difficult to maintain the same posture for a long time, to be photographed beautifully. Although they were young, they were also good at conversation, and their high communication skills made it even easier to take the photos without feeling nervous. Thank you very much!

I participated alone and joined a group of five, including our guide.

Our guide, Kiyota, made jokes and engaged each of us in conversation, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour.

Additionally, at various points, he took photos for each group, paying attention to posing and angles, and he did a great job. I really appreciate it! 🙏

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but it turned out to be a fun trekking experience. ✨

I was able to enjoy both stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling safely. I don't have swimming skills or athletic ability, but I was provided with a life jacket, foot fins, and a wetsuit, so there were no problems.

There was about a two-hour gap between the stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling, which felt a bit long, so I thought it would be better if the intervals were shorter.

サップとシュノーケリングどちらも安全に楽しめました。泳ぎスキルも運動神経もないですが、ライフジャケット、足のフィン、ウェットスーツも渡していただけたので、問題ありませんでした。
サップとシュノーケリングの間に2時間ほど空き時間があるのが、時間を持て余したので、もう少し間が短いと良いなと思いました。

The guide, Dora, was really great. The other staff members were also very cheerful and kind. There were repeat visitors, and I understood the meaning of that.

ガイドのドーアさんが本当に良かったです。他のスタッフの方々もとても明るく親切でした。リピーターの方もいらっしゃってその意味が理解できました。

At first, I was a bit anxious about the 22-kilometer journey, but once I participated, I found that the combination of the flat trolley path and trekking made it challenging yet achievable. We set off early in the morning, and although we needed flashlights, it turned out to be a great experience. The sunrise we saw along the trolley path was incredibly beautiful.

Our guide shared humorous anecdotes while explaining the history and knowledge of Yakushima and the Yakusugi trees, making the trekking enjoyable. I also appreciated the explanations of various cedars and plants beyond the famous sites.

With appropriate breaks and adjustments to our walking order based on the guide's experience, our team, which had older members, was able to reach the goal without difficulty. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Wilson Cedar, the Great Cedar, and Jomon Cedar, and this time we also got to see the trolleys working on the trolley path, as well as wild monkeys and deer, which left me very satisfied.

初めは22キロの道のりに不安もありましたが、実際に参加してみると平坦なトロッコ道とトレッキングの組み合わせで、楽ではないですが完歩することが出来ました。
出発は朝早く、懐中電灯が必要でしたが、それも良い経験で、トロッコ道の途中で見る朝日も非常に綺麗でした。
ガイドの方もユーモアを交えながら屋久島、屋久杉の歴史や知識を解説してくれて、楽しくトレッキング出来ました。
名所の他にも色々な杉や植物の説明も楽しかったです。
適度な休憩とチーム内の歩く順番の調整などガイドの方の経験値で年齢層の高いチームで
したが、無理なくゴール出来ました。
ウィルソン杉や大王杉、そして縄文杉と十分に堪能で出来、今回はトロッコ道で作業するトロッコや野生の猿や鹿も見ることが出来て、非常に満足しています。

I participated for the first time. I was so nervous that at first, it was really scary, but once I got used to it, I had so much fun that I want to participate again.

Since I'm going to Yakushima, I definitely want to see Jomon Sugi at least once. If possible, I also want to visit the moss-covered forest and Taiko Rock, so I requested a local guide for two days.

I have little mountain climbing experience and I'm afraid of heights, but there were places that were more unstable than I imagined, where a fall could lead to a disaster, and there were bridges that were tough for someone with a fear of heights. It was more serious than I expected for a beginner, and there were moments when I felt like giving up. However, thanks to the guide who was mindful of our pace and constantly reminded us to be careful of our footing and surroundings, I felt reassured, and by the end of the first day, I was able to see Jomon Sugi and safely descend.

On the second day, my body was sore from muscle pain, but I had gotten somewhat used to climbing from the first day, and compared to the Jomon Sugi course, the Shiratani Unsuikyo was a healing course, allowing me to enjoy trekking on both days.

Along the way, I was able to hear a wide range of stories about Yakushima's nature, knowledge about cedar trees, history, and animals, making the climb enjoyable despite the challenges. We also incorporated quizzes and games, which naturally increased conversations among participants, allowing us to bond as if we weren't meeting for the first time.

I had different guides on both days, and they were truly wonderful in terms of attentiveness, safety management, knowledge, and ability to entertain. I wholeheartedly recommend this trekking experience to anyone considering Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo.

屋久島に行くからには縄文杉に一度はお目にかかりたい、せっかくなら苔むす森も太鼓岩にも行ってみたいと思い、今回2日間の現地ガイドをお願いしました。

私は登山経験も少なく高所恐怖症なのですが、想像していた以上に足元が不安定で滑落すれば大惨事になりそうなところがあったり、高所恐怖症には辛い橋があったり、初心者には思った以上に本格的な登山で心が折れそうになることもありました。しかし、ガイドさんがペースを気にしてくださったり、足元や頭上注意など常に安全面に配慮した声かけをしてくださったおかげで心強く、1日目の最後は縄文杉を見て無事に下山することができました。2日目は筋肉痛で身体がぼろぼろでしたが1日目で登山に多少なれたことや、縄文杉コースに比べれば白谷雲水は癒しコースで、2日とも楽しみながらトレッキングすることができました。

また道中も屋久島の自然や杉の知識、歴史、動物の話など幅広いお話を聞くことができ、大変ながらも楽しく登山ができました。
またクイズやゲームも交えながら進んでいただき自然と参加者同士の会話も増え、初対面とは思えないほど打ち解けることができました。

2日間それぞれのガイドさんに案内していただきましたが、気配り、安全管理、知識、楽しませる力、どれを取っても本当に素晴らしいガイドさん達でした。縄文杉•白谷雲水トレッキングを考えている方には心からおすすめしたいです。

My third-grade son loves guides. We thoroughly enjoyed the history of Yakushima and the fun of the forest. I want to go to Yakushima again in the summer.

小学校三年生の息子はガイド大好きです。屋久島の歴史、森の楽しさを十分感じました。まだ夏の時、屋久島へ行きたいです。

Kayaking was my first experience in life. I've stayed in Yomitan several times, but I didn't know I could do it so close by. It was easy to participate in the city, so I joined without too many expectations, but the weather was nice, and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time. I learned a lot from the explanations about various plants. Even now that I'm back to my daily life in Okinawa, he keeps saying, "Kayaking was so much fun!" I think it's an easy activity to join since it only takes about two hours. I'm glad that my first kayaking experience went smoothly without any accidents (like falling into the river). I highly recommend it!

カヤック、人生初体験でした。
読谷に何度か宿泊しているのですが、こんな近場でできるなんて知らなかったです。
街中でお気軽に、、なので、期待しすぎず参加したのですが、天気もよく、
のんびり楽しい時間をすごせました。
いろいろな植物の説明をしてもらい、学ぶことも多かったです。
沖縄から日常に戻った今も、彼は｢カヤック楽しかったなー｣と言ってるぐらいです。
時間も2時間ぐらいなので、参加しやすいアクティビティだなーと思います。
初のカヤックも、ひとまず事故(川に落ちるとか)なく、なんとか漕げてよかった。
オススメです！

I made a reservation the night before because I wanted to decide based on the weather and my pet's condition. It was a last-minute booking, but I received a prompt call back, and we were able to go kayaking the next day! It was easy to understand the meeting location since I received it via SMS in advance.

This was our first experience with an activity involving our pet, but we all enjoyed kayaking without any fear. The staff members were very affectionate towards our pet, and it made us very happy! Thank you so much.

Lastly, we received a video shot with a drone, which became a wonderful memory of Miyako Island.

天気とペットの体調を見て決めたかったので前日の夜に予約しました。
急すぎた予約でしたがすぐに折り返しのお電話があり次の日カヤックできることになりました！
集合場所を事前にSMSでもらってたのでわかりやすかったです。

ペットとアクティビティは初めての体験でしたがカヤックを怖がることなく家族で楽しめました。またスタッフの方々がうちの子を可愛がってくださり、とても喜んでいました！ありがとうございます。

最後にドローンで撮影した動画を頂きましたが宮古島の最高の思い出になりました。

I participated with my 2-year-old child. The children's life jackets were well-adjusted and fit perfectly, which made me feel safe. They took a lot of photos for us, and above all, the staff were great at holding and playing with the kids, which was a big help. They kindly taught us how to paddle, which we really appreciated as it was our first experience. They also lent us waterproof smartphone cases for free, and the drone footage was impressive. They taught me how to ride carefully, and I was able to ride easily even as a beginner. I was moved by the beauty of the ocean, the stunning scenery, and the pleasant breeze! I'm so glad I did it!!

Unfortunately, due to bad weather, I couldn't go snorkeling at the Blue Cave, but they were very accommodating. I want to try again!

I realized the importance of rowing in sync rather than selfishly. At first, I thought it wasn't fun when I was rowing alone and kept bumping into branches or colliding with others. But when I rowed together properly, we gained speed and stability, and it became really enjoyable.

"One-day experience of the Mangrove SUP or Canoe Tour with optional landing on the Phantom Island and snorkeling!" Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't go canoeing and had to shorten it to half a day. The weather in Ishigaki Island can change quickly, so it couldn't be helped.

We set off in the rain in the morning. By the time we arrived at the Phantom Island, the rain had stopped, and it was beautiful! After that, we moved on to snorkeling. It was incredibly beautiful, and I was very satisfied.

午前中雨の中出発。幻の島に到着する頃には雨もやみ、きれいでしたよー。
そこから移動してシュノーケリング。すんごくきれいで大満足。

I'm glad I got to see the mangroves. The instructor was very kind, and even though it was my first time kayaking, I had a great time.

The pumpkin cave was great because we could go inside and explore. I changed to SUP at the last minute, but I really appreciated how flexible they were in accommodating that. Both the 21-year-old and the 23-year-old guides were cheerful and kind, which made the experience enjoyable.

I participated based on a friend's recommendation, and it was even more enjoyable than I imagined! I had a fantastic time in the great outdoors! They taught me how to operate the kayak carefully, and I was able to paddle smoothly. I definitely want to participate again!

We had a great winter experience trekking with snowshoes to see the drift ice at Abashiri Hokkaido. Our guide Kaneko -san was excellent...spoke English and very professional in guiding us through the route where we saw deers, fox, birds and bear foot prints on the snow. We were rewarded with a beautiful sight of the drift ice off the sea shores (we can actually touch the drift ice) and Kaneko -san prepared for us hot chocolate drinks and biscuits. Had time for a small picnic and we took numerous photos of the drift ice and the nearby water fall. When you are at Abashiri, this is a must do activity... especially for us who come from a tropical country like Malaysia.

I'm so glad I went! The weather was great, which contributed to the perfect conditions, but the starry sky was the best I've ever seen in my life, with countless stars against the pitch-black sky. I saw more stars than in a planetarium.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any coconut crabs during the exploration, but it was a unique and fun experience that we couldn't have done alone, as the night jungle would have been too scary to navigate by ourselves. Thank you for the tour!

行って大正解でした！天気が良くて最高の条件だった事もあるけど、真っ暗な空に満天の星で、長年生きてきた中で1番の星空でした。
プラネタリウムよりも多い星を見ました

探検では残念ながらヤシガニは見れませんでしたが、自分たちだけでは夜の茂みは怖くてまわれないしとても貴重で楽しかったです。

We were blessed with good weather and were able to see an unprecedented number of stars. I think the night spent lying on the sandy beach will be unforgettable. Although we didn't encounter any coconut crabs or other bugs and insects, just wandering around the pitch-black path where nothing could be seen once the lights were turned off was a first for us, and the kids were excited the whole time. When we went to dip our feet in the sea, we unexpectedly saw bioluminescent plankton! That was really fascinating too!

お天気に恵まれ、見たことのない数の星を見ることができました。砂浜に寝転がり過ごした夜は忘れられないものとなると思います。ヤシガニや他の虫や昆虫には出会えませんでしたが、電気を消せば何も見えなくなる夜道をウロウロすること自体が初めてのことで、子供たちも終始興奮していました。
海に足だけつかりに行くと予期せぬ夜光虫を見れました！それもとても面白ろかったです！

Since it was the change of seasons, I wasn't expecting much, but the weather was so nice that I thought the sea would look beautiful! So, I made a reservation the day before. In the morning, we went canoeing on the Urauchi River, and in the afternoon, we did snorkeling at Barasu and another spot. The snorkeling had an unbelievably high level of clarity, and we were able to see clownfish, butterflyfish, and many other types of fish. Our guide in the morning was Teru, and in the afternoon, it was Kengo. Both guides were very knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel safe. When I expressed my lack of confidence in swimming, they took various considerations into account, which allowed us to fully enjoy both the morning and afternoon activities.

Both of them had a deep love for Iriomote Island and shared many interesting things with us, including the beauty and enjoyment of rainy days. I highly recommend this tour for those visiting Iriomote Island for the first time! Make sure to experience this tour at the beginning of your stay on Iriomote Island. You will definitely fall in love with Iriomote Island!

季節の変わり目なので期待していなかったのですが、あまりに天気が良いので、海が綺麗そう！と思い前日に予約しました。午前中は浦内川でのカヌー、午後はバラスともう一つ別のポイントでのシュノーケリングです。シュノーケリングは信じられないほど透明度が高くクマノミ、チョウチョウウオ、その他沢山の魚を見る事ができました。午前のガイドはテルさん、午後のガイドはケンゴさんでした。どちらのガイドさんも視野が広く、親切で安心です。泳力に自信が無い事を伝えると色々と配慮してくれました。おかけで午前も午後も満喫できました。
お二人共、西表島愛があり色々な事を教えてくれました。
雨の日の美しさ、楽しみなども。

I applied for a canoe tour on Miyako Island, but I was turned down due to safety concerns related to my disability. However, this canoe & SUP tour welcomed me warmly, and I found them to be a very good organization. Communication was clear, and I was able to spend a very meaningful and enriching time. The clear canoe and SUP allowed me to see fish that weren't clearly visible from the surface, as well as the coral on the bottom, which greatly enhanced my satisfaction and made for a very enjoyable experience.

同じ宮古島でカヌーツアーを申し込んだが、障害があるとして安全性を理由に断られた。
しかし、こちらのカヌー&SUPツアーは快く受け入れていただき大変良い団体とお見受けした。
コミュニケーションもしっかり取れて、大変有意義かつ濃密な時間を過ごせました。
クリアカヌー、SUPは底が見えるので海面上でははっきりと見えない魚も見えたり、底のサンゴ見えるため満足感は高く非常に楽しくすごせました。
